Beautiful island, lovely beaches ..taxis are an absolute joke trying to get one for over 4 people and it's all the one taxi company but most won't even radio or try get you a 7 seater.very unhelpful drivers.
The whole of the trip was very well, organised. Visited a variety of attractions with super explanations of each area. Lovely island to visit, plenty to see and amazing food. Tour guide was fantastic.
It was very good. We enjoyed our experience . It’s a long day though. The fishing village stop for lunch was literally dead. Time on the beach was decent. It’s a nearby island for a day trip is good enough.
Aside from the national park there was nothing to see. We were dumped on the commercial street in two villages that could be on any island.
The little village of El Cottilo (second stop) is a home run but the other stops are not good at all. The first stop is some large coastal town with souvenirs and shopping but nothing to write home about. el Cotillo is great for lunch and drinks and some walking around the side streets and shops and boutiques - a good two hours 15 spent. The final two stops included a pull over to do some photos of sand dunes and then hanging around in some nowhere’s ville beach area for an hour to kill time with just a couple of basic options - 2 modest bars and a Hyper Dino supermarket. Boat travel to the island was adequate. At least we had a sense of Fuerteventura and got a fridge magnet.
Good way to see the northern area of the island. Two hours spent in Corralejo was way too long. Nothing much to see. More time could be spent visiting other parts of the island. Puerto del Rosario perhaps? El Cotillo was a beautiful lunch stop. Stunning coastline. Perhaps too long a stop? Sand dunes and beach were well worth a visit. Overall a pleasant day out but with a lot of long unnecessary stops and hanging about. Was the trip worthwhile? Yes, if you want to see a very small part of northern Fuerteventura 😊
It was well organised and as I had made a request to be seated near the front of the coach it was much appreciated that this had been done. Only slight problem was on the ferry coming back from the island. I am not good climbing up stairs and even worse coming down. Luckily I had a lady in front of me who assisted me down the ramp. The visits to each of the places on the tour were good and the recommendations for places to eat were first class. The drivers and guide were very pleasant as well.
Well organised, friendly and helpful staff along the way. We prefer lanzarote to fuerteventura though but glad we went.
Fantastic. The guides were friendly, knowledgeable, engaging and just fabulous. This was a great introduction to Fuerteventura. Thank you!
A great way to get a taste of Fuerteventura in a day. The tour guide was professional and informative. The only issue was that the air conditioning on the coach in Fuerteventura was not working making it unbearably hot. The tour guide did apologise for this.
I did the full package tour. All the reps were fantastic. While in Corralejo and El Cotillo we were given advice on who to phone if we got lost and getting to spend time at the Dunes/Beach was amazing. Well worth it.
Well organised tour by very good reps. Only issue was weather was cold and very windy. Unfortunately at the last stop we were left for an hour but there was nowhere to get out the cold and wind. The bus driver was having a break so the entire trip stood arround freezing as we couldn't get back into the bus
Our first stop after disembarking was exploring Corralejo. This vibrant port town is full of character, with lovely shops, and great spots for lunch with ocean views. After we headed to El Cotillo, a more tranquil fishing village with a distinctly rustic charm. The highlight here was exploring the rugged coastline and the famous lagoons. The old lighthouse adds a picturesque backdrop to an already idyllic scene. Our final stop was the incredible Fuerteventura dunes, a vast expanse of rolling white sand that feels like a slice of the Sahara dropped right into the Canary Islands! It's offering stunning photo opportunities and a real sense of wonder! From the dramatic landscapes of the dunes to the seaside charm of Corralejo and the serene beauty of El Cotillo, this day trip offers a fantastic mix of experiences! Highly recommended!
Far too much time to put in, which is exhausting. Tour guide could have more enthusiasm, no chatter or banter at all from the guide.
Brilliant Day Boat excursion to Ferverventura & Guided Tour by Lineas Romero .. Yantz "AKA" (Superman) was a real joy to have take us around the island, made us feel very assured of all meeting times and all our needs, Credit to him and the rest of the Tour Guides .. made the Tour all the better with his Humour and vast Knowledge not too mention his Multi Language Skills . Love to come back would highly recommend this Tour
for reasons not given, despite pick ups from other resorts in the vicinity, this was not available for us, requiring a taxi to pick up point. we were perplexed at when on bus, we passed by our resort, en route to other pick ups. it transpires that there is little to see, do on Fuerteventura, apart from eat, drink, shop, relax. accordingly, full marks to our guide, Jens(?) effortlessly switching between Spanish, English, German, providing information, answering questions. he made our trip a success.
Good picked up from hotel tour guides where great had fab time island hoping. Would definitely recommend doing this trip as you see the whole island and we loved the sand dunes all in all lovely day out but it is a full day which is fine for us but maybe not for everyone
If you have a free day in Lanzarote and want to see something different, this trip to Fuerteventura is a really nice option. The ferry ride over is quick, everything was well organized from start to finish. Our English-speaking guide was excellent – very friendly and shared lots of interesting information about the island along the way. I also liked the restaurant tips and small details, which made the bus journey more enjoyable. The bus itself was air-conditioned, and the drop-off points were conveniently close to the main streets with souvenir shops and restaurants. Staff on the ferry were also very welcoming. The only part I didn’t enjoy as much was the last stop at the beach. It’s located between two hotels and there’s only one bar and a small shop, so not a lot to do there. For me, that part of the day wasn’t really necessary. Overall, though, it was a pleasant and well-run excursion, and a good choice if you don’t have much planned on Lanzarote.
It was a lovely excursion where we were informed about the history of each town we visited aswell as local attractions we may be interested in going to. The sand dunes were one of the highlights of the day!
Wonderful day. Guide fantastic, provided lots of local information, in a very interesting manner. All the planned stops were not rushed.
Really a good experience to see, even though fastly, this magical island. You will have to take the ferry at the end of the harbour, on the left. Once on the ferry, you should stand on and see the blue ocean. When you arrive in Corralejo, walk the course of the town and drink or eat something in the bars in front of the beach (waikiki is good). When arrived in El Cotillo, you really should go to “el cotillo beach”: a piece of paradise. After, the visit is guided so you will do what everybody does. I really enjoyed this fast seen of Fuerteventura.
Good communication with regards to the pick up time and also advising that we would need to make out own way to the harbour via taxi as the transfer was full. That was fine by us as we were reimbursed for this. Everything was well organised and the guide explained the plan for day and provided updates so we were all clear. Everything ran on time and we enjoyed all the stops. It would have been nice to have had longer at Correlajo but we fit in a lot in the time that we had. The water was a bit choppy on the way back but we always enjoy taking a boat ride when we go away. The fishing village El Costillo was very quaint and we liked walking on the sand dunes. This trip is good value for money to see Fuerventura for the day! Thank you.
A lot of waiting around and walking to much time waiting around to go to the next place thought it was an island tour.
What a great trip. So lovely to host another island. Your guides were excellent and spoke good English. They were friendly and polite . Corralejo our first stop was great. Plenty of shops to browse including high end retailers. We stopped at a beach side cafe for a drink which was lovely. Next stop was the beautiful El Cotillo. Such an amazing laid back place. Had a fab meal in. Restaurant on the seafront. Next stop the sand dunes. So beautiful. Last stop the Banana Beach and beach. We had a drink in the Banana which was expensive and could not taste the alcohol. W e should have just walked to the beach. A great day but very long day. We were staying in Costa Teguise and were picked up at 7.50 and returned to our hotel at 19.30 approximately so and 11.5 hour day.
Great trip. Perfect balance of information & free time. Lovely Belgian tour guide slipping into various languages at ease. Nice boat trip, too. Only bad part came when the bus driver returning people to their Playa Blanca hotels after the return boat drove right past the Village where three of us wanted to go saying it wasn’t possible to for him to stop there, then stopping at the Hotel Playa about half a mile later. Doesn’t sound much but I’m disabled & the ladies, while fit, weren’t youngsters. Just seemed completely unreasonable. However, I’m uncertain if coaches doing the shuttling were actually part of the trip itself or completely separate but thought I’d mention it anyway.
The trip that we took was essentially just express ferry tickets across to the island. We had to make our own way to the ferry terminal and when we arrived, we were told that most of the fairies were booked up and we had to wait an hour and a half for the next one. The ferry ride itself was very enjoyable. When we arrived at the island, we had a lovely day as we had free time and nothing was scheduled. I have family on the island so we spent the time with them. I don’t really know what we would’ve done otherwise, they didn’t look to be that much to do in the port except for shops and the beach.
This tour was named delights of Fuerteventura .. heaven help the rest of the island if we saw the delights. Unless you like shopping in the usual kind of souvenir shops, Corralejo has little to offer.El Cotillo was better and we had a nice lunch there but it wasn't the lovely old village as described. Perhaps I should have done more research. The stop to walk up a sand dune was ok (the sandunes at Formby are just as nice) then the beach/swim stop a little further down the dune was nice but quick. Driver and guides all nice, although the speakers at the back of the coach weren't working properly, so we missed most of the commentary.
I was a bit disappointed with this tour. The first stop on the tour was the port of Corralejo. We were given two hours to 'explore' the town. The focus of the stop was the shopping in the town's main street. If you are not a shopper there isn't anything of interest to see. Next we headed over to the port of El Cortillo for lunch. There was a bit more to see and experience in the town, but still not that interesting. After lunch, we headed to the sand dunes and beach in the Corralejo National Park. There we killed time wandering around the beach area near to large resort hotels until it was time to head back to Corralejo for the ferry back to Lanzarote. I must mention our guides, Jens and Aurora, who did their best to make the tour interesting, but they didn't really have much to work with.
Not worth losing a day of your holiday. Better just staying in Corraleco and shopping . Taken to a fishing village on the northwest coast to see what?????
A little more time at the beach woud be nice. Furter good organised day, good job! We had a nice day and had I good impression of the island.
First sight of the dunes while travelling on the bus .it was amazing.the views from the beach afterwards also was amazing.
Took a boat trip to fuerteventura its been a few years since we've visited, half a day would have been sufficient walking around corrielejo but wasn't able to get the earlier boat back so made it a really long day, however it was lovely to visit, we found a small market up the top of the road , the shops are much the same but nice to have a wonder around them, on the seafront we found a small beach bar "can't remember the name " but the fresh smoothies were lovely and refreshing.
This tour was OK and useful. I was thinking to book a holiday to Fuerteventura so I'm glad I had the opportunity to view it beforehand therefore I decided I'm not going to book a holiday there.Lanzarote is much nicer,Fuerteventura is not for me.Neli(our tour guide)was nice and friendly. The journey was OK but a bit long.We had plenty of time to discover the 2 places,I think it was even too plenty.I had a delicious lunch in Olivo Corso, highly recommended. We headed to the sand dunes and the beach after,it was OK.I think the whole trip could be done in half day instead of the whole day.
We had a wonderful day with you guys in Fuerteventura. Your guide was excellent, he made our trip very special. I'd recommend this trip to anyone. A big thank you
It was a great trip. I went with my daughter and enjoyed a bit of everything, shopping, restaurants and cafes, sightseeing, swimming and just spending time together without having to plan the day. It would have been nice to have longer at the beach. Very well organized.
We got this ferry over to Fuerteventura as we have holiday in both Lanzarote and Fuerteventura for many years and have never done this ferry. It only cost 38.00 Euros each and thought that was a good price. We got the ticket on the day so no need to prebook. We waited at the port for the ferry to come and when it arrived noticed a few of the people getting off were a little off colour so was then dreading the crossing but to be honest it was fine i was walking around during the short crossing. Spent the day in Corralejo and then got to the port to get the ferry back. Spot on with time keeping and went upstairs to the top deck and took a seat. Well now i know why everyone looked a little white when they got off the ferry that morning because the trip back was just awful, I know its not the companies fault in anyway but maybe they could prewarn you, I was as white as a sheet when we finally got on dry land and so pleased i didnt have to do the drive back to our hotel as i just laid on the back seat and tried to sleep off the sickness. Saying this i would do it again but just double up on my sickness meds. Would recommend to anyone. PS Remember your Passport you need it to purchase your tickets.
My experience was fantastic. The program was executed perfectly, always on time. Clear information on every corner. Must be a reference in any sea activity starting from Lanzarote/Fuerteventura
We didn't have much time so decided that a day trip to Fuerteventura would be a good idea. We were glad to have picked this tour! We thought the amount of time in the various places was well-balanced, and there was a solid mix of more-touristy stuff and the calmer fishing village, which was a great stop for lunch. The guide was friendly with a good sense of humor. We would recommend the tour!
My daughter Isabella and I had the best day in Fuerteventra today from Lanzorte. We learned so much about the island thanks to our amazing tour guide Maddi. She was absolutely wonderful. The drivers also. First time I've visited and was overwhelmed with our trip. Thank you Maddi and team for making our holiday so special, creating memories we will always remember. 10 out of 10.
The tour coach was prompt and on schedule for pick-up, and the presence of a representative at the pick-up point added to our peace of mind. Despite a couple of hiccups, the tour left an indelible mark on us. The tour guide was highly knowledgeable and provided valuable insights throughout the journey, while also allowing ample free time at each location. Overall, it was an unforgettable adventure that we will treasure for years to come.
Got picked up at our hotel at 07.40 hrs and got dropped off at 20.15hrs. Not a trip for the faint hearted. Ferry took 30 mins to get to Fuertentventra but one hour return due to poor sea conditions. Went to the four attractions as advertised. All interesting apart from the beach visit before the ferry home. I would consider dropping the beach attraction and get an earlier ferry back to Lanzarote. Tour guide excellent. A good communicator in four languages. The Bus used to tour the island was in poor condition comfort wise.
We were staying in Costa Teguise so rather than faff about doing buses and ferry bookings for the extra cost it was worth it! The sand dunes national park was a highlight - my son wanted to go to another island and he loved the feeling of exploration! Miriam the guide was lovely and helpful
The guide was very polite and friendly. The excursion was great. Lovely sights to see. Plenty of time at each spot although it would have been nice to spend a little lonher at the beach. Overall a good day out.
Excellent value for money !! Great trip with lots of content, very good guide and staff all the way through. Highly recommended 👌 and the only change I would have made to such a perfect day was that I would have removed the sand dunes visit as it's not really needed.... Well Done Lineas Romero 👏👏 very professionally run and thank you....
The trip was awful, the guide’s Spanish accent made it hard to understand her. The fishing village was a non event, most of the day was boring, and to cap it all the bus driver left us miles away from our hotel. Go on this trip and be prepared to be disappointed.
The guide is excellent, funny and took very good care of us, only the tour itself, it’s little boring for me ….. no highlights…..
Good trip to see some sights off the beaten track.Tour guide was excellent and very friendly and informative.Would highly recommend this trip. The fort in el Coltillo is definitely a must with a restaurant right beside it looking out over the harbour to grab a cold drink or bite to eat
This trip involved a lot more walking than we expected and didn’t get to see as much as we’d liked- should have chosen the other trip available. We were dropped at the end of a very long high street at first stop- quite a hike to anywhere worth seeing like the prom and beach. The second fishing village again a walk to see the views; much nicer than first stop. A photo stop at a sand dune then time to swim on the fabulous beach was the saving grace. Lovely guide, just not so suitable for us as no interest in shopping!!!
Had a lovely day trip to Fuereventura on Saturday last. However I would recommend doing this on a Bus tour as you would see more of the Island with transport.
