The trip was a wonderful way to explore the northern regions of the island. There is so much diversity in comparison to the beaches or Las Palmas. Our guide was fun and helpful.
The tour was wonderful. Our guide was very friendly & knew all about the history etc . The Wine & Coffee tasting was really good. We were not rushed & had plenty time to explore. Recommend this tour.
The tour was fantastic! We learnt lots and it gave us the chance to visit areas of the North that we hadn’t been to before. Our guide was lovely and the bus was comfortable, picking us up right in the heart of Vegueta. Our only feedback is that it would have been nice to have a little more time at some of the earlier stops.
An excellent trip to two villages and then to wine, cheese and coffee tasting at a mountain valley restaurant, where they grow and roast their own coffee. The food tasting was an extra charge but at €7.50 each for three glasses of wine, coffee plus cheese, crackers and cake, it was a bargain. The guide Fran was very friendly and knowledgeable, and made the day very enjoyable. There wasn’t a lot at the final stop, Puerto de las Nieves, but it was a pleasant enough place. We couldn’t really see the spectacular cliffs there as all the views were so hazy: sand in the atmosphere from the Sahara, Fran said, and unfortunately you can’t do much about that.
Good overall trip. Guide very friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable. Could be improved by cutting out first stop which was from a car park viewing bananas ( going to a banana plantation in the afternoon) from the bus. This would allow more time at other stops. Overall a good day.
An excellent way to get to know the north of the island. We were able to visit different climatic zones of the island in a matter of hours, from the interesting villages around small volcanoes like Aruca (with its fascinating neo-gothic cathedral), to banana, coffee, grape and citrus plantations in the Berrazales valley. We tasted different cheeses accompanied by a glass of wine of our choice (7.50 eur p.p extra), and a delicious coffee and cake, all locally produced. And the town of Agaete with its fascinating scenery of cliffs and crystal clear waters. Completely recommended! especially thanks to the magnificent driver and Fran our fantastic guide, who was always full of knowledge on every subject and his humor kept us smiling.
Skilled driver and friendly tour guide. Lots of toilet stops factored in. Good to see areas in the north of the island briefly - Agaete, Figras, Aruca. Tasted 4 local cheese accompanied by a small glass of wine if your choice (red or white) -extra €7.50 per person. Delicious! Went to quickly look at a banana plantation, and visited an area where they grow oranges, coffee beans and some grapes. Tasted coffee and homemade cake there. Great for a brief intro to the north. Would recommend it!
Slow and steady , taking in the history and vibes of the village , Maria was a great tour guide who explained a lot in detail and was very helpful
This tour is different from the rest of the tours and is worth doing. Firgas and Arucas are quaint little towns and very beautiful. The banana plantation is a unique experience. We didn't do the optional cheese/wine tasting, so cannot comment on that experience. The coffee tasting is included and is a nice experience. The orchard in which this experience takes place is beautiful. We enjoyed taking pics in the fruit trees. The peaks of Agaete are impressive and so is the natural swimming pool on the beach.
Bananas, quaint villages, sweeping views, good guide. Improve: 1) clean the inside of the bus windows before picking up guests. 2) have the guide wear a cap or bright shirt so they are easy to find while wandering in towns. 3) Let guests know in advance if one of the locations on the itinerary is cancelled - in my case I really wanted to see Agaete and the west coast, but it was not possible because the town was having its big annual feast - common knowledge. I would have rescheduled to the next week.
Great value for money, nice pace and superb guide (I think his name was Fran)! Recommend also the cheese and wine tasting!
What a great day trip. Maria was an excellent guide. The banana farms and coffee plantation was such a highlight. And the view from the road was always breathtaking. Would recommend!
This was a well constructed tour with some interesting stops. Guide was good and very knowledgeable. Pity the weather had not been better.
Francisco was a wonderful guide! He was very informative and funny -- our tour was in both English and Spanish, which I appreciated because I am learning both languages.
Very great tour with diverse activities! Beautiful part of the island to discover! Very knowledgeable tour guide, lovely family own business for the wine and cheese stop and the coffee plantation! You wont regret choosing this tour!
Great day out with a brilliant guide. Celine was enthusiastic and energetic and made everyone feel special. She had really good knowledge of the area. The visit to the Finca was memorable - great to taste local wine. It was a great way to explore the North of the island - we visited many small towns and villages. If we had one criticism it would be that there was too much emphasis on churches. Highly recommended.
Just an excellent experience! Me and my boyfriend were really happy with this tour. Informative and fun + totally safe during the pandemic. All of us were wearing mask and using hand sanitizer constantly. Highly recommended!
We went on a taste of Gran Canaria tour which took us to the North. We tasted rum, wine , cheese and cake. The scenery in the north is very pretty.
The trip was pleasant but not as advertised. Our guide was good and clearly loved this island. Wine and coffee appeared to be an afterthought and briefly happened at the visit to a farm at the end of the day.
Thoroughly enjoyed the morning visits especially the wine and coffee farm. The lunchtime stop was a little rushed, but worthwhile. The afternoon was a little less interesting, but we were kept amused by the guides informative commentary.
Great weather ,small amount of people in group and best thing was Fran the guide He was lovely and seemed to know so many interesting facts and figures about everything! We were a family of 4 including 2 teenagers and even they managed to stop looking at their phones to become involved with all the places we visited! The tour lasted all day and was great value for money Would highly recommend
Just loved the humorous and relaxed way we received interesting info by Frans, - even when driving. Fantastic tour!
Very good all day tour of the northern part of Gran Canaria, the tour guide was very good and had huge amounts of information to divulge!!!! For me the farm tour in the Agaete Valley was the highlight with their own grown coffee, wine and snacks!! Would thoroughly recommend the tour.
Had a great day out visiting the Botanical gardens, wine and coffee tasting, very impressed with the coffee jam, we bought a jar! Lovely visits to Agaete and Fisgar, beautiful sights. Fran was very informative and we had a lovely group, nice that there were only a few of us, made it all the more intimate. If we hadn't done this trip, we wouldn't have seen so much of the north of the island.
A good day out, we had a small group and Fran was great. We visited the botanical gardens and Agaete Valley which is beautiful. Being able to taste the locally grown wine, coffee and fruit was an experience we will not forget!
Our trip was great, it exceeded expectiations. Thanks to the TRIPGRANCANARIA we have visited amazing place in Valle Ageate and this was one of the best places on the Canary Islans I visited. The guide Frank was so cool person :) He speaks good English, know so many interesting things to tell us and is very nice person. I will recommend to everyone
We had a lovely day with our tour guide in vegeta. We loved the information about the little streets, the history and the story's about wars, Columbus and Santa Ana. We took the extra tour to the Cathedral and were amazed about this architecture. The stories behind this little town are some spooky and amazing at the same time. If you are interested in culture and sightseeing it's a very nice tour.
Beautiful views of the Northern Gran Canaria visiting coffee and tropical fruits plantations, tasteful coffee enjoyed in the middle of the day trip. Also we visited Arucas, with beautiful St.John' cathedral, amazing municipal garden and the ancient european rum distillery Arehucas with interesting rum museum. We had a great holiday trip! Special thanks to our guide Frank !
This was our first tour on gran canaria. our guide was Alfonso, a sympathetic and funny local guide who made a professional job. he switched between english, german and spanish for us, so it was no problem to follow his explanations. We saw nice landscapes, interesting locations and got detailed answers of our questions about gran canaria. all together a good combination for a first impression of the north of gran canaria. thanks for this impressive and capable tour!

This was more expensive than the Gran Canaria Full-Day Tour but shorter and not as good, so I would definitely recommend the Full-Day Tour over this one.

There was a hotel pick-up although the actual pick-up times were a lot later than promised, we set off over half an hour late. The church and the Aboriginal archeological site were interesting. The coffee plantation was the same one that I had already visited on the Full-Day Tour, but on that tour, we got to taste coffee, wine and cheese at no extra cost - on this tour, we got coffee, the wine-tasting cost extra and there was no cheese. I notice that another reviewer said that food and drink were at no extra cost - that wasn't the case on the day I went.

The tour guide gave us all the information in both Spanish and English, but she didn't break it up and alternate often - she would speak in Spanish sometimes for several minutes so that all the English speakers were totally bored, then when she switched into English, the Spanish people on the trip talked amongst themselves so we often couldn't hear the guide, but she didn't do anything to stop them.

The lunch stop 9.50 extra was supposed to be for an hour but most people on the trip the tour guide said, the Spanish contingent were very late returning to the meeting point, which was annoying as those of us back on time could have used the extra time to enjoy ourselves as well, rather than standing by a bus stop with no shade for half an hour. Due to the various delays we were very late being dropped back at the hotel, which the tour guide said was ok because we were on holiday - ignoring the fact that some of us had made plans for after the trip.

If I hadn't gone on the Full-Day Tour already, this probably would have seemed better but in comparison I feel generous in giving it 3 stars.

This was our second tour in three days. The first with Franc was to the high points. No views because of pouring rain but he quickly adapted and gave us lots to see. This the second with Bruno was again relaxed, informative and well worth the money. Well done you two and Thankyou.

Pleasant trip, nice range of locations including three churches, banana plantation and rum distillery . Knowledgable guide with great location selected for luncheon. Weather not great but hardly anyone's fault

Fran was our guide for the day, and he did a great job of explaining the local history and connections to the United States. Our trip was Dec. 26 and a few of the normal stops were closed. the only

Fantastic tour. Franc our guide was so friendly and knowledgeable. He went out of his way to make the day really enjoyable for us. Would definitely recommend this tour to anyone staying in Las Palmas.

Bruno and Frans were FANTASTIC tour guides! They had a vast amount of historical knowledge of Gran Canaria and all of the villages we visited. They are incredibly inviting and create a comfortable fun-filled environment. We tasted local food and drink from each place at no cost and without fail, were impressed by the beauty of everything we saw.

A hotel show. Everything perfect from installation and staff and food and drinks. The people in physical activities and entertainment are out of it. They are wonderful.
The sights were really great-from the banana plantation -to the great cathedral. The winery and coffee farm were the highlight. Was really a great trip. Highly recommended.
Fantastic experience, allows you to discover an essential aspect of Gran Canaria: the production of high quality products: the cheese and coffee tasting helps to recognize them. In addition to visiting very beautiful places, ranging from the fertile valley to the beautiful port of Agaete The guide Fran is very professional and gives good details about each place visited and answers every doubt or question that helps you better understand the uniqueness of the area. I emphasize punctuality and that, being a small group, the day is taken advantage of. 100% recommended !
Es war ein wundervoller und fantastischer Tag. Unser Guide war super nett und rücksichtsvoll. Danke! 😘
A great experience with an excellent tour guide, the trip was amazing, you end up exhausted from visiting such beautiful places. Thank you
I loved it, the tour is very complete, the beautiful landscapes, local cuisine of good and cultural The stunning artisan cheeses And the very original coffee valley where one of the MasterChef shows was shot Our local guide was Bruno, great, knowledgeable about the area
I had a nice day with our guide who spoke perfect English. Driven around with an air-conditioned bus and visited different places, each with a nice story. The guide was local and knew how to tell about everything. Much more fun than doing nothing all day. See you next time! Paul
Le Tour était agréable et un peu différent de celui organisé par la concurrence «ExcursionsGranCanaria», mais un peu moins bien tout de même en ce qui concerne la visite du Nord de l'île.
Make the visit with the Francisco Guide, the activity starts on time, you can visit and appreciate the places with peace of mind, the information is shared by the guide in English and Spanish the size of the group allows the guide to interact with all tourists and give you a very pleasant attention!!! Logistics, organization and very good disposition!!!
With the visit of the Bandamakrater, Rum factory, Botanical Garden,Agaete with lunch and the coffee plantation we lift booked at TUI.The excursion was called So tastes Gran Canaria. We were completely satisfied. In the coffee plantation there are also orange trees that hang full of oranges, they are now just ripe. A totally great excursion
It is a very nice route that is very well organized. Punctuality, professionalism and friendliness. We loved the farm where we saw the coffee plantation, the valley of Agaete. It was a pleasure to taste the wines, cheese, coffee and excellent treatment.
We really enjoyed this tour. We loved the Jardin Canario, the valley of Agaete and the farm we visited, as well as the cliff of Faneque and the port of Las Nieves in Agaete. We also liked Firgas with its two avenues, the Canary Islands and Gran Canaria. And finally, the spectacular church of Arucas.
