We had an absolutely wonderful day with the most amazing guide, Belinda. From picking us up directly at our hotel, driving expertly up and down the very windy roads to the centre of this stunning island and through the beautiful villages and towns to finish up coming down the east coast and back to our hotel, she kept us thoroughly entertained, imparted a huge amount of knowledge of this island and left us appreciating Gran Canaria so much more. (There is so much more than the tourist resorts) She also kept our two teenagers engaged through out and it was the highlight of our stay which means a lot (especially since they were away from wifi all day!!). By taking a private tour we avoided most of the crowds, and got to spend more time in some of the towns and villages. Belinda never made us feel rushed and ensured we all felt happy with each place she took us to, including a wonderful lunch with a view. She had tailored the package to what we wanted to see and we will definitely book again on our return to tick off the rest of the island.

We had an amazing day with Sergiu! He is extremely knowledgeable with a great sense of humor which helped with our lively group. What made the day great was we were able to see all of the highlights of Gran Canaria without ever feeling rushed. Would highly recommend Epic Tours!

Believe me, you need a good driver on these roads! Lunch was perfection - in a cave with tapas and best view ever!! Saw so many things on the island of Gran Canaria. It was an amazing shore excursion to take. Our guides Sergio and Melinda were awesome. So knowledgeable and made it fun. Our driver Juan was great too on the winding and switchback road that a big bus with many people could not drive on as street narrow. Would recommend to all if going to Gran Canaria.

I spent three days with Naty seeing the north, south and central parts of the island. I provided a list of the places I wanted to visit and Naty made sure we visited them and much more. I have some mobility issues so that precluded me from doing any hiking or too much walking, but nevertheless I left feeling very satisfied and didn’t feel like I missed out on anything. Naty was a wonderful guide - he is very experienced and knowledgeable and clearly has an infectious passion for the island. He went to great lengths to be sure I had the best experience - at one point a road to one of the sights I wanted to see was closed - he called the local police to see if we could access it another way - and they gave us permission to do so! He really went above and beyond. It was an excellent experience.

Sergio was very personable and an excellent guide. Not only a professional photographer but a delightful guide to showcase Las Palmas. The trip took us all over the island and a journey through the mountain giving us a very different perspective of what Gran Canaria offers. It was a memorable experience and highly recommended.

Sergiu took excellent care of my husband and me in a marvelous Gran Canaria adventure. I feel like we visited 3 different countries in one day, as he showed us eye-popping sights in the North, Center and South of the island. Even during lunch in the cave, we felt the view was changing minute-to-minute and we moved the “show”. Lunch at the cave moved reasonably priced for lots of delicious food. Sergiu helped us choose local specialties like pork ribs, Canary potatoes, sausage and artisanal cheese. Sergiu is an excellent photographer and he took lots of fabulous photos of my husband and me. That alone was a valuable service. He even helped me with my photo techniques both in posing and in composing. He is friendly and kind. He gave us great service with attention to detail.

Sergio was excellent and very helpful. He is a great driver. He gave us a great trip and showed us lovely scenery all the way. He is chatty.

Wow! Where do I begin! From the time Sergiu picked us up to the time he dropped us off everything was amazing. Sergiu showed us incredible scenery, quaint villages, and set up an unforgettable lunch. He was efficient, knowledgeable, friendly and could not have been more accommodating. Add to that the fact that he took many photos of us along the way that he gave us to document our tour. We could not have imagine a better way to see Gran Canaria! We had the BEST time and can’t wait to go back! We can’t recommend this tour strongly enough.

We were staying in the Baobab resort and had just finished a nice boat tour 2 days earlier. Our expectations where high since we cancelled a jeep tour the day earlier and wanted to have a more comprehensive view of the magnificent scenery and culture of Gran Canaria at short notice. Sergio is a natural professional, both in terms of his knowledge of the Island and its history, but he can also relate this to other regions. I was genuinely interested in all he had to say, and having to travel with two young teenage boys, he always tried to keep them interested. The many stops made it a pleasure to absorb the mountains and valleys and hike towards the lakes. In addition, as a professional photographer, Sergiu makes fabulous pictures that capture the mood of his guests as they take in the magnificent views. We are planning to come back and then we will book something north shore. Very recommendable, and VIP in all aspects!

Today we had such an exceptionally wonderful experience traveling around Gran Canaria!! With Sergiu as our guide with whom we had such great connection with right from the start. We saw the most beautiful iconic scenery of the island, had an amazing lunch at a restaurant with a spectacular view. We learned a lot about the island without being overloaded with information. Sergiu is also a photographer and he made beautiful pictures of us. Such a fantastic experience and having great conversations in the meantime. This is a day we will never ever forget!

My son and I had a great experience! Our guide Sergiu was awesome, very helpful and informative! He took beautiful photos of my son and I along the way and for lunch brought us to an amazing restaurant perched in a cave on the side of the mountain with a breathtaking view. Words can not begin to express how special this tour was! First, Naty picked us up at our hotel promptly. We had a different idea of how we wanted to see the island snd he accommodated us and we had such a great experience! We saw Gran Canaria through the eyes of a local. Serji was awesome! It was like traveling around with a good, knowledgeable friend! We booked it because the other tours were already full - and we're so glad we did the private tour - we would happily spend the money again!!! There wasn't a question he couldn't answer (and we asked a lot!!), he was personable and fun to hang out with for the day. Hr also loves photography, so he will take photos on his camera and text them to you - along with patiently taking tons of photos with our phones!! The photo stops were great - and the lunch stop at the cave was a lifetime memory!!! We are glad we didn't drive - and he was an excellent driver on the winding roads. We felt very safe with him. We can't say enough good things about him and our non-rushed day together - except if we had the chance to do it again and could do one of the cheaper small group trips - we wouldn't. Serji was worth every penny and you won't regret a minute - it truly was a highlight of our teo weeks in Spain and Morocco trip!!

Every place we stopped, he would ensure to take us to a spot that most tourists didn’t know about to get us the best photos and sights imaginable. The whole trip was excellent, a great experience of a large portion of the island. Our guide was professional, knowledgeable & friendly.

Sergiu collected us in a lovely car and made us feel welcome instantly. He asked if there was anywhere specific we wanted to see which there was not, so he took us to the most beautiful places. We saw all of the places that you wouldn’t as a normal tourist, lunch in the cave with the most spectacular view was the highlight. He’s a great guy with fantastic knowledge, You won’t be disappointed. We also felt safer in the pandemic with a personal tour - And had some wonderful photos taken as part of the day.

My husband and I greatly enjoyed our day with Sergui! Prior to booking the trip, Sergui answered all my questions and more to plan the best day of the whole island without repeating a few spots we had already seen. Great day and we’ll worth the cost! Sergiu picked us up on time at our resort and we were off to see the island. He explained a lot of the landscape and history of the island during the entire tour and made stops in different locations with views or villages that we would have never known existed without going. We had asked to go to lunch and the restaurant was spectacular. On the side of a mountain, in several caves with incredible views and even better food. Sergiu is great at his job! Very professional, his English is great and also took photos of us while checking things out. I highly recommend reaching out and having him show you what Gran Canaria has to offer.

I had a perfect first touch of Gran Canaria as a solo traveller. I was greatly helped that he spoke Romanian, because I don't speak Spanish. I asked him to split a day tour and make it in 2 days, since I needed to explore the isle on my own pace. Not only that he agreed, but he also was so friendly and helpful, and still professional. I was surprised to see his photographer skills. During this tour he made me understand some basic rules in making smart photography, rather than making many useless photos. I can tell I met a very flexible and absolutely nice guy who knows so many things about Gran Canaria and the other Canary isles. He got me to some breathtaking places. I myself lived in Tenerife for several months, but I don‘t know why, now that I saw Gran Canaria through his eyes, I am very tempted to like this isle more. He got his camera and made some really epic photos, so fast, so detailed. He has a very keen eye for capturing details. I definitely recommend Sergiu to anyone who wants to discover Gran Canaria for the first time without renting a car. Not only that you have the chance to use your time in a wise way, but it‘s also cheaper than renting a car, and you really get to see many things you wouldn‘t do on your own. Photography, videography, driving are just some of his skills who makes him the perfect tour guide. If you choose him, you won't regret and won't forget what you will see. Top! Full 5 stars ***** We booked a day tour with Sergio as a family. Two days before the tour, Sergio introduced himself personally by email and asked us about our preferences and wishes. The private tour of the island was scheduled for 6-7 hours. We had already visited the typical tourist tours of Gran Canaria in the past and were curious to see what Sergio can show us in addition. Result: We were able to experience the true beauty and overwhelming views of the island on this day and were absolutely thrilled. We saw so many fantastic beautiful spots and fell in love with the island all over again. We were so overwhelmed that we didn't even notice that the tour ended up being 9 hours. Sergio took a lot of nice photos on the side. From the landscape - but what was even better: he also took pictures of us as a family and just gave them to us the next day. So we have wonderful memories of a wonderful day with a very friendly and charming guide. Thank you Sergio!

Our VIP tour of Gran Canaria was perfect from start to finish. Sergiu is a real pro and a great photographer. When you book this tour you are not just getting a brilliant tour of the island, but you will finish the day with an unforgettable portfolio of photographs. Imagine what you would pay for a professional photographer to take holiday photos of you for one day, and with this tour you get transportation and a charming knowledgeable guide too. This would be a bargain at 4 times this price. Pick up was prompt at our hotel in Las Palmas, we had agreed an itinerary and chosen our soft drinks, and we headed to the south for a walk in the dunes. We then followed a route back north where we visited 2 or 3 Canarian villages, spectacular views of the island and even lunch in a restaurant carved out of the cliffs. Our tour went on for longer than we planned but we were delighted we could see more. Sergiu didnt complain once despite the long day and retained his enthusiasm for showing us the island. Within 24 hours of our return to the hotel we had a link to download all of our wonderful photos - the perfect memory of the perfect tour of the island. We cant recommend Sergiu enough - this is the pinnacle of VIP tours.

Other than Gran Canaria, We've been to 3 other Canary Islands over the years, and on each island we have taken a bus tour of the points of interest and attractions. Due to the Covid-19 situation, many of these tours were simply not operating in Gran Canaria. and as we still wanted to explore the island we looked at renting a car and driving around ourselves. Just as we were about to do that, we stumbled upon this VIP tour, and we were able to book at short notice. I'm so glad we did, as it was an unforgettable day. Sergiu was really friendly when he picked us up from the hotel, and made sure the kids were comfortable before setting off. We had a few ideas where we wanted to go, and he made sure these were included in the tour. He had an extensive list of suggestions and we agreed an agenda of how the day would pan out. I have to say Sergui was so knowledgeable about the Island history, culture, flora and fauna, and was able to explain everything in such great detail. My kids still talk about some of the things we saw, and they had such a great time. We were able to take in a local market, understand the different architecture in regions of the island, and behold some of the most incredible views from the island peak. For lunch we were taken to an absolutely amazing restaurant built into the mountainside with a breathtaking view over canyons below. The food was amazing, and with some great local dishes. Moreover, Sergiu is a terrific photographer. He was able to get over 100 brilliant shots of the sights and our family all together. This simply would not be something possible if we'd chosen to rent a car, or even use a traditional bus tour company. I simply cannot recommend this trip highly enough. Sergui was very knowledgeable and showed us an interesting tour of the island. We asked to stay on straight roads since one person in our group gets carsick. It was a lovely day - we especially enjoyed the fruits and peacocks in the botanical gardens.

A great tour. Sergiu is extremely flexible and tries to fit as many highlights as possible. He was on time, we discussed a plan for the day and off we went. We visited Arucas and the beautiful church and streets, then Firgas with the tiled walls and the islands of the canaries along the street. Then we went to Aguate and walked around and explored the botanic gardens, then on to a coffee plantation where we had a tour and did some tasting. After that we went to Artenara and for a great lunch in a cave overlooking the roque nubla. After that we drove to a viewpoint overlooking to roque nubla at sunset which was stunning. The day lasted 12 hours in total and was very good value for money. Sergiu stops at every opportunity whenever there is something to see, he is also very knowledgable about the island and explains everything as he drives along. We got loads of great photos of Gran Canaria and it’s stunning landscapes, we also look forward to seeing those taken by Sergiu of which he must have taken about 500. All in all a perfect day and highly recommended

A very fruitful and awesome day tour with Sergiu. The itinerary was fully customized to suit our interests and Sergiu even brought us to the hidden gems of Gran Canaria, away from the usual touristic sites and tourist crowd. A photography enthusiast, Sergiu knew exactly which spot to capture nice pictures to leave great memory for our trip. As we only had very limited time in Gran Canaria, Sergiu had done such great job in covering different aspects of Gran Canaria. We now have a fuller picture of what Gran Canaria has to offer, other than just beach and ocean! Highly recommended if you are in Gran Canaria.

We thoroughly enjoyed a full day tour of Gran Canaria island visiting most of the upper / North part of the island. Our driver and guide Sergiu was a great part of our experience...a real gentleman, very knowledgeable and a delightful host. We would never have seen the many different climate zones of the islands and beautiful flora and terrain of each area from a bus or rental car. The tour is well worth the price and we will venture South our next trip!!

The driver(Sergiu) took us around the island showing us the shores and beaches. He drove us into the interior of the island and showed us the authentic life of the islanders. He stopped as often as necessary to give us the possibility of seeing the beautiful and varied landscapes and information about them. The driver is very knowledgeable and showed genuine interest in his profession. We highly recommend this company.

We had great fun traveling all around the island with Sergiu and his comfortable Audi limousine on a full day excursion. We made several stops on our way from the south along the west coast to the north and back over the mountains. Along the way we could try local tapas, snacks and rum. We got to know Sergiu as a great guy with a broad knowledge about all aspects of the Canary Islands. It truly is a private individualy planned tour.

We had a wonderful time with Sergiu, who arrived right on time at our hotel and did his very best to give us a unique and unforgettable day experiencing the real Gran Canaria. We had a couple of special requests regarding places we wanted to see and our interest in flora and fauna – Sergiu made a special itinerary for our trip even though it meant that the tour vastly exceeded the time span of the “standard itinerary” for the tour. We had many wonderful experiences during our day with Sergiu but the two that stand out are the idyllic and wondrous cave village Barranco de guayadeque and an absolutely breathtaking sunset over Roque Nublo with the volcano Teide (on Tenerife) in background. After this amazing tour we could never again take one of the commercial bus tours! If you want a unique insight to Gran Canaria this is the way to go!

Sergio is a fantastic, fascinating guide and he adapted this trip (last minute) to our family, resulting in a great experience, definitely recommended!
