Costa Adeje Tuk Tuk Tour

Great little trip round Costa Adeje/Duque, including a stop in La Caleta. Ricky was a great driver/host, lots of info and took some great photos of us all.

Used to be good, did it a few years ago and actually went to places of interest and learnt something. Now consists of a ride to a old village along which shopping centres and hotels are pointed out alongside a couple of interesting buildings as you go past. 10 mins the village which was literally time to buy a overpriced warm can of coke and walk 50ft from the drop off then back, mostly via highway to be dropped off. Can't expect much from an hour but this was complete waste of time and money.

Nando was very friendly, knowledgeable and informative on the drive. We had a comprehensive trip around the area, thank you. Probably not in Nando’s control but the cost of over £75 for two people for 50 minutes seemed rather steep.

Our tuktuk experience was absolutely amazing. The driver was very friendly and accomodating. He was friendly and made my son (6years old) feel comfortable along the tour. He spoke good english and explained all the stop and tourist spots, very knowledgeable.

This tour is really good value for money and the tour guide was really informative about the places we went.. Having read some previous comments, and I know it’s easier said than done, a microphone / speakers would be of great benefit because it was windy on the day we did the tour and there were times we really struggled to hear what the guide was saying.. We book a private tour meaning there were only 3 of us in the Tuk Tuk instead of 6..be mindful that even with the 3 of us it was quite cramped so I can only imagine what it would be like with 6 adults..just something to consider..

Adam was great fun very informative really enjoyed our experience. Visited the areas in the 1 hour tour stopped for photos.

As our first time in CA, we booked the 2 hour tour to explore and get our baring's. Great fun, excellent way to learn about the area and get to know the town, the guide was knowledgeable and made the whole trip fun and informative. Highly recommend - thank you Adam.

Lovely 1 hour tuk tuk tour with Marco. Perfect for young kids, we had two 6 year olds and a baby and right amount of time for their attention span. Marco was friendly, funny and informative. Highly recommend for a fun activity with the family.

Just thought there might be one or two more stops on Tour But did get a generalised view of the area. Thanks

Marcos was our guide and told us about many different areas of this tourist area. Good information but a little hard to understand as he was facing front and there was some outside noise. Very friendly and interesting.

We decided to book an evening ride phone booking and perfectly organised .once again so impressive to find the Driver Guide very knowledgeable and friendly . Took time to stop and explain . Must must for everyone .

We had such a brilliant time on this tuk tuk tour! Our guide, Jamie, was absolutely fantastic — friendly, funny, and full of knowledge. He spoke excellent English and kept asking us questions, making the whole experience feel really personal. His driving was excellent and we felt completely safe the whole time. Jamie knew so much about the history of the area and could answer every question we had. One of the highlights was stopping in a beautiful fishing village where we could take photos — it was absolutely stunning. We left with smiles on our faces and so many great memories. Highly recommend this tour and especially Jamie!

We pre-booked and paid for our private Tuk Tuk ride using the Viator app. Our driver took us around Costa Adeje with a stop off at the gorgeous village of La Caleta where we had a cocktail overlooking the natural swimming pools. Such an informative and fun way to see the main sights like the posh shopping centre, a glimpse of playa del Duque and the gorgeous hotels in the area. I highly recommend !

Amazing! Jamie was a wonderful tour guide and so knowledgeable about the area. We've been coming to Tenerife and the Costa Adeje area for 20 years now and thought we knew all about the area - soon learned that we didn't 😂. Did the two hour trip which took us up the hill and then along to La Caleta. We had a private tour which allowed us to chat with Jamie and ask questions. Would definitely recommend to anyone

A good way to see the surrounding area. The guide was very good and informative, could have done with a microphone as it was difficult to hear in smell parts.

I was not very impressed with this Tuk Tuk Tour, although our guide was very pleasant, we were picked up at 2.10pm as opposed to 2pm, we then only had one stop where we alighted the Tuk Tuk for about 10 minutes, it was difficult to hear what was being said because of the traffic noise, we were continually asking the guide to speak louder, and finally, we were dropped back at 2.45pm, albeit at the Land Train stop which we requested, which was 3 minutes from our intended drop off point, so, in effect, the tour would have lasted for a total of 38 minutes and not the hour we had paid for, it was disappointing to say the least, when we returned, we jumped on the Land Train, which cost €9 for 50 minutes and was far better value for money, I would not recommend the Tuk Tuk trip we took, but would definitely recommend the Land Train.

Lara was our tour guide and she went above and beyond! She was so knowledgeable about the area and gave us recommendations for places to eat when we asked. We did the Adeje private tour. We went up to La Caleta where we had time to walk around the waters edge and then rode back to our pickup point. It was such fun!

We were greeted by our tour guide Benjamin with a warm welcome, he got us settled into the tuktuk and ensured we were all belted up and ready for the journey. We set off and his knowledge and passion about the island was clearly evident. He took time to point out some of the amazing architecture as we travelled along, we stopped off and he gave us some recommendations for eating, based on our dietary choices. He was fully engaged with us all, got to know a bit about us and chatted about how today was his anniversary of being on the island for 12 years as we had told him we were here to celebrate a birthday for one of our group. He made the whole tour interesting, funny and enjoyable and took pictures of us all sitting in the tuktuk before we finished the tour. He is a credit to the company and hope he gets back to visit his grandparents in Austria soon.

Really good lady driver who was very informative. For 2 older ladies we had a bit of trouble getting onto the tuk tuk but enjoyed it

Nando was fun and knowledgeable about the area. We only wish we had booked for 2 hours so we could see both parts along the coast.

A fun and pleasant way to spend an hour, seeing the local sights from La Caleta to the hustle and bustle of Torviscas, and learning some of the local history along the way. Nando was very patient with my husband who struggled to get in and out of the tuk tuk due to mobility issues. It would have been very cramped if we had shared with anybody else so we were glad we booked the private tour, even though it was quite expensive. Clearer instructions about finding the tuk tuk meeting place would have been helpful as we waited on the wrong side of the road by the Best Jacaranda. Otherwise everything was excellent.

Enjoyed the time at the beach. Benjamin was our guide - extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. Really looked after us. A great tour for those looking for something quick as you pass by the main attractions.

We had a great time last night. Our private tour guide was lovely and very helpful with my disabled husband,showed us many lovely sights.

Worth every penny!! We had the lovely Benjamin taking us on a 2 hour tour round Costa Adeja. He was funny, very informative/knowledgable and we saw plenty of places we would have never seen or known about. We had a complimentary drink thrown in too, which was a nice surprise and nice touch. You can choose from a small soft drink or a small beer. Honestly if you want to see more of Adeje, I highly recommend this company for your Tuk Tuk tour. You won’t be disappointed. My husband and I took the ride and Benjamin was prompt and communicated clearly as well. He stopped at intervals to explain in details the architecture and history of the town, and was not in a hurry for us to take pictures. It was a beautiful ride. I will recommend this to anyone.

Lovely one hour tour around Costa adeje with Nando, who was very knowledgeable and gave us some great information, we have Been to costa adeje numerous times but have never been into La caleta or Del Duque which was both nice to look around and we got some amazing photos, was most definitely worth what we paid

Well worth the money and my wife and daughter also loved the experience.We booked the 2 hour tour and it was comfy seats and great views along the way. Our tour guide/driver even got stopped for a breathalyser check by police and that was a giggle to watch but got the all clear. Would recommend.

We had an amazing experience with Angelo today, he is a first class driver with so much local knowledge. He explained everything from start to finish it made our holiday. It was the best trip we have ever done we can’t thank him enough

Had a great time today doing this trip Our host was funny, welcoming and knowledgeable of the local area too! We did an hour and paid to have a private trip of which I’d recommend The only complaint from us is that we should of done a 2 hour trip rather than the hour All in all we would highly recommend With thanks from the Montgomery Family

We booked this on line after seeing the tour on knightstiders vlog and so glad we did . Easy to book on line pick up point easy to to find Costa Adeje . Benjamin was amazing start to finish his knowledge on the tour was amazing and funny as well gave us so much in depth knowledge of area loved the stop off in La Caleta where we took photos he shared more of his knowledge. Tuk tuk great loved the fun on the horn . When bsck in Tenerife wouid do again the other tour . Great way to spend a hour highly recommend

A fun Tuk Tuk ride to view some areas we wouldn’t have walked to. It was nice to get the breeze and learn a few facts. The guide was lovely and friendly.

Great tour, knowledgeable and freindly guide. We were a family of four and did the one hour tour. Great introduction to Adeje. Great fun doing it in an electric Tuk Tuk which is nice and quiet.

We had a really great time and thoroughly enjoyed our Tuk Tuk tour. Mar, our Tour Guide, was very welcoming and friendly, and genuinely knowledgeable about the local area, pointing out things of interest, plus the best restaurants and beaches. Highly recommended.

We booked a double tour on a private TukTuk and it turned out to be a wonderful way to start the holiday. The separate 1 hr tours seemed a little short so we went with both for just under 2 hrs - this was a more complete experience. I recommend taking the tour early on your holiday (we did it first thing on Day 2) as you will see and hear a lot of useful things for the rest of your stay. Our guide, Nando, was superb. He was charming, interesting and funny. My 6 yr old daughter had a great time and it was down to Nando making the tour such a relaxing ride. He knew a lot about the places of interest but also life on the island generally and with his own travelling background he made for an excellent host. Afterwards my daughter asked if we could take the Tuk Tuk to go elsewhere on the holiday! Id also suggest booking the private tour ahead of sharing, its much more fun and the offer of a pick up from the hotel was much appreciated.

What an amazing way to see the town, highly recommended. We were slightly late because the taxi dropped us off at the address provided (Tuk Tuk Sweet Tours Tenerife Avenida de Bruselas, 4 38679 Costa Adeje) the pick up spot was hotel Jacarand which was a short walk but you may need directions or google maps. However, the Tour waited for us and arranged a pick by an guide by the name of Nando. He was extremely knowlegable of the town, took us to the best spot and gave a lot of history about the island. A must do

Nice Guide! Possible in common languages! Time flies fast. Would book again ! Most interesting the residence where Michael Jackson had his holiday.

Decided to try this as a different way of sight seeing Tuktuk arrived right on time- guide extremely friendly and helpful right from the get go Tour - although quite windy - was fun Driver (Marielle think her name was) very knowledgeable of the area taking time to stop and show points of interest - along with some other useful info for our holiday Tuktuk bit bumpy at times but still fun trip

Our guide Benjamin from Austria. This was our third tour this week with Viator and he was a star. Even though we have been to this area lots of times he was able to answer all our questions and gave us lots of interesting info.

Brilliant tour! Our guide, Mer was friendly, funny and informative and we loved it. We saw parts of Tenerife we did not expect to see and La Caleta was the highlight. Beautiful bay with proper restaurants with local food. No hawkers or loud bars just lovely food excellent service and a beautiful location. Thank you Mer for the great trip, we loved the horns! And for showing us the real Tenerife. Definitely recommend this trip
