Canyoning With Waterfalls In The Rainforest - Small Groups ツ

We have never been canyoning before, and were excited to try. We went as a couple as part of a bigger group. It was smooth from the start, with pickup from hotel, drive to the location, and good equipment. We had a good safety briefing from our guide Victor. He was great, both super friendly and fun, whilst also being very strict about safety, and with so much local knowledge. The canyoning itself was fantastic! Three abseils, multiple slides, and trekking down the river. It was really adventurous and fun, without being super challenging. I also felt like we were being environmentally conscious, which is important to us. I look forward to seeing the pictures and videos taken on the tour by Victor with a go pro. These are all included in the price. The tour was gay friendly and we felt very welcome. I would recommend bringing very grippy strong sports shoes (they will be completely wet in the river and you will need to do a rocky hike to get there), a small towel, water, snacks, and a change of dry clothes. All this information was given to us in advance, communication was great by whatsapp and email. Had an excellent time and would absolutely do it again, or another one of their activities! Thank you!

It was mindblowing!! The guide, Daylos, was incredible, very knowledgeable, very passionate and willing to share the history and culture of Islands and its people. So we not only learnt about calderas, but we now know and understand island much better. Believe!!!

It was great, we sailed down through jungle and small waterfalls, and Victor was an amazing guide. Even without climbing experience is doable. Loved it!!!!

I had an incredible experience on the Volcano Heart Tour in Gran Canaria with Climbo. Originally, my girlfriend and I had planned to join the tour together, but because she is pregnant, she unfortunately wasn't able to participate. I joined the tour on my own, but thanks to the friendly guide and the wonderful group of fellow travelers, I never felt alone. The atmosphere throughout the day was relaxed, welcoming, and a lot of fun. From the very beginning, the communication was excellent. Before the tour, the team contacted us to organize the pick-up location, dietary preferences, and other details. I was particularly impressed by how carefully they accommodated dietary requirements and food allergies, making sure everyone could enjoy the local food tasting safely and comfortably. A few days before the tour, we were informed that access to the Roque Nublo hiking trail had been closed due to official forest fire precautions. While this was of course disappointing, Climbo handled the situation professionally and kept everyone well informed. The alternative itinerary turned out to be fantastic and showed how well organized the company is. The day included beautiful stops at Caldera de Bandama, Cruz de Tejeda, the charming village of Tejeda, a delicious local products tasting, and Cuevas del Rey. The highlight for me was the sunset from Pico de las Nieves, which offered absolutely breathtaking views across the island. Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly passionate about Gran Canaria. The explanations about the island's volcanic landscape, history, and culture made the experience much more meaningful than a typical sightseeing tour. Even though my girlfriend couldn't join me, I came back with great memories, beautiful photos, and a much deeper appreciation for Gran Canaria. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to experience the island's stunning landscapes, local culture, and warm hospitality. Highly recommended!

Well organized, fun and interesting tour.

Honestly I was not sure what to expect as I booked this experience on a whim. I’m so glad I did. Not only did I go to a locals’ beach but got to experience such beautiful landscapes- red canyon and la fortaleza. Celeste was an amazing guide- enthusiastic, knowledgeable and a great driver! Highly recommend!!

Great expirince, worth every penny. Consider this as a private excursion (max 8 people) with all attention focused on you. You can ask questions, request stops, ask to make photo. The level of organisation and guide is amazing. Beautiful great places that everyone needs to see. Sunset was incredible, Santorini is not even close to the beauty and amazing view, it's hard to breathe when you see this.

Lovely day, adapted itinerary with island under heat alert but still really good day actually very nice that it was less strenuous but still got to see all the amazing bits of island. Guides David and Dilios were both really friendly and we got to ask them so many questions they made everything really clear and we felt really comfortable in their care

We had an incredible experience with Stefano by far the best guide we’ve ever had. He takes the time to explain the island’s history and flora, all with great energy and a fantastic sense of humor. The tour is also perfectly paced, never rushed, which gives you plenty of time to fully enjoy each stop. From the hotel pick-up to lunch and the drop-off at the end of the day, everything was perfectly organized. A huge thank you to Stefano for making this such a memorable day. It was absolutely worth every penny!

I had such a good time with Viktor on Monday that I booked this second trip. It was amazing! The perfect amount of challenge and everything we needed was provided.

Very good I would do again. Very lengthy and nice walks down the river seeing different spots. Good length of time not too long not too short. Would recommend to people above the ages of 14 as it can be quite physically demanding.

Excellent experience with tour guide David. There was a slight itinerary change due to external factors but the alternative option was still great. David's knowledge of the area and history of it was second to none. Highly recommend giving Climbo a day if you happen to be in the area.

Danny was a superb guide! Really, knowledgeable, enthusiastic and charming. Made the whole trip even more enjoyable. The sunset we got at the end of the trip was one of the best I've ever seen! You definitely need some warm clothes for the sunset at the end but it is so so worth it! 10/10 would recommend

It was a very nice trip, most impressive was the walk in the Red Canyon and later by Fortaleza. Then we get the opportunity to taste local products like cactus marmelade and other stuff. It was nice and relaxed. Leaders were David en Daniel

Excellent tour with David, totally recommended

We booked the rainforest tour several weeks before our holiday. Unfortunately just before we arrived, Gran Canaria was hit by storm Teresa which caused serious issues for the island. We were contacted by the Climbo team a couple of days before, telling us that because of the storm damage they had been forced to create a new itinery and would we be happy with this. We agreed and whilst we were disappointed not to be seeing the rainforest, the activities laid on for us instead proved to be without doubt the most enjoyable excursion we have ever done (and we've done a lot!). Our guide for the day was Victor and from the moment he picked us up he was such good company and gave us lots of really interesting information about everything with real passion and in a really fun way. In total there were 13 of us and there was such bond between us by the end of the day that we all felt like friends and again that was all thanks to Victor. One of the alternative stops was Banana World (which we had wanted to do as a separate trip anyway) and this was really interesting. We also stopped at a really nice little restaurant for a light lunch all seated round a big table and the proprietors were so welcoming too. We cannot recommend this excursion or the Climbo team enough and we truly felt it had far exceeded our expectations so thank you to the team and those who shared this special day with us.

Went on the Rain Forest tour with Climbo company. I enjoyed the day. We visited a banana 🍌 and coffee ☕️ plantation. Had a little walk in the forest and finished off by a seaside town, with great views of the surrounding mountains ⛰️

Our family had a fantastic day. The weather did not cooperate with the original plan for a hike. There alternative plan was just as good if not better in some ways. Climbing over rocks to view inside caves was a big hit with us all. Especially with the younger generation. Our guides were very attentive to ensure no one felt unsafe. The meal that came with the day was very good.

Wonderful tour very punctual pick up and friendly knowledgable driver and tour guide of local history and terrain. The lunchtime menu as part of the package was excellent. I would have liked more hiking trails for say 90 minutes as this was less than that with more stop and guiding information though still excellent so just a personal opinion and not al all a negative of the whole experience.

Victor was a superb guide throughout the ravine, and the ab sailing was really good fun. For my wife and I, it was our first time Canyoning.. but the route was superb and the right amount of thrilling for someone who isn't a fan of heights!

My girlfriend and I had an amazing day on the vulcano heart tour. Our tourguides David and Victor were very enthusiastic and passionate, giving us a lot of information about the vulcanos and plants while keeping it light and amusing. We had a good hike to Roque Nublo and stopped at a few spots for amazing panoramic views, ending the day on the top of Pico de las Nieves, where the sunset was truly the most beautiful we had ever seen. thankyou Climbo and most of all David and Victor for this day!

The full day tour was very good value for money. We liked that it was a small group tour and we saw and learned about the real Gran Canaria not just the tourist resorts. We didn't like waiting for the sunset as it was very cold and windy. It didn't spoil the day out though. Climbo staff - Celeste and Angelica did an amazing job. They were full of enthusiasm and encouragement.
