Ines and Juanjo did a fantastic job! We've been to Barranco de las Vacas pretty early and had the pleasure of being almost alone at the spot with our group. It was also very interesting to see how the first Canarians lived on the island and developed their lives over thousands of years. We've received a lot of relevant historical background during the trip, without getting bored (which can sometimes be very challenging 😅). I would highly recommend this tour!

I'm so glad I did this trip....the guides were really fun and provided an interesting and informative experience. Loved the small group journey, rather than a large coach tour (in fact a large coach wouldn't have been able to get where we went!) and the guides took the time to remember our names and where we were from. Ines and Juanjo are authentic guides who have clearly put a lot of thought into creating their tour. Highly recommended!

We had an absolutely fantastic morning trip with Sky Rebels Company, run by the wonderful Ines and Juan. From start to finish, the experience exceeded all expectations. They took us to beautiful, off-the-beaten-track locations that we would never have discovered on our own, which made the trip feel really special and unique. Both Ines and Juan were incredibly knowledgeable and clearly passionate about what they do. They shared interesting insights throughout, which added so much depth to the experience. The transport was also very comfortable, making the whole journey relaxed and enjoyable. Overall, it was a brilliantly organised trip with a personal touch. I would highly recommend Sky Rebels Company to anyone looking for something a little different and truly memorable.

Our trip with Sky Rebels felt like time-travel in their charming van Lupita, and even more like a warm family excursion. They led us through untouched villages, living traditions, and hidden landscapes far from tourist crowds. With local music, stories, and genuine kindness, Gran Canaria revealed its true, soulful heart. An authentic experience we’d repeat in a second.

Our tour was FANTASTIC! Inez and Juango were so informative and entertaining for the entire tour. They call you familia and truly make you feel that way. We had a couple ladies on our tour that were more challenged with the short hike on rocky path, but. They both persevered and with help from our guides, everyone had a wonderful time! They even made lunch for us which included some of the best fresh fruit ever! JUST DO IT!

The Tour guides were magnificent. They treated us (6 people) like team (family). Well prepared, passionate about their work, punctual, extremely kind and helpful. The whole trip was well organised. We saw beautiful views, got plenty of historical information but presented in interesting way. And special thanks for having the opportunity to see Barranco de las Vacas without other visitors (apart from our group of course). We could take super photos :). Thank You very much.

Very well organised and everything ran to schedule. We were made to feel very welcome and part of the family. This tour was a small group of 6, which made everything very personal. The whole tour took around 5 hours and this was just about right for us. Thank you for showing us a few hidden gems that were off the beaten track. Would definitely recommend!

This trip was the best we had since a long time, so interesting and fun! Ines and Juanjo were the friendliest, we became a family for 4 hours. Our trip to the caves were amazing. The history of Gran Canaria dating back from 2000 years to 1000 years to a beautiful villiage were Canarians kept up with their traditions was explained so well by Inés & Juanjo. They made our trip surpising along with the stunning panaromic views . Worth seeing and value for money. We will be booking another trip very soon. 😀

one of the best tours i've ever signed up. Amazing tour guides, with great knowledge of the Gran Canaria! The hike was easy and we went to some secert spots only locals know. Private van was super nice and chill, pick up at ur hotel and drop u off, super accessible, highly recommend!

A great fun trip hosted by Ines and Juanjo a very knowledgeable couple whose love for their island shines though. You would never find these caves by yourself and if you didn't you wouldn't know the history around them! We had a lovely time and learnt a lot. Thank you

The guides, Ins and Juanjo, made this trip very interesting and interactive with the “time travel” concept and stories they would tell you whilst travelling to each location. They were also very helpful in advising me as to my travel to meet them etc, and I’m very grateful for that extra help they gave me. Timing for visiting each place was impeccable! We visited Barranco De Las Vacas before 9am, and there was nobody there. We had the place to ourselves for half an hour, which was amazing as we seen how quickly it fills up with tourists. Likewise at the secret caves near Aguimes, we were the only ones there for a full hour. Ins had a lot of information about the culture and geology of each area, and was very good at answering all the questions our group had to ask. I preferred that this trip was a smaller group of 6, as opposed to the larger group trips I’ve previously been on. It made the trip feel more personal, and created the family feeling that they aimed for. Overall an amazing trip, and would definitely book another trip with these guides! Overall, the cave trip in Gran Canaria was a good experience, and I’d give it 4 stars. The scenery and the experience of exploring the caves were great, and we enjoyed the outing as a group of three couples aged mid-30s to mid-50s. However, there was one aspect of the trip that felt a bit out of place: the driver’s commentary. Throughout the trip, the driver spoke in a childish, overly silly voice and used a box they called a “Time Machine.” While this might be entertaining for children, it felt strange and, frankly, irritating for our group of adults. If we’d had younger kids with us, I could understand the approach, but for an audience of adults, it didn’t really fit the tone of the trip. I was also hoping to learn more about the history of the islands and the lives of the locals, but the focus on the gimmicky “childish” narrative detracted from what could have been a more enriching experience. Additionally, I’ve read reviews from other visitors who mentioned similar concerns, and I agree with them. I also noticed that the guides responded to that feedback in a rather defensive and dismissive way, even “slagging off” the person who left the review. I think this is a missed opportunity for improvement. Feedback is valuable, and instead of taking it as an offence, the guides could see it as a chance to refine their approach and cater more appropriately to their audience.

Fun and friendly guides, with lots of knowledge of the islands history and unusual hidden gems to explore.

The slot canyons and caves were amazing. Really a wonderful experience. What tarnished this experience was the juvenile drama class approach of a talking van, weird voices with time travel, and stupid gags which seemed to minimize the significance of a geological wonder and indigenous authenticity. It seemed demeaning to the beauty we experienced, and we would have valued a more respectful approach. The farm house visit at the end felt intrusive, and it was obvious we were anxious to make the most of our time, as the guide and home owner sat and discussed in Spanish, while the rest of us stood patiently waiting to continue. Vacationers have limited time and this 20 minutes was wasted. The guides never did introduce themselves, and we felt this tour could have been better.

The scenery and places visited are beautiful and impressive! However, be prepared for it to be the perfect experience for children - the whole presentation (with lots of gimmicks and hoopla) is tailored to children between 6 and 10 years old. Personally, I would have liked there to have been more information and fewer games.

This was a superb 4 hour tour in a small group bus allowing good interaction with fellow punters as well as the guides. I booked specifically for the first stop at the picturesque rock formations, but the caves were also an unexpected delight. The narrative on the tour really brought the history of the area to life and it was lovely to see the rural village too. Snack lunch is provided which was very welcome. A reasonable level of fitness is required and don’t forget to bring water.

Excellent experience. Views of caves and the canyon is great. The SkyRebels team were amazing and had great knowledge of the indigenous population that lived in the caves. The views offered in this trip are a great alternative to a beach-holiday. Michael & Julie

We had a fantastic time. Perfect hosts and different places to visit away from all the usual tourist spots which we really enjoyed. Given lots of information but not overloaded - got the balance just right. Our 10 year old son gave it top marks and loved it. Wouldn't hesitate on booking again with them for any future trips.

I recommend getting there as early as possible before the Instagrammers arrive for endless pictures of the same rock. Very unusual and pretty, canyon is probably only 50-100yds long but it's worth the visit, especially if combined with going to Cuevas de la Audiencia which are nearby.

It was really amazing and interesting. We have learned a lot about Gran Canaria's nature and history, and at the same time have had much fun. Thank you so much, Sky Rebels!

We are happy that we decided to go there. Minimum effort to get there, the walls are cool. There might be other people as well who want to check this place out so some queing should be expected.

It was just amazing! We did not expect what we got: the most funny and friendly guides, the most interesting stories of Gran Canaria and they chose three amazing locations. We did not know that we would be able to see an historical cave from the inside! One of the best parts for me were the Details they planned. They played amazing, fitting music in the car, which gave me goosebumps, while driving through the beautiful landscape (especially the national anthem of Gran Canaria). We learned so much during that trip. It was just great!

Wow, absolutely stunning. Once again Inès, Juan and Labita make this trip so worth doing with their local knowledge, their passion for this amazing country. The Baranco de las Vacas is stunning. At the time we get there it's empty which allows you to appreciate the scenery. Then leaving there you are transported to the caves. Seeing these caves and what their inhabitants used them for is still amazing. Then finally a walk through a Canarian village. I can't fault this tour whatsoever. The guides are knowledgeable, professional and very passionate about the island and it shows. So a massive thank you to you all.
