Authentic Tenerife, Teide And Masca On A Private Tour.

Was a good tour, guide was ok - not sure we got much or the best information on the tour about what we were seeing, but was a good day. No complaints.

We had an amazing day out. Vlad, our guide and driver was brilliant. He was so knowledgable and also a really really nice guy. He couldn’t have been more accommodating in everything we wanted to do and also had a tour planned that really seemed to show us the best of Tenerife. The national park is something really special and an absolute highlight.

This was an amazing tour and Vlad, our driver, took us to see so many beautiful places. He was very knowledgeable and when I told him that I was looking for Prickly Pear jam (they call it Cactus flower in Tenerife) he took my right to a quaint little store that had it 😋. Unfortunately we had to cut our tour short because both my husband and I think we ate something bad on the ship the night before and didn't feel too good. Vlad was very concerned and considerate and took us back to the ship. I would highly recommend this tour and ask for Vlad, what a nice man and taught us so much about the culture there and history.

We had a wonderful day with Eugene! We saw so much of the natural splendor of Tenerife. Every turn in the road seemed to bring another stunning wonder! Eugene did a great job navigating the winding roads and kept us engaged with stories, facts and answering our many questions. My wife and I booked this private excursion because we wanted to experience more than just the typical tourist highlights of Tenerife. It ended up being one of the most memorable days of our trip. Kyrylo was an extraordinary guide. He brought incredible energy, knowledge, and genuine passion for Tenerife and the Canary Islands. We had an unforgettable tailor-made private full day tour of Tenerife - which was completely bespoke for me, my husband and daughter. This trip, which was a full 8 hours (or can be customisable according to time requested) was hands-down the highlight of our trip! Our guide and driver, Alex, provided convenient door-to-door service, collecting and dropping us off right outside our hotel. We had a photo-op action packed itinerary. Alex listened to exactly what we wanted to see and do and organised the visiting spots around our wishes. We drove up from the sunny South (Golf Del Sur) and travelled along the gorgeous west coast, past Costa Adeje and the main hotel resorts all the way to the Northern parts. Navigating the stunning and jaw-dropping hairpin roads through the Masca Valley requires a genuinely skilled driver, and we could never have done it ourselves. Alex navigated the terrain safely and confidently which was most assuring to someone like me who usually feels nervous in unfamiliar terrain (particularly at high altitude!). He knew all the absolute best places to pull over so we could capture awesome scenery and enjoy endless photo opportunities. What made the trip even better was Alex’s incredible knowledge. He gave us fascinating insights into Tenerife’s history, its distinct volcanic landscapes and their relation to the islands of La Palma and La Gomera and the remarkable flora and fauna of Masca. It was so interesting to learn about the Agave plants used to make tequila, as well as the large seed 'trees'. We even got to taste unique cactus ice cream from a local store in Masca. We truly got to experience the island's diverse climate zones firsthand. Afterward, he took us to Garachico, an historial port town, where we got to explore a more authentic side of Tenerife and hear how the destructive volcanic eruptions here shaped its history as well as browse local, independent stores. Alex also showed us the beautiful natural swimming pools on the coastline, giving us the opportunity to swim if we wanted to. Before the day ended, Alex explained some of the other fantastic tours Trek Tenerife offers, including hiking excursions to remote areas like the prehistoric Anaga forest, which we would love to try another time. We also picked up some inexpensive lava bracelets from a local vendor, which serve as a wonderful, memorable keepsake of our day. This is a fantastic tour. Alex showed us the highlights and hidden gems of the island. He is knowledgeable, personable and fun. We saw a lot, learned a lot and laughed together. The restaurant we stopped at for lunch was excellent. We can honestly say this was the best day of our 3 week vacation.

The tour was great! The itinerary covers everything you need to see in Tenerife in one day! Eugenio, our tour guide, was very personable and respectful. He was open to adjusting the schedule to fit our taste. My only critic is that he is Russian and he had some difficulty speaking Spanish. While visiting a Spanish speaking country I assumed that would not be an issue. The overlooks and trails he took us were absolutely beautiful ! Thank you 😊

Alex is an amazing tour guide! He is very knowledgeable on the flora and fauna and historical facts about Tenerife and told us stories in a humorous way that kept the journey fun. Initially, I was worried as some people in my group had mobility issues, but Alex planned the tour in a way where all of us could enjoy it. Throughout the tour, he also took beautiful photos of my family and always knew the best spots to get the best picture. Not only that, he put in a lot of effort to make sure that each landmark was not just a photo stop, but also an educational moment. The ride was incredibly comfortable for our group of 8. It is a very complete tour of most of the major natural attractions of the island. The guide will tailor make the itinerary after you meet so you can see whatever you want and for how long you want to tour. We went for over 10 hours and did not feel rushed. The guide is very knowledgeable and kind. We felt safe and comfortable. I can't imagine there is a better company on this island.

Having never visited Tenerife before we chose this comprehensive trip around the north and the national park. It was fascinating, informative and everything we hoped for. Alex was an excellent guide, knowing all the best places to see and driving safely on hair- raising roads. He was instantly engaging, friendly and an excellent communicator. Excellent and do it now! Where can I begin, Alex is a gentleman and he knows the lay of the land and it was wonderful to be taken to places that not many people know about. I also don't enjoy large crowds and he took us to so many smaller places and mom and pop shops, you know shops that are owned by individuals instead of large companies are just my type. And we went to several of those. He's kind he's attentive and I cried several times at the beauty of the things that I was getting to witness. I am a season traveler and am accustomed to private tours and for the price and the beauty and the attention to detail this one to me was probably one of the best ones I've ever gone on. The park is amazing and since I am older mid-60s I was concerned about if it would be too strenuous for me and he will make it to what you are comfortable with! I appreciated that so much I must admit I almost did not book this one because I'm viator it showed five stars out of 13 reviews at the time and that concern to me Not realizing how many other platforms his company is on, but we booked it anyway and it's one of the best decisions I've made so far this year. Happy traveling and I hope that you get to do this excursion because it is just brilliant!

I had an awesome time on this tour! Alex was a very safe driver, I felt relaxed the whole trip. The places we visited were stunning, and everything was really well planned and fun. Luckily the weather was perfect for us, even though it didn’t look great in the forecast nearby. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a nice tour!

I had a fantastic day on this tour with great fellow travelers and, most importantly, our amazing guide Alex! I got a wonderful Christmas gift from the company — a nice discount on the excursion. I never thought it’s possible to see so many of Tenerife’s absolute highlights in just one day. Unfortunately, we couldn’t cross Teide National Park from west to east because the road was partly closed due to snow and ice. But Alex quickly changed the route and we got to visit the charming historic town of Icod de los Vinos instead. Huge thanks for this unforgettable day!

I was picked up from my apartment and taken to so many incredible locations that I would never have been able to visit on my own. Masca, Garachico, and Teide National Park were simply breathtaking! A wonderful day trip with countless impressions. At each stop there was a spectacular view of the landscape - whether Teide Volcano, Teide National Park, Masca or the north coast. Just perfect! We had Alex as a private guide and he took his time before D-Day to fully understand what we were looking for. We had 2 places we wanted in the tour absolutely. In the end, the day was exactly what we needed. Alex has been taking care of us and has also volunteered to be a photographer. He knows perfectly the nooks and crannies and spots to make beautiful souvenir photos. As we were neither athletes nor trekking champions, Alex’s chosen turn and the tempo of the walk were fine.
