From there, we’ll set sail along the island’s stunning coastline, where you can sit back, relax and take in the breathtaking ocean views as the sun sets over the Atlantic. Keep your eyes on the horizon — you may even be lucky enough to spot dolphins swimming alongside us! A bit misleading about the dolphins part, it should be called a sunset sailing cruise, very lucky if you see any dolphins. The drinks were a nice touch tho, the box of food wasnt that good. The commentry was non existant sat with some music playing, and typical waiting for a tip at the end.
This sunset dolphin cruise was quite simply one of the most magical experiences of our lives. From the moment we stepped on board, the crew were warm, welcoming, and attentive, creating a relaxed and friendly atmosphere throughout the trip. The drinks flowed freely, and watching the sun set over the water was absolutely stunning. The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the dolphins. We were incredibly fortunate to see three separate pods, and watching them swim alongside the boat was breathtaking. They seemed to be playing in the wake and putting on a show entirely of their own accord. Seeing these magnificent animals in their natural environment was both humbling and unforgettable. My 8-year-old daughter summed it up perfectly when she said, "This was the best night of my life." We even ventured out onto the catamaran net, where we felt completely safe while enjoying a front-row view of these beautiful creatures. Watching the dolphins so close to us was a truly magical experience that neither of us will ever forget. This was far more than just a boat trip. It was an emotional, awe-inspiring, and genuinely life-changing experience. The combination of an amazing crew, a stunning sunset, a fantastic atmosphere, and the unforgettable encounter with the dolphins made this one of the most special evenings we have ever had. I cannot recommend this cruise highly enough. If you're thinking of booking, do it. The memories you make will stay with you forever.
An excellent sunset cruise and one of the highlights of our Lanzarote trip. We were fortunate enough to see dolphins during the cruise, which made the experience even more fantastic. The boat stopped for plenty of time so everyone could take photos and videos, rather than just sailing straight past them. Even without seeing dolphins, though, the sunset alone would have made the trip worthwhile. The cruise includes unlimited drinks throughout, including alcoholic drinks, soft drinks and water. There was also a really good complimentary snack box with sandwiches, pastries and fresh fruit, which was a nice addition. The staff were excellent throughout — friendly, attentive and clearly keen to make sure everyone enjoyed themselves. They also stopped at a great spot for the sunset and again allowed plenty of time to take photos and enjoy the views. There’s also free hotel transfer available to and from your hotel or the nearest available pick-up point, which makes the whole experience very easy. One thing to be aware of: it can be quite bumpy, so if you’re prone to seasickness or motion sickness, we’d definitely recommend taking travel sickness tablets beforehand. Overall, a fantastic experience with great staff, plenty of drinks and food, a beautiful sunset and, if you’re lucky, dolphins too. Definitely recommended.
Beautiful and stunning, so glad we got to see the lovely dolphins and a beautiful sunset. Very good service with lovely food and drink.
Customer service Dreadful not helpful at all I had booked two separate bookings one for me one for my partner but he couldn’t go so I cancelled his on my booking I was was being collected from hotel flamingo Playa Blanca at 5.45 but they failed to show up or own up to their error and refused point blank to put me on another evening trip so I would definitely not book anything through them again just be careful with these tour company’s as they take your money and run! It was 100% error on their belief and they won’t own it of course they won’t they had the money either way I never got the experience I paid £50 for ….
Amazing evening on the boat and we saw lots of dolphins as well which was a bonus. Welcome mojitos and an open bar was great and the food snack boxes were enjoyable. The price for the experience was great The trip lasted 2 hour which was enough to see the dolphins, have some food and drinks and enjoy the views The only down side I would say was that we didn’t get to see sunset as we went in July and the trip is 6:30-8:30pm.
On the positive side - there was plenty of room for everyone, the drinks were good and the views of Lanzarote were beautiful. However whilst I totally understand that there was no guarantee that we would see dolphins or any wildlife, we all felt disappointed with this experience. The staff/crew were functional at best , and there was no interaction other than a short talk at the beginning to explain what was happening, a few glasses being collected and then nothing. It did not feel warm and welcoming to me, A few smiles from the crew and perhaps going round to talk to people would have been appreciated. At the end there was a thank you but no acknowledgement that we didn't see dolphins or anything else (which given the title of the cruise would have felt appropriate) - just a very functional thank you and goodbye. Please note it gets cold! There were several people there with no additional layers and were suffering for it.
We had a great evening on our sunset cruise. We saw whales and dolphins, followed by an amazing view of the sunset. would highly recommend
Honestly do not bother. We did this and we were told food would be provided, at that time you would assume some sort of dinner but we ended up with some little square ham sandwiches and potatoes. We went out into the water, a man went to the front of the boat, looked around for a couple of seconds and we turned around and come back. We were on the coach there longer than on the boat. We didn't see anything but that might have been because they didn't stop, just blared music (which didn't help) and served some sloppy drinks. Honestly not worth it at all
This should have been rescheduled or a refund offered. The weather was bad so there was no sunset. No dolphins and it was cold.
Loved this trip. So chilled and we saw dolphins and a lovely sunset. The crew were amazing. They were looking for dolphins as soon as we got out to sea. Great trip for all, young and old..hubby got cold so make sure you take a fleece or jacket outside of summer...
Saw lots of Dolphins and a whale! Well organised, exactly as described.
The staff were so friendly and attentive welcoming us on board with drinks and canapés, plenty of space inside and outside the guides were great at getting us to our start and finishing points as well as ensuring that everyone got on the correct coaches at the end. The respect to the animals within the ocean was second to non ensuring that noise was kept to a minimum and the boat engine was turned off/slowed right down. We were incredibly lucky to see many dolphins and a whale during our time. Unfortately, I did miss the whale due to a toilet queue! Note to self hold it in! Thank you Lineas Romero for a fantastic experience, one we'll never forget!
Had a wonderful evening on the boat with beautiful views of the island, open ocean and sunset with no guarantee of seeing dolphins we were still happy having a lovely evening out on the boat. To our suprise after around 30 minutes we saw some dolphins in the distance, the captain reduced the engine right down to protect the dolphins and approached slowly near to where they were, the dolphins chose to come up to the boat and play in the wake jumping in and out of the water happily. It was clear they respected the animals by not chasing them and allowing them to come to us. We were then so lucky to catch a glimpse of a sperm whale on the way back to shore just before he dove down showing us his beautiful tale. All the staff including the capitan and guide were respectful and helpful ensuring everyone had a good time. Way better to see these beautiful animals in the ocean where they belong and not being exploited in aquariums!
Food was super mediocre and drinks only included beer and some weird mojitos. Meeting point is not correct on the activity!
Picked up outside the hotel on time. Saw many many dolphins. Had a fab time. Both myself, husband and 2 x 17 years olds enjoyed v much.
It was a good experience. The crew were pleasant and helped my husband to get his mobility scooter on and off the catamaran without being asked. The food and drink was plentiful and we enjoyed it, especially the melon, which was more flavourful that what we get in England. We had been informed that the trip would end at 6:30 and that is what happened so it's fair enough but the official sunset time for the end of January/early Feb is around 6:35. As we looked back before getting onto the bus to go home I could see that the real colour in the sky was just there so I felt that we had missed the best of the sunset. Something for the organisers to think about.
An enjoyable trip but no dolphins to be seen so a bit disappointed. But not something tha can be guaranteed I guess. Otherwise a smooth sailing, drink and food plentiful. Staff were all very pleasant and nice!
Fantastic tour, there was a buffet & unlimited drinks - we were expecting just the welcome drink & canape. Friendly staff & we saw dolphins! Plenty of seating too.
They should sell it at a coastal trip. For one there is no need to advertise dolphins or whales as there are never any and for two the boat sailed away from the sunset. Yes, I moved to the back of the boat and had lovely views but just sell it for what it is. People would still book for an evening boat trip. You also need a strong stomach for the toilets and change for the promoted tips!!!
Absolutely fantastic experience, the crew couldn’t have been more friendly and accommodating and the extra effort they went to to ensure we saw dolphins was incredible. Will definitely be taking this excursion again
Had an amazing time .beautiful views helpfull staff very easy to find bus etc It was recommended by a friend and I would recommend to someone else .
Lovely evening friendly staff loads of dolphins beautiful sunset and nice snacks and drinks thrown in very good value I would recommend it
We booked this mini cruise as I am fascinated with dolphins and even though sighting is not always guaranteed we still went. We were picked up outside tequila lounge right on time and brought to the harbour, upon arrival at boat we were given prosecco on boarding, free beer, sangria and soft drinks. Food was also provided. Crew and captain were so friendly, knowledgeable and great fun. We weren't long out on boat when we first spotted dolphins and wow there was so many, it was brilliant to see them out in their natural habitat and in front of boat as if they were racing us! Absolutely beautiful creatures and so glad we picked this cruise, had the best time and would highly recommend and book again when we return! Well done captain and crew ❤️
This was perfectly adequate. Nice surroundings with an enjoyable sunset. However, the boat was overcrowded, the canapés certainly don’t look very appetising and the welcome mojito is presented in quite an ugly tub that is ladled out into a cheap plastic cup. Boat also not very clean or tidy / nicely decorated. It’s all just a bit drab and not very atmospheric.
Sadly did not enjoy this cruise at all. The reason we went on this cruise was mainly as my daughter has always wanted to see dolphins, as I understand seeing dolphins are not guaranteed, I feel the staff did not simply care about even trying to spot them, there was a group of them gathered near the smoking area just chatting and laughing rather than actually doing their job.
Absolutely no dolphins, boat docked before sunset so didn't even get to see that. Just 2 hours of blue sea with no commentary or explanation from the crew. All in all so disappointed, not even one photo opportunity! But on positive side pre-trip information from tour operator was very good as was bus pick up. Certainly not worth £136 for 3 people though!
So, I get it. You can’t guarantee dolphins. You don’t have much control over a sunset. But (and here’s the most important part), you can take charge of the bits in between like some relevant coastal commentary or even looking interested in your passengers. Minus the dolphins and sunset, this was a boring booze cruise at best. A packed boat with the same people grabbing the free drink and then wondering why they were falling onto other passengers on board. Don’t bother with this trip. The deck hands were more interested in feeding the seagulls above boat than those of us on it.
Everyone was super friendly. We were greeting with a drink and some snacks, to which were then available throughout the trip. We didn’t see any dolphins, however, this didn’t ruin the trip. We had a great time. Would do this again and pay for this again just for the boat trip.
Our journey started at a local bus stop, where we were picked up by a clean and comfortably cool coach, perfect for the hot day. After a 15-minute ride with a few pick-ups along the way, we arrived at our destination, joining another coach full of people. From there, it was a short walk to the catamaran, where our group of around 80 people had their tickets checked before boarding. Some passengers paid on the spot, but I had prepaid. It was sweltering, and we had to wait about 15 minutes before boarding. Fortunately, being at the front of the line allowed us to board quickly and secure the best seats at the front of the boat. As we boarded, the lively crew offered us two types of canapés and a choice of soft drinks, beer, or mojitos. We chose the mojitos, which were delicious but ran out about 20 minutes into the ride. If you enjoy your (soft) booze, make sure to get a refill quickly; the beer supply lasted longer. Approximately 45 minutes into the trip, more canapés were served inside the boat. While I eagerly searched for dolphins, my daughter grabbed more snacks. General pop and dance music played, and passengers began to relax on the ropes, occasionally getting splashed by the sea, adding to the fun. Although we didn't spot any dolphins, which would have made the experience perfect, the adventure was still enjoyable. Towards the end, the crew handed out delicious honey rum shots, which lifted my spirits. I later found the honey rum in a spa shop for around 7 euros. I also enjoyed a cigarette in the designated smoking area at the back of the boat. The captain, who looked like a seasoned sailor, was very friendly. Despite the language barrier, we managed to communicate through hand signals. The boat was impressive, and even when the sea became a bit choppy, the ride felt like a mini rollercoaster with thrilling tummy drops. Throughout the excursion, the crew and tour guides treated us with utmost respect and courtesy. I highly recommend this trip, even if you don't get to see dolphins. The experience is well worth it!
We booked this for my 50th birthday. We turned up early and search for around 20 to 25 minutes until after the boat was due to sail but could not find a meet point (photos enclosed of where the link directed us, no pier in sight). The meet point shown on Google maps was incorrect and outside a restaurant and not near any boats or piers. We travelled up and down the waterside looking and the only sign was a dolphin ticket office a couple of minutes away which was shut but still no boat or pier. We eventually had to give up after the time the boat was meant to leave in frustration. Upon arriving home, sent this message to both the operator and booking company but refund rejected. A waste of our money and time on my birthday.
This boat trip was one of the highlights of our holiday. We were picked up from a nearby location and taken to the marina where we boarded the boat. We were met with a Mojito as our welcome drink. There was also further Mojitos to be had, plus other drinks and snacks of sandwiches and fruit. We were able to see upwards of 20+ dolphins and the captain and crew were amazing. We had a lot of fun - trying on the captains hats and having photos taken. Excellent - highly recommended.
We didn't see dolphins which is fine as we understand wild animals cannot be predicted however we felt as though lack of any other entertainment on the boat made this an experience you could have paid less for with other companies just to do the sunset tour as without dolphins it was just sitting on the boat as there wasnt really any other entertainment We did get some nice photos of the ocean view but just feel as though we could have done this on any of the other sunset tours for less of a price. Perhaps if the tour operators were able to give some information about the islands you pass or the volcanos or something it may be worth the price even without the dolphins but it was just sitting waiting really.
The only thing that made this evening amazing was the arranged pickup point Travelled to the other side of port de carmen, bus stopped near our hotel on way to boat
Absolutely loved it! Food and drink was good Cruise was awesome Staff were amazing We spotted 5 dolphins!!!! Couldn’t have asked for a better trip
Well organised tour with friendly staff. Pick up was on time and the boat had plenty of room for everyone to have a seat and to move around. Plenty of beer, mojitos, sangria and soft drinks on offer along with snacks of sandwiches, croquettes and watermelon. We also got to see a number of dolphins which was a delight.
Everything was good on this trip. We were lucky enough to see dolphins, weather was perfect and the boat facilities were great, even the toilets!1 We were offered loads of free food, and free sangria, lager and mojitos as well as soft drinks. The crew were exceptional and helped make a good trip great.
Enjoyable evening out on the water. Great opportunity for getting some excellent sunset shots. Fantastic crew and atmosphere.
Perfect few hours. Lots of dolphins. The staff were amazing. Sunset stunning. Couldn't ask for more.................!
Bus picked us up on time , catamaran very crowded , just managed to get a seat. Very windy bring a warm hooded jacket. Saw dolphins which was great. Food and mojito disgraceful , poor quality. Crew couldn’t care less , very unfriendly , did not engage with us once , seemed great with small children, we had teenagers with us. Nothing was pointed out or explained . Too expensive at 49€ pp. would pay 30€ and have no food and drink. Soft drink served from opened 2 litre bottles into a paper cup you’re given one each on boarding . Look for a better company to do this trip .
Efficient pick up from our hotel on time. A drink as soon as we got on board the catamaran with a choice of soft drinks, beer & sangria. Plenty of space for everyone & the staff were friendly & generous. About half way through the trip, it was delightful to see wild dolphins jumping out of the water & whales coming to the surface. To round off the trip, a beautiful sunset slipping behind the volcanic landscape. Thank you for a wonderful evening.
This was a fantastic trip, nice snacks & drinks and a really friendly crew. We were lucky & privileged to see lots of dolphins very close-up & finished with a beautiful sunset. Really good value and definitely an occasion to remember
Enjoyable Relaxed Comfortable Reasonable priced Great evening with no issues wouldn't mind returning in few years to repeat experience.
Boat and staff excellent. Drinks free including Sangria and Beer. Even some food. No dolphins and though we saw what apparently was a pilot whale blow water as it come up we never saw as was too far away. Sunset was nice
Lovely time out on the sea! Weather wasn't great so didn't really see much. Would consider doing it again in the summer. The guys on the boat were great, even carrying a lady who had broken her foot/ankle (not sure which), down to the boat from the harbour.
Worth the money. Sunset was amazing. Saw a few dolphins and whales too. Fantastic cruise. Would highly recommend this trip.
Fantastic. Crew attentive, relaxing atmosphere with plenty of food and drinks. Dolphins and a whale passed, although, obviously not guaranteed but we were lucky on this trip. Plan to make another booking on our next holiday. Take a jacket/sweatshirt as the temperature drops quickly when the sun has set.
Great couple of hours sailing. Good fun..Nice food and drinks. Proper sunset cruise got some lovely pictures. Well organised
After looking through things to do we picked the sunset cruise. From the moment I booked, the communication with the company was excellent, receiving information when we were being picked up and where. Arrival at the boat and the cruise was lovely and the time passed to quickly and the sun setting was beautiful, unfortunately no dolphins today but we would recommend.
