2-hours Spa Circuit In Costa Adeje

Great spa absolutely love this place

I visited Aqua Club Termal in Costa Adeje on 16/11/2025 with a friend and had a very uncomfortable experience at reception. When we arrived, the blonde female receptionist greeted us in Spanish. I answered, and she responded to me with “What?” in English, as if she didn’t understand me. I then explained that I wanted to book a massage/spa. Instead of continuing to speak to me (I was the one paying), she turned away and only looked at my lighter-skinned friend, barely acknowledging me. I found this extremely disrespectful and, as a Black customer, it left me feeling like I was being treated differently because of how I look. I couldn’t relax in the spa at all, so we got dressed again and went back to reception to talk about it. At that point the same receptionist asked if I could speak Spanish, which was confusing given she had already decided I couldn’t when I first spoke to her. She then acted as if she couldn’t speak English. Another (non-white) member of staff translated for us. When I explained how I felt, I was asked why I didn’t say something in the moment, which I felt put the blame on me rather than addressing the behaviour. The woman was angry and dismissive. My request for a refund was refused. The facilities themselves looked fine, but customer service and basic respect were severely lacking. I left feeling upset and unwelcome and would not return. I especially want other travellers of colour to be aware of my experience before booking.

I am a resident of Tenerife but originally from Belgium. I used to go to many saunas and spas in Belgium and here, but my experience in the Hovima Spa in Costa Adeje, using the thermal circuit with a friend last Friday, was beyond my expectations. First of all, I was late, my friend was already there, and the girl on reception at the spa, called Marina, was super friendly. I had a BonoVip and printed it all out, but we did not even have to show it; she had everything ready to enter and start our relaxation adventure. Marina showed us the lockroom and showers, and gave us a bath towel each. Everything was super clean, and the whole place was just perfect. It was cosy, not too big, had a very relaxed atmosphere, and had great facilities. I loved the ice pillar, the jacuzzis, the little salt pool in the Turkish bath, the cold dip pool, and the massage jets. Also, the little room with the heated stone seats was great. A water automator and another big jug with fresh lemon water; it had everything we needed and more to enjoy a fabulous few hours. I went home soooo relaxed, feeling like a million dollars, and all stress is gone. Thank you. I will be back. You are one of the best in the South of Tenerife, and I am glad I found this little jewel!

To be honest a little disappointed. The location given here sent us completely the wrong way - even local taxis didn’t know where it was based on information given. Tried to contact them ahead of time via the tour operator option on Viator but had no response. Once we had found it, they couldn’t find our booking on the system. We had to provide receipts to show we had payed in advance despite having Viator open with reference number. We did eventually get in, it was so lovely! Lazy river, Turkish baths, sunbeds, sauna, ice pool, hot tub. However this advert advertises massages, we couldn’t see any options for a massages. The spa itself was lovely but the experience was not great.

Lovely relaxed and quiet spa with helpful staff when you arrive. Changing rooms and spa area very clean. Only slight disappointment was one of the steam rooms was not working.

Lovely pool with sauna and Turkish steam room. In the pool there are various jets and bubbles to relax you. There were 2 jacuzzis with bubbles on permanently plus a cold plunge pool - bbbrrrrr. There was also a jacuzzi type pool so warm but no bubbles. Take a towel or hire one. There is a cafe on site that you can use after. Not sure how strict they are on the 2 hours I couldn't work out how they police it but we went on a week day out of holidays

We liked the circuit and used all the facilities available 2 hrs about right and we left feeling refreshed 😁👍

Loved it all, but did like floatation pool. Staff so friendly and helpful and enjoyed the whole experience

Nice place, not very crowded either, we spent there a few hours. The availability on tripadvisor showed as booked but on their website they were saying they are available that day. One thing that was a bit off is that they offer lockers with a tiny key (that you take with you inside on a bracelet) but they say that they dont take responsability in case your locker is hacked. So going in thinking that my phone, ID and cards could be lost was a bit stressing. Anyway all was good but would have felt better if I knew my locker is protected enough to make them take responsability for it in case it was opened up by another

Went for my daughters birthday while we was in tenerife, was brilliant day and so relaxing, would definitely do it again

Spa circuit was fantastic. Loved the Saunas and Turkish steam rooms. Also enjoyed a relaxing massage at the end too. Fantastic morning.

Absolutely awesome aqua therapy wow!! Lots of jets and pools and a strong lazy river, waterfalls steam room sauna and aromatherapy showers. I just wish I could go every week!!

Everything was absolutely amazing and much needed. I would definitely recommend and go do this again! One of my favorite parts would have to be the massage and exfoliation room and the ice but everything is great.

There are possibly jets in different areas for every part of your body! Enjoyed the floatation area. Really romantic with lights at nightime. Windows are open to outside all the way around the pool but Tenerife is so warm along with the water in the pool that it is not cold. Bit pricey - but worth the visit.

Beautiful space, with many possibilities, but many parts were missing, so limited Spa was available. The saunas are very small. No personnel present in the room.

Very large modern spa with all amenities: Jacuzzi Sauna Bain remous Hammam sensory shower Hot pool Cold basin Water jets We took the option 2 hours more than enough everyone feasted daddy grandma and baby the top Only downside the parking is very small and quickly full given the number of activities that the complex has (gym, beauty salon, padel etc...)

I've never seen anything like this and infrequent. It is a cold shed of temperature and furniture-like, you can not relax even a moment. The water is "thermal chemically". You pay an extra cot the € 40 .. (where you do not lie down because you are in the water in the pools and pools three for an hour in a row to get out as soon as possible). You must enter ONLY WITH THEIR BATHROBE AND NOTHING,MORE

Terrible atmosphere especially when you are used to the dutch sauna. We've been 10 minutes. That's as long as it took

Really good. Big highlight for the temperatures that are top, whether it's the hot tubs, sauna or steam room. I particularly recommend the jaccuzzi + frigidarium combo (water cooled to 10 °) for maximum relaxation. The only real negative is the lack of general lighting when night falls. (The SPA is open until 9pm) We will also pay attention to the steps, the first one is double the height compared to the others and so at the beginning we easily bump our toes in wanting to get out of the pools. The salt cave is extra.

Nice spa, welcoming, relaxing and pleasant, we did a 2-hour thermal circuit. A moment of pure relaxation...

Lots of water - little atmosphere but everything is there to relax body and mind. Very pragmatic. Gym atmosphere. Nice sauna. Good steam bath. We'll be back!

Very large, modern, with everything you could want in a spa. Super friendly staff. Fortunately the taxis know the address.

The thermal bath is great, clean cleaned good lifeguards of course also the reception very friendly and helpful thank you we had booked a monthly pass after we got new income thank you.

It has been a wonderful experience, it has real professionals... I exceeded my expectations for covid safety measures, so I felt completely safe and relaxed. The salt cave helped me a lot with my asthmatic problems, the thermal circuit has been fun and relaxing. I'm looking forward to coming back...
