Parque Vacacional Eden

The garden is gorgeous! It's like little botanical garden, even with a playground for kids. Pool was ok as well. We only had breakfast which was really good as well.

We enjoyed our vacation in this hotel. The place is quiet and nice. The rooms are tidy , they are cleaned every day. There are nice swimming pools on the territory. You can always take part in different activities. The breakfast was very varied. You can also have buffet lunch and dinner at the restaurant. Staff members are very nice and polite.

I feel scammed. We had an horrible experience at Hotel Parque Vacacional Eden. The hotel description and advertisement on TUI and the hotel’s website were completely misleading. Their Instagram page is a joke. The hotel did not look the same in real life, the quality was extremely poor. Mold, hair from previous guests, dirt, cockroaches, rats, disgusting food, dirty interior also in the lobby and hallways, leaking bathrooms, dirty chairs, I can go on and on. The staff were arrogant and not helpful, they approach guests with such mistrust as if we are potential thieves and opportunists. They ask a cash deposit for every little small thing. For example, 20€ for a dirty old small ventilator that you can buy on Amazon for a cheaper price. Even for basic stuff such as a new towel, you need to beg at the reception with arrogant and unhelpful staff until they give it you. We asked 3 times. If we didn’t push they really wouldn’t give us a new fresh towel. Apparently ‘they don’t have enough towels’. What kind of hotel is that?! Absolutely lack of professional behaviour. I would never recommend this place and it is a shame that they are still operating, and that the hotel is advertised on their website and on other companies websites like TUI, in such a misleading way. If an inspection would check this hotel thoroughly, they would have to close down.

Most horrendous and derogatory experience as a hotel guest I have ever received. Starting with the final event that sealed the deal for me of calling this the worst hotel experience: I simply asked for another towel more than three times during the same day, and was still DENIED to receive another towel. It is mind boggling to me as to why a hotel would refuse to hand out a basic amenity such as a towel if one of their paying guests request an additional towel for comfort. I even explained to them that I simply need one additional big towel to roll it as a neck roll for a pillow replacement - answer, we dont want to give you additional towels, and extra pillow they might consider, but not a towel. After minutes of negotiations from my side due to their mind boggling refusal to hand out a towel the reception lady was "gracious" enough to eventually offer me an outdoor deck chair towel, but only under the condition that I immediately return it tomorrow. Sorry what? As a staying guest they would only "borrow" me one of their filthy outdoor towels for a day when I asked them for a clean hygienic bathroom towel. Absolute insanity to treat customer like that. Leading to the next derogatory treatment level: the rooms a re hot, moldy and humid. Asking for the kind "add-on" of a mini fan requires a deposit of 20€, cash only. Where are we? No airco, steamy musty moldy rooms that make sleeping in the heat unbearable, but borrowing an additional fan requires a cash deposit. The fan received was in horrendous condition, and one can probably buy two equal fans in new condition of Temu for cheaper than 20€. Nobody is going to steal or sell their outdated, filthy, dusty and muffy fans ever. Nor was there any initial deposit for the entire stay and room which includes a fridge and TV. Treating guests under weird assumption that a worthless fan requires a cash deposit is the most ridiculous process I ever encountered in a hotel. Hotel itself was probably a highlight 40 years ago, mostly outdated, dusty, and smelly. Simple things such as keeping corners clean, or replacing their hideously dirty carpets in the hallway are simply ignored. The entire impression of just the events above already underpin the impression that they are operating the hotel with as little budget as possible, while assuming the guests will try to exploit them and need to be treated as poorly and cheaply as possible (extra towel: no, you want a rancid dusty fan: cash deposit upfront) Restaurant and evening buffet and absolutely disgrace when compared to local cuisine and what the average restaurant in the area offers. Just upon entering one is welcomed with a cheap and artifical instant-cuisine smell of bland fast food and lack of care for proper cooking. Ironically out of all items the deep frozen chicken wings were inedible, semi-pink on the inside and had an off/spoiled taste. Charging roughly 25€ for this per person is nothing short of exploitative, considering >90% is instant food or was deep frozen and canned. For the same price we received a huge fresh grilled fish pladder down at the coast at a harbor restaurant not even 10 minutes from the hotel. Rooms themselves were minimum acceptable in terms of cleanliness on anything that would be touched or where contact could not be avoided. However, most corners full of dust, and hair from prior guests. The bathroom has visually not been descaled in months at the very least. Upon entering each of the 3 rooms our family rented were sticky, humid and had moldy smell. Our room was some 35-40 degrees hot. One can only get cynical when blending the room quality with the staff treatment and disgusting fan received when asking for assistance with the heat in the rooms. Furthermore the beds are more resemblance of military field beds, simple single hard frames with a small cheap mattress atop, two of them simply placed loosely next to one another. This place could easily be a top location given the garden facilities and overall location, but somehow they manage to sustainably disappoint on every possible aspect.
