Had an amazing stay and a wonderful holiday... Staff were amazing , helpful , polite and super cheerful!... on the first night in 'John Wayne' suites the drains backed up and pumped out water into the hallway/ bedroom and I think the drains on that corridor were all backed up as could see other drains leaking into the corridor... Reception moved us into 'Marilyn Monroe' suites and the room was a better room all round!! Plenty of space, nice hot showers and a veranda.... was really pleased and food was good too... breakfast had plenty of variety, although I mostly stuck to fruit and coffee and evening meal had plenty of selection and even more when arriving early!... pools were a nice way of cooling off in the sun 🌞 and lifeguards were on duty.... this was our first stay in Tenerife and really enjoyed it tbh, even in October weather was warm and plenty to do, excursions to go on & shops to visit... would definitely recommend to people fancying a trip to the Canary Islands... like other people have said , the hotel is on the top of a big hill , so in the heat it may be worth using one of the local taxis- these guys were great too, although their prices could be a bit up and down..one day you could pay €4.20 to the Los Christianos beach and another day €7??... and then another day we got a taxi back when it was busy on the roads and it cost us about €10 all the way from Las America's?? Lol!! Anyway, would definitely recommend Hollywood Mirage hotel and thanks to all the staff there for being so helpful!!

We stayed here as a family from 10th to 16th August and really enjoyed our holiday. The hotel is on a hill, but the free shuttle bus to Playa de las Vistas and the sea runs every hour, which was very convenient. We stayed self-catering and the apartment had everything we needed to cook, plus there was a small shop downstairs. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, and reception could also call a taxi for us when needed. The area is beautiful, with lovely mountains and cliffs around. The room was clean and was cleaned about twice during our stay. The pool was also nice and clean. The only small thing was that the air conditioning was a little weak, but honestly it was enough for us when we closed the windows and doors. Overall, we had a really nice stay, were very happy with everything and would definitely come back again. 5 stars from us;)))
Stayed on 4th floor opposite reception overlooking pool, lovely views. Decent rooms, kept very clean, small kitchen and dining/living room. Good size balcony for eating, games and sunbathing. Aircon worked well, telephone in room didn't was only issue. Sofabed had seen better days. Reception busy in evening with one person on, and can be a little slow depending upon queue size and peoples' enquiries. Buffet breakfast with plenty to choose from, quality ok. Position is high up the hill in Los Cristianos and would not be suitable for certain people if you want to go out and walk/explore. All in all I'd recommend and would return if in this part of the world again.
We’ve just returned from our trip here we had x2 of the one bedroom apartments and x1 of the studio apartment. The rooms are very spacious and look lovely especially for the money, the actual hotel looks absolutely stunning no matter where you are, we were really impressed with that. The staff are super friendly and the entertainment team are absolutely perfect, you could definitely not be bored here we particularly enjoyed the foam party. We had breakfast included and we found it to be pretty nice just a bit slow at replacing things towards the end of breakfast service. The location is absolutely perfect you’ve got so many lovely restaurants around the hotel and it’s close to the beach for a nice walk or they offer the shuttle bus down to the beach free of charge and taxis are also cheap and readily available in reception. There’s 3 large pools with plenty of sunbeds, we were a group of 6 and never really had any troubles being seated together. The pools were clean and refreshing and the hotel gets plenty of sun for tanning we never felt like we were in the shade. There’s also different levels of noise at each one which is perfect for if you’re wanting to relax or have a dance to the music We did however have a few problems - our room in the Judy garland block did not have wifi the entire stay which caused me to have to use all my data and then have to use my own money to purchase more we did inform reception that it didn’t work and they said it was network provider issue which we understood but thought it would be fixed before we had gone home which it wasn’t it was also a bit temperamental around other areas of the hotel -we only had one cockroach in our room which we weren’t bothered about at all and thought it was to be expected however our family in the other 2 rooms claimed to have quite a lot of bugs in their room even on their counters where they were cooking etc -I know this sounds a little nitpicky but trust me if you go you’ll know what I mean, there’s no shower curtain on half the shower which causes your entire bathroom floor to be drenched the whole time we were there. you also don’t get much hot water, if me and my partner both wanted a shower only one of us would have hot water -they allow balls in the pool which I’ve never been bothered about til this holiday everyone in our family were hit by a ball on several occasions and the lifeguards/staff did not say anything- at times it wasn’t even a pool ball it was just a normal football absolutely launched at your head. -only one pool has a bar which means you’re having to trek around the hotel for a pint if you’re at the quieter 2 pools, it also quite frequently has long queues at the bar. All in all I would return as the beauty of the hotel is not to be missed and the pools and entertainment are lovely and it was a nice relaxing break for an amazing price however they do need to make some improvements:)
Very nice and spacious rooms (although we paid for a larger room as an upgrade). Friendly and helpful staff! This is about as far from the beaches and main restaurants on the seafront as you can get in the area, although it was lovely and quiet in the evenings. A good walk from the beach (with a good hill to climb on your way home), however the hotel provides a nice, convenient bus service to the seafront during the day which made the trips out much easier.
