Just had a great stay at Iberostar lanzerote park end of August. Biggest pros were the rooms having a separate bedroom, as a family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids) it was great to have that. The animation team and entertainment was great (shout out to Gabi who my daughter loved), we all particularly enjoyed the foam party and evening summer party. The funfair was great with bouncy castle. Activities were decent like cocktail making. Food was decent, different themes every night and lots of variety. The kids splash park and slides are nice, the pools are heated which is nice. Public beach is not far less than 5min walk. Pool party was fun too, could have made it a bit more lively by adding floats etc and served special cocktails to everyone to make it even more fun. Overall a fab stay, we really enjoyed it :)

First of all I will rate the parts I thought were great, then I will rate the poor parts. Pool bar (drinks and staff) 5⭐️ Staff at the pool bar were amazing and really made you feel relaxed and cared for. They learnt your drink and learnt what you liked. The drinks were amazing very good choice. Kids entertainment 5⭐️ Our girls loved the kids club and we can’t thank Fanni enough for everything she done to make them feel included. The shows the animation team did was really good and filled with energy, enthusiasm and class. Food hall 4⭐️ Food was ok themed nights however wasn’t the best but always something to eat, typical buffet nothing really special. Have had better in 3 ⭐️ hotels. Pool 3 1/2⭐️ This got this score because only once I saw someone wipe a table around the sun beds. The sun beds are never wiped down. The floor was only cleaned where there was rubbish, not hosed down like most places we have stayed. How ever you can change your towels daily for free. Rooms 3⭐️ Comparing this is ment to be a 5⭐️ hotel the rooms where standard nothing special about them. This takes me on to another issue they never cleaned them properly even after complaining 3-4 times they still couldn’t clean it properly to the point my daughter got glass in her foot not from us but from the previous person that was in the room. Night entertainment 4⭐️ In some acts where truly amazing others just couldn’t sing to save their life’s. But the reason for 4⭐️ was the smell of sick that flowed through the indoor entertainment part 🤢. To summarise this hotel don’t go expecting a great 5⭐️ I would say it’s a 4⭐️. It was the staff of the pool bar and the animation team that made the holiday for us. It’s not clean it’s run by people that look like they have just left school without a clue of what they are doing. Would I go back I don’t know I would have to follow the reviews see if these points have improved.
4.5 out of 5 ⭐️ We had a really enjoyable eight-night stay at Iberostar Selection Lanzarote Park. From arrival, the service was excellent – friendly, welcoming staff at reception, in the restaurant and around the pool. The people really make this hotel. We originally had an upgraded family room, but after the air conditioning failed, the hotel handled it brilliantly and moved us to an even better room in the Star Prestige area with fantastic uninterrupted sea views. The Prestige area was excellent – peaceful, loads of space, comfortable sunbeds and no fighting for beds. The food was also very good overall, with only a couple of average evenings during our stay. A few things stop me giving it 5/5. The rooms are starting to look dated and could do with better lighting, more sockets/USB points and a general refresh. I’d also like to see more mature gardens and landscaping around the hotel, and it’s a shame there’s no option to eat outside. I’m personally not a huge fan of Playa Blanca compared with Costa Adeje or Meloneras, but that’s no fault of the hotel. Overall, a very relaxing hotel with exceptional staff and service. I’m quite critical of hotels, so 4.5/5 from me is a very good score – I imagine most people would give it a solid 5.
My first time in this hotel and it was fantastic. From the food to the quality of the rooms. My favourite thing of all was was Esther loved everything she did from the Pilates in the morning, aqua fit in the afternoon. But most of all loved her master classes which were so enjoyable loved the coffee grounds. But overall her enthusiasm and want to get people involved made the trip very enjoyable. The bar staff were fantastic and very attentive and Raul was also great in helping Esther with her masterclasses and his service was top notch . Cannot wait come back next year
Good points: Beautiful hotel, fantastic location, spacious and light rooms, lovely pools, great staff. The food is AMAZING, as is the drinks selection. The entertainment on offer is varied and the staff seem really into it. The service is exemplary. Could be better : the air conditioning is not up to scratch. We kept the doors closed and had the Aircon on the coldest setting the whole time and the room was still too warm. We had to have two fans on to try and cool things down
