The hotel is spotlessly clean, the rooms and bathrooms beautifully appointed, the staff are wonderful and the grounds beautiful. We could not fault it. However it should be noted that the hotel is situated high above the town centre with 120 steps down, which are not for the faint-hearted - having said that, we are in our 70s! Taxis back up to the hotel are plentiful and cost about 5€. There's a very popular bar just around the corner from the hotel called Alberto's that has lovely views and great pizzas. We ate in the a la carte restaurant every evening but one, and the food was excellent. Breakfast was also excellent.
This hotel may not be the most modern hotel I’ve ever stayed in, but it is by far the most comfortable, the cleanest, and the best.
The hotel is beautiful, peaceful, and full of character. You can really feel its traditions and history. What impressed me the most is that the staff genuinely seem to care about maintaining the hotel to a high standard. You can see their effort and attention to detail in every corner. I especially loved seeing the names and photos of the staff displayed throughout the hotel—it made the place feel warm, personal, and full of heart.
Whether you’re traveling alone, as a couple, or with your family, if you’re looking for a place to truly disconnect from your daily routine and simply relax, I highly recommend this place. Thank you for making my stay so memorable 🥰
The staff at this hotel were really what made it amazing for me. Everyone I encountered was friendly and helpful. The location was excellent, close to a park and with a gorgeous view overlooking the city and the ocean.
Honestly, the hotel is made by the staff, and that is what you will mostly appreciate while staying there! Giving 5 out of 5 stars (Google rating) is not enough to describe how much you will love the service of the hotel. From the pre-arrival email conversation before arriving in Tenerife to the checkout, we experienced not 4-star hotel service, but 5-star hotel service. Please go and see for yourself! The hotel and rooms were clean in every aspect. Food rating, speaking of breakfast and dinner? Perfect! Breakfast was in a buffet style but rich in choice, and dinner was served with two choices, or you could have something to eat from a light version of the buffet.
PS: We were on our mini-moon there, and they did everything to make us fall in love once again! 😊
Loved our stay at the Hotel Tiagia. A family run hotel. Every member of staff were exceptional Reception can organise excursions taxis whatever you want just ask. We were given an upgraded panoramic suite. It was a lovely treat.
Breakfast and half board food was very good. I’d definitely return .
