Fabulous hotel, inviting pool and surrounding area was lovely our room looked right out onto pool. Peaceful at night no rowdiness or noise from bar area. Spa fabulous I had and amazing massage very relaxing. The only thing that let this hotel down was the food there was not a lot of choice and we struggled to find something to actually enjoy, mostly the evening meal. The carbonara was fab one night runny the next and then perfect the next. Yup had it three night in a row due to lack of choice. Aida the entertainer was fantastic she definitely had a very persuasive nature. We enjoyed daytime and evening activities with her and the big stand out was she personalised it, she knew your names after you took part in an activity and the when she came back round the pool she would say your name and as I saw very persuasive and funny she is definitely the highlight of the stay

We had a fantastic week at Hotel Pocillos Playa on an all-inclusive stay and would happily recommend it. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our room was spacious, clean and tidy, with plenty of storage, a mini fridge and a balcony. Not every room has a balcony, but all rooms have some form of outside space, which is a nice touch. The pool area is spacious, with plenty of sunbeds and a separate hot tub/jacuzzi. The poolside drinks and snack options are also very good, with plenty available throughout the day including alcoholic drinks, toasties, nachos, fresh fruit and more. The buffet was another highlight. The food changes every evening with different themed nights, and overall we thought the quality was very good. There is plenty of choice to suit most tastes, including salads, pasta and familiar British options such as chips, as well as fresh meat being grilled or carved for you if you want it. We also paid €40 for a late check-out until our airport transfer, which was well worth it. Having access to the room for a private shower before heading to the airport made the last day much more comfortable. There’s also a surprisingly good little library with a huge selection of books, which is a nice extra. We didn't personally get involved with the entertainment, but there was something happening throughout the day and evening on most days, and Aida in particular was lovely. The only real downside for us was that the buffet restaurant is one level below reception, meaning there isn't really an opportunity to eat your buffet meal outside. It would have been nice to have that option, particularly in the evenings. Overall, though, a really enjoyable stay. Clean, comfortable, good food, plenty of facilities and a great all-inclusive offering. We'd definitely consider coming back.
We visited the beginning of August and have had an amazing time at Hotel Pocillos Playa. The location is close to the beach and shops and was offered food on arrival as it was fairly late. We chose the premium upgrade and had a pool view room which was clean, modern and had everything we needed. The room was made up every day and the cleaning staff were lovely. The premium package meant we had access to the premium area with fantastic sun loungers and own bar and snacks facilities. We also had the premium drinks although all drinks were good. The food was also good with themed evenings and a good range of choice to suit everyone. Entertainment lady Aida is amazing and really funny. She works so hard and we really enjoyed chatting to her and she is good at getting everyone involved. All staff were really helpful but a special mention for Aida and Ubay who served drinks and in the restaurant. He works so hard and stood out. Recommended the hotel and it's definitely on our list to return to.
This is our second visit as we had such a good experience last time and a 2nd visit did not disappoint! The staff are so accommodating and helpful, big shout out to Ada who bought the vibes with the entertainment and activities! We celebrated our anniversary and was gifted a bottle of champagne which we weee very thankful for Short trip from the airport so you can start you holiday quickly. Very clean rooms are cleaned daily. Food is very good with fresh food cooked on every meal, also have snack food bought poolside. Good variety of food and fresh. Very quiet area so good for recovery after a night out! short walk down to restaurants and shops if needed, Spar is only a 5 minute walk. Puerto Del Carmen strip is a 10 minute taxi which is only 5 euros if you want a more lively night out All in all I would recommend a stay here
A lovely, quiet hotel in a lovely, quiet area. Had 7 nights here and loved every minute. Food was good - a decent selection every day, and different theme every evening which was nice. It was sad to see they still feel the need to cater to childish food habits (chicken and chips were always available... Sigh...) despite the delicious local and foreign food options they were serving up. Always lots of fresh fruit available, too. Pool was lovely and cool which was much needed in the 30 degree heat we had! Never had an issue getting a sunbed or a parasol despite always going down after breakfast. Entertainment in the evenings was always amusing, made better by the lovely Aida who spends her day roping you into games, then the evening roping you into a quiz or karaoke! Finally, the wellness centre. Had a full body massage on day 3 and my goodness was it amazing. My shoulders and back haven't felt so relaxed in years! All in all, a real gem of a hotel and we will definitely be back!
