Hotel 07 Tenerife

Very disappointing holiday, with one standout member of staff We recently stayed here for a two-week all-inclusive holiday, booked as a 4-star experience, and unfortunately the overall standard was nowhere near what we expected. There were a number of issues throughout our stay which seriously affected our enjoyment of the holiday. The food was one of the biggest disappointments. We found the quality very poor and, as a result, I barely ate during our stay. On one occasion, the chicken I was served appeared visibly pink and inadequately cooked in the centre, which completely put me off eating the food. There were also snacks that were of such poor quality that they were effectively inedible. Hygiene and maintenance were another concern. We saw what appeared to be a mouse running inside the hotel, and we also witnessed a bird sitting on/next to the food serving area. The toilets were dirty on occasions and had to be cleaned after we raised the issue. Around the pool there were missing tiles, areas that appeared to have mould and loungers that were broken or in poor condition. We also had some uncomfortable experiences regarding staff treatment. At times we felt we were treated differently because we are English, and there were interactions that made my partner particularly uncomfortable. There was also an incident where we were asked to move from sunbeds because the lifeguard appeared to be reserving a large number of them for a group of young girls. As paying guests, we found this very unfair. On our first day there was also a protest directly outside the hotel, which we understood to be connected with the hotel and concerning a member of staff. There were police present and signs being held. While we appreciate that situations like this may not always be within the hotel's control, it was unsettling to experience this immediately upon arrival. Unfortunately, by the end of the holiday the cumulative effect of all these issues had a significant impact on our enjoyment. There were times when I found myself simply going back to the room and sleeping because I was so fed up with the situation, and we seriously considered returning home early. One big positive — Fabio ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I do want to give special praise to Fabio from the entertainment team. He was, without doubt, the best member of staff at the hotel. Fabio was friendly, approachable, positive and genuinely made an effort with guests. His attitude and personality stood out, and he was one of the few people who made us feel welcome during what was otherwise a very disappointing stay. He deserves recognition for the effort he puts into his job and the way he interacts with guests. It is a shame that the overall experience did not match the standard we expected, because people like Fabio show that the hotel does have staff who genuinely care about the guest experience. Unfortunately, based on our experience, we would not return to this hotel or recommend it as a 4-star all-inclusive resort. Fabio, however, deserves a special mention and our thanks for being a bright spot during a very disappointing holiday.

Just back from my holiday at O7 Tenerife, and I had a lovely and relaxing stay. The hotel is simple but efficient, and most importantly, it is very clean. The food is more about quality than quantity—there may not be a huge variety of choices, but what is available is good. The atmosphere is very calm and relaxing, perfect if you want to switch off and enjoy your holiday. A very special mention to Vicente, the receptionist, who was absolutely amazing. He was always friendly, welcoming and professional, and nothing ever seemed too much trouble for him. He was always happy to answer any questions, provide useful information and make sure guests felt comfortable and looked after. His helpful attitude and warm personality really made a difference to our stay. Fabio, the animator, was also fantastic! He is great at filling your day with activities if you want to join in, and he can give you lots of suggestions for wonderful places to visit around Tenerife. The hotel is located on a hill, so it is easy enough to walk down the stairs to reach the tourist centre, but the walk back up can be a bit challenging! However, Tenerife itself is quite hilly in many areas, so be prepared for some walking. Overall, a very enjoyable stay in a clean, peaceful hotel with fantastic staff. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a calm and relaxing holiday! 🌴☀️

Julia and Vicente were the best. Always happy to help us having the best time and expirience giving us the best advises and guidance to really bring our holiday to the top level. They really showed us the amazing culture of the island. Will miss it. Would surely come back. Fabio has made our expirience at hotel better with his acqua gym and stretching courses and games and entertainment. He also pointed us to explore amazing places that otherwise would have never found like the bolullo beach. Very friendly and on top. Thank you for everything. They make the place and expirience better.

We had a wonderful experience at this hotel, and a special thank-you goes to Eti. Eti is incredibly kind, caring, generous, and welcoming, and she made us feel genuinely looked after throughout our stay. We would also like to thank the other receptionists, who were all very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The whole reception team and the restaurant staff created such a positive atmosphere and made us feel at home. The hotel itself is very lovely, comfortable, and well maintained, we have been to many in Puerto de la Cruz but this one has a very calm and welcoming energy! and the food was absolutely delicious. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily return. Thank you, Eti, and thank you to the entire team for such a memorable experience.
