Catalonia Punta Del Rey

Basic hotel, the rooms are basic, not very modern or super clean but adequate. the all inclusive is pretty good as far as all inclusives go, one of the best we’ve been to. The entertainment is ok, the staff try really hard to get people involved and having a good time, but that kind of entertainment isn’t for me. I like to find a quiet spot. The Adults only pool is quiet and you can always get a bed. We never went to the family pool but we did see people queuing before 6am to rush for a bed. Drinks selection is decent enough again. The hotel is a 10/15 min walk to the beach with bars and restaurants. It’s a hilly walk, ok for us but some would struggle.

We had such a lovely stay at this hotel and honestly couldn’t fault it! From the moment we arrived, the staff were so friendly, welcoming and helpful. Everyone always had a smile on their face and made us feel comfortable throughout our stay. The food was really good with a great variety of choices, so there was always something different to enjoy. We also really enjoyed the activities at the hotel, which gave us plenty to do during the day and made the holiday even more enjoyable. I also wanted to mention one of the male members of staff who really stood out to us. Unfortunately, I didn’t catch his name, but he was always so friendly, polite and welcoming whenever we saw him. He really helped make our experience even better and deserves recognition for how lovely he was with guests. Overall, we had a brilliant time and really enjoyed the atmosphere, food, activities and especially the lovely staff. Thank you to everyone who made our stay so enjoyable! We would definitely recommend this hotel and would happily come back again.

As always a wonderful holiday, staff are lovely and so friendly, even remember you too, rooms are always cleaned really well and maids are polite. Food is great and always plentiful and topped up regularly. Evening Entertainment is always top notch aswell and very good. It’s worth upgrading to premium as gives you access to the whirlpools that overlook the sea. Location is nice and quiet with a short walk to the local town which has everything you could want. Bus service from outside hotel is excellent and with a 10euro day card can be in Los Cristianos within an hour and half for a bit of a hectic uplift lol.

Room and hotel very dated, severe lack of sunbeds also life guards refuse to remove people's towel on sunbeds even though no one used sunbed for the 4hrs we where there sharing 1 sunbed B etween 4 people. Not really good enough when I have s disability. There are like 2 disability sunbed that's it. Kept servicing two very drunk ladies who where so drunk by 1pm they couldn't get out if the pool, where extremely obnoxious to other guests and the life guards did nothing even when they almost drowned. Then carried on serving them. To be honest it was shocking. Some of the rooms are proper grim, especially 207 which is right over the disco, bins, skip and storage unit 100z% guaranteed no sleep!? The positive was the food was very good in the buffet restaurant and Jules the rep Is a star. Avoid young male receptionist with glasses makes out he a manager but not. He is noralky doing evening check ins yeb just him he's quite rude and unhelpful. You can be waiting 2+hrs to be check into the hotel it's snail pace. The entertainment and restaurant staff work damn hard the aqua fit is good fun. Thete are a lot of things that need changing twicking definitely not 4*
