Barcelo Tenerife Royal Level

Wonderful hotel with lovely staff. Food and service are excellent. Only here for 3 nights but it’s so easy to relax. Pools are lovely and our room is beautiful. So clean with little robots cleaning the grounds!! Tried the Breeze bar for lunch today and cannot fault it. The team were lovely. Lore, Yeray, Cristo and Ale made it a lovely lunchtime break from the sun. Service and food were exceptional.

Lovely place, excellent food. Superb service provided by Loredana at Breeze bar, who was both attentive, warm, fast and very friendly. Would highly recommend the poke Bowl and kids said the burger was one of their best ever and the hotdog was their best ever. We loved it so much, we went back again and very likely will be back again before we go home. For the quality of the food, I would class this as good value.

The hotel is beautiful, spacious and has many pools and nice places to relax. Branded drinks are included, and housekeeping was very good. However, we did not feel it was worth five stars. The Royal Level restaurant no longer exists; there is now only a separate area inside the regular restaurant with no sea view, while regular guests have a better view now. This is still shown differently on the website, app and maps, which feels misleading. It was also not mentioned during check-in. Our shower had very poor water pressure and the handheld shower leaked badly. We reported it, but nothing was fixed. Maintenance in general could also be better: several toilet locks did not work and there were damaged wooden floorboards with holes. You need to reserve sunbeds in the morning, and staff do not seem to enforce the rules. We saw people reserving multiple beds in both the sun and shade. Royal Level poolside service was nice, but staff did not come around regularly everyday, the ordering app did not work and this was not explained anywhere. The Royal Level reception was also closed during our whole vacation without clear information. The evening entertainment was disappointing compared with other resorts, and we missed more atmosphere or pool parties during the day. Music at the Royal Level pool (DJ) was so quiet you could barely hear it. We still had a nice holiday, but considering the price and five-star rating, we would not return.

We have had an amazing stay at Barceló Tenerife Royal Level. From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding, with all staff being friendly, welcoming and always willing to help. The Royal Level experience made our holiday feel extra special, with exclusive areas that were peaceful, relaxing and never overcrowded. The rooms were spacious, modern and impeccably clean, with housekeeping maintaining a very high standard throughout our stay. The food was excellent, offering plenty of variety at every meal, and the à la carte menus were a real highlight, providing delicious, high-quality dishes and a fantastic dining experience. One of our favourite aspects of the Royal Level was the pool area. The Bali beds and thick, comfortable sun lounger mattresses made relaxing by the pool an absolute dream and added an extra touch of luxury to our stay. The hotel itself is beautiful, with stunning grounds, fantastic pools and a lovely atmosphere throughout. We couldn’t fault our experience and would highly recommend the Royal Level to anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing holiday in Tenerife. We will definitely be returning!
