Bakour Lanzarote Splash

Overall, we had a pleasant stay at the hotel. It is a good choice for families with children, as the water slides and pools kept our kids entertained every day. The staff was generally friendly, and the hotel has good potential. However, there are a few important issues that should be addressed. The food was decent, but after a few days it became quite repetitive. Another problem was that some of the most popular dishes, especially grilled meat, were prepared in limited quantities. On several occasions, the food ran out before everyone had the opportunity to take some, which was disappointing for an all-inclusive hotel. The biggest negative point, however, was the pool area. There are simply not enough sunbeds and umbrellas for the number of guests staying at the hotel. Every morning people have to rush to reserve a place, and even then there is no guarantee that you will keep it. What disappointed us the most was that if we left our sunbeds for a short time to have lunch or take a break, we sometimes returned to find that our umbrella had been removed and given to another guest. This is not acceptable. Guests should not have to worry about losing their place just because they went to eat or left for a short while. The hotel should invest in more sunbeds and umbrellas instead of moving them from one guest to another. Everyone pays for their holiday and deserves to enjoy the pool area comfortably without unnecessary stress. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, especially because our children had a wonderful time. However, improving the food variety and, most importantly, increasing the number of sunbeds and umbrellas would make a huge difference and significantly improve the experience for future guests.

We are checking out today after a fantastic stay and wanted to thank the whole team for making our holiday so memorable. A special mention to Javi, who was amazing with the kids and made sure they had a great time every day. Carolina, Dani, Tibo and Mireia were also incredible with the children always friendly, energetic and engaging. The food was outstanding throughout our stay, with plenty of variety and excellent quality at every meal. We would also like to thank Salem, who was always so welcoming and helpful when bringing guests to their tables. His kindness and professionalism really stood out. The staff here truly make the difference, and their hard work and dedication created a wonderful experience for our family. We leave with great memories and would happily recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and family-friendly holiday. Thank you all, and we hope to return again in the future!

Perfect family resort I have absolutely nothing to complain. This is the perfect resort for a stress free family vacation with small kids: kids pools, lots of slides, the layout of the resort, family apartments, cleanliness, comfort, excellent food, nice staff. I was especially surprised by how delicious and varied the all inclusive food was. The only negative is the distance to center/beach - 14 min on very hilly terrain but we managed even with a stroller. And the noise level...well it's a family resort full of screaming and laughing kids, so don't come here for relaxing time by the pool. Nevertheless, I didn't find it too noisy, my sensitive kid went to sleep at noon just fine, even if the windows faced the pool side. You can opt for a specific room for an extra fee, I highly recommend it if you need a quieter room (don't choose one near the terrace/restaurant where the night animation is or one facing the road). The most family friendly location: market, pharmacy, public parking spots, rental car office, laundromat adjacent to the hotel. We were here for the Ironman and although the distance to start/finish is not ideal, it's perfect if you come with kids/family, rooms are big, you have a terrace for your bike, food is awesome.

We stayed at Bakour Splash Lanzarote from 27th Apr to 4th May and honestly couldn’t fault it from the moment we stepped inside. It’s so easy to get to from the airport which was a big bonus after travelling.The atmosphere straight away was lovely and welcoming and the staff on arrival were so friendly and helpful. As soon as we got there I just knew we would be looked after and definitely be coming back again. The hotel was clean, the rooms were nice and clean and really spacious. I also liked that the resort wasn’t massive with loads of floors everywhere. It felt more personal and relaxing, and it was easy to meet people and socialise because you kept seeing the same friendly faces around the hotel. My daughter absolutely loved the slides and the bigger pool. There was fun going on in the pool and the evening entertainment was top notch. The animation team were honestly amazing and such an asset to the whole hotel team. Special mention to Javi the animation chief for being fantastic at entertaining all the kids and my daughter who really enjoyed the games and playing around with him. You can tell the team are really passionate about what they do and they were absolutely brilliant with the kids. The kids club was also fun although my daughter preferred to be in the pool all day everyday. The drinks selection was really good too with plenty of non& alcoholic choices. The buffet food was good with variety and tasted home cooked, not too repetitive like some hotels. Even my picky child always found something she enjoyed eating which says a lot 🫶🏼 Overall we had such a lovely holiday and would happily return again. Highly recommend for families looking for a fun, friendly and relaxing stay in Lanzarote
