To whom it may concern, I have emailed you a couple of times via your website regarding booking golf for a 3-day stay at your hotel for 4 guests. I have also tried calling. I have had no reply and cannot connect to your reception. I am concerned that the reason I booked your hotel was for the golf. Can someone reply to me and confirm if you have golf available? Very relaxing and luxurious hotel in the Old Colonial style (high ceilings, wide verandahs, quiet but very friendly & efficient staff). Facilities are excellent and you do not need to play golf to have a great time (I do play, but elected not to in order to see more of the island).
Luxury, charming and cozy. Makes you feel at home with all luxury details. The restaurant is excellent, the staff is discreet, helpful and warming. We have repeated twice and will come back again.
Service and food was very poor! Service specially headwaiter was arrogant etc spoil holiday feeling! Terrace was booked one year ahead, if you didint know, you got table some coner or inside anyway - not nice system!! Golf coarce restaurant lunch was something what restaurant never should offef to customers!
One of the best hotels that we have visited in the world. We are not golfers as the majority of guests are but that does not detract from any part of the experience. Many hotels bill themselves as 5 star and are not; Las Madrigueras is a true 5 star establishment. Rooms have fantastic views, with spacious balconies and quality furniture. The whole hotel has shaded seating area throughout. It was 34/35 degrees for most of our stay, so this was a godsend. Restaurant and food quality and choice are superb. The pool is wonderful and never busy, if you like to swim. Finally the staff. Exemplary, friendly, professional and happy. The clientele are mainly well heeled Europeans and British. If you want a quiet, unspoiled break, this is a great choice. Not for everyone but most of the guests have been back here for the last ten years or more. I think they like to keep it a secret... and no wonder!
