Doubletree By Hilton Canakkale

We had a wonderful stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Çanakkale with my parents and friends. The hotel was modern, comfortable and very clean, with excellent facilities and friendly service throughout. A special mention must go to Bihter from Customer Relations, who was absolutely wonderful, warm, attentive and always happy to assist. She made us feel genuinely welcome and made our stay even more enjoyable. We would happily stay again.

The hotel itself, including the pools and seaside views, is exquisite. The area outside the hotel has beautiful atmosphere. However, the food at the hotel is tasteless (including the breakfast) and the coffee is also really bad. Room service takes atleast 30 minutes for a simple coffee, even though the hotel is not full at all. Service in the restaurant is also very slow. Receptionists at night don’t speak English and it’s very difficult to communicate. Receptionists during the day are very helpful, however, we didn’t have WiFi for 1.5 days because there was a WiFi issue in an entire block of the hotel. We complained but no alternative or explanation was provided. Overall, great property but bad service.

Stayed 3 nights at this hotel. Location was great, lovely looking over the water. I would say the rooms are average. Beds were comfortable, bathroom was clean and quite new. Supplies in the room were average, no tissues, no extra toilet paper and air conditioning didn't work that well. Staff at the reception were very friendly and obliging, nothing was a problem. I would recommend this hotel but it is not 5 star.

Beautiful hotel and wonderful staff. We stayed 3 days and enjoyed the facilities and delicious breakfast! We especially would like to recognize “Mehmet Ali Ergin” for his excellent service…along with the entire staff! We recommend this hotel highly!
