We had a fun few hours exploring Cambridge and taking a closer look at buildings and points of interest. Very well organised via the website.

Great walk around Cambridge solving clues and going to places we’ve ever seen before.
We had a great afternoon and found parts of Cambridge that we would otherwise have missed. We are looking forward to trying another city soon!
Saw bits of Cambridge we’d never have found and enjoyed the challenge of each clue and the titbits of historical context. Good length for us (5 miles in 2 hours?). Happy to explore other places in the same way.
Amazing walking tour of Cambridge. Covered all the popular sites with interesting facts, small shops and areas that are unseen or missed in Cambridge. We had an amazing time answering clues, learning about the city all while enjoying the sunshine and walking. Great sight seeing and had so much fun! Tested our skills and brains! Thank you
As a first time visitor to Cambridge it was a great way to see the city and learn some of its history. The clues were fun to work out and we only need to use hints a couple of times!
Great few hours fun in the sunshine
We had so much fun! This helps us explore the city and really insightful :)
We did the treasure hunt with our parents, it was a cold rainy day but we had so much fun. Well worth it!
Got to learn so much about Cambridge doing this fun treasure hunt! Got to see cool places which we would’ve missed! Thanks!
Great interactive guided tour of Cambridge. Young people in the group loved the interactive element. Learned lots of a city I thought I knew. Our host was great
This was our 3rd treasure hunt - we've previously done Birmingham and Chester. It was really good fun! We got to see some new areas of the city and had a lovely walk along the backs of the colleges. The clues are challenging but solvable - there was just one where we couldn't get close enough to make out the required information. Some nice pubs and cafes on the route as well.
This was our first Treasure Hunt and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Saw parts of Cambridge we'd never seen before, learnt alot about the city along the way. Bumped into numerous groups doing it as well, everyone we spoke to said how much fun it was. We can't wait to try other cities on our travels in future, cannot recommend enough.
So much fun and learnt some interesting facts. It's a good way of getting to know the place at your own pace and some great eating spots recommended.
My daughter in law and I had great fun. We laughed, we acknowledged how great we were. Only problem was beating the phone charge. We were warned but it ended up being such fun getting to the lazy with 1% left . Highly recommend
Treasure hunt was great fun, took as a couple of clues to get the hang of it and the hints really helped til we did. A great date activity and we’d definitely do another one in a different location - highly recommend!
Tried this as a different day out with my sister. Although we both know Cambridge well, it took us down lanes and turnings we would never have taken otherwise. Great fun solving the clues which were occasionally quite tricky. Stopped for refreshment at Fitzbilly’s on the way round. Would recommend this treasure hunt, we had a great time!
The Treasure Hunt challenge was excellent. Really informative, not too arduous and just the right level of difficulty for all the players including two teenagers aged 12 and 14 to enjoy
Really fun experience. Having grown up in Cambridge I'd never walked down several of the roads on the hunt and our children aged 7 and 10 really enjoyed it all too with the clues at just the right level and refreshment stops appreciated!
Good fun, lots of information. Clues were set just right, some made us work think more than others which was fun. It was nice not to have a time limit as it meant e could stop asking the way.
Very fun hunt in Cambridge. Took us a little while to complete, but once we got started we got the hang of how the clues worked. Would recommend and do again
A fab way to take an leisurely around Cambridge and find out a bit of its history along the way. You really have to keep your eyes open to solve all the clues! Great fun. I would recommend it.
We used Treasure Hunt Cambridge for our work social day and it was great. Very well thought out and clues are easy to understand, though does make you think (which is good). Would recommend for all and will use this company again for a different location. Thanks again!
An excellent way to spend the day with teenagers and/or adults admiring the history, architecture and river views. Lots to be learnt but too challenging for young children who got fed up with us adults trying to work out the answer and communicating via an app. It was a cold day so my mum in a wheelchair wasn’t the ideal treasure hunter! Be mindful of who participates and youll have a great time learning about Cambridge 👍🏻
We had 21 people split into teams - folks outside the UK on their first trip to Cambridge to Cambridge born and bred. We all had great fun, got to see the historic centre of Cambridge and ended up in the pub. We even learned stuff. What's not to like? All you need is a smartphone and some comfy shoes. Highly recommended.
We had an amazing time, I definitely recommend it! We're able to have fun as well as discovering Cambridge; it meant that our kids (8 and 11) walked without complaining and enjoyed the city.
We had a really lovely time following the clues around Cambridge despite the rain! The information was easy to follow and we could go at our own pace. Our children aged 10 and 13 were able to fully take part and it kept us all entertained. We would definitely do another when exploring another city!
We had great fun doing this treasure hunt. It took us to places we might not have seen by simply wandering around the city. We were grateful that we were able to get hints as they really helped us with some of the clues! It was good to have the flexibility to complete the hunt at our own pace and without the pressure of time restrictions (especially as we made a few impromptu “refreshment” stops along the way!) We would recommend this experience and would definitely do others at different locations.
This is our second Treasure Hunt this year and we loved it. It’s a fabulous way of seeing a new City, and takes you down streets and paths you wouldn’t necessarily find on your own. The clues are nicely challenging and encourage you to look up and notice even small details. Such a fun way to spend an afternoon.
Lovely few hours cracking the clues and seeing and learning about some of the interesting parts of Cambridge would recommend
It was so much fun, the views were amazing and thoroughly enjoyed learning about Cambridge. We did it as a team building exercise and loved every minute of it.
We had a day out in Cambridge and found this activity. It was great! Thought it might be a bit cheesy tbh but it’s a really fun way to see more of Cambridge The whatsapp style of communication is really easy and user friendly. The tour kept us amused for the correct amount of time. Plenty of time for coffee, lunch and beer stops too Relaxed, interesting, and engaging.
We were a small group of 3 ladies and found this treasure really enjoyable. There is no rush to finish so when a clue ended up at a pub is would have been rude not to enjoy a drink in the beer garden . A couple of clues we had to get hints for but other than that we felt we did quite well . Its easy to use on our phones which was a bonus.
Fantastic way to see hide Cambridge and discover lots of different facts regarding the history of the colleges etc. Very enjoyable
Great fun. Did in an extended family group aged 24-75 which worked really well. Took it in turns to read the info in a pirate accent which was fun. Most of us are from Cambridge and we still learnt a thing or too! Very well put together.
Fantastic treasure hunt, loved solving the cryptic clues and seeing the amazing buildings around Cambridge, it takes you to places that you wouldn’t normally find yourself just wandering, lots of refuelling spots on hunt aswell and you can pause you’re game.
Great event and shows you some lovely places, maybe take into account wheelchair users a few spots a little hard to get around
First time going Cambridge and we wanted to explore it our own way so saw this and thought Wow this sounds fun. We really loved it. Easy to follow and helped us with hints if we got stuck. There were times when we were in the right place but didn’t see the clue which just shows how little you actually do see when you aren’t taking it all in. We learnt a lot about Cambridge, got to see some stunning sights and even had a good laugh at our own blindness. Highly recommend. Both adults and enjoyed it but it’s perfectly fine for any age groups.
Really interesting and fun treasure hunt! We even learnt a little bit of history along the way!! The clues were pitched just right, tricky but not impossible and it was great to be ‘guided’ round some of the hidden features of Cambridge. Loved this and will def be doing another!!
A great way to see some unseen parts of Cambridge as well as a few bits you do see in the guidebooks. Lovely day out exploring. Very flexible and easy to arrange. Plenty of places for food and good views. Ideal for a pram!
Such a fun afternoon for all the family. Brilliant clues, and a great pace to keep everyone interested and engaged - kids aged 8 and 11 really enjoyed it and are keen to do another one in other cities. Thank you!
A really fun way of seeing and learning about this fascinating city. The clues were fun to work out and the nature of the treasure hunt allowed for essential café visits and other spontaneous distractions. It was great to “hop in and out”, as it were. Would highly recommend.
The route was amazing and was a great way to learn a little more about cambridge! I wanted to show my cousins around who were visiting for the day and this was the perfect choice. would definitely recommend!
Congratulations on creating a really amusing and instructive way of spending an afternoon. Teenagers to Grandparents all enjoyed themselves.
Had a brilliant time trying to work out the clues and saw all the best bits of Cambridge. Challenging at times but rewarding when you get the right answer!! Great activity.
Very fun activity! Learnt fun facts and was a great way to see the beautiful city. Easy to follow, an ideal experience for a sunny day
We live locally and this was a really great way to learn a bit more about our city and see the main sights! Being able to stop along the way and go at our own pace was nice and the solving the clues was challenging enough but not too hard and good fun! Would definitely recommend :)
Great fun, the clues were just the right level of difficulty to be a challenge but doable, with some interesting facts and history to discover.
A great activity for a company meet-up. Just the right length and level of challenge, and plenty of opportunity to have a drink. The first couple of clues seemed the hardest but maybe that's because we got the idea of what we were looking for. A nice and 'different' way to see Cambridge, and makes you look at details that you would normally walk straight past. It worked well both for locals and for some who had never visited Cambridge before. Recommended.
Great fun and a lovely way to see the city at your own pace. Doesn’t require any prerequisite knowledge of Cambridge. Teen family bonded!
