Creepy Cambridge - Cambridge's Best Ghost Walk!!

Peter was an incredibly knowledgeable and fun guide. He had a great mix of history and ghost stories. Showing the pics made it more interesting too. I would highly recommend this tour and Peter for the guide. It’s a shame at the end you can’t go into one of the rooms in the colleges as this would be a fabulous immersive and to the tour. Wear warm clothes if you go in November!!

We were on this tour with my friend and we absolutely loved it! Our guide, Peter, was a great story teller. He was showing us all the hidden gems on the way and he was making funny jokes. It is impossible to not enjoyed his way of telling the stories. He was always making sure that everyone was hearing him. We absolutely loved chatting with him between the stops, he was really friendly and happy to answer to our questions. He knows a great deal about the ghost stories in Cambridge! As non-native speakers of English, we were happy that he was speaking clearly and that he was explaining the references that may be unknown for foreigners. The tour is suitable for everyone loving ghosts stories, the length is perfect (around +1h30), the group was bigger than usual but still a not too many people. The atmosphere was really good, the other people were friendly. As we were doing it at night, we can say that we were felling safe and at the same time really into the mood of the stories. The price is totally in accordance with the quality of the experience. I totally recommend this adventure!

Really good tour of Cambridge- we live in Cambridge and the amount of awesome stories that Peter was able to bring to life for us in a way that was engaging and really informative - we would highly recommend this to anyone.

Peter was our guide for 5 pm Saturday tour. We were a little unlucky with the weather, it rained the entire 90 minutes of the tour. However despite that Peter was absolutely amazing. We enjoyed every minute of the walk, the history of charming streets and buildings and of course the spooky stories. My daughter is 9 years old, she was the only child in the group. Peter ensured she was included as much at possible and she found it fascinating. Thank you very much indeed!

James was our guide. He clearly knew the area well. We went to places we wouldn't of know to go to had we been on our own. There was a great atmosphere and the event was well organised. We loved it.

Brilliant tour! Peter was an excellent guide, funny, full of energy and a great storyteller. I loved the creepy tales and the dark history behind Cambridge's old streets, and the 2 hours flew by. Highly recommend it.

Great way to explore this city on our first day. James was a pleasure and shared so much information about the city….How can someone remember all this? We were shown areas that we would have otherwise missed with a few gems on the way. Eg the window at the Eagle…..?

Great 90 mins of fun with our guide Peter, we were a group of 20 scouts who all thoroughly enjoyed the walk around the historic centre, stoping off at various locations for Peter’s storytelling of spooky supernatural goings-on!

Fun and informative tour about Cambridge’s history, with a ghost/death theme, taking about famous people who lived (and died) in Cambridge, and Cambridge’s most famous ghosts. I learned a lot of interesting facts about the city’s history. Family-friendly.

The tour guide Peter was very friendly, funny and knowledgeable about Cambridge and it's ghosts. The tour took almost 2 hours and we visited a lot of different places most of which were after the sun had set, which added to the atmosphere of the tour. I would thoroughly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Cambridge.

This tour started in the light and finished as the dark was creeping in. Peter was an excellent guide, combining 'ghosty' stories with loads of great facts a bout the history of Cambridge. While not scary the tour was sufficiently creepy that you were left wondering if a 'true' ghost lay behind one of the many creepy stories.

We had James as our tour guide. We have never visited Cambridge before and didn't know what to expect. It was a very interesting and engaging tour. My partner does not believe in the paranormal, but despite this he still really enjoyed it. We also had some issues and were slightly late. Thankfully our tour guide was contacted about this and accommodated us. Which was appreciated. Would recommend Terrible Tours.

I did both the Ghost Tour and the Science Tour with Peter, and I absolutely loved them both! I learned so much about Cambridge’s history, as well as the amazing scientific discoveries that have taken place here. Peter is a fantastically well-prepared guide who is clearly very passionate about Cambridge’s history and science, and that enthusiasm really comes across in his tours.
