Stayed at the Cambridge Belfry Hotel and Spa for my girlfriends birthday. The Spa staff were very kind and accommodating and the spa facilities were very clean, well kept and ideal temperature for a stay during the hot weather. We both had Spa treatments and made use of the pool, sauna, steam rooms and gym. Spa treatments as part of a package were fairly priced and very relaxing. The gym is small but has enough equipment in it. The suite we stayed in was luxurious and could not find a fault with it. Very clean and spacious bedroom and bathroom with more ammeneties than expected. The size of the suite was a very welcome surprise. The information needed for room service, breakfast, etc was very clear. We also had a meal and breakfast at the hotel. The meal was delicious and part of a package, only drinks had to be bought separately. Breakfast was a standard buffet breakfast but filled the gap with a decent variety of breakfast foods. The location isn't too far from cambridge city centre but is most ideal if you have a car to get to the centre. The location means it is very quiet and you don't hear much external traffic We both had an excellent and relaxing time here. Would definitely recommend this hotel and spa and will likely be returning in the future.

A Very Good Stay at Cambridge Belfry Hotel & Spa Overall, we had a very good experience at the Cambridge Belfry Hotel & Spa. The rooms were clean, comfortable and a good size, which made our stay relaxing. The spa facilities were excellent, particularly the sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi. They were a great way to unwind and added to the overall experience. One of the big plus points for us was the EV charging facility available at the hotel. As we travelled in an electric car, having charging points on-site was extremely convenient and made our stay even more hassle-free. The hotel is well maintained, and overall we enjoyed our stay and would be happy to return. I’m giving the hotel 4 out of 5 stars. I would have given 5 stars if the bed quality had been better. Unfortunately, the bed wasn’t as comfortable as we expected, which affected our overall sleep quality. Overall, a very good hotel and spa experience, with excellent facilities and the added convenience of EV charging. The main area for improvement would be the quality and comfort of the beds.
I spend the day at Belfry Spa with my bridal party. The staff are friendly and offered an amazing service. The Spa has great facilities, we used the jacuzzi, pool, sauna, relaxation room. We also had spa treatment such as facial, full body scrub, wellbeing massage. I particularly commend Victoria (Therapist) for the wellbeing and facial treatment she did. I left feeling light as a feather. All the knots on my shoulder and back are completely gone. We also enjoyed two meals at the restaurant and bar and were offered prosecco both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. The salmon and salad, soup option is great and we also had fish fingers wraps with fries, absolutely delicious 😁. Thank you again for an amazing experience and for my flowers❤️.
We enjoyed a weekend away, although unfortunately it didn't get off to the best start. The young lady on reception wasn't particularly welcoming or engaging, and her manner almost had us considering checking out and cancelling our stay before it had even begun. The room was adequate, but for the price paid it could really do with an overhaul. Even many Premier Inns now offer air conditioning, and this is something that would certainly improve the comfort of the rooms. That said, the hotel's location is excellent and ideally situated for an easy trip into Cambridge. The photographs of the swimming pool, taken with a wide-angle lens, give the impression of a large leisure area. In reality, the pool is quite modest, and there was a noticeable lack of seating around the poolside. With only a few families using the facilities, guests were already struggling to find somewhere to sit. The gym was excellent and made for a very enjoyable early morning workout. It was well equipped and one of the highlights of our stay. The food was very good, and the breakfast buffet offered a wide selection of quality items. One area that could be improved is the availability of quiet spaces for guests wanting to read or simply relax, as these were difficult to find. The standout member of staff during our visit was Nathan. He was personable, engaging and always smiling while working behind the bar and delivering food. He is a real credit to the hotel. It's encouraging to see the hotel investing in young staff, and hopefully other team members can be mentored to deliver the same high standard of customer service that Nathan naturally provides.
Lovely sized rooms with great bathrooms. The breakfast is nice, but could do with more picky bits like muffins. Our room was behind the lifts so we could unfortunately hear every time they were used. The spa is nice, but did feel like an old man’s club midweek but that’s not really the fault of the hotel.
