Our guide Michael was wonderful and provided lots of interesting facts about the pyramids and various exhibits in the museum. The included lunch was delicious and the restaurant staff made us feel very welcome. Mohammed picked up us from the airport and was very helpful to us as we progressed through passport control and customs. Our driver Rafat always had something to drink on hand, kept his van very clean, and was very friendly to talk to. Everyone went above and beyond to make our trip easy and enjoyable.

Travel tour guide will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo to visit The Great Pyramids of Giza, start by visiting the pyramid of Cheops which is the only survivor of the Seven Great Wonders of the ancient world, the size of the largest pyramid of Cheops is 137 meters high & measures 230 meters along each side, it was built as a tomb, the shape possibly intended to help the spirit of the dead pharaoh to rise to heaven (that was the reason of the pyramid shape), then move to visit pyramid of Chephren, it's the best preserved of the three main Giza Pyramids the top part still retains the original facing of smoothly finished stone giving an idea of how the pyramids would originally have appeared, beside pyramid of Chephren will see the Great Sphinx, carved out of natural rocky outcrop, then you will see the pyramid of Mykerinus the smallest one of the three pyramids, this pyramid is partly dressed with pink granite slabs and then visit the Valley temple.
continue to have your lunch at a local Egyptian restaurant, then move to visit the Egyptian Museum in Cairo, located in north of Tahrir square, it's the richest museum of Egyptian antiquities in the whole world, it contains pharaonic treasures over 5,000 years ago & it is open daily, the building is rectangular with a large rotunda on the ground floor containing massive exhibits including colossal statues of Ramses II, the best views of them can be obtained looking down from the upper galleries, the gold and alabaster trappings from the tomb of Tutankhamun draw the crowds, many of the Tutankhamun tomb treasures have boon on display in museums round the world even the golden mask, yet one exhibit has always remained in Cairo, there is no visit to Egypt is complete without a trip to go through this magnificent collection of rare jewelry & treasures of Tutankhamun, you can visit The Royal mummies room (additional cost) finish your tour and transfer back to your hotel in Cairo.
Cairo City: It’s the capital of Egypt & one of the largest cities in Africa & Middle East which built more than 1000 years old ago. It’s very rich of historical sites (Pharaonic, Coptic & Islamic sites) which need at least 02 full days to cover just the major of its sites

We are just about to finish the Egypt leg of a 15 day Egypt and Jordan tour. So far I can not speak highly enough of Egypt Promotions and their staff. Have had had the pleasure of have tour leader extraordinaire “Samara” for two legs of our tour so far and he is amazing. Always with attention to detail to make sure things run smoothly. Always super friendly and knowledgeable and happy to go the extra mile. Also a special mention to our guides Mohamed and Samir - their knowledge of Egyptian history is exceptional!! Also a shout out to Rafaat, Mohamed and Wahab for their expert driving, negotiating the crazy Egyptian traffic and keeping us safe.
Best guides Michael & Sammy brilliant information about all the highlights of the tour. Visited all the best places, pyramids, temples, tombs, museums GEM a must, Abu Simbel, Luxor, camel rides, boat trip & Nile Cruise.
Fulfilling a Bucket-list experience, to feel, touch and enter the Great pyramid
This was an amazing tour. Adham was so knowledgeable and we saw so much. Recommend to all.
We had a good experience in cairo. Transfers from the arriving until the departure were very well organized. Only one day they were late due to traffic. Guide was good and explained everything very well. We cam recommend the company
Excellent 9 day trip arranged by our travel agent for Aswan, Nile cruise, Luxor, Kom Ombo, Valley of the Kings and Cairo. The local transfers were handled by "Egypt Promotion" and all of their local staff took Excellent care of us all the way from airport gates to hotels to attractions. Everything happened on-time. The staff spoke reasonably good English and were super helpful. Samara at Cairo was punctual, courteous and helpful. They stay in close communication with you via WhatsApp and respond promptly to any questions you post. Everywhere in Egypt people were polite. We never felt insecure at any time in any way. I would recommend Egypt highly.
I highly recommend this trip, it was a great experience. Being a solo female traveller I was worried about safety however my guide Abdulrahman Mohamed and the driver Mohamed Ragab were very professional and they went out of their way to make me feel safe and welcome. Abdul is very knowledgeable, patient and kind. He explained everything in detail and had easy to remember and playful references for the names of the sites, Kings, Queens and artefacts. The car was clean, air conditioned and always on time. Abdul and Mohamed went out of their way in making the trip a memorable one, making sure that I got the best deals at the market and the shops. The highlight of the trip was a detour to downtown Cairo for a bowl of khoshary and rice pudding.👌🏾😍
We had a few tours with our guide Abdulrahman Horus Mohamed. We visited - over the course of a few days - various places such as the pyramids, the Grand Egyptian Museum. Alexandria and the Khan Khalili market. These were all tours managed by the same company. Our guide Horus was very good and he really knows his history. He guided as very well through all the sites with detailed explanations. He also tried to make as comfortable as possible and the tours generally went very smoothly and efficiently. Kudos the to Horus and the drivers who took us to all these exciting places. However, one downside was when meals were not included in such tours. Here, the guide took us to places that pre-arranged meals were waiting for us. For example, in Alexandria we went to a seafood restaurant with a set menu - thus we had no choice or say in what we could eat. The meals were greatly overpriced and the quality of seafood was average. In fact, we were still hungry afterwards. Something similar happened when we went to Khan Khalili where we mentioned we would like to try some shwarmas. The guide had shwarmas arranged for us at a specific restaurant - again, we could not choose what we wanted ad also first have a look at prices! Thus when we arrived at the restaurant, the shwarmas were ready but at 3x the normal price! We again grossly overpaid. I am not sure what is at play in these cases but please beware of this! Thus, our advice would be to skip recommended meals or restaurants by the guide; firmly insist that the guide take you to a restaurant of YOUR choice where YOU can select your own meals and not be grossly overcharged for average meals.
We had an amazing day with our guide, Abdulrahman Mohammed. He showed us the pyramids and the GEM museum, and shared so much interesting history in a way that was easy to follow and really fun, he made sure we dont get overwhelmed as the museum is huge but made sure that we covered the most interesting and important bits. His knowledge of Egyptian history is incredible and second to none, and he added humour throughout, which made the tour even more enjoyable. He was also very professional and made sure we were comfortable the whole time. We had a great experience from start to finish and would highly recommend him to anyone visiting.
The tour company’s representatives were fantastic and made the arrival into Cairo through immigration snd onto our hotel a breeze. Whilst staying in Cairo we visited a lot of the attractions including the pyramids and the museum and our guide Karam was incredibly informative and had a great sense of humour. Thank you for making this part of the tour so good.
I had an absolutely unforgettable experience exploring Egypt, and a huge part of that was thanks to our incredible tour guide. From the moment the tour began, it was clear we were in expert hands. Our guide was not only deeply knowledgeable about Egypt’s rich history, but also passionate, engaging, and incredibly well-organized. We visited iconic landmarks like the Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx, the Egyptian Museum, and More. Each site came to life through the stories and historical insights our guide shared — it was like stepping back in time. What made the experience even more special was how our guide adapted to our pace, answered every question with enthusiasm, and made sure everyone felt safe, informed, and comfortable throughout. Beyond the history, our guide also helped us experience authentic local culture — from navigating bustling markets to enjoying traditional food and hidden gems we wouldn’t have found on our own. I can’t recommend this guide highly enough. If you’re planning a trip to Egypt and want to truly understand and appreciate the wonders of this beautiful country, this is the guide you want by your side.
Our family trip to Egypt was absolutely incredible, thanks to the amazing team who guided and supported us throughout. Every step of the journey was handled with care and professionalism. Special thanks to Samara, who warmly welcomed us in Cairo and went above and beyond when our return tickets were cancelled — staying with us the entire time and doing his best to help us sort it out. In Aswan, we were greeted by Zain, who made everything run smoothly and even arranged a cruise cabin upgrade with a breathtaking Nile view — a true highlight! Khaled gave us a brilliant tour of the Pyramids of Giza and the Egyptian Museum, sharing fascinating stories and taking incredible photos we’ll cherish forever. Ahmed, our guide in Aswan and Luxor, brought ancient history to life and made the experience fun and interactive. His attention to detail, cultural knowledge, and photography skills made every moment memorable. We also had a short but great experience with Hassan, who accompanied us to the local market and was always available when we needed assistance. All four drivers were excellent, getting us safely to and from each destination. Only minor feedback would be improved communication around schedule changes. Otherwise, the team was phenomenal. Highly recommend this agency — we left Egypt with full hearts and unforgettable memories!
Ibrahim and my tour guide, Hisham, were honestly the best. They pick me up from the airport, receive me from inside, help me out with my visa purchase, and I also private had a private car take me to my hotel. The next day, I got picked up from the hotel to go visit the great pyramids of Giza and later to the Egyptian museum. As a bonus I got to also see how they made the papyrus paper. I felt very safe and they were very professional. I loved Egypt very much!
12 Day Egypt Tour The Good: - Historic Sites - Accommodation & Resort on the Red Sea - Food - Tour buses used - Airport assistance The Bad: - Our tour guide Randa. Saleswoman more than a guide who pushed the excessive number of OVERPRICED options - Tour overloaded with 17 options. The original TripADead documentation only had one option - Long days of travel (because there were so many options) meant tiring days, having dinner as late as 9:30pm, missing out on the Nile cruise post-dinner entertainment, getting to bed early to manage the next long day on the road - "Mandatory" $USD10pp/day upfront tip (which we refused to pay) was outrageous for a developing country. And who knows where the money went. I am a seasoned traveller and this was my second time in Egypt. I do not recommend this tour.
This was my first time visiting Cairo, Egypt and the host, Samara, made it a spectacular experience. He got in contact with the members of the travel group that I was a part of prior to us arriving in Egypt to introduce himself. This was a foreshadowing of the high level of communication that I came to expect from him throughout the duration of the trip. Samara went above and beyond to provide each guest in his group with special gifts throughout the trip to ensure that we had everything that we needed. He is extremely knowledgeable on the processes to ensure a smooth transition for each guest from and to the airport, during each tours, and to prepare us for upcoming days and activities during the trip. He is extremely professional, efficient, and yet exudes a demeanor that put all the guests at ease and trusting of him. He is also very funny, which all made for a grand time during my visit to Cairo. I recommend Samara for greater duties and a promotion within the company he represents at the first opportunity. Every host should aim to be more like Samara.
Samara was so knowledgeable, kind and patient. Definitely recommend booking with him! He got us everyone on time, very protective and willing to help take pics and even join us in dancing ! Would definitely book again!
I had a layover in Egypt and decided to do a Cairo tour.Since I was by myself ,I was nervous in the beginning, but my tour leaderSamara,Tour guide and the driver made me comfortable. My tour leader Samara arrived to pick me up on time and did not leave until my immigration was complete and I went inside. Amazing experience!!!Will definately recommend anyone who is planning to go to Cairo.
The trip was properly organised, the bus provided for transportation was a very nice and comfortable one. Samara is such a nice and gentleman. He is friendly, professional and he's so knowledgeable.
It was such a memorable tour with the help of our tour guide SAMARA. He's such a wonderful, humble, intelligent guy, I love him for that. Am even planning another Egypt trip with my family because of him... He's wonderful, I gave him 10/10 for that.
Samara's warm and friendly demeanor made us feel welcome and excited during our tour. His passion for Egypt’s heritage was shone in every story he shared. He is An excellent tour guide we will always remember.
I had a nice time with my friends touring Egypt. Samara was there to give us the details of everything, crack some jokes and handle our outings perfectly. We had a nice time. 5 stars from me
It was an excellent and memorable experience. The tour guides (Samara and Michael) were super-friendly and nice. They took their time to explain the questions asked and show us around Cairo. I highly recommend them and would like to see them again this next time I visit.
I enjoyed the tours on this trip . Our tour guide Samara was friendly, calm and patient I enjoyed the pyramids and the camel riding the most
The entire experience was beautiful. We enjoyed our entire trip. Samara was exceptional and very helpful. Me Micheal was extremely informative. Wonderful experience all around.
Egypt Promotion very wonderful service. Well done for your amazing hospitality. From airport pick up in very clean luxuriant vehicles to awesome Tour Guides especially Samara. He is very helpful, very patient and professional and knows how to communicate marvelously. Thank you for having us in Sharm El Sheikh, we had an awesome stay. Best Regards: Chimini (Group Lead).
Exceptional Service Every Day. We booked a 12 day Wonders of Egypt Tour through My Holiday 2 (Australian Travel Agent) who used Egypt Promotion to bring our trip into reality. We were met at the Cairo airport before we even picked up our luggage by Mahmoud who swept us through entry requirements with great ease. We were then handed on to the fantastic Achmed - our main Egypt Promotion agent/rep who took exceptional care of us throughout our time in Egypt even when he was not with us, checking in every day to make sure all our accommodation, guides and sites met our expectations. He even arranged a room upgrade when the room of our first night at Barcelo Pyramids Hotel was not up to scratch. Our driver in Cairo was another Achmed, always getting us from point A to B in safety despite the insanity of Cairo traffic where all road rules are ignored. Our first full day in Cairo we were taken to the Pyramids (Paul went inside the Great Pyramid), Sphinx, a camel ride (I was terrified but great experience & views) and the Egyptian Museum (saw Tutankhamun’s mask, mummy case and many other of his treasures and artefacts with our Cairo guide Hesham giving us great information and answering every question. Achmed (agent) came with us to the train station to wait for our overnight train to Luxor, we were early so we chatted comfortably together about many subjects while we waited. The train was an interesting experience sleeping in a small cabin with bunkbeds but the night passed quickly. We were met at the station by Hisham Mohamed another Egypt Promotion agent, a young man with great ambitions who was a delight to spend time with and determined to make sure, like Achmed in Cairo, that our every need was met. We were taken straight to our boat the MS Blue Shadow III (our driver in Luxor was Mr Saiad) and were able to relax in comfort while we waited for check in time. Our cabin on the boat was wonderful, it could not have been more perfect, very comfortable beds & well appointed bathroom & storage and huge window looking out on The Nile. We were introduced to our incredible Egypologist tour guide Ismail Hassan, a man of exceptional talents and temperament who made history come alive for us every day on our Nile cruise as we visited Karnak, Luxor Temple, Edfu, Kom Ombo etc between Luxor and Aswan and then by car to and from the mind-blowing Abu Simbel temples (do not miss these!) - we also had a stunning balloon ride over Luxor with Gabriel & Khaled of Sindbad Balloons. It was sad to say goodbye to our boat & it’s wonderful staff and to the remarkable Ismail who was clearly well respected by everyone he met. Zane our Egypt Promotion agent in Aswan was great too, making sure we made our flight from Aswan back to Cairo with no problems where we were once again met by Achmed. It was like meeting old friends again, and we had lots of things to talk about, despite the fact that we were in touch with him everyday we were away. I had a touch of bad belly but everyone was so caring making sure I had medication and amenities to ease any problems without embarrassment. I’ve lost track of what we did on which day but we had another night in Cairo before roadtripping with our two Achmeds to Alexandria to see the Catatombs, Pillar of Pombay, Citadel of Qait Bay and the amazing new Library of Alexandria (a special side tour at my request) - our guide in our this coastal city was local Hosham, a great guide, very knowledgeable and passionate about the history. Our hotel was right by the water with great service & food. We had two more nights in Cairo with visits to more museums before we left, and we are so so grateful for all the help we received along the way from Achmed and the entire team of Egypt Promotion who made a special trip so easy. This tour was supposed to have a maximum of 10 people but it was only my husband and I as no one else had booked. We felt like royalty.
Tour guide was very knowledgeable about the history of Egypt. Very friendly and accommodating. Sightseeing in Egypt was an incredible experience.
It was a wonderful experience that you live once for life! Thank you all the guys Mahmoud, Mohamed and of course our tour guy Ahmed! 🙏 I loved the country and the people! They provided us a great accomodation at Conrad Hotel, a driver, security and whatever we needed they were there for us! I totally recommend them! I wish I come back one day!
We stayed 3 days in Cairo and had 3 different tours, which we really enjoyed. Our guide, Mahmud and the driver, Mohamed were very helpful. But the star was our tour guide, Ahmed, who made our day. Just talking with him and listening to his narratives is an experience in itself! Thank you all.
We had a great time with these people. Excellent professional and with very positive energy. Thank you very much Mr. Mahmoud & mr. Ahmed.
It was a lovely experience. We had three wonderful days in Cairo and Alexandria and it was the most suitable program that we could arrange. Our hosts were so kind and thoughtful and really treated us like their children. Thank you so much!! Hope we see you again soon!
Amazing tour guide in Cairo and Alexandria. Very friendly team and patient with us. I recommend it to everyone for a wonderful vacation.
Our guide was amazing! Excellent knowledge providing context about the sites, making our trip special. We really enjoyed his input on this trip.
Everything was perfect and especially our guide «HESHAM NOUR», had knowledge of his subject and was very kind. the driver was very careful. I did not like lunch but I do not know if your agency or the agency from Greece is responsible
We had an excellent time in our trip! Our guides were very kind and careful with every detail. Thank you for everything!
My wife an I had an amazing experience! This was easily the highlight of our anniversary trip. Everyone who had a hand in organizing the events did a remarkable job.
