Emad Salib was our driver and tour guide. He was good and detailed on explaining the history of Egypt and signifiance of each sites. Provided us with cold bottled water which is much appreciated. We picked the driver and guide option and pay entrance fee at each site. The guide helped us to avoid some crowds. Overall a good half day spent.

Did the private tour to Saqqara, Memphis and the Dahshur pyramids. My guide, Emad Salib, was very good at explaining the history and I could tell he's passionate about it. He was happy to answer all my questions along the way. Dahshur was a highlight, and it was much quieter than Giza.

Beautiful and deep experience. The guide, Emad Salib, went beyond the surface of just seeing touristic objectives and gave us a lot of information. This trip is different from Cairo or Giza, because the three locations are more isolated and rural, less tourists.

This was our best tour so far in Egypt and our best tour guide. Emad Salib was genuine in his desire to make sure we had the best tour possible. Less tourists at Sakkara and Dahshur, which was nice. Emad was great! He arrived at our hotel early. There were only 3 of us so he was also our driver. I preferred this over a private van which he provides for groups of 4 or more people. I prefer sitting in the front and being able to easily speak across vs from behind. Emad is a great driver with a modern car with cold AC. His knowledge of ancient Egypt and religions is top notch. Emad will gear the tour towards your interests and level of knowledge. He is great at what he does. He was also flexible with what we wanted to see and do. My only regret was not booking him for Giza and the GEM. We used a different company and guide for GIZA and were disappointed. Unfortunately we did not use a guide for the GEM.

We had a great day exploring the pyramids and Memphis. Our guide gave us a lot of information and answered all of our questions. He also picked us up and drove us back to our hotel and during the tour he took plenty of time to explain everything and also gave us time to take photos and see the monuments. Today Ehmad took us to Sakkara, Memphis and Dahshur. The highlight was the Mastaba Tomb, a prime minister’s tomb, where we saw ornate carvings and hieroglyphs. If you are a lover of nature, you will want to see the carvings of animals such as fish, birds, hippopotami, cows, crocodile and dogs, to name a few. Ehmad had to study Egyptology for more than 8 years and gain a qualification to become a guide. It feels like he is a Professor because of his knowledge. We have booked him again because he makes us feel at ease and has the right balance of attentiveness, but also gave us space and time to process what we were seeing.

We did the Sakkara and Memphis together with our trip to the Giza pyramids. It was an amazing day with beautiful sight seeing. Our private tourguide Emad Salib gave us all the details about the pyramids. We went inside the pyramids aswell, the guide gave us usefull information about what to expect inside the pyramid. This was different for every pyramid. The Dashur pyramids were the most impressive. They were more adventurous and the hike inside the pyramid was more intensive physically. The guide had prepared us for this hike very well. He gave us all the information about what to expect: like the bats and heat and smell inside the pyramid, but also about how your hike would go (can you stand? how long is de decent etc.). On our last day (visit to Dashur) our guide made us a special stop at a local souvernir shop because we told him we had nog been able to go shopping just yet and we really wanted to buy something from a local shop. He made the arrangements for us to go into a shop. This was not included in the programme of that day but our guide made sure to go out of his way to make this happen for us. We had already been with Emad for 3 days and we really enjoyed his company and very big knowledge about the pyramids. He is a skilled and knowledgable guide.

We spend half a day at Saqqara and Memphis and half a day at the Dahshur Pyramids. This was enough time to take your time around the place. I do reccomend going with a good private tourguide. This helps you save time and you can ask all sorts of questions. Our tourguide was Emad Salib. We spend the whole week with this tourguide. His english is very good and he has lots of knowledge about the Egyptian History (he tells them with a lot of enthousiasm and also knows the awnsers to a lot of our questions, even the ones who had nothing to do with history. But more important, he helps you out in every way that he can + if you tell him what you want from him he easily adjusts to your wishes (do you want lots of stories, or just some details or just go around by yourself, he will adjust to what you want). He even prepared hinself going to a place we requested on going where he did not go before so he could give us some information about this place. So he is really invested in giving you the best experience possible. That makes a trip so much more safe and fun! So get yourself a good private tourguide!!!!

The absolute highlight of our trip to Egypt was this tour. Emad Salib was an encyclopedia of Egyptian history. We learned so much from him. One of our top priorities was having a tour that was well paced and gave us plenty of time to explore on our own. Emad Salib gave us as much time as we wanted and we never once felt rushed or pressured to move to the next site. A highlight was descending into the Bent Pyramid. A must-do if you are physically able. I genuinely can't say enough good things about our experience on this day. We typically don't like using guides when we travel but can without reservation recommend Emad Salib.

Excellent tour experience visiting the main sights in Saqqara, Dahshur and Memphis + drop-off at the airport. The guide, Emad Salib, was very knowledgeable and adapted to our expectations and style of visit very quickly. The Dahshur pyramids are really cool.

I think what most travelers who book tours like this are interested in one of two things: simplicity or depth of knowledge. It’s not often you find someone who gives you both. We were lucky enough to have Emad as our guide who I recommend you ask for. He did what I hope all guides would and he engaged us from the minute we got in the car. He entertained us with history (5,000 year of it) as we drove out to Sakkara which was critical to understand what we were seeing. I’m shocked he knew every year, every dynasty, and so much more. He stayed with us the whole day and gave us space when the times were right. Lunch was as you would expect for a tour like this but it was on the higher quality side for a “tourist” lunch spot. The ATV ride was cool, a little manufactured but there are parts in the middle where you get to open up and actually enjoy the high speed ride so it was worth it + with the back drop of the pyramids it was a fun addition and will be a wonderful memory for us. We enjoyed the day so much that we’re booking another to the Citadel and Hanging Church tomorrow which we expected to do alone but the value that Emad brings is worth it. I’m glad we found him and he made the day special for me and my family.
