Very nice tour and guide provided good information on the sites. The historical significance of this place is impressive.

This was an awesome tour what an outstanding guide. The guide was very knowledgeable and accommodating.
Great private tour from Cairo taking in the many of the main sites. Start early to beat the traffic is worth it. Visited the catacombs, amphitheater, Roman pillar, library and the fort. Plenty to see and I love the fact of the Mediterranean coast. My favorite was the fort. Quite new in Egyptian terms at 800 years old but wonderful as you look out on the sea. End with lunch. Choose the Fish Market. Has a sea view of the fort while I enjoyed grouper served with rice, salads and lots of wonderful fresh made bread. And the my guide Mimo was fabulous. Used him for three different excursions and he made everything easy. He sorted all the tickets and would adjust to accommodate our requests.
My friends and I booked a day Tour ro Alexandria.. our guide was Fatma Mohammad. She was great!! Very friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating and ensured we had a great day in Alexandria.. She was great at taking creative pictures and also let us try some local foods which was lovely. We recommend her to anyone wanting to go..
Everything you need to see in Alexandria with a great guide. Nour was super nice, knowledgeable, and incredible with time management at every stop. I would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to explore the city with a private guide.
Our guide Abraham was very knowledgable about the sites, very patient with us and took us to other sites along with the ones advertised that were amazing. Definitely book a tour and ask for him specifically. I will definitely use him for all of my Egypt Tours from now on.
Islam (tour guide) & Ahmed al Tayar (driver) are both very knowledgeable and friendly to share with me interesting information of all sites I’ve visited and also show me locals places to experience Alexandria like a local. Had a very enjoyable day with them! Highly recommended tour with Islam & Ahmed al Tayar.
The day trip to Alexandria was a memorable one for me. My tour guide and the driver were amazing hosts. It was well organized and I was picked up at my hotel by the driver and met my tour guide in Alexander. She was knowledgeable and well versed in the history of the sights in Alexandria. Amazing host and a person she was and I would give a her a tip rating. The lunch by the Mediterranean sea was sumptuous . Our driver was a very nice guy and helped me in getting a gift to the hotel. Overall, I would give this trip an excellent rating. Worth the money and the time.
The tour guide was in such a hurry was more interested in making back to his home in Cairo. Not very knowledgeable. The tour guide and his driver talked in Arabic non stop both going and coming from Cairo to Alexandria Don’t recommend
Took a chance with this tour as a couple. Loved the experience and felt very safe with our tour guide Sherif and driver Mostafa. They were so polite and very accommodating with no pressure at all. Sherif was very knowledgeable and would answer questions as we had them. We had a great long day together and would recommend this tour to anyone traveling in Egypt. We stayed in Cairo and it was nice to get away from the busy city for a day during our trip.
Because of a perfect tour in Cairo with our guide Fatima, we booked the tour to Alexandria with her. The day was equally as perfect - Fatima and our driver were perfect hosts, both providing interesting information on Egypt itself and the ancient city of Alexandria. The sites we saw were very interesting, we could try the local food and were not stuck in traffic (due to the experience of our driver). We would warmly recommend Fatima as a guide for any tour! If we had more time, we would definitely book her again - she’s very professional, very welcoming and kind and highly intelligent! Her English level is close to one of a native speaker!
Mimo was a great guide. He was so knowledgeable about all of the historic sites we visited today. He was flexible and answered all of our questions about the sites, culture, and Egyptian history.
Such an amazing experience!! I can’t even pick a favorite spot. The lunch was great too all thanks to our guide, Sharif!
Taha is an amazing guide, full of knowledge and patient, as I move slowly. Great driver too. Could not have had a better day!
Wonderful, knowledgeable tour guide Fatma made the experience very authentic. Loved everything about the day!
We had a memorable day! Fatma is a very knowledgeable guide, she provided us with all the most advanced information, my family and I learned so much. She was kind and well educated and fun to be with and a great photographer. She made us feel so welcome. For lunch she took us to a very good quality restaurant where we ate great food. If you come to Egypt she must be your guide, you will love her like we do. We will he back to Cairo and make sure she is our guide. She is a star 💫. The driver was also excellent.
Mohamed picked me up right on time in the morning. He gave me options of what to see throughout the day. He was knowledgeable and friendly and willing to answer my questions about the sights and Egyptian culture. The restaurant we went to for lunch was excellent and had a great view of the harbour and the Citadel.
We really enjoyed our day trip to Alexandria. Ashraf our Egyptologist guide and Nour our driver from Tree of Life Tours were both phenomenal. They made us feel so comfortable, safe and engaged the entire day. We went to the theater complex, catacombs, had a delicious lunch at the fish market overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, then off to the modern library and the lighthouse. Ashraf also opted to take us to another site where we learned the history of papyrus paper and saw a demonstration on how it’s made. I would definitely recommend this tour with Ashraf and Nour!
This was an amazing tour of the city of Alexandria by our driver and tour guide Nefertiti. We were picked up on time. We stopped for breakfast after an hour and reached Alexandria by 10am. The tour guide let us take more time for the break since we had kids. Nefertiti knew all about the historical sites and even accommodated an extra stop to a mosque since we had decided not to spend too much time around the beach (it was a HOT day). Lunch was fantastic by the Mediterranean - fresh fish !! The drive was great. The sites were mesmerizing. A memorable trip to a historic city.
We had a great time in Alexandria! Our tour guide, Ashraf, is a great, genuine person and tour guide. We drove to Alexandria with a rest stop in the middle to pick up coffee. Once we made it in Alexandria, we visited the catacombs, monuments, and the amphitheater. My daughter had sun poisoning from a previous tour, and Ashraf was very kind to take us to a hospital and pharmacy to get her medicine. What a great person! He and the driver went out of the way to make sure my daughter was okay. We then went to lunch for some seafood, and the lunch was great! And I don’t really like fish! We then ended by visiting the library of Alexandria before heading home. We stopped at a pit stop on the way home. And Ashraf was kind enough to go to a great restaurant with Falafel that my daughter enjoyed! Thanks for a great day!!! Highly recommend! One of the best tours we have been on!
This tour is everything you want and more. There are plenty of sights wrapped up in just one day tour, which makes it even more appealing. Radwan was by far one the best guides I have ever had the pleasure to go on a tour with. A great Egyptologist, always with an answer to any question I would have and further explanations when needed, fully knowledgeable about the culture and history of Egypt. The trip itself was smooth and I had a lovely time altogether. I highly recommend this tour. Don't hesitate to ask for Radwan as your tour guide, you'll also find a friend in him in Egypt.

The trip to Alexandria was memorable. With great sights and great stories associated with them really made the place interesting

The reason I gave a two star was because our guide - Mr Khaled was not good at all. He would explain everything at the entrance of every site and would just wait for us at the entrance rather than doing a walk-through with us at the location. It was added by the fact that he was always in a hurry to head back to Cairo. He even discouraged us from visiting the Modern Library which was one of the must visit places in Alexandria. Overall our trip just ended up being not so great thanks to the guide that we had been allotted.

Alexandria is a must if you are visiting Egypt, it's a great city. My guide Michael was very good, also he can take good photos.
Had to mention this, our driver Ibrahim is also an excellent driver.

Eraky was amazing ! Explained everything and took me to all the great places.

If you have just one day to visit Alexandria, I would strongly recommend this amazing tour. We were with the tour guide Ashraf Zakhaey and driver Ahmed Maged, who were extremely helpful and friendly. Ashraf is very knowledgeable with many years of experience, so he would never let you get bored, even when you have to stand in the traffic. Ashraf told us many interesting things about the city, the historical sites, architechtual works... which we really appreciated since we didn’t expect so much learnings in a day tour! Best of all, Ashraf and Ahmed made us very comfortable during the tour. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to have an interesting and full of information visit to Alexandria.

Excellent excursion. Our guide Ahmed Eraky was brilliant and very knowledgeable and jovial. He had a lot of information to share.

Lunch was excellent, the best we had in Egypt during our stay.

Highly recommended.

Mustafa.

This trip was a great experience. Our guide Mohamed was very friendly and helpful, and our driver was very safe. They took good care of us. The sites were mainly from the Roman period, which was a nice change from Cairo. I loved seeing the new Library of Alexandria. I enjoyed seeing some desert countryside, but the drive between the cities was pretty long. Overall, a great trip!

We booked the Alexandria day trip with guide and driver. Our guides name was Khaled Mamdouh, and the vehicle was a mini van with great air conditioning and lots of room.
Overall it was a great day, full of information, sights, and experiences. The main reason for the success of the tour was Khaled. Not only was he extremely knowledgeable about all of the sights we visited and the history surrounding each, but more importantly, he was friendly, outgoing, down to earth, and engaging. This is an important element to have in your tour guide when youre spending 12 hours with him.
The Roman Catacombs are a must see, and Khaled provided the history and insight as we toured the depths of the tunnels. Pompeys Pillar, the site of the Lighthouse of Alexandria, and a delicious fresh fish lunch served at a sea front restaurant were also highlights of the day. In addition to the tourist sites we visited, we thoroughly enjoyed the experience of traveling through the busy, chaotic, narrow streets of Alexandria. Getting safely from point A to B with no apparent rules of the road was incredible, and our driver, although probably used to it on a daily basis, performed admirably.
It was a long day, approximately 11-12 hours or so, but lots of history was seen and learned, and we got a taste of the local culture. I would definitely recommend Khaled as a tour guide, and will ask for him in the future when we return to Cairo which we will, as theres just too much to see in one visit.

Maged(Migo) was a SPECTACULAR tour guide and made our day trip one of the most memorable experiences in Our Egypt vacation. He was very knowledgeable about Egyptian history, culture, just..everything! Lunch was great, the places we visited were described before visiting, and he was funny. Book it!

Tour was everything promised and tour guide Adam was fantastic. He was knowledgeable, professional and had a wonderful sense of humour coupled with an excellent driver I could not ask for anything more and would highly recommend this tour. I also received a call from the company prior to the departure date asking if I would mind adding another passenger to my private tour. He stressed it was my decision and I could definitely have a private tour if that was what I wanted. I agreed to share and what a perfect decision as the addition was Juan a young man from Colombia and we had a wonderful time with Adam the tour guide also. It was a 3 hour ride with a break at half way but time went by fast and it was well worth the ride.

We did this tour on our first full day in Egypt. As there were just the two of us on the tour we could ask Mohammed, our guide, a lot of questions about Egypt in general and how to negotiate our way through the Egyptian culture and shopping. The five sites we visited were very good, however we had to shorten the visit to Kom El-Dekka Site Roman Amphitheatre as the Alexandria Library, our next place to visit, requires you to be part of a Library organised tour of its facilities. The trip was very much appreciated and the drive showed us a lot of the countryside.

This tour was wonderful. My guide, Khaled, was very knowledgeable and speaks excellent English. Alexandria is a beautiful and historic place. It is well worth visiting!

I saw every sight mentioned in the program and also the Coptic Cathedral. Very friendly guide and driver.

As a solo female tourist, I felt very comfortable and entertained by my guide Fatma and driver, Ahmed. They offered a great balance between historical education and local culture. This tour was my last day in Egypt and I enjoyed every minute of this excursion. Alexandria is a beautiful city!

This tour was wonderful. Our guide Manar from BesTours was very knowledgeable and made the day very smooth and enjoyable.

Loved this day trip to Alexandria visiting the sites around where my grandma grew up. The driver and guide were very friendly and knowledgeable and made the day trip run to my time frame to get back in time for a tour meeting in Cairo. Great way to see the coastal city.

Very overpriced!
We paid 220 and still had to pay entrance fees, so annoying. Alexandria is a must see city but find a better tour company

It was my last day for enjoying Egypt and I chose to visit Alexandria. Very good choice. Ahmed Kamouna was my guide. He was kind and did very good explanations about the history of the places visited.
The city is very unique. Pompey's pillar and Citadel were the hotspots in my opinion.
The restaurant chosen by Ahmed for lunch was very delicious. I recommend the trip.

Zeinab was absolutely fantastic! You will not regret going to Alexandria with this tour operator. She knew the sites well and was very helpful with my young, super active nephew. I'm planning on booking this again with friends next time. Highly recommended!

A bit of a drive but worth it! Michael was our tour guide and he is our favorite!! We learned so much and saw so much!!

The tour was amazing! A great learning experience plus my Egyptologist Eraki was so helpful and nice. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

This tour was so great! Mohamed our tour guide was extremely knowledgable and accommodating, going above and beyond. One of the girls in our group lost her phone and Mohamed immediately had the car pull over and was instantly on the phone going out of his way to try and get it back. Another person in our group wanted to find some authentic Egyptian cotton sheets while in Egypt so he arranged for us to stop at a shop before the end of the tour. We were able to see so much in this day trip and felt safe and taken care of the whole time. Thanks Mohamed and our wonderful driver for a great day!

I really liked this tour. I rated 4 stars because the touristic sites are not as attractive as in other parts of Egypt. But the tours is stil worthy. The guide Zeinab was very nice.

It was a great private tour. Very well organized and highly enjoyable. Both the tour guide and driver are professional, friendly and helpful for everything. Special thanks to my tour guide Sherif who is a very talented multilingual speaker who is fluent in German, Russian, English and even Chinese. Sherif is also very passionate about his job and good at touring and explaining anything, I strongly recommend this tour.

Nice day trip to Alexandria. My guide, Moham Hassan, liked to give all the history
associated with each stop, which was fine as I enjoyed hearing the history. We had a nice
fish lunch overlooking the Med Sea. saw the Tigran Tomb, Pillar, Fort, and more. Unfortunately,
we did not get to see the library because it was Friday. That was a disappointment I had
not anticipated, but maybe should have. Friendly people, nice views, Alexandria is charming.

Excellent one day tour to Alexandria. Pick is early morning mine was 6.30am which helps avoid Cairo traffic.Travel was by Alexandria Desert road, a toll highway that lets you see the fast growing suburbs. Takes about 3 hours each way.
Alexandria is a bustling city, and the sites are very interesting about its long history. Castle on the bay and new Library were my highlights. Excellent all around and very good guide and driver.

My Alexandria trip was fantastic. The catacombs were much better than I expected. The guide was great, personable and intelligent. I would recommend this to everyone. Traffic sucked, but that is Egypt for you.

This was a great tour as well. The guide was great and took many photos of us. He was very knowledgeable and his English was great! I would highly recommend this tour. We never felt threatened in any partner this tour or any others we have taken throughout Egypt.

Tour exceeded expectations and was worth the money.

Despite the fact I had the full attention since I was the only passenger in this tour, therere moments I wished were at least a couple of people to interact with. My guide Mohamed was pretty good. The places I visited the one I was last impressed were the catacombs. Even though the Odeum Roman Theater is listed in the places to see it, we didnt stop by dont know why - maybe the tour has been changed and the this site doesnt reflect it. The fort of Qaitbay was the best!!! I was really impressed by the structure and the views from there are amazing. Visiting the Bibliotheca Alexandrina at the end was the way to end the tour!!!
