We had a trip of a lifetime! We had good guides and had a minimum of the hassle we were warned about. We also realized that the tipping culture in Egypt is very different from many places we hv been to : borne out of their economic circumstances. Moreover, our guides shielded us from a lot of the ugliness of the hustling. It made our visit a lot more pleasant. Strongly recommend Latiff and his team! Some tips: 1. Even for our family with adult children, 4 consecutive days of ancient Egypt sites in the Luxor Aswan and Abu Simbel areas is bit much. We would hv prob enjoyed a 1-2 day break to the Red Sea. We were told it’s maybe 3-4 hr drive from Luxor? Something I would hv tried to work in if I had known. 2. If you want to take a nile cruise, a good way might be to fly all the way to Abu simbel and cruise back to Aswan or even Luxor. But you need to budget enough days to do so. Work this out before booking your flights. (We didn’t and we couldn’t do the Nile cruise. )

The Great Sphinx of Giza, commonly referred to as the Sphinx of Giza or just the Sphinx, is a limestone statue of a reclining sphinx, a mythical creature with the body of a lion and the head of a human. Facing directly from West to East, it stands on the Giza Plateau on the west bank of the Nile in Giza, Egypt. The face of the Sphinx is generally believed to represent the pharaoh Khafre. Cut from the bedrock, the original shape of the Sphinx has been restored with layers of blocks. It measures 73 m (240 ft) long from paw to tail, 20 m (66 ft) high from the base to the top of the head and 19 m (62 ft) wide at its rear haunches. It is the oldest known monumental sculpture in Egypt and is commonly believed to have been designed, sculpted, and constructed by ancient Egyptians of the Old Kingdom during the reign of the pharaoh Khafre (c. 2558–2532 BC
The Museum of Egyptian Antiquities, known commonly as the Egyptian Museum or Museum of Cairo, in Cairo, Egypt, is home to an extensive collection of ancient Egyptian antiquities. It has 120,000 items, with a representative amount on display, the remainder in storerooms. Built in 1901 by the Italian construction company Garozzo-Zaffarani to a design by the French architect Marcel Dourgnon, the edifice is one of the largest museums in the region The Egyptian Museum of Antiquities contains many important pieces of ancient Egyptian history. It houses the world's largest collection of Pharaonic antiquities. The Egyptian government established the museum built in 1835 near the Ezbekeyah Garden and later moved to the Cairo Citadel. In 1855, Archduke Maximilian of Austria was given all of the artifacts by the Egyptian government; these are now in the Kunsthistorisches Museum, Vienna

You will arrive in Luxor, and be met by our representative. Immediately following by transfer to Visit the West Bank of Luxor Located beneath massive cliffs near the west bank of the Nile, the Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut, also known as Deir el Bahri, is dedicated to Amon-Ra, the sun god. Designed by an architect named Senemut, the temple is unique because it was designed like classical architecture. Note the lengthy, colonnaded terrace some of which are 97 ft high, pylons, courts, and hypostyle hall. Inside you'll see the sun court, chapel and sanctuary. Temple reliefs depict the tale of the divine birth of Hatshepsut and trade expeditions to the Land of Punt .
At first glance, the Valley of the Kings, also known as the Valley of the Gates of the Kings, seems like no more than a sun-blasted gorge of generic red rock, but underneath all of its dust lay the tombs of 63 of the most important pharaohs in the history of Ancient Egypt. Used as a burial chamber for nearly 500 years from the 16th to 11th century BC, Discovered by Howards Carter in an excavation expedition in 1922, one of the most important tombs found in the Valley of the Kings is the tomb of Pharaoh Tutankhamun and all of his treasures. The Valley of the Kings is located on the west bank of the Nile River near Luxor. It is the most famous site for having unique collections of tombs and breathtaking ancient ruins.
One of the biggest tourist attractions in Luxor, the Colossi of Memnon gained its popularity due to its majestic appearance and for the mysterious sounds emitted by the northern colossus statue at every sunrise. In the West Bank of Luxor Egypt, two magnificent twin statues image of pharaoh Amenhotep III and two smaller statues carved by his feet (one being his wife and the other his mother), stands graciously in the horizon of the magnificent Luxor horizons. The two statues, each measuring 60 feet tall, stands in the entrance of Amenhotep III’s mortuary temple. They are famously named by the name of Colossi of Memnon due to a phenomenon produced by one of the statues after an earthquake.
When visiting Karnak, you are paying a visit to the heart of Egypt during the New Kingdom. This huge temple complex was the center of the ancient faith while power was concentrated at Thebes (modern day Luxor) and its significance is reflected in its enormous size. In addition to its religious significance, it also served as a treasury, then Transfer you to your hotel for check in and Overnight in Luxor

breakfast at your hotel in Luxor , check - out then meet by your private tour guide and driver to move to Aswan , its around 4 hours driving . start your tour in Aswan by Visiting the High Dam When construction began on the High Dam in 1960, it was the most heralded part of President Gamal Abdel Nasser’s effort to develop Egypt for all Egyptians. While the dam is certainly not the largest in the world, it is an impressive engineering feat nonetheless, over 360 feet tall and 12,500 feet across. The dam was completed in
This beautiful temple complex is one of the most picturesque in all of Egypt. It sits on Aglika Island just south of the old Aswan Dam and you must ride a water taxi to the island to get to theruins. The temple was moved to its current location following the construction of the High Dam, which threatened to submerge it permanently. The careful reconstruction at the current site carefully completed, painstakingly preserving the original appearance and layout of the complex and even landscaping the island to match its former location.

Did the Cairo bit with a focus on Pyramids at Giza, including visit same day to Saqqara and New National Museum. All followed by domestic flights for a deluxe 4 night cruise from Luzor to Aswan (recommend Movenpick Royal Lily - great staff) and a day return flight visit to Abu Simbel. All with Deluxe Tours Egypt, to cover a 7 day period in December and all tours conducted on a private basis as per my request. Simply outstanding ! I needed to add in some family members at the last minute for the Cairo bit - no problem. Flights back to Cairo from Aswan amended after a short discussion - again without a problem and this made the tour much more flexible to our needs. Tour guides were by and large, very good. Standouts being the energetic but highly observant guide in Cairo for that long day trip and the slightly eccentric but very knowledgeable Dr Mohammed in Luxor. Overall very glad to have met and been led by such fine individuals. Felt safe and fed about the right level of information, without too much excessive focus. Drivers also sensible and safe. Mr Latif is the main man at Deluxe and he is brilliant. He personally did all the transfers in Cairo, was fun to talk to and receptive to ideas. Helpful and remained very contactable via WhatsApp throughout the tour. So we never felt alone or abandoned once money paid. I sought quotations from three tour companies and Deluxe was the best all around. Very glad we used them. 5*****. I would highly recommend them.
It was great week spended in Egypt with out any hassle. Cairo, Giza , Aswan , Luxor , Abu simbel all of the places were amazing and has its own significance. You guys should try this one because they provided us best possible service.
We spent six days in Egypt, and itws such an incredible experience. Every day was filled with unforgettable slights. Culture history and beauty of this country left us in awe.
It was well organized tour by "deluxe tours" from transportation to guides everything was smooth. They provided us total value we don't have any regret about this tour.
I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking to explore the rich history and culture of Egypt because it allows us to fully immerse ourselves without any worries.
Truly exceptional ! it was a perfect way to immerse yourself in egypt's rich history and culture in short amount of time. From timely pickups to knowledgeable guides everything was perfect.
I generally prefer to travel without a guide but I'd primarily traveled in places I'm culturally and linguistically more familiar with - Egypt could've been intense and confusing but Deluxe Tours planning and expertise made things smooth and stress free. We saw everything we imagined and more. Our guides were knowledgeable, friendly, and helped us navigate the complex and unfamiliar history, society, markets and traffic with ease. With this much to coordinate and so many people involved, at times plans changed as circumstance/opportunity allowed or required - everything was handled professionally with our preferences and experience in mind. I'd highly recommend this tour, particularly if it's your first time going to Egypt.
The train journey to Luxor and Aswan was a delightful way to witness the stunning landscapes along the Nile River while soaking in the local essence. Luxor's ancient temples and the mystical Valley of the Kings were awe-inspiring, painting a vivid picture of Egypt's glorious past. In Aswan, the tranquil ambiance and the exquisite Philae Temple were a serene contrast to the bustling cities, providing a serene retreat into history and spirituality. The optional visit to Abu Simbel showcased the monumental achievement of ancient Egyptian architecture and was a highlight of the trip, despite the extra travel involved. While train travel offered efficient connectivity between these captivating destinations, the longer travel durations might tire some travelers, yet the overall experience surpassed any exhaustion.
5 out 5 for us! We spent the last 4 days in Aswan and Luxor. Our tour guides (Ahmed for Aswan and Walid for Luxor) were very experienced and helpful throughout the trip. The drivers (Romani for Aswan and Mahmoud for Luxor) were always on time and was also very helpful with our luggages and ensured that we were comfortable on our roadtrips. Never really had a problem with everything. Highly recommended!
We had great time! Everything was perfect organized, kind and educated guides and the itinerary was perectly designed.
It’s my first time to deal with Deluxe Tourism… everything was literally great… All the staff are very careful for the details that make your experience flawless, and will do everything possible to make sure you are satisfied, and have many recommendations to chose from. You must contact Mr. Latif and his team (Hazem, Mohammad, Bilal) and there amazing and professional touristic guides Mr. Abdo and Mr. Mohammad, whenever you are in Cairo, Luxor, or Aswan. They will keep helping you in Egypt even after you finish your tour. DEFINITELY going back with the same team.
Deluxe Tours were excellent. From the moment I got off the plane in Cairo they were their to assist me. At first I was a little apprehensive about going to Egypt but with the guides provided I felt very safe and well taken care of. Nevin in Cairo was wonderful as well as Abd El Hamid as our guide in Luxor, Nile cruise and Aswan! I highly recommend Deluxe Tours.

Thank you Deluxe Tours for planning a great trip for our family! Everything was perfect - the guides (special thanks to Victor, our guide in Luxor and Aswan), the food, hotels, transportation, flights… all perfect! And the places we saw were simply incredible. If you ever go to Egypt, I strongly recommend you book your trip with them!
My daughter found Deluxe Tours here on Trip Advisor and booked a 6 days trip in Cairo for our family, 6 people. We had an amazing time! I am passionate about history and we had the best tour guides that had the patience to explain all in details and were able to answer any questions I had. George, the owner, planner everything really well, so all went super smooth. Thank you for this amazing holidays, I definitely recommend them to any person!
This was the best guided tour I’ve ever done! We’ve spent 6 days in Cairo, Luxor and Aswan, with my parents and siblings. The owner of the company, George, is super dedicated and is always available to help you with anything you need. Thanks to him the planning of my trip was perfect and all went really smooth, it couldn’t have been better! Also special thanks to Victor, our guide in Luxor and Aswan, who was the best guide I’ve ever had - super detailed, patient and thanks to him I’ve learned a lot about Egypt! Thank you for everything, we had an amazing time and I’ll definitely come back!
Truly an amazing experience! Every part of this tour organized by the agency went seamlessly with no worries about how to travel from one place to the next, where to leave your stuff, where to eat, etc. Everything that was the agency's responsibility was well organized and taken care which made this trip a lot less stressful that it could have been, especially the transportation part as we always had a private driver to take us where we needed to go. The tour was incredible and our guides were fantastic and taught us a lot about the history and culture of Egypt as we went along from attraction to attraction. It is an exhausting experience because there is a lot to see and you must wake up very early most days to be able to take advantage of the sunlight, but it is absolutely worth it and rewarding to experience all that this tour offers! Would definitely recommend!
Loved every second of it. Great trip, everything went smooth, got more than we asked for. The side trips were the best. There is magic in seeing the reality of the people, knowing their culture, their costumes, outside of the tourist attractions. You can count on the trip organization to advice you to take this trips. Tourist guides really nice and helpfull. Best tour trip ever ❤
Just back from Our 6 days trip around Cairo , Aswan and Luxor, we seen lots of history, all the tour guides and drivers were friendly and helpful, hotels were clean and comfortable.
We just finished our 6 days trip around Cairo , Luxor , Aswan and abu Simbel , the tour company representative Ayman picked us up form Cairo airport during our arrival and drop up at the hotel after managed to check in at the hotel . Next day was Cairo sightseeing tour visiting the Giza Pyramids, Sphinx , Egyptian museum , Bazzar and Lunch then we head to Train station for overnight train to Luxor. Second stay when the train arrived to Luxor train station our guide and driver was waiting at Luxor train station then we head directly to visit Luxor attractions we stared our tour by visiting the Valley temple , Hatshepsut temple then ended our tour visiting Karnak temple then spent our night at The hotel in Luxor. Fourth day after breakfast my private tour guide Victor and Ahmed the driver were on time waiting and we head to Aswan to visit Philae temple and Nubian village and spent overnight in Aswan , the hotel we very nice located by the river nile. Our Fifth day was visiting Abu Simbel temple then back directly to Aswan train station to take the train for overnight back to Cairo. Our final day we were transferred to Cairo airport for the final departure, great that we managed to cover all the main attractions in 6 days.
We used Deluxe Tours to organize our trip to Cairo, Luxor and Aswan via a Nile cruise. George was friendly, professional and easy to work with. He customized everything to fit our needs. Everyday was well planned and we were greeted each morning by a driver and guide. Our hotel in Cairo was superb and had amazing views of the pyramids. The cruise ship was clean, the staff was friendly and the food was great. We had our own personal guide and driver at each stop which gave us a lot of freedom and made it easier on our kids (ages 9 and 13). All of our guides were very knowledgeable. We always felt safe in each place, which had been a concern when booking a trip to Egypt. My only critique would be that the guides are freelance and their itinerary didn't always match the one we were given. The guide would tell us something cost extra, but the itinerary said it was included. It wasn't a huge deal because the guide would call George and everything was clarified. Just make sure to pay attention to what is included. Overall, I can't recommend this tour company enough. They definitely made our trip to Egypt unforgettable!
I’ve traveled to more than 48 countries and have to say this tour company was absolutely stellar and the best I’ve interacted with ever! From the booking manager George always being available to answer questions before, during and even being so nice to staying in contact after the trip, this company is highly highly recommended. We started our trip with a custom itinerary around Egypt doing Cairo, Aswan, Abu Simbel and Luxor. All of the guides were extremely knowledgeable and passionate about Egyptology and the works of art we saw in each city. Drivers were very professional and always picked us up in decent air conditioned cars. We had a couple of bumps with flight delays and accidentally leaving my watch in a hotel, and George and his team were amazing at going above and beyond by picking us up in a timely fashion and even getting my watch to the train station so I didn’t lose it at the hotel. All in all a fabulous tour company whom I will use whenever I’m back in Egypt. Don’t look anywhere else, this tour company is A+++++
I am a bit of a planner so I did my research before my trip (2 years out) George was great with communicating with me and answering every question I had before our trip. My wife and I visited Cairo and Luxor. Our tour guide Ebrahim and driver Ahmed were AWESOME! Ebrahim knows his stuff and is very funny! He gave my wife and I a history lesson and so much more perspective about the history of Egypt and the perspective of present day Egyptians. And he took EPIC pictures of us! Many of my friends and family were worried about us going to Egypt. We NEVER felt unsafe or nervous while in public or at our hotels. Don't let the "media" scare you from going to this wonderful country! It is a must! George set up great hotels in Cairo and Luxor. He actually set up everything from top to bottom very well. Our transfers were smooth and on time. (Big pet peeve of mine) Everyone associated with the company were very attentive and genuine. Great vacay! Exceed my expectations!
This travel agency is by far one of the best in Egypt. Considering that my boyfriend and I decided to travel to Egypt last minute, Latif the tour operator, was very reactive to arrange all the necessary: hotel, internal flights, Nile cruise, etc. Once in Egypt we were picked up by him and straight to our hotel. The guide tour in Cairo Amir, very nice, good knowledge and patient. To continue our trip we were not supposed to go to Abu Simbel, but upon our request Latif arranged everything so we would not miss this jewel of Egypt. Our tour guide was Victor , a walking Egyptian book, his explanations were clear and he was always able to repeat if at some point we were lost! If I have to comeback I'll do it for sure with Deluxe tours.
If you're looking for a small group tour, then Deluxe Tours Egypt is the tour company for you. I'd highly recommend this tour company. Latif, the manager, did a good job picking me up from the airport and transporting me around town. At the tail end of the trip, he even took me to the Coptic area of Cairo which wasn't on my itinerary at all. I did the Pyramids tour in Cairo and flew to Luxor to do the four night boat tour down to Aswan. Even though I had my phone turned off during the entire trip, Latif was still checking on me to make sure I was happy. Tour guide Niven did a great job taking me around the Pyramids and then to the Egyptian Museum. She even surprised us with a felucca tour around the river in Cairo! I was a little skeptical at first about the payment process for Deluxe Tours but Latif let me pay my deposit via paypal and then I brought cash for the rest of the payment. You can't wrong with Deluxe Tours Egypt. They'll take care of you.
My husband and I as well as some friends spent 13 days in Egypt with a tour booked through Deluxe Tours. Latif was masterful at creating an excellent itinerary for us. He was very responsive and helpful in the planning process. The organization and white glove treatment at the airports and hotels was amazing. Nevin was our guide around Cairo and the general vicinity and she is top notch. She is highly knowledgeable and professional and kept the historical information at the right level. Everywhere we went, people knew her. She is incredibly well connected. Latif used Victor as our guide for our Nile Cruise starting in Luxor and ending in Aswan. Victor was also terrific and very knowledgeable. He also kept the information at the right level and kept us on track to ensure that we didn't miss the boat or activities that were occurring. I would highly recommend Deluxe Tours!
I first came across this travel agency when i was doing some research for our very first trip. It had some good reviews and we decided to give it a shot and i contacted them. From the very first conversation, i had with George also known as Latif, It was a tremendous experience as he was always so helpful and answered my countless number of questions and was always responsive whenever he can. He was also very knowledgeable and helped us fit what we wanted to do and see very nicely into the itinerary and giving us suggestions on what to avoid and what is an absolute must to do as well. I really liked that personal touch to ensure that you are well aware of what you will be getting as well and he was very informative along the way with the bookings of the flights/hotels etc. With everything done and booked, we were soon on our way. From the minute we landed at the airport, the driver was already present and we headed off to the pyramids with a very wonderful guide Muhammad. Knowledgeable and very helpful in assisting to push aggressive vendors away and help in taking photos, providing information to questions we had and bringing us for an awesome lunch. We couldn't have asked for more. As our trip spanned for multiple days, we were always promptly picked up on time. (eg 5 am really means 5 am at your doorstep of the hotel) . Even in the other cities (Aswan, Luxor) they provided us with good drivers and informative guides. In Aswan and Luxor, our guide Mahmoud, was like a walking dictionary and we were overwhelmed with all the historic facts of the wonderful temples that were in this historic city. After several days, we were then introduced to Nevin, another great friend who was very caring and informative in providing suggestions on what to see in the museum, bringing us to get awesome souvenir deals for our families back home and also getting us some Egyptian desserts, local pizzas and my favourite hibiscus tea. On the very last day, George took us for a nice stroll along the New Cairo neighborhood and we even got to know the are they reside at. Thank you once again George & Nevin for your hospitality and friendship. This was beyond what we imagined when we first booked deluxe Egypt tours for our trip. Normal tours, you are treated like a customer but this company treats you very much like their family and we are forever grateful to them for providing such a great experience on our first trip. We will be sure to come back and with more noodles for your children, Nevin and George. i highly recommend Deluxe Egypt Tours if you are planning your trip to Egypt. You will definitely not regret it. Much Love from Lionel and Lay.
My wife and I booked a 10 day tour of Egypt with Deluxe Tours. George was very responsive in working with us on our itinerary before the trip. We paid for half the trip before the trip upon booking, and then the balance at the end of the trip. George was waiting for us outside at the airport and took us to our hotel. We booked most of the hotels ourselves, but George booked all of the day tours as well as our cruise on the Nile from Luxor to Aswan. We spent the first two days in and around Cairo, with the first day in Giza, Saqqara and Memphis. The second day was at the Egyptian Museum, Coptic Cairo and the Citadel. Both Cairo day tours were excellent. They were private tours and included a driver and a separate guide. The driver was always on time and right there waiting for us when we were done at a site, so there was no wasted time at all. Our tours generally began around 8 and ended around 3 or 4 with a lunch included, but they were flexible on starting times. We flew to Luxor and took the MS Esplanade boat. The boat was fine, although there were several problems, including with the room keys not working multiple days until they finally agreed to give us a new room. Most meals were buffet style except for one dinner. Drinks were extra, however, and quite expensive, and there were incorrect extra charges that we had to get taken off. Of course, the problems on the boat are not the fault of the tour company. The Egyptologist guide that was provided for the time on the boat was excellent, and in addition to explaining everything well, helped us with sorting through the issues we had on the boat. We had tours in Karnak and Luxor Temple on the first day. In Luxor, there was enough time on the first night to go to the Luxor Museum if you wish as the boat was docked overnight and the museum is within walking distance from the dock. We had planned to, but I ended up getting sick so we didn't. We also had tours at Valley of the Kings and Queens, Kom Obmo, Edfu, and Aswan. In Valley of the Queens, we added an optional tour for Nefertari's tomb, which is amazing and worth the extra cost in my opinion. After the cruise was over, we had a day tour to Abu Simbel, then spent the night in Aswan before going back to Cairo the next morning. We had a free afternoon in Cairo which we spent going through the Egyptian museum a second time on our own. Then our last full day was at Alexandria. Alexandria is about a 2.5-3 hour drive from Cairo, so it ends up being a very long day. If you don't have time, I would skip it, or consider doing it earlier in your itinerary if you want to have more rest before going home. I'm glad I went, but I don't think it was that great and the local guide for there was just ok. We were dropped off at the airport hotel (the Meridien, which is a great hotel and very convenient as it is connected to the international terminal) and spent a few hours sleeping before catching our flight home early in the morning. All in all, it was a good tour. I generally prefer to explore by myself, but was glad I joined a tour for Egypt as I quickly realized it was not the easiest place to get around by yourself and having a guide not only helps explain things, but also shields you uncomfortable situations.
Just returned from 6 day tour organized by Deluxetours. We had magnificent stressles holiday thanks to flawless organization done by Latif. We actually feel like we spent much more time in Egypt cause we saw so many sights in such short time with skilful guides. Thank you Latif for picking/dropping us at the airport at some crazy hours :) and for organizing such memorable trip for me and my daughter. We will for sure remember this trip forever Looking forward to return to Egypt organized by you some day. Neda&Ana
We read about Deluxe Tours on Trip Advisor and got in touch with George aka Latif. He was very prompt in his communication and was very patient with our questions and requests. In the end he created a completely customised itinerary for us with hotels and rooms of our choice, private tours with egyptologists. Once we landed in Cairo he came to pick us up at the airport and it felt like we knew each other for ages. His wife, Nevine, took us to visit the Pyramids at Giza as well as a tour of Memphis and Sakara. Not only is she knowledgeable about the history, she is also a great photographer! We’re glad we went with her. (We are suckers for local food wherever we travel and she got us one of the best falafel sandwiches we’ve ever had.) Throughout our trip, we had great drivers and guides, and George ensured we were well taken care of. On the last night he took us on a feluka ride on the Nile followed by a meeting with “the prince” over a crazy dinner! If you are planning a trip to Egypt, forget the big tour operators and get in touch with George/Latif for an unforgettable, private and customised experience.
Contacted a few companies to tailor-made our 8 day tour to Egypt for the first time. George’s responded our emails the fastest with the greatest price and created the original 6 day tour to cater a 8 day tour for us: Cairo-domestic flight to Aswan-drive to Abu Simbel-Nile cruise from Aswan to Edfu, Kom Ombo and Luxor-domestic flight to Cairo. George was responded quickly in iMessage to make sure our itinerary was organized. We also met up with him on our first and last day in Cairo for nice chats. There were some hiccups along the way, but he made sure our itinerary, hotels and flights were in order. Kudos to him! On the days in Cairo, we had Marco as our tour guide. He’s a humble, funny, nice and very knowledgeable Egyptologist. He also tells us the price on things of what’s it suppose to cost so we know how to haggle when we wanted to buy souvenirs. He also took great pictures of me and my bf, and was great fun to be with. I highly recommend him to be your guide around Cairo, as he also knows many people around Cairo and makes sure you have a great time. Marco further gave us recommendations on what to do on our last day in Cairo to make sure we were making the most out of our day <3 Egyptian museum is his second home, while he pointed to us which attractions were the main point, instead of wandering around aimlessly to look at by ourselves. For the guide in Aswan-Luxor, he seems to be not an Egyptologist. After the first few temples Ahmed brought us, me and my bf started reading up Wikipedia first before the he brought us around the temples, cuz he couldn’t describe and tell us much. Our tours finished very fast by just walking through the temple one round, while me and my bf try to eavesdrop on other tour guides nearby. This was the only upsetting part for us. I do recommended to make sure the guides that follow you are Egyptologists, makes the experience a lot better. I would find George again the next time i visit Egypt, maybe when the new Egyptian museum is built!
This was a bucket list trip for me and it lived up to its expectations. George and Nevin were so amazing to work with. George setup every detail of our visit including transportation and excursions from Cairo to Luxor to Aswan and back. Navin is an Egyptologist that is full of knowledge and so much fun to be around. They both made us smile the entire time we were there. When I go back to Egypt I will be sure to look them up again. I truly recommend using Deluxetours for your travel plans to Egypt.
My wife and I normally don't travel with tour companies and travel on our own. But for Egypt, based on many blogs we read, we decided to go with a private tour (just us) instead. While searching for a tour company online, came across Deluxe tours. They had great reviews so we contacted them, and shared our requirements. We had 11 days and wanted to cover Cairo, Luxor , Aswan and Abu Simbel. We were also on a tight budget, but still wanted to stay only in 5 star hotels for hygiene reasons and do the Nile Cruise. Mr Latif, the proprietor, shared a detailed itinerary based on our requirements shortly, and offered a very reasonable price, as compared to other companies we reached out to. It included everything - (a) hotel bookings (b) airport to hotel & back transfers (c) transport to all sightseeing (d) English speaking guide for entire trip. (e) All entry tickets to all sightseeing. None the less we were a bit sceptical as we had never been on an organized private tour before. We had many doubts like - will the guides would be good, will pickups and drops happen on time, will the cars used be good, etc etc. Finally we reached Egypt on 10 Oct and returned back to India on 21 October. Must say it was an incredible trip, one of the best trips of our lives ! We spent 3 days in Cairo, 3 days in Aswan , 3 in Luxor and 1 day in White desert near Bahariya Oasis , about 500 km from Cairo. The 6 days between Aswan and Luxor also included a 3 day Nile Cruise from Aswan to Luxor. Let me iterate the positives and the negatives clearly - Positives 1. All pickups from airports to hotels & vice versa were always on time. There was always someone waiting with our nameplates. 2. All the sight seeing tours began at the right time always, and we were given clear feedback as to when we would start touring the next day. And always, in morning, the car would be waiting in our hotel with the Guide and driver. So there was no uncertainty around "is the car coming, should I call and check up, when do we leave.. Etc ". 3. The hotels booked were awesome, the Mr Latif always got us upgraded to the best rooms facing the Nile River, even though our tour included the basic rooms. The Hilton Luxor in particular was incredible! 4. The cars which picked us up always were in great condition. 5. Our guide , Mr. Victor, was truly amazing. We spent 6 days together, and became friends with him very soon. He is extremely passionate about explaining the history of his country to travellers. Every time he spoke to describe any sight, there was a twinkle in his eye and the passion was very evident. 6. We also had a chance to interact with Mr Latif, the proprietor, during the white desert trip, on which he came with us. Super funny guy, and by the end of the white desert trip, felt like we have been friends for a long time. Negatives None !! It was truly an amazing trip. Thank you Mr. Latif and Mr. Victor for making this an amazing trip. We will come back again , and would love to travel with your company again. We will also heartily recommend you to all our friends and family.
i have always wanted to travel to Egypt but was always told it was not safe, well my father and i booked our tickets anyway all the way from Australia and We felt 100% safe in all our travels so if you've been holding back don't! we landed in Cario and was recommended deluxe Egypt tours (DET) from word of mouth and from a instragam message sent that night we where in full swing minutes later. i knew after the speedy response and reply we where dealing with the right company. Deluxe Egypt Tours helped put together a life time trip through Egypt from Cairo, Luxor, aswan and Hurghada (Red Sea) and helping with amazing activities such as hot air ballon rides, scuba diving, camel rides, Markets, to eating traditional food and eating at the best restaurants with the most spectacular view and Nevin our tour guide always made sure it was a perfect table. Naive and George our guides were very accommodating to our request and at all times made sure we felt comfortable, naiven is an egyptologist and we we’re un able to stump her with questions she had a wealth of knowledge. and contacts as we travelled to new destinations such as in Aswan/luxor where we got connected with Mohamed who had some of the most interesting view and knowledge about the tombs and had great recommendations example seeing temples at night to avoid heat and able to see a light show!! after traveling and being jet lagged they organise all our paper work for flights drivers and immigration papers which made our holiday even more smoother than i could ask and could really enjoy every minute with out any stress We've traveled to many countries around the world over the past years and dealt with numerous of tour agencies but by far Egypt deluxe tours to the cake. George our go to guy for transport new every street like the back of his hand making Cario traffic less stressful and site seeing more enjoyable i can’t not thank George and Nevin for opening our eyes to a new beautiful culture i hope to be back soon and enjoying Egypt and you’re company again I can't express enough how grateful we are to have meet you two.
During our trips we always use local agencies; for Egypt we chose to take Deluxe Tour. They met our requirements, we spent 10 days to do all the sites, from Cairo to Aswan, Abu Simbel... everything was perfect, they are very responsive, and made modifications at my request during the trip. You feel safe and listened to. thank you
We entrusted the organization of our holidays to Latif and Nevin. Nothing is to blame and everything was delivered with professionalism, respect for the rhythm of children aged 2 to 15 and constant availability. Every Transfer, Welcoming, Flight and Program was respected and our two Francophone guides were perfect for children. If we return to Egypt, it will necessarily be with Deluxe Tours.
We enjoyed a week in Egypt organized by George, from Cairo to Abu Simbel, from Aswan to Luxor. It is a human-sized agency with a personalized approach from George aka Latif its manager. We even had the chance to dine with him in one of the most wonderful places in Cairo for meat and Street Food lovers, and as if that wasn’t enough, we even left with a wonderful gift box of sweet treasures that only the Oriental and Egyptians have the secret. Among the highlights of our Egyptian journey, the "cruise" in Dahabyia from Aswan to Luxor with a boat just for us and a lovably fantastic team!!!! Another highlight was the meeting with villagers living on one of the Nile islands, magical! Of course, the visit of Abu Simbel, Luxor, the Sphinx, the Pyramids are worth a visit but more than the stones, the Egyptians also deserve all our attention. So certainly everything was not perfect during the stay, guides sometimes a little inexperienced, airplane schedules too late or too early but, again, it is an agency on a human scale so just communicate to find solutions. George loves his country, his agency and his work and above all he'll treat you like a true friend and that... that's priceless. This is probably the real luxury! the real Deluxe tour. Chokrane, George!
We spent 10 days in Egypt in total... we divided our trip so that we could get the juice out of everything... We made visits in Cairo to the Pyramids Sphinx, Coptic Cairo, perfume factory, Egyptian museum, Saqqara, Memphis, Egyptian market... Nevin our Cairo guide was wonderful she and her husband Latif make an excellent team... We were lucky enough to do a spectacular cruise on the River Nile in which we visited Luxor, Aswan, Edfu we were in the most emblematic temples of Egypt, we enjoyed and learned a lot with our guide Victor who had a lot of patience and was at all times aware of our needs.... we told him that we needed toothpaste in the morning and in the afternoon he appeared with a toothpaste that he bought and gave it to us! These are details that make a difference and are unforgettable... besides that I knew a lot about Egyptian culture we never left doubts about any subject. THANK YOU THANK YOU for making our trip an unforgettable and unique experience... I'll always recommend them... they took care of everything like the professionals they are... 10/10 =)
