I did the all-inclusive tour option with the inside of the Great Pyramid (Khufu/Cheops), lunch, guide and driver. I did not do the camel ride (personal choice) but got to get up close and take pictures. I had the two Ahmeds for my tour. Ahmed the driver picked me up from the airport and gave me a warm welcome. Ahmed the guide was very knowledgeable, funny, and friendly. He explained the history of prehistoric and ancient Egypt thoroughly and told me many stories about the pyramids. We even took a deep dive into fringe archeology and the different theories people have. Both Ahmeds were great! A pointer: For the all-inclusive option, there are two tickets: one to enter the site and another to enter Khufu/Cheops pyramid. Khafre pyramid was closed for regular visits during the time of my tour. Menkaure pyramid is a separate ticket, but it's easy to purchase at the automated kiosk. Be mindful that both pyramids are very cramped, narrow, hot, and urinous inside and they have very low ceilings and steep steps, so be careful if you have difficulty climbing. Overall this tour was a great start to my trip. Both Ahmeds were very inviting and I got to see and learn a lot!

Our guide will pick you up at your requested location or hotel to start your Journey across Cairo. The tour will start by visiting the Great Pyramids of Giza and visit the panoramic area where you can enjoy amazing short camel ride then you will visit the Sphinx and Valley Temple of Khafre, where is the reception of the royal body of Khafre. The Valley Temple was built for the process of mummification of King Khafre. Finally, you will have a close-up look of the Great Sphinx, the guardian of the Pyramids with a body of a lion and a head of King Khafre. Time spent in each place is flexible according to the customers.
Khufu's pyramid is the only wonder of the ancient seven wonders still remains and standing today!! the highest building on earth for more than 3800 Years, the complex consists of a valley temple, now buried beneath the village of Nazlet el-Samman; diabase paving and nummulitic limestone walls have been found but the site has not been excavated yet, with your advanced Egyptologist you will be able to explore the entire area.(Please note that entering the pyramid from inside require special ticket, your will be happy to assist).
The Second highest pyramid in the complex is dedicated to king Chefren or Khafre, the entire complex is still in good condition so with your Egyptologist you will explore the valley temple and the causeway of king Khafre. The Smallest pyramid in Giza plateau, now it is about 61m high, Menkaure pyramid is very special because of the granite outer layer still remains on the lower part of the pyramid, the granite was quarried from Aswan over 9000 kilometers away from Giza
Next, a visit to a panoramic view of the 6 pyramids, and the city of Giza, were you will stay there for 10 minutes to take photos and enjoy the view
With the same Entry Ticket to the pyramids area you will have a close-up look of the Great Sphinx, the guardian of the Pyramids with a body of a lion and a head of King Khafre. You will have all the time to take the pictures you want with an assistance from our guide

I can only have good memories and reccomendation for this thrilling dicovery trip of pyramids and sphinx by Travel Door Tours. Mostafa , my travel guide for the day, was an excellent representative and spokesman. His command of english was perfect and knowledge of the place too. I got picked up ontime and delivered back to hotel on time too. We travel by car to the site and walked around in the area. The trip also included a camel ride and lunch. Under no circumstances, I felt unsafe or hurried to complete the trip. Mostafa gave me all the time I needed, he actually encoraged me to take my time in order to experiece the place. Mostafa gave me also lots of reccomendation on sellers and people approching you onsite. He was always in my proximity and alwasy helpfull with any equiries I might have had. Mostafa is also a lovely person to communicate with, so I really felt at easy with him. I will definetly book him again for my next trip to egypt. Absolutely fantastic experience with our tour guide Mariam at the Pyramids! From start to finish, our visit was unforgettable. We ended our trip with a delicious lunch of Koshary. While it might not be everyone’s favorite, I enjoyed it, especially as a vegan. Momo is a very knowledgeable and friendly guide. He brought us with a good driver to the Pyramids of Giza and to the Sphinx, to see how papyrus is made and to some bazaars that we asked for. My 14 year old son and I had a great experience on our tour yesterday. Both our guide and driver were courteous and professional. Our guide was knowledgeable and very flexible to allow us create our own experience. The lunch was delicious and our guide and driver went above and beyond when my son broke his glasses and they took us to an optical store and helped us replace the frames so he could have something to wear for the rest of our trip. I have booked this tour literally last minute once we arrived in Cairo from Alexandria! 24 hours before via Booking.com Mohamed Reza met us at the hotel before the departure time and straight after the driver arrived. He explained how the days was looking like and what we were going to see and do in terms of activities. Mohamed Reza knowledge is amazing, he speaks so many languages and the passion for his jobs is second to none. He answered any questions we had and he also shared some good tips for our following trips in Cairo during our stays. He provided water, lunch and some nice juices during our stay and took amazing picture of us. It never did we feel rushed, all aspects of the tour was simply great. Haitham was amazing tour guide. He met us at our hotel right on time and provided us alot of useful information as we made our way to Giza. He answered all our questions and was friendly to coversate with. Our driver was also great. He stayed with us the whole time and was master of weaving in and out of traffic without giving us anxiety. They did take us to authentic Egyptian papyrus shop and oil shop after the tour. They were extremely expensive shops. I would either try to negotiate the price or go to some local markets for oils. Over all great experience I would highly recommend.

Fantastic tour with Gamil! We spent about 4 hours on our tour of the Giza Pyramids. Gamil was very knowledgeable of all of the history and able to answer our many questions. My mother and I were on the private tour and he was kind enough to accommodate her needs, driving when necessary and walking the rest. He also helped us take some fun and iconic photos that we'll keep forever. After the tour we visited an oil shop where we learned about the process, as well as one of the certified papyrus shops. Both were very interesting and we did buy some things to bring home. I would highly recommend this tour and Gamil as your guide. Thank you Gamil for a great tour and so much ruch information.

Ibrahim provided an amazing full day tour of Giza. We visited the pyramids, the great sphinx, rode camels and ATV’s. He also took us to several shops for a little retail therapy. He is very knowledgeable on Egyptian history and answered questions on modern day Egypt. We had such a great day that we booked an additional tour and requested him as our guide. Definitely book Ibrahim when Cairo. Btw, he’s also a great photographer.
Mohammed Salah was by far the best guide we've had traveling Egypt alone for our frist time. He was friendly and had really good advice and knowledge of the locals and history. He is funny and cheerful always making us feel comfortable and safe. Willing to help negotiate with locals to get us the best deals. We laughed the whole ride and every moment was memorable with lots of jokes and knowledge. Driver was also really friendly and ride was also comfortable shielding us from the hot Egyptian weather with AC. Would recommend to anyone and would 100% book again.

The tour was excellent, we entered the Pyramids complex to see them up close and I had a great explanation and story about them, and finishing a traditional Egyptian meal plus the karim guide was very attentive and took spectacular photos.
I play Karim as a guide. Very good people and very good energy. He gave me a lot of information about the place and took a lot of chest to take pictures as he was going alone. He also gave me many tips on what to see and do in Cairo.
