Our tour of Siwa with Luxury Tours Egypt was fantastic. Mohammed (guide) and Khaled (driver) were personable, professional, and most of all flexible. Siwa was both interesting and beautiful. We enjoyed the monuments, floating in the salt lakes, our desert safari, and our horseback ride in the desert. We didn’t really know what to expect going in but, nonetheless, our expectations were exceeded. Highly recommend!

We had a once in a lifetime adventure to Siwa Oasis with Luxury tours! We were were well looked after at every turn by our guide Mohammed and our driver Khaled. We had a truly remarkable dessert safari and tea on the dunes at sunset. We floated in the salt pools, went horseback riding in the dunes and visited the temple where Alexander the Great was declared a pharoh. Truly the adventure of a lifetime!
Great experience visiting Oadis Siwwaa
Our trip to Siwa was beyond my expectations. My friend group of five were in our private mini van. Our guide Mohamed and driver Jamal were amazing and I really enjoyed our trip with them. They were very helpful, kind and easygoing which made our trip even better. The tour includes all memorable sights but still we did extra things since we had extra time.
It was really great to go there. Hany from Luxury Egypt was an excellent guide. The organisation was perfect, especially taking into account Ramadan limitations. Siwa is a quiet village but has a few interesting things to visit, amazing desert, salted pools, hot springs... Perhaps it could be nice to add a day more in the way back in Alexandria or Marsa Matruh, since it is almost in the way and the way back from Siwa to Cairo it is more than 7 hours drive.. But I really enjoyed it!! Thank you very much!!
I went on the 4 day Siwa tour with Luxury Tours Egypt and I had the best time! Luxury Tours were one of the only tour agencies I could find who offered a 4 day trip, most other agencies offered 3 days, which I thought was too rushed. I would definitely recommend seeing Siwa over 4 days, it’s a long drive from Cairo and this way you get a much more relaxed time, rather than trying to fit everything into one day sightseeing. Siwa is a wonderful place, more relaxed, rural and charming than Cairo or other big cities. There’s some interesting sights to see (Shali fortress, mountain of the dead) plus lots of opportunities to swim, in the salt lakes and in the hot springs. Luxury Tours covered all of this, with plenty of time at each sight and time to feel relaxed and not rushed. The desert safari was loads of fun, watching the sunset over the dunes and trying out sandboarding is not to be missed. What made the trip even better was my amazing guide Ahmed. Right from the moment he picked me up from my hotel in Cairo, to dropping me back there, I felt so well looked after. He was polite, thoughtful, attentive and offered lots of interesting insights into Siwa life. As a solo female traveller, I felt completely at ease and very safe, I knew I was in good hands. Because I did a private tour, he adjusted the itinerary to suit me, and always made sure I was happy, comfortable and enjoying myself. I enjoyed Ahmed’s guidance very much, if you get him as your guide you should count yourself lucky! Luxury Tours did live up to its name - the car I travelled in was new, clean and comfortable, also the lodge I stayed in at Siwa was a real gem - a good balance of rustic style and comfort. I would definitely recommend them for any trip you choose to do in Egypt!
I had such a wonderful experience in Siwa Oasis. The trip was awesome! My guide Mohammad Yasser and driver Mohammad were marvellous. Yasser brought us to the places of interest and gave us ample time to immerse and enjoy the excursion. The excursion to the salt lake and the desert safari met beyond my expectation. Even though I just went in January, I jumped and floated in the icy cold salt lake. Truly enjoyed myself.

My husband and I had a great experience with our Egypt Luxury Tours agent Mariem, guide Ahmed, and driver Mustafa. Mariem was kind to answer my many questions prior to our arrival in Egypt, and was consistently asking how we were doing during our Siwa Oasis Tour. The journey to and from the Siwa Oasis is a long way (8-9 hours). It was helpful that Mustafa and Ahmed planned many stops along the way at the gas stations, so that we could stretch, use the toilets (bring your own toilet paper!), and get refreshments. Mustafa was very reliable and safe in driving us around throughout the tour, and so good-natured toward us the whole time. We also really enjoyed the playlists they picked for our rides around in the car. Just be prepared for the long drive – the four-day tour gives more time to enjoy the oasis between full days of travel. Ahmed also took great care of us, and was knowledgeable about the places we visited. We enjoyed hearing about Siwa culture as we visited different historical sites. The sand dune safari was one of our favorite parts of the tour -- driving full-throttle over huge dunes, and sipping tea while enjoying the sunset. This was followed by a relaxing stop at the natural hot spring under the stars, and a delicious dinner shared with our guides. We also had a fun time floating in the clear blue water of the salt lakes on our last day before departure. Our accommodation was comfortable room at a beautiful lakeside hotel. The breakfasts prepared for us were artfully made, filling, and tasty. The hotel is newly developed and was still under some construction, so it seemed as though parts of the property and room services were still getting organized there. So we can only imagine how once it is completed, it will be an even more amazing place to relax and to enjoy the Siwa Oasis. We really appreciated the relaxed nature of both Ahmed and Mustafa – they were so kind and accommodating. They matched our energy and adjusted schedules as we were desiring to move through the tour in a more relaxed way. Both of them also captured many moments of our tour and shared the photos with us. We are so grateful for their care – from the beginning of our tour in Cairo to the Siwa Oasis and back again. Many blessings to you both!
explored Siwa with Luxury Tours Egypt, and our guide Mo was absolutely incredible. He welcomes you like family and truly makes the experience unforgettable — the perfect guide for discovering Siwa.
We had an unforgettable trip to Siwa that exceeded all expectations. From floating in the salt lakes to watching the most beautiful sunsets, exploring the Sahara desert by 4WD, sandboarding, and visiting historic sites such as the Citadel and the Mountain of the Dead – every moment was incredible. A special mention goes to our guide, Mohamad (aka Mojito), and our driver, Mostafa (aka Australian Calais). Their knowledge, humour, and care made the experience truly memorable and so much fun. We highly recommend this trip to anyone visiting Siwa – it’s an adventure not to be missed!
Dive into the real thing, meet the people and see the uncorrupted scenes. Great guides and seamless execution.
I had the most unforgettable experience with Luxury Egypt Tours, who truly live up to their name in providing bespoke, high-end travel experiences. I spent 3 incredible days with them exploring Siwa, and everything was seamless from start to finish. Communication with Mariam was flawless – she was attentive, responsive, and made sure every detail was clear and arranged perfectly. Mustafa, our driver, was exceptional – patient, kind, and always making sure I was comfortable. His professionalism behind the wheel gave me complete peace of mind, even on the long desert drives. Mustafa, the Egyptologist, was equally outstanding. His deep knowledge of history, culture, and local traditions brought every site to life. He had a unique talent for explaining complex stories in an engaging and approachable way, which made the journey not only informative but also inspiring. I was also very lucky to spend time with Mr. Tolba, the owner, whose passion and hospitality are unmatched. He personally joined me for the trip, showing me around with great care, taking stunning photos, and ensuring that every moment was arranged to perfection. His eye for detail and dedication to his guests made the entire experience truly special. He even introduced me to his beautiful family as well as treated me to a Siwan dinner with such special family, unforgettable! The whole Luxury Egypt Tours team is exceptional – professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely committed to creating a memorable and authentic experience. Thanks to them, my days in Siwa were not just a trip, but a journey I will cherish forever. I wholeheartedly recommend Luxury Egypt Tours to anyone looking to explore Egypt in absolute comfort, style, and with the warmth of true hospitality.
Visiting Siwa was by far one of the best decisions we made during our trip to Egypt. Although the journey from Cairo takes around 9 hours, it is absolutely worth it and I strongly recommend making the effort! What made the trip truly special was our amazing guide, Eslam. He took care of us for all four days – organizing everything perfectly so we didn’t have to worry about a single thing. His knowledge, kindness, and attention to detail made the whole experience smooth, relaxing, and unforgettable. A special shoutout also goes to Mahmoud, who gave us an absolutely thrilling desert safari experience! Driving over the dunes, sandboarding — it was truly insane in the best way possible. Siwa is a magical place, and with people like Eslam and Mahmoud, it becomes even more incredible. Don’t miss it!
Review: A Journey of a Lifetime with Egypt Luxury Tours and Our Guide, Mo If you’re considering a trip to Egypt and want an unforgettable, top-tier experience that blends luxury, culture, adventure, and local hospitality—look no further than Egypt Luxury Tours. My recent journey with them to the remote and magical Siwa Oasis was hands-down one of the most memorable travel experiences of my life. From the moment we were picked up, everything felt seamlessly organized and tailored to us. The true standout, however, was our guide, Mo. Words can’t fully capture how phenomenal he was. Not only was he knowledgeable and professional, but he also had a warmth and charisma that instantly made us feel like we were traveling with a lifelong friend. Mo wasn’t just a guide—he was a storyteller, a cultural translator, and at times even a personal photographer! His passion for Egypt and its hidden gems was infectious, and his insights into Siwan traditions and history elevated every stop along the way. Our adventure began with a drive into the Siwa desert, and it quickly became clear that this was not going to be an average tour. The vehicle was spacious and comfortable, and Mo made sure we were well-prepared and hydrated for the desert terrain. The desert safari was an absolute thrill. We soared over golden dunes, our driver expertly navigating the shifting sands, all while the sun began to dip toward the horizon. We paused for photos and panoramic views that looked like something out of a dream—rolling dunes in every direction and complete silence, except for the wind. Mo made sure we hit every perfect photo op and somehow always knew exactly when and where to stop for the best light. After the adrenaline rush of the safari, we took a more peaceful route to the Siwa Salt Lakes—a place that felt almost otherworldly. The water was so clear and rich in minerals that you could float effortlessly. Swimming there, surrounded by the vast stillness of the desert and the natural beauty of Siwa, was one of the most peaceful and unique experiences I’ve ever had. Mo explained the geological and cultural significance of the lakes, and even gave us tips on how to soak without irritating our skin. And let’s talk about the food—Egyptian meals like we’ve never had before. From aromatic chicken cooked in traditional Siwan ovens to stuffed vine leaves and fresh dates straight from the oasis, every meal was a celebration of local flavors. Mo knew the best spots and made sure we tried it all, including sipping on herbal teas under a sky full of stars. The hospitality was impeccable. Egypt Luxury Tours exceeded every expectation, blending luxury with raw, authentic adventure. It felt curated, but never touristy. Mo was the heart of the trip, and his energy and expertise made the experience truly special. If you want to see Egypt beyond the typical pyramids and cruise ships, and really dive into the soul of the country, book with Egypt Luxury Tours—and request Mo. You’ll leave with memories (and photos) that last a lifetime.
My friends and I used Luxury Tours Egypt’s services for a 4 day trip to Siwa. Our guide (the owner), Mo, was extremely hospitable and knowledgeable. Provided smooth comfortable pick up/transportation from Giza. He was patient with our group - we made several stops along the way. The itinerary was really great and spread out. Gave us enough time to see everything, while also giving us time to rest as well and enjoy the moment. Everyone knew Mo everywhere we went! We had a great time in Siwa - thank you Mo for the 5 star hospitality! ⭐️
Brilliant organization and pleasant experience. We visited so many spots and tried many activities in Siwa. Thanks Mo Tolba for perfect trip,
Eslam was a wonderful tour guide and I thoroughly enjoyed the many experiences on the trip to Siwa. Eslam had a great sense of humour, thoughtful and attentive in a genuine and respectful manner. I had mobility issues , which he assisted with easily. This made the activities possible and more enjoyable ...
We had a magical tour of Siwa thanks to our guide Aimen! Aimen made us feel safe during the long drive from Cairo and showed us the incredible beauty of the oasis- salt lakes, fresh water pools, desert sunsets, wonderful history and beautiful Siwan culture. This tour is not to be missed and Aimen made it all the more special!
what a marvelous adventure- and the best surprise was our guide/host Aya Muhammad and superb driver/navigator Islan, my two New Best Friends. Drive time was never boring with our sound track featuring Maria Muldaur's Midnight at the Oasis and other tunes selected by Aya.
Siwa is a wonderful place, truly beautiful. The sunsets in the desert and Fatnas Island were gorgeous. The salt lakes swimming (floating) was in par with the sunset in the desert. You’ll also get the chance to swim in Cleopatra’s pool, and the hot spring at base camp. The mountain of death was very interesting, especially because you get to see the original Egyptian hieroglyphs. Aimn drove tirelessly from Cairo and to all the places. He knows Siwa like the back of his hand. He also went out of his way to get me my favourite breakfast, falafel, every morning. Yusef drove the 4x4 in the desert and he was an amazing driver and kind person. A great must have experience when in Egypt
Our experience in Siwa was nothing short of extraordinary, all thanks to Eslam Ali and Aya Muhammad. Undoubtedly, this was one of the most memorable trips we’ve had. Eslam and Aya went above and beyond, meticulously ensuring that every detail was taken care of, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the beauty and uniqueness of Siwa. Their dedication made the journey seamless and unforgettable, showcasing the very best the region has to offer. Thank you both for this memorable trip
Luxury Tours Egypt it's a great experience in Siwa oasis; taking was amazing, rejuvenating and had a great deal of body detox needed so badly. Food was great, picnic at the dessert watching the sunset an unforgettable experience. Eslam he's a good Guide, excellent hostess, kind and, so accommodating to our needs when we wanted to go around the Siwa city and the driver in The Safari Tour he's so funny are realizable And kind people to travel with this company 100% recommended tour
Mostafa and Eslam were the best guides, we had a great time and we felt very safe with them since we were only women, I highly recommend them if you want to have a good time and to explore Siwa the best way.
For four days, Mo Tolba, my guide and driver, assembled and provided the perfect cultural and natural world introduction to the Siwa People and their Oasis. From historical (Forts, Temples, Siwa House), and environmental (Sand Sea, Mountains, Islands, Salt Ponds and Desert Dunes and Animals) features, to social/anthropological (Market, Music, Religious practices, Dune Bashing and Boarding) aspects, and to gastronomic delights (Siwa juice, Lemon lime juice, Wild Berries, Breakfast Bean Salad), I now have a more complete understanding of this isolated community's origin, character and lifestyle.
The best experience! I booked a private tour to be able to customize the hotels and the places I wanted to visit and it was absolutely incredible. Mohamed was the best driver / tour guide / arabic instructor and photographer! 😀 I cannot say enough good things about this trip! I will definitely come back and use Luxury Tours Egypt again for a different tour.
"Traveling to Siwa with Luxury Tours Egypt was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff ensured every aspect of our journey was seamless and enjoyable. The tour guides were knowledgeable about the history and culture of the city, providing fascinating insights at every stop. The accommodations were comfortable, and the itinerary was well-planned, allowing us to explore the breathtaking landscapes and historical sites of Siwa. I highly recommend both the destination and the touring company for anyone seeking an enriching and hassle-free travel experience."
Siwa Oasis is a special place to visit and the highlights of the trip included the temple of Amun where Alexander the Great consulted the oracle plus the salt pools. Afterwards we dived into Cleopatra’s pool to cleanse. Our tour guide pulled out the stops to attend to our needs and requests, each day on the 4 day trip had an element of surprise. The lodge was clean and breakfast plentiful. For myself Siwa put me back in touch with nature, the ride out into the Sahara to watch the sunrise was beautiful.
Before travelling I injured my foot and thought I would have to cancel but our guide Tolba kindly let us delay a day (even though it was at the last minute) and he adapted the trip so I could access each experience (except sand boarding obviously). We had a lovely time... salt lakes were my favourite but I loved our camp with a fire every night and pool.. and delicious breakfast.
Mohamed was awesome from start to finish! Made my mum and I feel very comfortable throughout the trip, going above and beyond to help us and support us on the journey. The transport was comfortable and the safari tour was amazing! Sand boarding and roaring over sand dunes in a 4x4 - epic trip! Thanks for your hard work!
Siwa Oasis was simply incredible. The drive is a bit long but definitely worth it. Islam is a very good guide with whom we never had time to get bored! He did everything to make our stay perfect. We were there in low season (June ) and were therefore able to enjoy each place as if we were alone in the world (sunset in front of fatnas lake, mountain of the dead, salt lake, desert tour with sand board, stop in a magnificent oasis in the middle of the desert and sunset). We stayed in a very pretty and relaxing eco lodge. I recommend this experience with your eyes closed.
the world. all delicious meals to several awesome from Egypt to us. Definitely don't miss it if visiting the country. Definitely worth a visit Amazing trip. Mahmoud arranged everything Siwa. He even arranged tours elsewhere this little oasis tucked away in this wonderful part of activities to do and transportation in and out of
Good and interesting. Recommended
Very good experience, history, relaxation, and adventure
Unique experience to do once in a lifetime. The journey from Cairo is long, it takes at least 8 hours but it is worth The salt lakes are an indescribable color. But then Shali, the mountain of the dead.... all beautiful and interesting
I love Siwa and our guide Mo showed us the place during 3 days. We were in the desert of Siwas and he showed us the best places, as well as at Cleopatras Bath and the Temple of Amun Ra. It was a unique experience and I would definitely recommend the tour 🫶🏻
4 days is not enough for this amazing place, life is soothing there, people are so nice. Looking forward to returning, thank you Siwa for these sweet moments
Comfortably arrived in Siwa by private vehicle and had many tours and activities on a leisurely schedule. Our guide Mo Tolba was very familiar with Siwa and helped us travel without any inconvenience. He is a kind and pleasant person. The most memorable was a desert safari tour, where you'll never forget the moments of jogging in the vast desert, sandboarding, watching the sunshine and having tea and snacks. However, the condition of the accommodation was uncomfortable. Overall a pleasant trip and I'm thrilled!
We put together a package with Luxury Tours with three daily tours of Cairo (pyramids, museums, Saqqara..) and a trip of 3 nights (4 days) through the Siwa Oasis. Everything was wonderful, the service was excellent and they are very attentive and caring. The drivers Eslam and Muhamed are great and the local guide Isaac is wonderful (speaks Portuguese fluently). The trip through the Oasis of Siwa is spectacular and stunning and is well worth staying the 3 nights for being quieter. I recommend all packages with the Luxury Tour Egypt.
Incredible experience at Siwa! We had a wonderful time accompanied by Mohammed Adri and Eslam Ali (our guides), two wonderful and fun people, who made us feel very comfortable at all times. Today I can say that you are two great friends! The itinerary was magical from the beginning of the trip, we visited the incredible beaches of Marsa Matruh, on the road we came across a large number of dromedaries, we had dinner at the Bedouin camp and we went into the hot pools, we visited the mountain of the dead and the Siwa house museum, we saw a magical sunset, and were invited to dinner at the house of Hamed (a Bedouin), a great friend of our guide Eslam. On our last day and to end our incredible stay, we began by visiting the Oracle temple, then we went to the salt flat and immersed ourselves in its natural pools, we continued with a swim in Cleopatra's pool, and in the afternoon we went on the safari 4x4 in the Sahara desert, we sandboarded through the sand dunes and ended up enjoying a delicious tea watching the sunset. An unforgettable trip!
The Best experience of my life. Accompanied by great professionals and people. They made it a great trip with friends. It was a complete adventure, I would definitely repeat it. I felt accompanied at all times and enriched by culture, landscapes and history. Thanks Adri, Tolva and Eslam
