A great authentic experience and lots of fun even as a solo traveller . I met another solo traveller and we sat together and had lots of fun. The bread making was great and everyone who worked there was so warm and accommodating . Entertainment was also brilliant and the the best food I have eaten since being here in Egypt . The food was worth the extra price . The only small downfall was that I wish we had a bit longer and was being rushed to leave before we had even had dessert or watched the fire show yet . Thankfully we told the driver we wanted to stay for dessert and watch the fire show and he was happy with that

Itinerary
Authentic Egyptian Food Experience: The sun goes down behind the red desert mountains. The air gets cool, and you step inside a cozy tent. You sit on colorful rugs on the sand. The smell of burning wood fills the air. In the middle of the camp, a small campfire crackles. This fire is where your dinner will be cooked. Egyptian woman sits by the fire. She rolls out fresh dough until it is very thin. She throws it onto a hot metal plate over the fire. In seconds, she hands you a piece of hot, smoky flatbread. Next to her, another loaf of bread is baking directly under the hot sand and ash. This is how the Egyptian have made bread for hundreds of years. A cloud of delicious steam rises into the night air. This is the Zarb, an underground oven. They pull up a metal rack filled with chicken and lamb. The meat is so soft it falls off the bone. Under the meat is a big pot of rice that has collected all the tasty juices. Finally, the lights go out, and you see millions of stars. Your host boils a small pot of black tea right on the fire coals. He adds a wild desert mint called Habak. You sip the sweet, hot tea while listening to the quiet desert and the soft sound of a traditional drum.

Amazing experience! We had an amazing time, great people, great food, fabulous deserts. We had a lovely show and baking activity with the staff. The place looks unreal, the decor, the details, everything amazing! Highly recomand the tour team, such great people, amazing communication and ready to help you with all you need to have a 5 stars experience and memorie! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Very nice overall experience. Easy to navigate, the guide help communicate everything to me. Everything included from round trip hotel transfer to entertainment.
Overall an amazing experience and time I had highly recommend you try it.
Not as advertised, food was overpriced and in USD, so we were charged 10x more than others who ordered their meal there. Listing included a “representative” but there was no one there to assist us, we were just dropped off and the experience was not as advertised.
Awesome short tour if you are short of time or bored at nights. Food was amazing better then some famous hadramoots in cairo. People were kind and best part left u at peace to enjoy the night. There was no hassling at all !!! Tarek was our driver and he is a gem. Completely wonderful professional and safe drive. 1st time in cairo not hanging on for dear life in a car ride 🤣 kuddos Tarek🎉🎊🇪🇬
Great experience we had a lot fun food was good and the atmosphere was great
Food, entertainment and pickup service! We asked for a vegetarian meal and dessert and they were very accommodating. Pickup and drop off service was impeccable. Very cool experience with live music and dance. Recommended
We get into Cairo very early in the morning on this day. So decided to rest for the day & try something in the evening. WOW!!! This was a great place to visit. The Bedouins are nomadic people full of rich traditions and culture. There were several different dances performed & each one was stunning. Towards the end, they brought many people together to dance with the traditional moves, it was such fun! I think our favorite was the fire dancing toward the end of the night. All this happening while having a traditional Bedouin meal of a stew + meat option with rice and Bedouin Tea.
Fantastic experience..I suggest to everybody who cisit cairo
We had an amazing time at the Bedouin camp. First, everything was amazingly planned ahead with Amir by text and I could let him know what we wanted to eat etc. Driver arrived on time, very nice, car was impeccable, and great driving. We arrived at the camp, which is in the desert but not far from the road, but still we felt that we were isolated in the desert. We were quickly welcomed to sit, and have a tea. Then the food arrived. So delicious, and very well served. There was music, dancing, a fire show, it was very entertaining. The guy who took care of us, Muhammad was the NICEST guy we met in Egypt. So kind, and very protective of us as tourists, it felt great. And above it all, I had told them that it was my boyfriend’a 40th birthday, and they offered us a cake with a candle and sung a song for him, it was really great and it made it for an unforgettable night and birthday celebration. Thank you Amir and Muhammad 🙏🙏🙏
What an enchanting and amazing experience
This was honestly a highlight of our trip! Would definitely recommend, just make sure you come with a fun crowd
Such an amazing experience couldn’t recommend more- such a great insight into bedouin culture and really good food. 10/10
Amazing experience! Good food great history fabulous experience
Great experience, lots of food ( you can take a doggy bag which is nice ) and the activities were really cool especially making the bread !!!
Great night at the traditional bedouin camp, very good food and entertainment and Amir offered great communication throughout booking and arranging the transport.
Amazing experience. Well worth the money. Food is delicious (don’t skip the dessert option) van transport was comfortable and easy. The hospitality was great, everyone was very nice, polite, and respectful. Highly recommend :)
I had a lot of fun!! And the food was delicious, I would recommend this experience to everyone who wants to learn more about Bedouins or if you just want a fun experience with nice food and a little show!
A pleasant evening with a small groep. Pick up and return went smoothly. Amir was helpful and friendly. The food was very good and plenty. The remaining food was given to us to give it to those who need it most. Amir took care of that. The hosts were friendly and relaxed. Because it was a very quiet evening, We had the opportunity to connect.
We booked the Authentic Bedouin Night experience for 3 adults and 1 child and were very disappointed. Pickup was scheduled for 18:00, but the guide arrived at 18:45. After that, we drove for almost one hour to pick up additional guests before finally heading to the location. This caused a significant delay and made the start of the evening frustrating. When we arrived, there were almost no visitors. The entertainment consisted of two very short shows, each lasting only about 3–5 minutes. The overall atmosphere felt empty and underwhelming, and the experience did not match what was advertised. The booking description stated that the meal would include “3 salads.” In reality, it was one small salad and two sauces. The chicken meal was chicken with rice for $20. The lamb meal was lamb with rice for $30, and the lamb was mostly bone with very little meat. This felt completely overpriced for what we received. Dessert was offered at $10 and also did not feel worth the price. The driving was aggressive. The vehicle was full (8–9 adults), and we were traveling with a child. It felt unsafe and uncomfortable. In the booking description, it was stated that a tip of $5 per person was suggested to cover the staff and service. At the end of the evening, this was again requested, along with an additional tip for the “professional driver.” Considering we already paid approximately $190 for the entire experience, we did not feel this was justified. This was the first time during our stay in Cairo that we chose not to leave a tip due to dissatisfaction. Overall, the evening felt overpriced, poorly organized, and far from the authentic experience that was advertised.
Great experience from start to finish. Picked up directly from the hotel, Amir and Tarek were very friendly and helpful, and the staff at the Bedouin camp were welcoming. Everything was well organized and authentic. Highly recommended!
The coordinator Amir and his friends were very responsive, accommodating, and kind. We had delicious tea in a peaceful atmosphere under the desert night sky, then sampled wonderful dishes that seemed to keep coming, including very tender lamb baked under the ground. Definitely come hungry! As we left we were able to wander a little and watch the preparation of Bedouin bread - we were encouraged to try the process ourselves and enjoyed the warm, friendly environment so generously provided from start to finish.
Be prepared to have fun both with the staff and entertainment total different entertainment when dining!!
Very professional and friendly atmosphere!Good food and the location was great!Fire dance was amazing and great music!
The pre-booking was well managed - the return tour was managed separately from the dinner and we were unable to pay by credit card (only EFT) which was a challenge. I requested an invoice for the dinner from the tour guide and was assured that it would be possible - I have still not received anything despite asking for it several times. We ordered the lamb dish which was not great.
This tour was so much fun, exceeded my expectations! The food was great, the show was spectacular - especially the fire guy - and not too long. Strongly recommend checking it out.
Such a fun night out in Cairo! They handled everything, including picking us up right from our hotel. We loved the interactive experience of baking our own pita bread before settling in for a great dinner (the lamb and chicken were excellent). The fire show was intense and entertaining, and we finished off with a lovely dessert. A must-do experience!
Great experience. Our guide Amir was fantastic, very communicative and friendly. The food was very good - come hungry because there was more than anyone could eat.
If you're not sure-BE SURE!!! THIS WAS AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!!! The food, the entertainment and the service were top tier! They picked us up from our hotel and so we felt safe the entire time! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about history and the different people we encountered. This was one of the highlights of our trip! Would ABSOLUTELY recommend!!!
Amazing authentic experience, incredible food, hospitality and culture. if you are in Cairo you absolutely need to do this!
The food was delicious and the entertainment was fun. Amir arranged everything for us and was punctual, communicated well, and a great host
Best birthday ever!!! I strongly recommend the, experience is amazing!!! Great atmosphere and very nice people a lot of hospitality !
We had a great time! Food was really good and our guide accommodated our schedule and requests. There were also a few shows after dinner which were fun to watch!
What an amazing surprise the Bedouin csmp exoerience was. Our guide, Amir, was exceptionally friendly and professional. I chose this evemt blindly. When we arrived at the camp im the dessert the camp dinnwr nd entertainment area was nicely decorated We werw given the opporrunity to flatten oit and make our own tradional bread. That was a really mive activity. Afterwards, we sat atop pillow seats close to the ground. We werw first served delicios tea, appetizers, and oir main dishes. I opted foe the chicken and rice and the serving was huge. The meal tasted great. We were interrained by a dancer and a fire performer. Their was a DJ amd music throughout the evening. Such a great experience. I would absolutely do it again!
Very nice trip! Food, location… everything was perfect! A big Thanks to Amir the best Guide! Highly recommended if you want a authentic experience!
What an amazing night. Where do I begin! I read the other reviews and thought it sounded great but it exceeded our expectations. We were picked up and taken to the camp where we arrived and were greeted by very friendly staff who all spoke good English. We got the opportunity to make our own Egyptian bread (we won’t quit our day jobs) and watched multiple performances which were not only great but engaging too, from our very comfy seats (with the best view!) Dinner was absolutely unreal, £30ish each and we had so much food we even took loads home. Great for vegetarians too and incredible flavours. Thanks you for such a fun night!!!
I would highly recommend it! Amir took us to a beautiful local place in the desert where we tried pigeon for the first time which was really good! Just like chicken but better! Amir took us to the people that worked here and we got the chance to make our own bread with the help of the locals which I think is a once in a lifetime experience. While eating there was a fire show with music that was breathtaking! The artist also included us in the show which was a great touch to the whole experience. Amir is a very kind person full of knowledge and he shared with us some amazing stories about the history of Egypt and was able to answer all our question in depth! From us it’s a 10/10!
They charge 20 dlls just for the transfer.. they description in the advertising is not correct. Be ready to charge you more (10 to up for each plate or service). I will not take it again. It was good food and friendly people by other side. Im very grateful with everyone any way.
Nice experience overall. It was a good change of environment to be outside the city under the open sky at night for a tasty meal. I would recommend to fellow travelers.
Unforgettable experiences! Amir who was our tour quide couln't make more! Was very kind, professional and kindhearted. Bedouin village, People there is a really MUST-Experience when it goes about food tour in Cairo. Meals are delicious, unforgatable atmosphere. Highly, highly recommend!

We had an unforgettable Bedouin dinner experience in Egypt! The atmosphere was magical—dining under the stars with traditional music, delicious food, and warm hospitality. Our tour guide Andrew was incredibly knowledgeable and made the evening even more meaningful with fascinating stories and cultural insights. We also had a very reliable and professional driver who ensured everything ran smoothly and on time. Highly recommend this experience to anyone looking to connect with authentic Egyptian culture in a truly special way!
Absolutely amazing one of our best evening. A experience I won't forget. It was soo relaxed and the atmosphere was so magnificent. Andrew who was the representative, was so lovely and friendly and made this whole experience even more delightful 😊 we throughly enjoying his company and he made sure all our expectations were met. He went above and beyond to make things exceptional for us.
A great experience during our stay in Cairo. Amir was our guide. He was very helpful and friendly. He took a really good care of us, and we gained so much knowledge from him about Egypt and it's history. He stayed in our table all night and he help us with ordering the food. The cost of the food is extra $35 and you need to pay in cash, so be aware to have some cash with you. I cannot recommend enough!
An absolute discovery of authentic Bedouin food.We were immersed in their culture and traditions .The food was delicious and the entertainment for the night was so much fun. Our guide Amir was such a pleasure he was knowledgeable in all Egyptian cultures and traditions. The cherry on top is that he continued to be a call away for all other travel issues we had.
Amir is great. The food is delicious and lamb is my favorite. Desert and the tea are nice additions. It’s a great experience in a tent in a desert!
AMAZING EXPERIENCE! great staff and customer service, food was fantastic. Amir was very patient, informative, and made sure every detail was there.
You better be hungry! What a unique experience. My pickup was timely, and the evening was wonderful. The transfer went well, the food (too much) was delicious, and the entertainment was a great memory I'll have forever. A must do evening dinner while visiting Cairo.
