My experience with guide Basem was perfect. He was informative and friendly. We attended the pyramids at saqqara and dahsour. Got into three of them. Unforgettable adventure to pass through very narrow and low passages. Attended also the carpet museum with a huge high-quality collection. Day ended eating tasty traditional dishes at a fine restaurant.

I booked this trip last minute literally less than 24 hours before. I got confirmation that there were spots available, and within a few hours, the tour guide reached out to me via WhatsApp. So from the beginning, everything was very easy and accessible. The tour guide was knowledgeable and very friendly. One of the things I appreciated the most about this trip was that the guide and the team stuck to the program to the letter. It was originally supposed to be a group trip with other people, but apparently they either cancelled or did not confirm their reservations. Either way, I ended up being the only person who confirmed. Even with that, they did not cancel on me. They came, followed the itinerary exactly as planned, and did not ask me to pay any supplement. So it basically ended up being a private tour instead of the group tour that I had booked, which was a really nice surprise. The ride itself was pretty interesting. The driver was respectful, and we ended up having a great discussion about Egyptian history, the different eras, the monuments, the geopolitical powers of ancient Egypt, and how some of that history and influence can still be seen in Egypt today. Overall, I would say that the trip to the Red Pyramid and the surrounding pyramids is highly underrated. I had a great day. I was able to see the pyramids inside and out, essentially alone. There were no lines and no waiting, and there is a lot of history and a lot of things to see. I was also given plenty of time to explore each monument on my own, without ever feeling rushed. The restaurant they took me to was not a five-star restaurant by any means, so I would manage your expectations there, but the food was good. I would describe it as Egyptian-style fast food, with air conditioning. The food was good and the service was okay, so overall I had no complaints. What stood out the most to me was the team I went with. My guide, Muhammad, and the driver were both really respectful and honest, and they followed everything that had been promised in the program to the letter. I was never asked for extra money or pressured for a tip. I was given enough time to explore every monument, and the guide was with me whenever I needed him. I asked as many questions as I wanted, and never once was I made to feel that my questions were unwelcome. It is definitely the kind of trip I would do again, and I would highly recommend it. If I ever come back to Egypt, the organizers of this trip would be my first choice.

Sayed Mohamed was a wonderful guide. He was incredibly knowledgeable and guided us through the pyramids with ease. He made sure we were well taken care of. I highly recommend Sayed as a guide. Our driver Hatem moved through the city efficiently and safely. We felt we were kn competence hands. I would like to mention there was a discrepancy with the listing and what was actually included. However, Sayed contacted the operator and tried to resolve the issue. The ticket issue appears to have been an operator or booking problem rather than a guide problem. Sayed and Hatem were 5 stars.

I usually don't write bad reviews, but was I was harassed to write a good one, that I deleted afterwards, I think is important to leave this register. I had a bad very experience, first because, after one hour of delay, the guide I had told me wrong information about the sites: told me the Sphinx of Memphis is honoring Ramses II, what is not true, also told me Memphis was a faraoh and founder of the city, what is not correct and said Bes was a greek god, which isn't true. But the worst is he rushed me through the sites, I only could stay one our in Saqqara and only could see the exterior of the main pyramid, we didn't go anywhere near the others and when I tried to see a little more I was asked to "go faster, so we can leave faster": the time wasn't a problem before, and wasn't after when he tried me convice to go to a papyrus making site (another scam that I refused), but at the main reason for the tour we had to rush everything Of course there wasn't lunch at all. But to be fair they paid the difference. But the worst part, and the reason I decide to publish the review with all the details, is that in the end he brought me to a cafe to press me into rating him in front of him and send pictures of the rating to his boss. That's why I imagine part of the ratings here, that cites directly the same guide as I had and that seem very formal were the same situation of harassment. I don't recommend it at all. In general I had a great experiente in Egypt and the tours I had, expect this one. And I think the pratic of harassing reviews and taking pictures should be banned from this plataform
Had a great day w Mrwan to Memphis, Saqqara and then we ended up added on Dahshur. What stunning vistas! Amazing being able to go into Dahshur. Mrwan was very informative, helpful and so enthusiastic of his Egyptian culture. Mrwan has good English. Pick up was prompt, vehicle was large and comfy and our driver was superb zipping thru the Cairo traffic. Even got an intro into Egyptian music on our drive home. Highly recommend!

THE GOOD: personal guide (Bassant) with a very good level of Spanish and very kind. car with private driver, visiting 6 different places in half a day, very good buffet lunch, the only tour that picked me up punctually at the agreed time. THE BAD: everything was very fast, they did not give me complimentary water, and the tour offered an Egyptologist, but the girl was a translator. TO IMPROVE: there were journeys where we moved between the places, for example from the hotel to Saqqara or from Saqqara to Dashur. I would have liked it if they had told me more about history or interesting facts during these journeys. I am very grateful, and I recommend this tour! 👍🏿
