Pyramids And Museum On Private Tour, No Hidden Cost.

We were in Alexandria for 2 days on a cruise, and booked a tour to visit Cairo, the Giza pyramids, and our longstanding dream - the Grand Egyptian Museum. This private tour made our dream come to life! Although the drive from Alexandria to Cairo is long, we were transported in a comfortable car with an excellent driver who got us there and back safely and in good time. Our guide, Mahmoud, was outstanding!! He was knowledgeable, strategic, efficient and personable, and had the gift of making the visit very personal and memorable. He listened to what we wanted and adjusted the itinerary to address our expectations. This was the first time for my husband to visit the pyramids and Sphinx, and both of us have been planning to visit the GEM for 2 years…by luck and good karma, we were able to enter the GEM during its “soft opening” and on the last day it would be open to the public before its official opening in November! Mahmoud was also a creative photographer, and was able to capture our “highlight” moments with wonderful photos we will cherish forever. Thank you, Mahmoud, and thank you, Sun Pyramid Tours!!! We visit several antic monuments (Pyramids, sphinx ) and all Cairo museums. We visited also the Catholic and Muslim neighborhood, including downtown Cairo.

We just finished a two-day tour of Cairo, including the pyramids and best museums. This was an overnight shore excursion with two other couples. The tour could not have been better. Our guide was Mahmoud Emam. He was outstanding in every way. He speaks perfect English and is very knowledgeable and passionate about his country. He was friendly, flexible, personable, helpful, and everything you could possibly want in a tour guide. Sun Pyramids Tours was great to work with. Habiba did an excellent job in helping us plan this adventure. It was our first visit to Egypt and it left us wanting to return. Be forewarned that the traffic to and from Cairo is extremely chaotic and unpredictable and you will have to remain flexible with your schedule. But Mahmoud did the best he could possibly do to maximize our time and see the most important sights. We highly recommend SPT and Mahmoud!

Ive always dreamed of going to Africa, especially Egypt to see the pyramids up close. Mamoud, my tour guide, & Hemma, my driver, took care of my excursions from start to finish. Trust me, you want to use these guys. They know their way around, including all the rich history. They left no stone unturned. I was never hassled or rushed. I felt completely taken care of the entire trip. I was literally treated like a QUEEN for 5 days. Thank you so much for taking care of everything, so all I had to do was enjoy my vacation. In my opinion using a tour group to explore Egypt is absolutely necessary. We used Sun Pyramids Tours and I can easily say our trip was far better because we did. To begin, Youseff Mahmoud was beyond fantastic planning and arranging our tour. He worked with me to create a schedule in two different cities that included exactly what we wanted. He remained in contact with us over the months before the trip, answered questions immediately and even checked in during the tour to ensure that all was going well. I simply can’t say enough about his communication, follow through and execution of the perfect trip for us. He is also very kind, personable and professional. I am thankful to have had him as our tour scheduler/operator. Upon arrival in Luxor, we were met by our Sun Pyramid Luxor representative Mohamed. He was wonderful. He escorted us from the airport and ensured all of our needs were met upon arrival, during check in at our hotel, at the start of our tour the next day as well as upon our departure. We knew we would be in great hands with him as our representative and appreciated his professionalism and attention to detail. Our Luxor tour guide Mr Adel and driver Hany were also excellent. Mr Adel was a wealth of knowledge and very passionate about Egyptian history. He expertly guided and educated us at each location throughout our tour. Hany was amazing at getting us to each destination swiftly, comfortably and safely. We felt very well taken care of by all three representatives during our time in Luxor. In Cairo/Giza the high caliber of service continued. Our representative Carmalito and driver Mohammad Imman met us at the airport and ensured we were safely transported to the hotel as well as escorted us back to the airport upon departure. Carmalito was great, super personable and professional, and it is obvious he clearly enjoys his role in tourism. It is also impressive that he speaks 5 languages! As with our guide in Luxor, our Giza tour guide Walee Farah was also a vast resource of knowledge. She too provided a wealth of historical and cultural information at each of the locations, and gauged how we were all handling the heat throughout the day. We really appreciated that. (FYI - Egypt in July is a trade-off - far less crowded but extremely high temps). Our driver Mohammed ensured our safe, on-time and comfortable transportation all three days in Giza. It really takes an experienced, knowledgeable driver to navigate Egypt and it was comforting having that from both drivers during our entire stay in Egypt. In both Luxor and Giza, our guides and drivers were honestly invaluable. Aside from being experts in their fields, they were always on time, handled all of the ticketing and communication and helped us navigate security and entry at all of the sites we visited. I honestly couldn’t imagine trying to do all of that without them. They made our entire stay in Egypt easy, seamless and stress free. We explored many incredible sites including the Valley of the Kings, the Great Pyramid and the Giza Necropolis, The Sphinx, Karnak, Luxor and Queen Hatshepsut Temples, museums and more. We experienced the beauty of the Nile, rode camels, and enjoyed a family trip of a lifetime. Sun Pyramids Tours exceeded our expectations.

I had the best experience in exploring egypt tourism site with an excellent tour guide Ahmad Kamel and a wonderful driver Tareq Kilani. Both have good command in english language and would recommend for all tourists visiting Egypt.

They set up a four-day tour for us in Cairo, Luxor, and Aswan. It was great to be able to sightsee comfortably and efficiently. I would like to ask you again when you travel to Egypt.

We did the citadel and mosque, museum/mummy exhibit, and bazaar trip in Cairo. Hader was our guide and she was great! She explained all the history to us, showed us things, and gave us plenty of time to take pictures. During our trips we stopped at a few different stores, we really liked the Egyptian cotton store. Hader was so patient and kind. Sun pyramid tours made a great choice hiring her!

The evening " Sound and Light Show at the Pyramids" was amazing. I had the opportunity to" fly in past " and to obtains the information and to learn many news things about Egipt and specific traditions , from the guide Omar Saeed. I will remember this evening. She let me take my time and draw the pyramids, which I really appreciate. She was patient and answered my questions. Very knowledgable, but not over-informing, you know?! My sister and I were only in Cairo for 1 day and we couldn’t have picked a better tour and tour guide. Her name was Dalia and she was incredible. Super patient, nice and never rushed us. Had a good experience with sun pyramid tours. Ms. Maram arranged everything perfectly for us, from the airport pick up to the guided tours at the museum and pyramids. Everything went smoothly and without any significant hiccups. Mr. Mohammad was our tour guide and he did a fantastic job as well. He explained Egyptian history while smoothly sliding in his hilarious one liners. He's a great photographer too. Mr. Khalil, our driver, deserves special mention too. I almost passed on this tour to save a little money but I'm SO glad we scheduled it! Dalia is an excellent guide and has so much history she gives during the tour! We absolutely loved hanging out with her for the day! She is so kind and answered any questions we had! She also suggested a great spot for good quality souvenirs! We got so many great photos! Dalia was ALWAYS willing to stop for us and take photos of us. She is very patient. One of our favorite things about this private tour was our driver Mohamed and his patience as he took us from stop to stop! We didnt have to walk everywhere which was extremely nice since it was SO hot outside and Mohamed kept the car nice and cool. We were able to keep our bags in the car and not have to carry them all over the place! Trust me, A/C is a wonderful thing in between stops! It is a good distance between stops! I also liked how many locals left us alone because we were with Dalia. It can get quite tiresome as they can be very pushy!! We enjoyed our time so much and the day went by so quickly. We also had lunch in a great little spot! I enjoyed our private van, away from the big crowds. I totally recommend this private tour! You will not regret it.

I had a great time! My guide Mohamed was very helpful, knowledgeable and made me feel very welcome in Egypt. My driver Mohamed got us where we needed to be and back in a good safe time. Both were very personable and made sure I had a good time and tried new things wherever we went.

We had only one day in Cairo and booked this tour. Yassar our guide and his driver Abed Alrehim picked us up on time at the airport and we drove to the Egyptian Museum. During the drive, Yassar told us the history of Egypt. He did this in a very memorable way so we understood everything. We visited the museum, had lunch, enjoyed Egyptian hospitality, were at the bazaar, and visited the pyramids. Yassar got to the heart of every question and helped us have an incredible experience. He made us feel very comfortable and enriched us with his knowledge. I highly recommend him and our driver. Thank you so much!

This was by far the best tour ever. My guide Mohammad was nothing short of amazing. Very knowledgeable and educated on every aspect of this tour. Made me feel very comfortable and he allowed me to take all the time and pics that I wanted. Did not feel pressured to do anything and he always allowed me options. The Great Pyramid Inn our home in Giza with breathtaking views of the pyramids, Ali Baba, feeding us with great food and classy courtesy service, (the ambassador of the hotel) and their excellent team complete our experience and made my dream come true. Notice I haven’t mentioned the security or safety concerns, there are none. Lastly, a huge thanks to all that gave us such a warm welcome in the amazing Egypt. We’ll be back!

We had Mahmoud Emam as our guide. He was excellent, full of energy and provided a ton of information. We also had him the following day for the Egyptian Museum, again.. excellent and professional. I appreciate that he allowed us to have some free time to explore by ourselves, but was always nearby in case we needed anything. Him and his driver (Egyptian Vin Disel) worked really well together. Would definitely book with Mahmoud again!

This review only allowed me to check one box of what we did but we actually did much more with this touring Company over two days! They picked us up at the airport in Cairo and brought us back and delivered a delicious dinner, and the light show on the pyramids on the rooftop! I was speechless and it was stunning and surreal. We stayed at Ahmed’s Hotel and he made sure that the food and the entertainment were too notch. He went on the tours with us that day which was extremely personal service and gave us very special treatment. We were a large scuba group. He had an Egyptologist with us who knew all of the history so when we went to the museums and the pyramids and the Papyrus paper shop and jewelry shop, he was able to help us find great deals for the things that we loved. We also did the horse/horse carriage/camel rides with our group the camels were well taken care of, better than the others we had run across. My camel was especially happy. His name was Casanova and he galloped with me! We stayed in his hotel and I will write that on the other page but it was wonderful as well. Most of the rooms don’t have much of a view but you go to the rooftop to see everything so it’s OK. Old marble floors, High quality Decour and statues to represent the city of Giza and Cairo. Now, I wouldn’t want to be with anyone else. our group left at four different times and he made sure all of us got to the airport on time and kept a driver around for an hour to make sure that we were safe since we were all separated from our group leader the way our flights took off. He kept in touch with me afterward to make sure I got home OK since there were four legs to our travel and lots of airline issues. I think the owner Ahmed genuinely had fun with our group!

These guys have Cairo completely at their mercy! From the moment we were picked up from the airport, to the sensational Pyramids Sound & Light Show and fabulous dinner afterward. From the prompt morning pick up and whirlwind, all-encompassing tour of the fascinations of the city to the magical dinner on the Nile complete with belly dancing. From the once again prompt pick up for our transfer back to the airport to the heartfelt goodbyes, these guys made us a part of their family - at least it felt like it. The best guide of Cairo and the best company. I don’t know where to begin. The first day when they picked us up, they (the best driver Achmed and our lovely beautiful guide Iman) welkomed us friendly and made us comfortable right away. It was a very sunny day my boyfriend and I where very tired, but our guide Iman was super energetic and she took such a good care of us like we were her family. We were with Iman and Achmed for 3 days. I am never going to forget Caïro because of them! They made us feel safe. When my boyfriend and I first arrived in Caïro, the traffic was a little scary, but do not worry with Achmed. He drives better then people in Europe (I am from the Netherlands) Iman, I want to thank you for everything and I mean everything. The tour, the history, the lovely stories and how you took care of us. You are a big sis for us. People who are reading this, Everytime when I go to a new country, people are not that friendly as Egypt. The loving and the sharing. Abdullah and Mohamad were extremely punctual and the epitome of professional. My only disappointment was that we were not prepared to pay extra for the mummy room at the museum which Abdullah told us did not take credit cards at the entrance. Abdullah kindly paid for us and allowed us to reimburse him. We ended up having to pay an additional 380 LE ($23 US) for the two of us to enter the room. Abdullah's knowledge of history of everything was exceptional. His coordination with Mohammad who drove us around was perfect. He also became our photographer for the day! Mohammad was punctual and very friendly. His driving in the chaos on the streets of Ciaro was fearless and constrained. He was so calm which truly kept me calm. Thank you Nada for your assistance. this day tour was recommended and we were not disappointed. My buddy and I arrived in Cairo for just a 12 hour layover and wanted to see everything we could. This company could not have offered better service, knowledge and friendliness. Our guides Mohamed and Ahmed were accommodating to every want and need and very grateful to us for visiting their city. They were genuinely excited to work hard for us to show us everything. We started at the Cairo museum ( ever 160k artifacts) and then headed to Giza for pyramids and Sphinx. Along with a lunch. Very knowledgeable about the history. Be prepared though because the history is overwhelming. Perhaps read up a bit before visiting. If you want the best call and ask for these two. They are 5 star in every way. You will not want for anything. They know the ins and outs and short cuts to avoid the lines etc. it was truly a wonderful experience. Anyone on the fence about visiting Cairo should stop and book it right now. They will show up on time, speak English and do whatever you want for a very reasonable price. They aim to make sure you come back and tell are your friends. I am certainly going to do just that and can't wait to visit again. well done fellas. mashallah

our tour guides was awesome they was very knowledge about everything anything and every question you had they had the correct answer for Ahmed Allam made sure we was safe and taken care of very well. when we got to the airport it was very scary our tour guide text us made sure we was safe they was front and center to protect us. They was on time make sure we was all together. for pick up he told us where to go and exactly where he would be pickup was on time , drop off was 2 hours for flight time schedule and specific destinations was exactly where he told us it would be at. the route to and from airport and hotel was amazing!!! the best part of my trip was everything from start to finish no surprises at all parts of the best experience was the tour guides Mohamed Fayed will treat you like royalty hands down!! the drivers are well respected and are on time for every pick Adel will make you sure you are safe!! the desk clerks will make sure you have everything you need from wake up calls and food and water the restaurant upstairs is beautiful ali will feed you all day if you let him. I suggest that you bring light clothing wear sneakers and just respect the culture the tour guide are prompt and on time bringing a camera and extra battery for your phone and European wall outlets. I want to thank sun pyramids for everything!!

The team picked us up at the airport and showed us the next day the pyramids, the Cairo museum, a papyrus shop, including meals, a very passionate guide speaking French. It was perfect!

I highly recommend, they were very serious we had planned a day in Cairo by plane from Hurgada. Well present on arrival at the airport, then Cairo museum with driver and guide, lunch in a very decent restaurant then visit to the sphinx and the pyramids. As we had time before our plane at 11 p.m. to return to Hurghada they booked us a dinner cruise on the Nile with a show (to do) from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. then return to the airport. Thank you to the teams and remember to tip them, they deserve it given their attention. The guide was great

We were a group of adults and children. We turned to Sun Pyramids Tour for a 3-day tour that included Giza, Sahara, Memphis, Cairo with citadel, mosque, museum and bazaar plus the desert and the valley of the whales. It was all wonderful, organized perfectly by Ahmed. The Nile cruise with dinner and show is also fantastic. Our guide, Mr Akef, very knowledgeable and very kind, managed to involve even the little ones. Our companion Omar, on the other hand, was truly precious and was a point of reference for the older kids. Thanks again to all the staff, true professionals.
