Pyramids, Egyptian Museum Layover With Camel & Felucca Ride

I can highly recommend this experience if you are time limited and want to experience the essence of Cairo. My son and I were met at the airport by Amar and his driver, the car was modern and clean and had aircon and wifi. Amar was extremely knowledgeable and described the history of the different areas of Cairo as we passed through them. We visited the Cairo museum where Amar explained the different dynasties and directed us to the key areas of the museum so that we had the best experience in the time available. The highlight for me was being able to view Tutankhamen’s treasures. After the museum we went for an amazing lunch. The restaurant served a variety of Egyptian food in small dishes which they were happy to replenish when asked. It was a great opportunity to try the local food and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. In the afternoon we visited the pyramids at Giza. Amar’s experience was evident as he guided us past all the queues and in through the entrance with minimal delay. He had used the time in the car to explain the structure of the pyramids and was willing to arrange for us to go inside had we wanted to. There were lots of photo opportunities with the pyramids and on the camel ride and Amar took some lovely photos of both of us. We completed our day with a relaxing felucca ride on the river Nile, experiencing panoramic views of the city from the river. We were then driven back to our hotel ready to catch our connection. Amar was extremely professional and I would definitely recommend this tour.

We loved our tour with Amr around Cairo. We were impressed with the extreme detail of all the facts and history. It was fast moving and satisfying allowing us to see all the highlights in just the short amount of time we gave him. Highly recommended if you are coming to Cairo.

Amr is a super prepared guide, during the tours makes you live a unique experience, he explains in detail what you are seeing, whatever you ask him he finds you the solution, we had not planned anything for Christmas Eve and he from morning to night organized a beautiful mini cruise on the Nile with dinner and show included, a real champion of tours and events, super recommended!

This agency has organized for us a perfect tour: Amr with his driver picked us up from the hotel early in the morning and we started with the visit of the pyramid plain, he took fantastic photos of us and made an in-depth explanation. Afterwards we reached the Egyptian Museum where Amr guided us during our visit. For lunchtime we were in a typical place to taste the famous Shawrma, in the afternoon we explored the bazaar and finally we took a trip on the falucca on the Nile to admire the sunset. Friendly and friendly, an excellent guide for those who want to know Cairo and its wonders in many ways.

It was a beautiful excursion. We were lucky enough to have a fantastic guide, Amr, who told us about the history of ancient Egypt and their culture, making everything extremely enjoyable and fun. He took us to visit Cairo and its wonderful museum, we took a mini cruise on the Nile and then headed towards Giza and its pyramids, a camel ride through the desert dunes and concluded with a photo shoot with the Sphinx. If we were to return, we would like him again as captain of the trip.

On 31/12 we visited Cairo....our guide, Omar, took us to visit the Egyptian Museum, the Pyramids and the Sphinx. He also made us make a camel to better admire the aligned pyramids... Omar has a very good background and is very engaging in telling Egyptian history. He was very helpful and proactive...
