Private Transfer From Cairo Airport

Rimo Tours saved my first day in Egypt. They modified my booking for the hotel transfer at the very last minute. Ali Salah of Rimo Tours company patiently awaited until I completed all formalities at the Intl airport thoug it was already early in the morning and then quickly and safely took me to the hotel. I arrived late, my flight was late (very unusual for Egyptair) and delays getting off the plane, passport control and baggage reclaim. If my driver had left I would have totally understood, but no he was waiting for me. My lovely driver was Abdel-Masih Girgis. He spoke a little about Cairo to me, my favourite city ❤️. He's an excellent and careful driver, especially in the mad traffic of downtown Cairo. He had me at my hotel in no time at all. I hope on my return journey he is my driver as I enjoyed the journey to my hotel and felt very safe with his excellent driving.

A very bad experience. I booked a transfer service going from Cairo International Airport to New President Hotel in Cairo on October 11 via Viator. The service, operated by RimobTours was confirmed online. I paid in full in advance. When I booked, I was asked and I told them accordingly the airline and flight number. They said that they would wait for an hour. We did proceed fast after getting off the plane to get our travel visas, go through customs and immigration as well as picking up our baggage. The flight was scheduled to land at the Airport at 6:25pm that day. We started waiting for the Rimo Tours driver at about 7:15pm at the designated spot. We waited and waited but saw no one even though a few Rimo Tours vans and cars rushed by. After having managed to communicate with the company I was told that the driver had missed us and they refused to send someone to pick us up in his place. It was already about 8:30pm. We were made to wait for nothing and figure out an alternative way to go to our hotel without help. I would never book any transfer with Rimo Tours again.

Muhammad Rady was our driver and he was so welcoming upon our arrival! Our flight was delayed for 2 delays and he got there at our original flight time and stayed at the airport for 2 hours and didn’t bother at all about the delay! On our transfer, he purposely went out of his away to give us a mini tour of Cairo on our way to our hotel. He ended the ride with giving us traveling tips for Egypt as it was our first time and we were a group of females and the tips were so valuable!

The driver made my last experience with Egypt so memorable. He is a very good guy

Nice trip, nothing to complain.

They never showed up. We waited nearly an hour. Nothing. And no information on how to contact them, phone or text. We ended up prey to the taxi vultures at the airport, which is what we wanted to avoid. A total nightmare.

No one showed up. We waited and looked for a driver for almost an hour. Nothing. And no way to get on touch with anyone. We ended up taking a taxi. Now a headache to get a refund.

Helped us with the luggage to his vehicle and drove us safely through what is very entertaining, Egyptian traffic to our hotel. He was professional and safe.

He even waited for us extra time, which helped us a lot, and we really appreciated his patience. An excellent service and one third of the price compared to what our tour operator would’ve charged if they had organised the taxi from Cairo Airport to our hotel. Overall good experience. It was a little unclear where to look for the driver. He ended up being out the exit door and across the street with the sign for our name. Luckily we had cell service to communicate on WhatsApp and found him. Minor delay. Also, had to walk about 10 minutes to where the car was parked. But once we got on our way, it was great and the driver was very nice and informative pointing out things on the way to our hotel. Recommend driver wait closer to door, inside optimally.

Muhammad Rady was our driver when we arrived at Cairo Airport, and we had an excellent experience. Our flight was delayed, but he was very patient and waited for us until we were finally able to leave the airport. He was also kind enough to wait while we purchased our SIM cards so we could have internet access. He was very attentive, friendly, and professional throughout the whole experience. He made us feel comfortable and relaxed after such a long trip and was very helpful from the moment we arrived in Egypt. We definitely recommend his service!

Never managed contact. Flight was delayed twice, despite emails and whats app promises there was no one there when I exited airport. Spent 40 Min looking for driver, eventually hired alternate transport. Hopefully i will be offered a refund

It was very bad experience, after my booking been confirmed and settled and in the day of travel (few hours before flight time) they sent an email for additional charges due to my drop off destination in Giza and number luggages. Additional cost was around 200% of original cost paid and i don’t have plan B and forcibly accepted.

Seamless transition. We actually booked with this company a total of 4 times and each time was fairly straightforward. Communication was handled in advance and everything was laid out clearly. At the airport, the person would be there with our name and it was easy to spot them with the instructions as well as communication on whatsapp. Only thing I would say can improve is that our transfer from the hotel to the airport, there drivers sometimes sped a bit more than we would like. We got there earlier than expected and we appreciated that but would recommend to slow down a little bit just for safety. Overall, we did note that taxi drivers in cairo definitely speed a lot so this is a widespread thing and I do not particularly blame the company. Overall still highly recommend.
