The guide Martina contacted us the evening before the tour which is very helpful to arrange for meeting time and place. The driver and guide were punctual the morning of the tour. We spent almost one full day to visit the Giza site and we had also a quick visit to Memphis. We suggest to arrive at site opening to enjoy the visit we less visitors and, if you want to enter in the Cheope pyramid, ask to do as first, buying tickets at entrance, and then visit the exteriors ( there is a lunch stop between 12-13). Memphis is a small site, with two/three masterpieces: it's worthwhile if you have spare time. The Guide Hazem is a professional with licence and is willing to follow your needs and interests. He speaks good English and he explains clearly the essential, without telling fancy stories as lots of guides do. In brief, we suggest to book this tour

After checking through a few companies I settled with Deluxe Travel Egypt as they were the only company who provided the guide and drivers based on my itinerary. We organised our own hotels and internal flights. Our trip covered Cairo(Giza Plateau), Hurghada, Luxor(Valley of the Kings) and Aswan(Abu Simbel)(10 days). I was able to complete everything that was agreed to. Yassar was very professional and prompt with his email replies from the very start when I was obtaining pricing and providing up to date information as our trip progressed. Our guide (Zizou) was professional and provided enough information for our time on the Giza plateau, Saqqara etc. All the drivers arrived on time and took us exactly where we wanted to go with no unplanned stops as we didnt want to go to markets etc due to our limited time. These guys are great and their pricing is competitive.

We had an incredible experience on our private tour of the Pyramids of Giza, Sakkara, and Memphis! From start to finish, everything was seamless and enjoyable. On Day 1, I visited Saqqara and Memphis in the morning, had lunch at a buffet restaurant and Giza and Sphinx in the afternoon. It was a good opportunity to learn the history of Egypt, and I enjoyed all activities, including getting inside the pyramids and camel back riding.

We had an excellent tour with Zizou! He was very clear and such an expert on the tombs and Egyptian history in general, especially hieroglyphics! We learnt so much and it was a great introduction on our first day. He was responsive to our interests and we entered into many tombs with incredible artwork and architecture. We are also happy we went and saw these sites in addition to the great temples - loved having a deeper perspective and appreciation of the development over time. Communication was easy, driver was kind and very skilled. Highly recommended!

Even though this was our first visit to Egypt, the prompt attention and friendly and immediate responses from Deluxe Travel Egypt for all our queries put us at ease. Since we were able to talk to Ms. Mona and discuss in person, we were more reassured. We were picked up from the hotel lobby exactly at the appointed time by our friendly guide ZiZou (Mr. Zanaty Mohamed) and driver Omar. The transportation provided for me and my wife was a comfortable air conditioned van. Our guide ZiZou was extremely friendly, helpful and considerate, and took care of all requirements such as obtaining tickets, passing through security checks, drinking water, purchases, etc. He is very knowledgeable about Egyptian history, geography and culture, which immensely enhanced our experience. Another thing worth mentioning is the scores of very good photographs clicked by ZiZou using his phone, and shared later with us. His selection of the spots, lighting and the angles for the photos were very good, and these have become cherished mementos for us from the short trip. Our only regret is that our trip was too short (we had only one day in Cairo), and we do hope that we will be able to return with our extended family in the near future for a longer trip. We also hope that we can have support from the same wonderful team, of ZiZou, Omar and Deluxe Travels Egypt.

My husband and I did this private tour in February. The driver Omar was great and we felt very safe in his hands. The guide Hosni was very knowledgeable and took us through the stages of pyramid building in chronological order which I highly recommend. They were timely, flexible and attentive to our needs. Do add the additional visits to the Unas pyramid (best preserved inside) and Serapum tomb (amazing complex underground) to make it a complete overview. I was picked up from the airport by Mohamed Ali the organizer in a nice air conditioned car with a kind diver who drove safe and with cautious in a busy Cairo streets to the hotel. Went for tour with a very knowledgeable, experienced and professional tour guide to many wonderful places during my stay and went to shop from credible stores to buy authentic Egyptian souvenirs with reasonable prices .. Zanaty our tour guide was also a great photographer took many great pictures that was surprisingly creative. I highly recommend to hire this great team of professionals for your next trip

My friends and I spent the whole day seeing Saqarra, Memphis, and the Giza pyramids with Zanaty and Sayed the driver. We had a wonderful day. Zanaty and Sayed were early picking us up from our hotel, which we appreciated. Zanaty was so knowledgeable and clearly excited about what he does. He shared with us so much information and was able to answer all of our questions. He chose a wonderful lunch restaurant which was also able to accommodate my vegetarian friend, and we grooved to some Egyptian music and saw them make Egyptian bread. My other friend loves to shop, and he bargained for her and made sure she got the best deal for all of her purchases and took us to a store selling Egyptian cotton goods for her to buy sheets. We wish we had more time in Egypt, because we would certainly book another excursion with Deluxe Tours and Zanaty! Ask for him, you won't be disappointed.

I had an incredible time during my layover tour with Deluxe! My guide, Mohammed, was very personable and knowledgeable and put the effort into making sure I had a good time as a solo traveler! My driver, Omar, was kind and a very safe driver as well. As my layover was 17 hours, Mohammed and Omar provided some extra stops to make the most of my time in Cairo, including visiting local/historic rug-weaving, paper-making, and essential oils businesses. Omar even took me to ride a felucca on the Nile after my tour was over (for an extra $30) which was something I had really wanted to do but didn't think I would be able to. Lunch was at a decent buffet-style restaurant, although be aware that you'll have to pay for your drinks (they're cheap though). Of the three scheduled destinations, I loved Saqqara the most. We got there early in the morning when there weren't many tourists and I got to see tombs up close and personal (for an additional cost). Overall, this tour was more than I could've asked for and I highly recommend it!

We booked a private tour to visit Memphis, Saqqara and Giza pyramids with Deluxe Travel Egypt on a very short notice. Impressed with their professionalism and quick communication. Tito, Egyptologist and excellent storyteller, and the driver picked us up at the hotel the next day and off we went. We had an amazing time and learned so much. It is a plus to go in a smallish group because you are more agile to move around. It’s also handier to listen to Tito’s explanations. (Ask him about the Greek weddingcake) Clearly he knows the history and sites inside out and showed us bits and pieces that you would miss as a tourist going solo. He also knows the best spots to take a photo :) We started off in Memphis, then Saqqara and finished with the pyramids and sfinx in Giza. If you have to chose between Giza or Saqqara, opt for the latter. There is much more to see and to learn about. Make sure to buy an extra ticket to go in the tomb. Quite mesmerizing! We were grateful that our driver foresaw cooled water for purchase. Also, bring a scarf to protect you from sun, sand and wind. And some euros or dollars if you want to buy a souvenir.

We got an amazing tour lead by Titto who taught us so much! I especially loved the temple complex at Saqqara, and the majestic Sphinx!

We had a great first day with Mahmoud as our private tour guide for our family of 3 {2 adults and 6 yo). This was the first of 3 days and I'll return to update and add at the end of the 3. We toured Giza (including the great pyramids and Sphinx), Saqqara (going inside a tomb and into one of the pyramids), and Memphis with special stops to pick up unique souvenirs. Mahmoud had great knowledge and is a great story teller! Special shout out to Ihab, who navigated the drive safely and confidently.

Guide Mohamed Gomaa spoke excellent English, was passionate about the history of the places we visited, but knew to give me some space to take in each site rather than talk my ear off. He volunteered interesting information, could answer all my questions, and even snapped some great pics of me since I was traveling solo. What more could you want?
