Great tour of Saqqara area! Sameh was very knowledgeable and made the history interesting and easy to understand. Moamen was an excellent driver, friendly, reliable, and made the day very comfortable. I had a great experience and highly recommend both of them.

Our first day in Egypt for my wife and me. We had a gap in the itinerary so booked this private tour on the same day. What a great move to start our amazing Egypt adventure. My husband and I took this Tour and couldn’t have been happier. Our flight landed early and I asked Ramsey‘s Egypt if I could move the Tour forward two hours and they said no problem they were at our hotel within half an hour. Our driver who is also the tour organiser, Sameh took us to each of the three sites and was always waiting at the end - this is needed when you are in Egypt in hot temperatures! Included in the tour is a highly educated Egyptologist Mohamed. His knowledge and information made the Tour interesting and enjoyable. We highly recommend this Tour. Everyone visits the Sphinx and pyramids in Giza like we did, but these other sites are definitely worthwhile. They are also less crowded.Highly recommended.

Our original was booked for 10 am but because our flight came in early I messaged the organiser and asked If we could move the Tour to 8 am and they said no problems! Our driver Sameh arrived within half an hour. Visiting the three different sites was incredible. Muhammad, our guide is a highly educated Egyptologist, his knowledge and Information gave us great insight into the ancient Egyptian world. Sameh was waiting for us when we finished touring each site, which was important when it’s 46°.Highly recommended.

We spent the day with Mohammed as our guide. He showed us so many incredible parts of Giza and Cairo. It really was an incredible experience. He is super knowledgeable and has excellent attention to detail - taking the time to explain all of the history to us and helping us to capture some amazing content. I would definitely be recommend him!

Our driver Mohammed drove very comfortably and calmly through the tough and hectic traffic of Cairo. He was perfectly punctual and always available and ready to leave when we arrived at the car, heading for the next station. Our guide, the well-educated Sahar Elsharif, did a great job showing us around — she was really doing the tour with heart ❤️. She informed us about what to see at the next points, talked knowledgeably about the facts and interesting details, and helped us to focus on the important things while addressing questions and special interests we came with. Additionally she is personable and seems to be an interested and interesting part of society. I have never before had a tour guide with so much knowledge — even when we asked questions that were not necessarily connected to the tour. I wish to have more guides and drivers like you and wish you all the best.

Dashur, Memphis and Sakkara is very interesting. Mohamed, the driver is perfect.

Prompt pickup, polite driver and guide. Good tour, good information. We think that once we made it clear that we did not want to visit the carpet, oil or spice shops the tour added in, they should have offered the Imhotep Museum option (at our cost) in Saqqara. It seemed like early tour finish was more the priority.

Punctual driver and guide. Pyramids and history very interesting. Once we strongly advised our guide we were not interested in the carpet, oil or spice shops he wanted to take us to, he could/should have offered us the choice of paying entry and visiting the Imhotep Museum instead of finishing early so he could go home. We would have loved the option and still finished in good time.

Very good trip, recommend for a comprehensive tour of what the area has besides the most famous pyramids. Lunch was also good!

The driver was excellent and the guide was excited about the information and tried to make it fun at the same time! She let us go at our own pace and answered all our questions.

These locations less frequently visited than the Giza pyramids and not very far from town. It got progressively crowded while there. You will need to hire a driver from Cairo- too far for Uber. I went to Red Pyramid, Memphis and Saqqara. I went at what I thought was a good pace- spent to walk around, take pictures, enjoy the surroundings. It was 5 hours start to end. You can climb down the Red Pyramid. This takes some stamina. You are walking sideways, down a slope with a ceiling of 4-5 feet. At Saqqara, multiple things to see at the necropolis. Good luck figuring out what the ticket or doesn't cover. A ticket with add-ons for certain parts of the necropolis, even with the inclusive ticket. The add ons are not that expensive (maybe a few USD? I would have paid and additional $10 to not think about it). Still got to see plenty. There are attendants at several of the attractions to check your ticket. However, plenty of people who don't work there will ask to see your ticket. They want to be your guide and probably looking for a tip.

Excellent experience. The guide and driver were incredible and extremely nice. A must to avoid unwanted vendors, will give you recommendations to improve your experience. My guide H will give you the explanation and information and will leave you to explore on your own you won't feel rushed from place to place. Highly recommend.

Moamen is great. It was a really nice experience. He was always with us. We went in everything by car with him and waited for us the whole time. He is the best

A driver Ahmed is really helpful and try to make me enjoy while we’re going to the airport And he speaks Japanese language quite fluently so we talked in Japanese where I had good time

This private tour exceeded all expectations! From the very beginning, everything was organized at the highest level: comfortable transfer, attentive guide and a wonderfully thought-out route. We started our journey from Saqqara - the place where the famous Step Pyramid of Djoser is located, which is considered the first pyramid in the history of mankind. The atmosphere of this place is simply mesmerizing - you can feel its enormous historical value. Our guide spoke in great detail about the features of the pyramid, construction technologies and rituals that were held in this complex. We also visited ancient tombs with incredibly well-preserved paintings that tell about the life of people of that time. The next stop was Memphis - the once majestic capital of Ancient Egypt. Here we were amazed by the huge statue of Ramses II, which conveys all the power and might of this pharaoh. We also saw a beautiful alabaster sphinx, which has retained its mystery after millennia. The last stop of the tour was Dahshur – a place where we had the opportunity to see the Red and Broken Pyramids. The Red Pyramid surprised us with its perfect proportions and the opportunity to go inside, feeling the real atmosphere of the ancient builders. The Broken Pyramid impresses with its unique shape, which testifies to the experiments of the Egyptians during the construction process. I would like to separately mention a delicious lunch at a local restaurant, where we tasted traditional Egyptian dishes. In general, this tour was a real discovery for us! We received a huge amount of new knowledge, wonderful photos and unforgettable emotions. If you want to see more than just the pyramids of Giza, this tour is the perfect choice!

My schedule was tight in Cairo having only booked one night. I was able to do everything I wanted to in the first day with Mohamed so decided to do this tour also. I'm so glad I did. To be honest, I enjoyed this more than the giza pyramids. The day started with a drive to dahshur where I was able to see farming life outside of the big city. We arrived in dahshur where I was able to explore the red pyramid and bent pyramid. Unbelievable. It's like an adventure playpark for adults haha! Next stop was memphis where got to see the statue of ramses 2 and other archaeological finds. Fantastic! Then onto sakkara which started at the museum. Then onto visiting tombs and the area around sakkara. Unbelievable! Id love to see it in its former glory. Once again Mohamed was an amazing host. He really took care of everything and providing great insight and knowledge of the area and history. The day finished with some amazing food back at the hotel with the best view. Thanks again, Mohamed for an amazing experience!!!

We have an amazing time in Egypt, specially in Cairo and around we have a tour in saqqara and Memphis area, also the pyramids and sphinx. Having our experienced tour guide was very important, the tour was smooth and amazing.

An excellent driver and tour guide who knows very well the Egyptian history, and who is also local known in his country and who lives in Cairo. Mr Mohamed is strongly recommended, and he knows English fluently. He can also speak Italian, Arabic and Russian fluently. He also has his own car which he can drive to sights for those who need this.
