Private Tour To Luxor From Cairo By Air In Egypt

I can’t thank the team at Sun Pyramids Tours enough for the exceptional Luxor to Aswan trip they planned for us. They arranged everything - our air travel from Cairo to Luxor and back from Aswan to Cairo (Sun Pyramids also planned our itinerary and made all our tour and transfer arrangements while in Cairo as well), pick up and drop off at the airport and to each tour destination at each stop via private van on our fabulous Nile Cruise in the beautiful Sonesta St. George (I’ll be writing a separate glowing review of this fantastic ship and its staff and service). Our travel agents Aya and Dina arranged upgraded cabins for me, my wife and two kids to enhance the experience further. They stayed involved every day to ensure the itinerary met our expectations. In our case it exceeded them. We hit all the main spots, including Karnak and Luxor Temples, Valley of the Kings, Edfu, Kim Ombo and Philae Temples, Nubian Village (the boat ride there and back on the Nile is spectacular), and Abu Simbel (do not miss this!). Traveling far from home can be unsettling, but with Sun Pyramids we always felt safe and well taken care of. A real highlight of our trip was our fantastic guide, Eslam Muhammad. He was kind, personable, and incredibly knowledgeable. Eslam gave us in depth explanations of each place we toured so we were immersed in the historical perspective and significance of every place we saw. On these trips you pack a lot in on not much sleep and he was also patient and understanding if we were hot (it’s 105 degrees in Egypt in July), tired, and when my wife and daughter weren’t feeling well to accommodate them while still getting the most out of the experience. He took great care of us and is exactly the kind of guide you want to have on a trip like this. 5 stars! Thank you Sun Pyramids, and especially Eslam, for making our dream vacation so special!!

This was a truly amazing tour and I am so glad I booked it. Aya Yasser from Sun Pyramids was amazing at coordinating every thing to make it a seamless trip from pick up to return. The hosts were great and Ahmed the tour guide was exceptionally knowledgeable on history and pointing out key information. We started on the west side of Luxor with the Valley of the Kings, and truly beautiful wall art in the tombs. Then we went to the Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut. Then a quick stop at the open air museum for the mortuary of Amenhotep III, followed by a great lunch at Carter House. For the afternoon, we turned to the east side of Luxor to visit the must see temples of Karnak and Luxor. It was truly a once in a lifetime experience!

Five out of five, great private tour tour guide was very sweet and very knowledgeable and since I had extra time because of a late flight back to Cairo, they booked extra activities for me to do to kill time

A fantastic day trip all my pick ups and drop offs were on time and my tour guide in Luxor was fantastic! One day is a bit short.

I highly recommend this tour if you have limited time. We enjoyed a comfortable flight and private tour to Luxor where we toured Karnak; Luxor; Valley of the Kings and Valley of the Queens; and Ramses III Temple. We also stopped at Memphis. It exceeded my expectations by far! We had enough time to cover everything we needed to see and our Guide, Ghada Khalaf was so very knowledgeable, and our driver Hamdy was Excellent. We hit all of the sites in reverse order so it wasn't as crowded and we got some spectacular pictures. Ghada was easy to work with and flexible as to where we wanted to take more time or not at the stops. Thank you, Ghada and Sun Pyramids for a wonderful Tour!

I took a two day trip from Cairo to Luxor, Abydos, and Dendera with my guide Samah and our amazing driver Abdul Rahman. Samah is very passionate about egyptology, and both were amazing to me the whole trip. Samah helped negotiate prices and always gave me time for photos and questions. Thank you Samah for making the tour the journey of a lifetime. I give her my highest recommendation. 10/10

The activity was AMAZING! Our guide Zakaria was the best. He would sense when we would get tired & would offer to alter our trip to allow for resting in air conditioned local shops. The locals were very welcoming. Sights were beautiful. Definitely recommend & ask for Zakaria!

Zaharia saad Ahmed was a great tour guide!! He was so knowledgeable! He let us go at our own pace and was always there to help when we needed him!! He was able to answer all of our questions and was really knowledgeable about all of the places we went to see. Hatshepsut’s temple and the tomb of Merenptah. He was a great photographer and friend. We will definitely use him again next time we are in Luxor!!!

This was a great experience. Thanks to Ghada Khalaf to make this moments unbelievable she his a great tourist guide. Thanks to Ghada we will love to comeback to Luxor. We want to thank the driver Mahmoud he was always on time.

Had an absolutely amazing experience with my tour of Luxor. We saw the Temples of Karnak, Luxor, Hatshepsut as well as the Valley of the Kings. Tour guide and driver were both AMAZING. Can’t recommend enough!

Had a great experience visiting the Valley of the Kings, Temple of Karmak, and Luxor Temple. Our guide, Mohamed Refaat, is very knowledgeable. It was a wonderful excursion and educational experience.

Mohammed and Makhmoud were wonderful. Mohammed was the tour guide and Makhmoud was the Driver. They have a great friendship, and I learned so much. It was a full day, and a great experience to see Queen Hatshepsut's temple, the Valley of the Kings, and the Karnak complex of temples. I felt enriched. They did a great job, and made me feel very welcome. Skip the shops... but spend time with them. They also selected a great lunch spot overlooking the Nile. Magical. Thank you to both of them! Mohammed and Makhmoud did a great job. I learned so much about Queen Hatshepsut's beautiful palace built into the mountain. They took me as well to the Valley of the Kings, where the tombs are incredible. A fun lunch spot overlooking the Nile made for a great break. You get up at 3AM in Cairo, to get picked up at 4AM. But my time was short, and it was so worth it to be able to see these spots. The next spot was El-Karnak, Luxor, the temple complex there. This is incredible.... It is clear the Mohammed has given this tour many times, and Makhmoud is also so sweet. There is friendship and affection between them... good friends. Skip the alabaster shop. The salesman is very hard sell. But Mohammed knows his history. His father was a specialist in history as well, and you will feel like he really knows his material. You just have to ask him to slow down! He speaks so fast, you better pay close attention!

Our guide Mohamed was amazing he attended to our needs and explained the history of Luxor such as temples with great detail. My mother and I had a great time and it was great to get a private tour well worth it

Our tour to Luxor was best organized from hotel pick up to return from the tour. Our guide, an expert Egyptologist with years of experience, was able to best advise us in choosing the tombs to visit in the Valley of the Kings and was exhaustive in visiting the other sites. I went to Egypt for 4 days with my family through Sun pyramids who organized a super tour (2 days in Cairo and 2 in Luxor). The agency took care of all the transfers, put us in contact with the guides, provided us with the SIM cards for the internet/cell and also organized last minute trips.
