Private Tour To Giza Pyramids, Sphinx And Grand Egyptian Museum

We recently had the pleasure of visiting the Pyramids, the Sphinx, the Papyrus Museum, and the National Museum, and it was a superb experience. our tour guide, Ahmed Abu Emirah, who was experienced Egyptologist and was outstanding, Ahmed shared his incredible depth of knowledge in the history, culture, and even made a video explaining who the greatest king in Egypt was just so my son could correct him and tell him Mo Salah is the greatest. Ahmed was also professional, friendly, and passionate about what he does. We truly appreciated his knowledge and enjoyed every part of the experience. Highly recommended! Was an excellent trip. Great value for money. Done the following: sail down nile, camel ride at pyramids (extra £15 each) for photos, visited sphinx, pyramids and then inside the great pyramid. Wow an unbelievable experience to see the kings chamber. Then a buffet lunch with Egyptian cuisine. Then 2h in the GEM. Was a private tour just for ourselves and driver Ahmed and guide also Ahmed were both excellent. The guide Ahmed Abu Emirah was very knowledgeable and took very good care of us. No one bothered us and the trip was very slick and well timed. A brilliant and unforgettable day out.

He made this experience truly unique by explaining everything about the history of Ancient Egypt in such an engaging and informative way. His knowledge and passion made our tour unforgettable. Our guide Amal was great! Amal told us parts of the story during the ride while the driver (Tarek) drove us safely to our destination. The vehicle had air conditioning and care was always taken to ensure that the temperature was right for us. Our guide has a lot of experience and she explained the history well during the tour of the museum and the pyramids. We had a wonderful time visiting the Giza Pyramids and the Egyptian museum with this tour! Our driver picked us up from the airport instead of the hotel (which you can ask for 30$ more), and showed us the city of Cairo as we were approaching the city center. Then our guide Jimmy joined us and led us to the Egyptian museum and the pyramids of Giza after that. Jimmy is a great guide and made our visit a living experience. He is very knowledgeable and his English is perfect, moreover the organization was flawless and they leaved us the free time and flexibility we wanted during the excursion. I highly recommend this tour!

This was my first time taking a solo tour and Aziza was AMAZING. She made me feel at ease, all while being extremely knowledgeable of all the sites. She’s also a bit of a celebrity around town, so that was cool to see everyone love to see her. 😂 She even squeezed in a camel ride I had had to cancel the day prior. If you come to Cairo, ask for Aziza!

Mina is a knowledgeable and passionate tour guide. He gave us a quick tour of the museum, took us for a great lunch and then we spent a couple of hours at the pyramids. We felt that the camel ride was a waste of money, but that’s not on Mina. We have learned that on an Egyptian tour you will be taken places that are not on the itinerary in order to try and sell you things, like perfume, spices, rugs, etc. We have learned to say no if we don’t want to go there.

The greatest guide and driver ever! Knowledgeable, friendly, funny—Jimmy & Ahmed couldn’t have treated us better. As it was a private tour, we skipped the Egypt Museum, opting for a carriage ride into the desert for a better pyramids view and stops to learn about glass blowing, ancient essential oils and papyrus making. Jimmy and Ahmed prevented us from being hassled by all those trying to sell us something plus they were delightful luncheon companions (included in the tour price). We take a lot of pictures, from different vantage points. Jimmy never rushed us and knew many spots to get the best photo. Private tour is the way to go—especially with these guys! The flexibility alone is worth the added expense.

We had a great time taking this tour and our guide Jimmy was really nice and friendly. My won had such a great time and he loved hanging out with Jimmy as he was so nice to him and my son claims that he became his best friend 😂. They showed up on time, the van was really comfortable, the tour was well organized, and the guide was very detailed. <p>This was my first visit to Cairo and with only on day I wanted to focus on the main historical sights. This tour was perfect for me. My guide Hosam Sam! was really good with extensive knowledge of Egyptian history. He was very flexible and adjusted to my preferences, ie what to see in the Egyptian Museum, skip lunch etc. Highly recommend Sam as the perfect choice for a guide if you are planning travel to Cairo.<br/> As to the tour itself it certainly met my expectations- the history is incredible. Only got a taste of the Egyptian Museum, need several days to do it justice!</p>

The trip with Amal and the driver Tarek was great! Communication in advance went smoothly,Amal has explained everything with a lot of dedication, has also given us enough time for self-exploration. We were additionally at a papyrus shop where the production was explained to us and ended up in a traditional perfume shop. And everything according to the motto, nothing has to be! Finally Tarek even drove us to a shawarma shop and then back to Airbnb. Definitely recommendable! We had a great day with Amal!
