The trip was well planned. We started early with the pyramids to avoid the rush hours and completed Saqqara and Memphis in the afternoon at a relaxed pace. The trip was made exceptional because of our Egyptologist, Mr Sherif. He is remarkably knowledgeable and was able to answer all our queries. He gave us enough time at each attraction- we did not feel rushed at all. His recommendations were great for meals and stops and many times, he went out of his way to help us. This trip was made memorable by Viator and Mr. Sherif! Highly recommend it!

My tour didn't include the pyramids but we had a great time at Memphis and Saqqara. Khalefa was really nice, he gave us very thorough explanations about everything we visited and he adapted the tour to our needs, since we were in a tight schedule to get to the airport afterwards. Overall, a great experience, very recommended!

Visited Sakkara on the last day of my tour. Loved the energy that Khalefa brought! Took care of us, gave us plenty of new knowledge regarding Egypt now and in the past, and even bought us lunch! Has a sense of humour too. Would highly recommend :)

I cannot recommend this tour enough! We had Ibrahim as our guide and not only was he extremely knowledgeable and passionate he was very sensitive to the needs of our group. We were taken to the sites early to avoid the crowds and his understanding of Egyptology was fascinating. He has many contacts who care for both locals and tourists. I did not get the impression that this was a tour to ‘fill the pockets’. If you want an honest guide who is passionate about his country and is welcoming of all people then this is for you. So much to see in so little time- but it’s worth it!

We were referred to Ibrahim's tour company through a friend, and I'm so glad we found his team! Our first tour with Egypt Tours Gate was in Cairo for the Giza Pyramids, Sakkara Pyramids, and Memphis with Khalid (aka "Elvis" - he's not afraid to sing!). It was a full day of sight-seeing, and we had a super clean and well-airconed van to ourselves for the day. Elvis' knowledge of the sites is second to none; if you can request him for your tour, definitely do! After a fantastic tour in Cairo, we traveled down to Luxor, where Ibrahim arranged a few tour components for us, including: Queen Hatshepsut's Temple, multiple stops in the Valley of the Kings (3 included tombs + 3 extras that we requested; Seti I is a must), and a sunrise hot air balloon tour over the valley. The hot air balloon ride was spectacular at that point in the day, and I would highly recommend everyone do it. It's worth getting up early for, I promise :) We then traveled (by car) to Aswan and stopped to visit the temples at Kom Ombo and Edfu. For both Luxor and the temples on the way to Aswan, we had a guide named Mamdouh who was also very knowledgable. The main advantage of booking with Egypt tours gate is that you can customize your itinerary (group vs. private tours, sites you want to skip/include), and you know that your guides are going to be trained professionals who *love* to share their knowledge of Egypt. In addition to all of the praise above, I just want to give a quick shoutout to Ibrahim who started this company right after COVID and has already grown it to be one of the most reputable tour providers in Egypt (for good reason!). We got to meet him over hookah at a cafe in Luxor, and he is genuinely the nicest human. Not to mention, he has the best restaurant recs for all of the places you may go in Egypt! We hope to be back and to use Egypt Tours Gate for the places we didn't get to see this time, like Siwa, Alexandria, and maybe Marsa Alam.

The tours were amazing and our tour guide was top notch! Ibrahim was so knowledgeable and took the time to explain the history of each place we visited! If you are looking for a tour guide Ibrahim is your person!! We had an all ladies group and we always felt safe and secure with him. Best Experience ever!!!

My Experience was fabulous start to finish!!! My girl group was so fortunate to have had a guide Ibrahim Mahdy Ibrahim with his background of being an Egyptologist made all the difference in the world being able to explain each and every excursion we went on as well as questions any of us had plus spoke English pretty perfect!! Ibrahim took us to some pretty amazing places probably most tours don’t go on. We were hosted by a private family for dinner in Aswan on the Nubian island Elephantine. Sweet family that made us so welcome and the best food!!! the boat ride over and back was dancing, laughing, a true event. Being a group of girls was very important to have Ibrahim with us he watched over us, protected us and just understood girls need lots of pee breaks lol!!! thank god for him!!!! The last day 10 hours before I left and last girl to go home he checked on me because he knew I didn’t feel well and ended up taking time away from his family to take me to the airport 🙏. Over the top red carpet treatment.

I was fortunate to have Ibrahim as my guide while in Egypt. . Ibrahim was extremely knowledgeable about Egypt. His explanations were easy to understand , interesting and filled with so many historical and cultural facts. He made the past come alive through his descriptions. . I had a 12 days tour in Egypt with a group of 11 people. Ibrahim has a master degree in Archaeology. He is extremely knowledgeable and he is unbelievable authentic with God gift of story telling of his beloved country. During the trip, Ibrahim led us visited many places. I visited the Pyramids of Giza, Alexandria, Aswan, Nile delta, Luxor and Memphis. From day one, Ibrahim made me and the group felt safe, cared and loved. I was immersed with every word Ibrahim delivered. Hee made me be part of the wonder of our human civilisation, the grand history of Egypt and making me becoming every pieces of the temples, sands and stones. Ibrahim made our soul travelled thousands years and thousands miles, feeling ultimate joy without time and space in Egypt. The pyramids are the most iconic of Egypts many sights, and there is no one better to show you round them than Ibrahim. With a degree in archaeology, Ibrahim helps you understand some of the stories of the people behind these amazing monuments and their culture and society that led to their construction. I personally loved visiting the step pyramid and Sakkara probably more than Giza and ultimately - you’ve come to Egypt to see pyramids, why not see the original!

My husband and I had a lovely experience thanks to Ibrahim. He has so much knowledge of Egyptian history and culture; he's actually an archaeologist and egyptologist, so he is truly an expert! He provided excellent service by making sure all the guests felt safe and were making the best of their time in Egypt. Ibrahim is an exceptional tour guide. He assured us right away that safety was a top priority in Egypt, and I felt incredibly safe the whole time we were there. Ibrahim's passion and knowledge of egyptology is unlike any other tour leader I have had before. He made the history come alive, and I appreciated the fine details like finding a shady spot to give us our debrief, or having a balance of time in the hot Egypt sun with time in the AC bus to give us our information. He made sure we were the first tour group at any site we went to see and we felt as though we had all of Egypt to ourselves. We felt very safe for our entire trip and I felt like it was entirely custom designed to what we wanted to see along side things that we never knew existed that we were so glad we got to see. I have so much trust in Egypttoursgate that I sent my parents in their 60’s back to do another custom designed tour.

My group certainly hit the jackpot when it came to being under the care of Ibrahim for our tour. From the moment our group met, we knew we were in incredibly safe and experienced hands...and that's when the storytelling began! This is been so far the best experience my husband and I have had from all of our travels around the world. This was a full day of fun and knowledge that Abrahim shared with us. Heba was our tour guide in Cairo in January 2020, and we had such an amazing experience! She was knowledgeable about history, while also being incredibly fun, and it felt like we were old friends within minutes of meeting. I learned a lot about modern Egyptian culture from her, in addition to ancient. She definitely knew the best spots to take photos too!

Visiting the Giza Pyramids had been on the bucket list of my husband and I for years and we were finally able to check it off the list! Being the first and only guests in the pyramid at the beginning of the day was an experience of a lifetime and the camel tour with the pyramids in background was out of this world! One of the biggest assets of this tour was Ibrahim-our guide. His historical knowledge, experience and genuine love for his country made this one of the best trips. We learned so much. We have completed many tours and treks internationally and my husband (who is often hard to please) ranks Ibrahim as the best guide we’ve ever had. We are planning a trip back to the Red Sea when travel restrictions lifted!

My friend and I had such an amazing time on our trip to Egypt in November 2020. Heba Amer was our tour guide and she took such incredible care of us our entire stay in Cairo and she even went above and beyond and met up with us in Luxor. We got to do everything from a tour of the Giza Pyramids including an incredible ATV and shisha experience to a hot air balloon ride in Luxor with great museums and history and amazing food in between. It was well organized and stress free and I felt completely safe the whole time. She is extremely knowledgeable about Egyptian history and more than anything, she has a beautiful and kind spirit and we enjoyed our time with her. We can’t wait to go back and experience more of Egypt with her and highly recommend her.

Where do I begin! Ibrahim was an absolute pleasure to be in contact with from the day of our inquiry all the way through til the end of our trip. He picked us up from the airport the day before our tour just to ensure a safe arrival for us two girls. We spent the next day doing a day tour of Cairo from Giza pyramids to the Egyptian museum. He has the best choices in places for food and was super knowledgable about everything. I couldn’t have felt more safe. We went our seperate ways in the middle of our travels as my friend and I wanted to explore Egypt without a tour guide (highly recommend to just go through him instead of doing it on your own). He still managed to check up on us everyday we were apart! He gave us tips and tricks to ensure we were seeing all the best sites and paying the best prices. We had to figure out our PCR testing to travel to our next destinations, and when the offices gave us trouble, he made a few phone calls and took care of it! Our main time spent together was to Siwa for a 3 day trip and who knew roadtripping with a tour guide can be so much fun! So many great memories, learned so much, saw so much and highly recommend Egypt tours gate to plan out your entire itinerary. I’ll definitely be returning back and recommending to all my friends!

I had the pleasure of visiting Egypt in early 2019 with the very capable and knowledgeable Ibrahim as our guide. It was truly a trip of a lifetime. As others have commented, Ibrahim’s love of his country and his vast knowledge of its fascinating history and culture provided the ingredients for a perfect visit. The antiquities are indescribable: beyond what might be imagined. We had quite the weather: sandstorms, rain, and cold! Nothing phased Ibrahim! He rearranged our itinerary with good humor and grace, so that we saw all that was planned and even more. I would highly recommend choosing Ibrahim as a guide in this beautiful and safe! country. It is my hope to one day return – Inshallah. In the meantime I will cherish my wonderful memories.

Ibrahim brought Egypt alive for us! He loves Egypt and loves to share his historical knowledge and make it come alive for his clients. He became our friend. We saw and experienced so much - from the modern architecture of the Alexandria Library to the ancient architecture of the Pyramids of Giza, the many temples in Aswan area and the Valley of the Kings - to name just a few. They flew to Egypt for the first time, from Biblioglobus, Russia airline. Without delays. Our company consisted of 4 girls, the hotel chosen was Xperience Sea Breeze Resort 5*. It takes 10-15 minutes to get from the airport. We were greeted warmly at the hotel, the rooms were booked as standard, we kindly asked for a sea view, paid an extra 10 dollars for the room and got what we wanted, two rooms next to each other, with an inter-room door, which was very convenient for us. In the morning, everyone was happy, admiring the wonderful views of the Red Sea from the balcony. The food at the hotel is varied, fresh, and delicious. Meat, seafood, chicken, fish, fruits, vegetables, superb pastries, white, red, rosé wine, beer, various cocktails, all of excellent quality. The sea is a fairy-tale blue color. Fish of all colors of the rainbow. The beach is clean, the pontoon for diving is convenient. The territory is small, but everything is arranged competently. In the evenings, we used the hotel bus service and went for walks to Soho Square, Nama Bay. In the evenings, guests are entertained with animation, and during the day there are also various shows in the large pool. The weather in early September was pleasing with hot sun and a warm breeze. The impressions from the vacation were only positive, we recommend the hotel for a quiet vacation. Yes, and our Alenka chocolate works wonders) everyone smiles and rejoices at the sight of this cute bar of milk chocolate))) Result: Egypt did not disappoint, the hotel was to my liking, if we fly again, we will take excursions. This time there were only 6 days, we rested and enjoyed the sea, the sun, and just lazed around. Happy travels and good mood to everyone!

We stayed two full days with our guide Yasser (for Felice friends) and got to visit all the main monuments. Yasser was very helpful and participatory. He understood our needs as we were traveling with 4 children from 7 to 10 years. It allowed us to delve deeper into the topics that interested us most and be more resolute about those that interested us least. Definitely a very prepared guide. It allowed us to immerse ourselves in the atmosphere and civilization of ancient Egypt in just two days. It was also very kind to offer us all the amenities they needed (juices, water...) as well as recommending places to eat. Agency recommended and even more recommended guide. Very well also transport with their comfortable and air-conditioned van (essential). Great Yasser the last Pharaoh!!
