Our guided visit to the GEM was absolutely the most wonderful experience of my life, primarily because we were escorted by Mohammed (Mimo), who is an fantastic guide, thoroughly knowledgeable about ancient Egypt and its vast amount of artifacts in all of the museums in Cairo and surrounding archeological sites. I highly recommend him and his services. He has a heart of gold and puts every effort into not only answering my specific technical questions enthusiastically, but also goes far beyond what a tourist expects. My visit to the Grand Egyptian Museum was something I had to do in my lifetime, and I would always seek his exemplary services as my tour guide to Egypt. The vast collection displayed in the GEM is unmatched in the world, offering visitors a comprehensive understanding of the ancient Egyptian civilization in world history. I virtually loved every minute of my visit, seeing thousands of artifacts that I had previously seen only in photos throughout my life. Having Mimo at my side further enhanced my enjoyment because he consistently sought to take me to historical objects that I was unaware of, providing me with extensive historical background not generally known to amateur historians like myself. My visit to the GEM was truly wonderful and was further enriched by our guide Mimo, who was very precious guide.

This tour with Mohamed is a must for everyone. It was educational as well as interesting. We thoroughly enjoyed all the sites we visited and the knowledge that Mohamed shared with us. He also took us to a local 'coffee' shop, where I had the most delicious mango juice. It topped off a great day.

Mohamed was smart about getting to the museum first thing in the morning and for the first hour or so we could really explore the museum without the crowds. It was special. He knows exactly where to take pictures at the Pyramids of Giza so it was a time saver. Another wonderful day well spent.

The Grand Egyptian Museum is HUGE! Our family is so grateful to Mohamed for guiding us through the museum, sharing helpful context and interesting stories behind the items and displays, pointing out some of the "off the beaten path" stops and allowing us plenty of free time to explore the items we wanted to revisit. There is no way we could have done this on our own, and we already knew a lot about Egyptian history. Mohamed made our tour both enjoyable and meaningful for us all. The GEM is an amazing, must-see museum, but it has to be done the right way. Our family will always remember our tour with Mohamed. We had a fantastic day with Mimo (Mohamed) visiting the Grand Egyptian Museum and the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization. Mimo was brilliant. He has a huge amount of knowledge but, more importantly, knows how to explain things without making it feel like a history lecture. We were travelling with our two boys, aged 10 and 13, and he kept all four of us interested throughout the day, answered endless questions, and was great company. Having him with us made a massive difference at both museums. Rather than just looking at thousands of objects, we actually understood the stories behind what we were seeing and how everything fitted together. We spent two days with Mimo in Cairo and genuinely enjoyed his company. Friendly, kind, knowledgeable and very easy to spend a day with. Highly recommended.

We had a great tour of Aswan, the Nile River, Cairo and Alexandria. The Grand Egyptian Museum was amazing with Tutankhamen's treasures. Going to the Valley of the Kings and Queens just opened your mind to question what can still be hidden here. We requested an Egyptian cooking class with Bellies En-Route and together prepared and cooked a wonderful meal. Memo was a great guide in Cairo and Alexandria. While Mina showed us Abu Simbel, the temple of Queen Hatshepsut and much more.

The tour to GEM & the Great Pyramids was well worthwhile. Khaled is a very friendly, knowledgeable guide who was able to use storytelling to bring history to life. It made the massive sites much more digestible and I would recommend him to anyone!

Mimo was absolutely wonderful!!!! he met us at the hotel and took us to the gym and slowly took his time giving us all of the details and leaving usour own time to walk around and take in the museum without rushing. Then he took us for a coffee at a local coffee shop, a local papyrus shop, and lunch at a rooftop restaurant overlooking the pyramids. Then he took us to the pyramids of Giza, where heexplained all of the history as well as a fun camel ride with fantastic pictures. He arranged a special photographer at the sphinx for us to get some fantastic pictures that will surely end up as some holiday cards for us! At the end of the day, memo delivered us back to our hotel after a wonderful and full day of memorable sightseeing. He and his driver were wonderful and we could not recommend him higher to you!

Fantastic ture with our guide/Egyptologist Doaa. She is one of the best guide I ever been in a ture with, we see everything we would like to see Pyramides, sphinx and GEM. Tutankhamen collection in the GEM is outstanding. I’ am sure that I will come back to see Cairo again.
