We had an amazing day on our private tour of El Fayoum Oasis and Wadi El Rayan Waterfalls from Cairo! 🌴🌊 Our tour guide, Iman Maklad, was absolutely wonderful! She was amazing, friendly, kind, and very helpful throughout the entire trip. Our driver, Yosef, was also very nice, professional, and an excellent driver. We felt safe and comfortable throughout the journey. It was a fantastic experience from beginning to end, and we truly enjoyed every moment! Thank you, Iman and Yosef, for making our day so special. We will definitely come back again soon!

We had a great trip to the beautiful fayoum area, specially as we had the pleasure of being accompanied by our professional tour guide mary which provided us with many historical information and details as well as our joyful and helpful driver yassir. They made our trip special and unforgettable.

We did the El Fayoum tour with the tour guide Omar , we had an amazing exeperience , he was very knowledgeable , enjoyable person and he made sure we were having a good time. The time in the desert and the Oasis was amazing with great views and also fun , the lunch was very good. The driver Ahmed was very skillfull , punctual and kind . We did all that was mentioned. Our driver and guide were excellent. I really did not know what to expect and it was very interesting to see and hear about the lakes in the middle of the desert, the formation of Tunis village and making of pottery. The paper, perfume, and spice presentations were not demonstrations or information on history (well maybe 2 minutes- google gave more info on the topics) they were a heavy sales pitch where we ended up buying things we did not want because we felt such pressure.

You need to wear good walking shoes. A reasonable climb required at one stop Beautiful views and lovely lunch

All sights and landscapes are breathtaking. I recommend also the Jeep tour in the dunes (extra) which is very folkloric and the magic lake vision is an awaken dream!!! The 2 Essam (guide+driver) even set up a surprise present for our daughter’s birthday; they went surprisingly buy a big birthday cake with her name on it for after the lunch. I almost cried. The landscapes were breathtaking, and the service was outstanding — both our guide (Rania you are the jest) and our driver were fantastic. We were travelling with children, and they were never a problem for anyone. They added an extra touch of fun and made the trip even more enjoyable! The day was perfectly planned, combining stunning scenery and spectacular views with exciting activities on the water and in the sand. This was an excellent way to see the Eygptian countryside . Our tour guide,Omar was knowledgeable and gave us a good understanding of Eygptian history and culture. The driver Ahmed was pleasant and a good driver. They were both a pleasure to be travel with. I highly recommend this experience.

After two weeks of traveling and 4 busy days in Downtown Cairo, we were completely exhausted. Our day trip to Fayoum gave us the most amazing, peaceful break away from all the hustle. Huge thanks to Iman, who took such great care of us - we could just sit back and totally relax without worrying about a thing. We had such a brilliant time together, and even managed to squeeze in a detour to Wadi Al-Hitan and a desert safari! I honestly can’t thank Iman enough. She’s so wonderful, professional, and always five steps ahead with little details we wouldn't have even thought of. Absolutely seamless day from start to finish!

Ik was a lovely tour. I went with my brother and we had so much fun. The national park was beautiful. The tour gide and the driver where so friendly to us. Because it was a private tour we could make laste minute changes to the tour to meet are preferences. Mary and Achmed thank you very much. 10/10 recommend!

Definitely one of the highlights of my time in Egypt! From the smooth hotel pick-up and drop-off to the spectacular scenery throughout the day, everything was realy well organised and great value for money. A special thank you to Iman, who was a wonderful guide. She was knowledgeable, warm, and so easy to talk to without ever feeling scripted or forced. She never rushed me but encouraged me to stay longer and take it all in whenever she noticed I was particularly enjoying a place. The desert landscapes were mesmerising, and rowing on Fayoum Lake was a wonderful experience. The views throughout the day were spectacular. It's surreal to see so much water, and even waterfalls, in the middle of the desert. As a snowboarder and surfer, sandboarding was a personal highlight. One thing I'm a bit more undecided about in terms of value is the optional $60 4x4 jeep ride through the dunes to the Magic Lake. I'm not much of a car enthusiast, so the ride itself wasn't the main attraction for me (but I'm sure would be for others!). That said, swimming in the lake surrounded by dunes was genuinely magical and one of the most unique experiences of the trip. If you're planning to do this part, I'd recommend bringing a swimsuit, although going in your underwear is also possible. Thank you again so much, Iman, for such an amazing and memorable day! :-)

The guide had poor Spanish Language and sometimes it was difficult to understand. They tried to make me pay for the food when it was included with the tour. The place is nice and beautiful to visit other Egypt face.

I really liked it , a beautiful experience with safari and a beautiful lake . Ms Rania so sweet and nice just like our driver !! We talked about everything and she explained everything really well . It was really worth it !

What an experience. We booked last minute for the following day. From that point on, communication was seamless. We were due to check out of our hotel at 11 and asked if we could bring our bags to avoid storing them which they kindly accommodated. They also proactively offered to take us straight to the airport after the tour which significantly improved logistics for us. Every stop was incredible, and when we expressed interest in visiting Wadi Al-Hitan, Iman, our guide, quickly arranged everything and within minutes, we were in a 4x4, on our way. She had a wealth of knowledge which she shared with us every step of the way. This tour was amazing value for money. We saw beautiful desert, learnt about whales from 40 million years ago, saw a waterfall, took a boat ride, sandboarded and visited the pottery village. We also had a lovely lunch and made a pit stop for sugar cane juice. Highly recommend this tour and Iman to anyone travelling in Egypt. Would absolutely reach out again next time we're in Egypt to try out the other offerings. 10 out of 10, would do again. Shout out to our driver, Mohamed, too! Cannot recommend

We had an excellent day! Our driver, Ahmed, and our guide, Amr, were both very kind, attentive, and helpful throughout the entire excursion. The tour is very complete and is a great option if you want to experience something different from Cairo, such as the desert. The lunch was delicious and very generous. We had a lot of fun and really enjoyed the whole experience. Highly recommended!

Booked this as our more adventurous day for our honeymoon! I enjoyed getting to see the desert. Sandboarding is so much fun going down but very much NOT fun climbing back up the steep hot sand dune and I scrapped up my wrist & ankle pretty bad on the first slide down. We also paid extra to do the 4x4 dune ride through the desert. It was an expensive add on of $50 for two and wasn’t as fast or crazy a ride as I was expecting but it was a far more interesting way to get around between locations with a couple cool moments. Our guide Essam told us info about each of the places we visited and took photos and videos for us. Unfortunately my husband and I seem to both have caught a cold on our flight over so neither of us were feeling very well and we ended the tour early so we missed the boat ride and pottery town but I appreciated Essam understanding and taking us back early.

At first, I thought I would be joining a group, but it turned out to be a private tour! Loved it! I had such a great day in Al Fayyum with Iman and Ahmed. They were such super lovely, kind, warm-hearted and easy-going people. I felt comfortable with them from the very beginning, and they made the whole day feel relaxed and enjoyable. They were always looking out for me and really cared about my comfort, safety and overall experience. They were super attentive, helpful and genuinely friendly. They wanted me to have the best possible experience. It was so sweet and cute of Iman to take so many photos of me throughout the day. That was such a lovely little detail :) Al Fayum itself is absolutely beautiful and definitely a place you have to see when you’re in Egypt. The views are amazing, people are lovely, and the whole area has such a special atmosphere. I also booked the extra safari to Magic Lake, which I would definitely recommend to everyone! It was such a fun experience and definitely worth adding to the tour. I would do this at the very end, after sandboarding etc so you can jump into the water and go for a swim afterwards :D The safari is not included in the tour price, so if you’d like to do it, just let your tour guide know in advance :) The only thing I didn’t really like was that we couldn’t stay longer on the Felucca. I would have really enjoyed spending more time on the boat and just relaxing there. We had to leave because the safari driver was waiting for us. I understand that I booked the safari spontaneously, but I still think this could have been planned a little better so we could enjoy the Felucca for a bit longer…It’s not something you get to experience every day, so I would have preferred to have more time there! I would honestly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Egypt. Even though I’ve done this tour before, I would definitely do it again on my next trip :D You can never get enough of Al Fayyum…

Omar our tour guide and Abdo our driver were great. We hade a good experience and spend a nice day away from Cairo seeing Egypts only waterfalls and activities that came with it.

The experience was amazing, we had to leave early in the morning but it's OKay because the ride to the desert is 2 hours so you can just sleep in the car. When we arrived we climbed the Mountain, saw waterfalls, sailed on a boat, went sandboarding. And what I liked most was the fact that everything was calm, we took our time and had a steady pace; when we wanted to leave after taking pictures or the activities it was no problem. Our tour guide Ranya was also amazing, telling us the history and information at certain points. 10/10 recommended!

Thanks to very nice guide Iman Maklad and excellent driver Ahmed Ramses we spent a great and unforgettable experience in El Fayoum Oasis and its soroundings. We highly appreciate effort of our guide Iman who shows us and tell us about rich history of Egypt and represent life and work of people in that area. We felt warm welcome every where. Spacially we enjoyed on the tour with the boat on the lake and on sand boarding. Also local snacks and lunch with local fisch in the famous hotel were delicious. We highly recommended this trip with great guide Iman and reliable driver Ahmed to every one.

It was a very pleasant experience, very kind guide Iman, and a comfortable clean car with a nice driver Ahmed. Climbing the desert mountain, brat and sand boarding was a very good experience. Perhaps we expected too much from the waterfalls and Tunis village, that is why 4 starš not 5. And yes, we ate a very good fish in a local restaurant. Overall, a trip I would definitely rečem menda.

Totally not worth it. Better to book a tour that includes the whale valley or only a private driver with no guide (50 USDollars for a whole day, just give him the trip's schedule). You only see some ruins of an old city for 3 seconds from the road driving by. During the next stop, you are asked to purchase a 45-minutes-rolling-on-the-sand jeep tour to a magic lake for 50 US Dollars (the lake is only magical during sunrise and sunset; and you can actually walk there!); otherwise, you only get a view of some rock formation, then - on the next stop - there is a manmade waterfall to look at and for 20 minutes you are sitting on a non-moving boat on a small lake ( seagulls feeding). At last, you will be taken to a small pottery shop where you can buy some handmade pottery (be aware that there is a real pottery school in the village, but the guide is not getting any money from your purchases, so you will not be taking there). I had a money-grabbing guide with me who was treating me as a cash machine. I was expected to tip, purchase drinks, and products - which were 2-10 times the normal value.

The tour is nice. Everything goes smoothly. I enjoy the activities in the tour. I also really like the food, big portion and delicious. Mohamed is a really friendly and helpful tour guide.

Worth the money! Omar is very good! He helped us so much going up and down the hills/mountains. It was very hot but he was so patient with us! You need to get him as your tour guide and you will be very please and enjoy the tour and gain unforgettable memories of Egypt! Even senior citizen like me did it!

Omar is a great tour guide! Excellent in communication skills and very easy to talk to. I was with my Aunts, both senior citizens. Omar took time to assist them and never rushed them into anything, especially aiding them up and down the mountain climb. He also takes great photos and very good in dealing with the locals. He speaks very kindly, very considerate and made sure the day is all about us, that we have a great experience with the tour and unforgettable memories of Egypt. It was scorching hot and he even said that’s the hottest he’s been out tour-guiding but he never once complained and still kept being helpful and informative. He and Karim, the driver, were very fun to be with and in fact joined us sand boarding and boat riding! The most special for me is the visit to the pottery where he shower us the kids making the pots, I bought one for my collection, it is beautiful and special bc the kids made them. Unforgettable experience. Get Omar as your tour guide and Karim as the driver, they’re fun and funny too! Kudos!

Iman is a wonderful host. She is kind, knowledgeable and patient. She knows the area and locals very well. The tour is a great value for the money. We highly recommend booking the extra 4x4 ride and Magic Lake swim. Even the lunch was beyond expectations. The tour is actually private, which was a delightful surprise to us.
