EMO Tours booked from Cairo Airport to Kempinski Nile Hotel for 11th Feb2025 Was travelling with elderly parents and one parent dependent on a walking stick. Needed to get to Hotel in order to take medication on time. We were waiting outside the airport at the meeting point but the Driver Mohammed Hamid did not bother to turn up! We called him to ask where he was and he said he had family stuff to sort out and will be 1 hour late! With my frail parents we could not wait any longer. We approached a security personnel and asked for his help. There was a taxi driver waiting for odd jobs and his car was half damaged from one side. The driver himself looked like a bond villain. However, the security staff confirmed that this driver was a regular driver and that we would be OK. We took a photo together with the driver and the car showing the registration number in case anything went wrong. He finally got us to our hotel and even the hotel staff were shocked at the vehicle we arrived in. Do not bother booking a taxi pick up with Emo Tours.

Taxi to the airport booked for 08:00 hours, waited for the driver at main hotel gate, nobody came, tried to contact tour operator by phone (number not in service) and WhatsApp (no answer). At 08:20 found out driver waiting at side entrance. At 11:00 question came from tour operator whether I was with the driver. This is a joke. Do not recommend you book transfer with this operator.

They never showed up to pick us up for the airport. Horrible. Thank god for Uber (it’s cheaper/$2.00 USD)

Well, it turned out fine, but it was a bit unsettling, since the driver brought a friend along with him. I'm traveling alone, so having to get into a vehicle with one man is one thing, but with two men is something else. Also, the driver missed the proper exit for the airport, so I guess he had to pay twice to get to the airport. Then, both of them expected a tip. The driver was great even if he was a few minutes late, however I am removing a star because the operations team behind is very unresponsive. They didn't send us any information about pickup time validation, or the driver, even if we reached out via both Viator/WhatsApp the day before.

I booked Emo tours for a shuttle from my hotel in downtown Cairo to the airport. Everything went well, I also reached them by Whatsapp the day before to change the pickup time by 30 minutes and they accommodated me. The driver was polite, the car was clean and nee, I would book with them again.

After waiting over half an hour past the scheduled pick up time, we had to have a hotel employee get us an Uber so we could be in time for an international flight departure.

We ordered a pickup time from our hotel in Cairo to airport at 2200 pm but the pick up was late . The driver did not show up til 2240 pm. Good thing that we scheduled the pick up 4 hrs before the international flight. Luckily my tour guide called them to make sure they pick me up as he saw me waiting outside the hotel .

More reliable than Uber. Emo tours has been a VERY positive aspect of customer service in Egypt. Other than the antiquities, we enjoyed little of Egypt due to constant sexual harrassment ( even from Senior Tourism Police in Luxor and who then grabbed me and tried to kiss me twice on the lips as his junior officers filmed and laughed). I am almost 60, blond hair, blue eyes, dress conservatively. If you want to give Egypt a go, Emo is a good company. I would, however, just give Egypt a skip. Women should NOT do it alone. It is NOT a safe country for solo women. We traveled in a group almost 3 weeks with multiple inappropriate touching, comments, propositions, intimidation. Traveled to 61 countries, including Africa and the Middle East. Egypt was the worst in terms of treatment of women.
