No show. No call.The phone number didn’t work. There was no prior communication or confirmation. No answer. Try someone else

We were never picked up exiting the airport. There is only one place everyone exits and we waited 40 minutes. No one was there with a sign with our name on it. We tried to call the number on our reservation but it only went to voicemail. They said they were there but how could they have been there. They should have given us a good contact ahead and verified exactly where to pick up - inside, outside, across the first lane of traffic etc. We have never been to Egypt before so our phone didn’t work at first but tried calling with another person’s phone. Poor communication.

We were extremely disappointed with this private transfer from Cairo airport. Despite notifying them 7 days in advance about a flight change and following up multiple times on WhatsApp, we only got a response right before our flight. The last-minute driver arrived very late, we waited 20 minutes, and the car was dirty and in terrible condition. The trunk was already full of the driver’s personal belongings, so our luggage barely fit. Overall, the service was unprofessional and stressful and definitely not what we expected.

A guide was friendly initially, however, he started sales of tours and once I said I was not interested in, his attitude became extremely rude. I will not recommend this.

The guide and driver were great. The only reason this is a 4 vs 5 star us that when we arrived we had difficulty finding who h took help from others and took about 20 minutes. I suggest always having a sign as that is what we had expected.

Emo Tours was great! We had a slight delay due to customs, and they waited patiently. Would book again!

The driver met me outside of baggage claim/customs. He was professional, and knowledgeable about the city of Cairo.

The positive is that a representative did greet us exactly where he said he would be and took us to the vehicle. Unfortunately, it felt like a bait and switch because I booked this particular company based off of the large vehicle in the image. I booked for three adults with luggage and unfortunately, a very small vehicle arrived. What was worse is that the driver and the guy who met us sat in the front and the three adults I booked the ride for we were forced to cram together in the back. This was a really small vehicle and three adults did not fit comfortably in the back. I was really disappointed and frustrated, especially after traveling for 20 hours to Egypt only be shoved in a tiny cramped vehicle. I don’t recommend this company because you never know what kind of vehicle is gonna show up.

We were met by a guide after a quick call to let them know where we were. The guide was friendly and spoke English. The driver was also friendly. If you are expecting a well marked car or van, be aware that you will be picked up by someone in their own car. Maybe I missed the dropdown that specifies the car. Regardless, we made it safely to our hotel.

Could not find the driver. Many in the airport building with signs but not this guy He txt me when I was in my hotel after getting a taxi

Arrived at the airport and waited over 45 minutes - sent texts and called and could not connect. They reached out an hour later and we already found a ride - would never use again.

No one was there to meet us could not reach them phone. No one answered, and no one picked up messages.

When we get out of the airport, the guide/driver were waiting with our name on it. During the trip they were excellent and provided lots of information. Price was very affordable. Removing 1 star because the company never reached out to us via WhatsApp/Viator before when we wanted to confirm everything, so we had no idea if they would show up. Also the car had a lot of things in the trunk so it took a while and a lot of force to get our 2 bags to fit.

My flight was almost 1 hour late. After I cleared customs, I looked inside and outside the airport for my name and could not spot a sign. Luckily, an airport “greeter” jumped in and got connected to WiFi and called Emo Tours to sort it out. The guide and driver were there, had been waiting and once it was sorted, they got me into Cairo in record time.

Our driver and guide were right on time to pick us up, found us at the airport and took us safely to our hotel, explaining some things along the way and stopping to get us cold drinks. After a long international flight, it was an incredible relief to be met at the airport. I cannot recommend this highly enough.

We got a ride from the airport to Conrad Cairo hotel. The traffic was bumper to bumper but they navigated efficiently. They were also polite and helpful. This is was worth the price.

Do not use this company for an airport transfer. I booked a number of trips recently through Trip Advisor, this being one of them. This is the only one who did not show. Waited for half an hour, tried calling them, all without avail. After wandering around the arrivals area I decided to take a cab to the hotel. I then received a WhatsApp 45 minutes later with them holding a sign with my name on it. Could have been taken at anytime. Extremely bad communication and terrible service.

A very smooth journey, driver was waiting outside the terminal. Was bit confused in the beginning but the customer service center answered the call straight away and helped me located the driver very quickly. Very professional service

Very nice experience. The pickup person gives us all information before our flight and keeps tracking us with proper communication app after we landed. He sent a picture showing his position so we were very easy to meet him.

These guys were great. It was our first trip to Egypt and we just did not know what to expect. The driver and his companion were very patient with us. Our flight was late getting in but they were very easy to find and it was the first of many great experiences on our trip.

It’s strange that I just finished giving a 5 star review for an Emo Tour in Luxor, but I can’t for this one. I booked an airport ride from Cairo Airport to our hotel. I thought it would be easier after flying for 15 hours with no sleep. I messaged the company the day before to ensure that we were still on and made sure that I gave my WhatsApp number, assuming it would be given to the driver so that we could coordinate once the plane landed. If you haven’t been to Cairo Airport before - it is a complete madhouse with thousands of people. It took awhile to get through customs, and of course my luggage was literally the last bag off the plane. I attempted to contact the number I had talked to the company on the day before as it was the only number I had. No one answered my texts or phone calls (it was evening time). The next day they told me that the driver was there waiting for me. Maybe he was, but I never found him, he never attempted to contact me to tell me exactly where he was (hard to find a guy with a little sign in a sea of people with the vague description “I am outside the terminal”). Or maybe he left as it took awhile to get through customs and baggage claim. I tried contacting them the next day and they essentially said “We don’t do WhatApp” which is something that it would have been nice to know the day before when I was conversing with them on WhatsApp. Anyway, it looks like I’m eating that money. It’s actually not worth it anyway. When you walk out of the terminal there are hundreds of taxis, and they all charge the same thing - $20 USD (taxis in Egypt really prefer USD, just a heads up). The cab driver who brought us to our hotel was super nice and he got me out of the crabby mood I was in for being sleep deprived and stood up.

I was in a group of three women. I was sent a confirmation before departure. As soon as I touched down and turned my phone on, I had WhatApp messages saying that our representative, Marwan, was waiting for us outside the terminal, and then sent a photo. As soon as we walked out, we saw him. He helped tote as much of our luggage as he could and walked us to our waiting shuttle van. Marwan was very friendly and knowledgeable. He told us all about Ciaro traffic and some of his favorite food options. Our driver was also very nice and helpful. Would definitely recommend EMO Tours for airport pick up.

The driver was great. He took care to get us safely to our hotel from the airport. We had to call the company because there was no one waiting for us when we exited the airport. Someone showed up about 5 minutes later and walked us directly to our car.

We were picked up right outside terminal 3. However while he was right there, he didn't have our name board. Hence until he showed us our booking, we kept looking for our pickup. After we connected, it was smooth. Suggestions: 1. Please have the name card of the passenger displayed at the entrance. 2. Have the person wear the company logo - make it easy to spot. 3. Please share contact number of the person picking up ahead of time.

Driver was timely and courteous in my pickup. Highly recommend this for others especially with the craziness of Cairo airport

I had a greeter and a driver and both young guys were friendly and they somehow navigated the chaos of Cairo Arrivals without a hitch! Best value for a solo first timer in Egypt, you definitely dont want to be trying to negotiate a taxi after a long flight. Got a good intro to local music hits as we drove along. Good service and good value.

Sabra (EMO Travel) is a patient, knowledgeable, customer service oriented travel guide. He was waiting at the airport (with sign) even though we had a late arrival. Courteous professional who speaks fluent English. Vehicle was clean and smoke-free. Sabra & Ahmed (driver) were awesome and made our arrival to Cairo smooth with travel to hotel safe/timely. Definitely recommend Sabra and EMO travel.

Even though there was a small issue with the transport size our guide made it work. He even put one of the bags on his lap and bought us coffee for the inconvenience. Very impressed by the history given on our ride to the hotel.

Our guide Aladdin and Bashmil the driver were both amazing. So professional and felt safe the entire time. We were picked up at the airport and brought to our hotel while Aladdin told us some Egyptian history along the way. The car had AC which is a perk in the Egyptian heat! We liked them so much we booked a different tour with them a few days later.

Excellent transfer service from Cairo airport to downtown hotel. Great communication on the day of our flight advising us where to meet our driver upon arrival. Sabra was waiting for us with a Clear sign when we exited the terminal, and he was extremely friendly and helpful - the perfect first point of contact in Cairo. The drive itself was very comfortable, and we felt safe the entire time. We enjoyed Sabra’s sense of humour as he introduced us to some Egyptian music on the drive into town. We arrived at our hotel feeling refreshed and relaxed. Thank you Sabra!

We were pleasantly surprised by Emo tours and our airport pick up transfer. We read lots of horror stories and reviews of various transfer services and the drivers not showing up and travellers having to hail taxis and experiencing a very stressful arrival inti Cairo airport. We were expecting the worse and our experience was far from it. The driver and the rep showed up early which was great cause our flight was an hour earlier than our pick up time. They had been tracking our flight number. Have clear instructions were they were which again was super simple. The English speaking rep waited with us for the driver. They helped with luggage. The drive was no where near as scary as we had been warned. The rep shared many great places to see and excursions they offered. There was absolutely no pressure they just send us links. By chance we had booked a tour before arriving with the same organisation and hadn’t realised until today on our tour from the name. We are two girls travelling and we felt safe and secure and that was our priority. I highly recommend.
