My family and I took the private tour and we loved our tour guide Sara. She was patient and made history fun for the kids. We visited the three pyramids the panoramic view and the Sphinx. The camel ride was a highlight for everyone. The Egyptian lunch was tasty and filling. The private van was spacious and our driver Hussein was friendly. The tour lasted about half a day and was educational and enjoyable. The atmosphere was family friendly. The staff were great with children and the guide was engaging. Best for families who want a personal and fun tour. Thanks to Mego Tours for a wonderful day.

The Giza Pyramids are one of the most iconic and awe-inspiring archaeological sites in the world, located on the Giza Plateau near Cairo, Egypt. The complex consists of three main pyramids, built during Egypt's Fourth Dynasty (circa 2600–2500 BC), along with several smaller "queen" pyramids, temples, and the Great Sphinx. 1. The Great Pyramid of Khufu (Cheops) Largest and oldest Originally 146.6 meters tall Over 2 million limestone blocks used Considered a masterpiece of ancient engineering 2. The Pyramid of Khafre (Chephren) Slightly smaller but appears taller due to higher ground Still has some casing stones at the top Associated with the Great Sphinx, thought to bear Khafre’s likeness 3. The Pyramid of Menkaure Smallest one Stands about 65 meters high Known for its more complex internal chamber The Great Sphinx: A massive limestone statue with a lion's body and a pharaoh's head, likely representing Khafre Each pyramid was connected to mortuary and valley temples via causeways
The Great Pyramid of Giza, also known as the Pyramid of Khufu or the Pyramid of Cheops, is the largest and oldest of the three pyramids on the Giza Plateau in Egypt. It's the only one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World still standing. Built during: Around 2580–2560 BC (Fourth Dynasty of the Old Kingdom of Egypt) Height: Originally about 146.6 meters (481 feet), now about 138.8 meters (455 feet) due Made from over 2 million limestone blocks, some weighing as much as 80 tons
The Pyramid of Khafre (also spelled Chephren) is the second largest of the three pyramids at Giza and is easily recognized because it still retains some of its original smooth casing stones at the very top. Built by: Pharaoh Khafre (son of Khufu), who ruled during the 4th Dynasty of Egypt's Old Kingdom Date: Around 2558–2532 BC Height: Originally 143.5 meters (471 feet), now about 136.4 meters (448 feet) Location: Appears taller than Khufu’s pyramid because it stands on higher ground, but it is actually slightly smaller Complex: Includes the Valley Temple, a mortuary temple, and the famous Great Sphinx, which is believed to represent Khafre himself
The Pyramid of Menkaure is the smallest of the three main pyramids at Giza but still an impressive feat of ancient engineering. Pharaoh: Menkaure (son of Khafre, grandson of Khufu) Dynasty: 4th Dynasty of the Old Kingdom Date: Built around 2510 BC height: About 65.5 meters (215 feet)
Standing on the Giza Plateau, the panoramic view stretches across the golden desert sands under a bright, wide Egyptian sky. From left to right: The Pyramid of Menkaure appears first, smallest in size but sharply defined, with its base wrapped in reddish granite. Next is the Pyramid of Khafre, seemingly taller due to its elevated position, with a noticeable cap of smooth casing stones at the top. At its base sits the iconic Great Sphinx, silently guarding the plateau with a lion’s body and a human face. Furthest right stands the mighty Great Pyramid of Khufu, the largest and most imposing, with its massive blocks and slightly rougher exterior from centuries of weathering.
The Great Sphinx of Giza is one of the most mysterious and iconic monuments in the world, standing guard near the pyramids on the Giza Plateau. Appearance: A limestone statue with the body of a lion and the head of a human, thought to represent Pharaoh Khafre Length: About 73 meters (240 feet) Height: Around 20 meters (66 feet) Age: Estimated to have been built around 2500 BC, during the reign of Khafre Then you will visit The Valley Temple of Khafre is one of the best-preserved ancient temples in Egypt and an important part of Khafre’s pyramid complex on the Giza Plateau. Purpose: Used for mummification rituals and the purification of the pharaoh’s body before burial Functioned as a key part of the funerary procession, receiving the body from the Nile and preparing it for burial in the pyramid

We were given an incredible and extensive tour of The Giza plateau, The Grand Egyptian Museum, Memphis, and surrounding Pyramids by Abrahim, he covered in incredible detail various aspects of ancient Egypt, Religion, Society, art, Architecture/Engineering, Monarchs. He was able to answer all of our questions offering a huge amount of knowledge for us - He allowed us lots of freedom, offered to take hundreds of pictures of us, arranged lunches at delicious restaurants, took us to some wonderful places in between; handmade Arabic carpet school, and traditional papyrus shop, I would recommend him to any keen tourist interested in the vast history of Egypt from its roots to present day - Abrahim, was clever, sociable, talkative, funny, and gave me an experience I’ll never forget.
My guide, Abrahim, has been the same guide to show me and my family around all the Pyramids and the Grand Egyptian Museum and did excellently, as well. He is really knowledgeable about all Ancient Egyptian history and very friendly too.
Really good experience and explanation of the Giza. Lots of information and knowledge. Our guide Abrahim is very friendly and helpful to all members of the family.
We had a great tour. Ibrahim was knowledgeable and extremely helpful throughout. Highly recommended.
Personable, friendly guide, made sure we did everything we wanted, even with our limited time. It was a long day but his energy kept us going. Would definitely recommend. Genuine guy
We went to a private tour with Nada as a tour guide. It was the best decision we could have made. My wife is a slow walker and we rented a mobility scooter for her. The driver was really good in fitting the scooter in the trunk, which was a tight space. It was great weather. We went to places I have read about for years- the Pyramids and Sphinx. Nada was so informative and interesting in her explanations. We enjoyed the tour immensely, especially with Nada as a tour guide and the driver helping out any way he could. Thanks for such a special day!
Another great tour with Reem. Reem is a very knowledgeable guide who has a very good understanding of Egyptian history. The tour through the Giza Pyramids was amazing. Would highly recommend Reem.
Reem and the team were extremely excellent. They gave us ample time to visit the sites and lots of breaks as we were travelling with our 8 and 3 year old. They arranged all the tickets and provided us such insightful information on the significance of the sites. And she took the best pictures ever at each site for our family. Thank you Reem and the team !
Such an amazing day!!! We felt taken care of the entire day. Our guide Ibrahim had perfect knowledge, wonderful storytelling and friendly conversation. We will remember this day forever! Thankyou
The trip with these guys was amazing! Highly recommend them! Saw so many amazing things and learnt so much! I would use them again 100% Ibrahim was amazing :)
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing Saqqara, Dahshur & Memphis Tour We had an absolutely wonderful experience exploring Saqqara, Dahshur, and Memphis, and a huge part of what made the day so special was our guide Bassem Bassem was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, professional, and passionate about Egyptian history. He explained everything in a very interesting and easy-to-understand way, giving us plenty of fascinating details about the ancient Egyptian civilization, the pyramids, and the history behind each site At Saqqara, seeing the Step Pyramid of Djoser and learning about its importance in the development of pyramid architecture was incredible. We then continued to Dahshur, where we visited the Bent Pyramid and Red Pyramid. Bassem explained the different stages of pyramid construction and the reasons behind their unique shapes, which made the visit much more meaningful Our visit to Memphis was also fantastic. It was amazing to see the enormous statue of Ramses II and learn about Memphis as one of the most important cities and capitals of ancient Egypt. Throughout the entire day, Bassem was very attentive and made sure we were comfortable, answering all our questions and giving us enough time to enjoy each place without feeling rushed. He also helped us take some great photos and made the whole experience relaxed and enjoyable. This was one of the highlights of our trip to Egypt. We highly recommend Bassem to anyone visiting Cairo and wanting to discover the ancient sites beyond the Giza Pyramids. Thank you, Bassem, for an unforgettable day! 🇪🇬❤️
We had a great private tour of Saqqara, Memphis, and Dahshur. Our guide Basem was very knowledgeable, friendly, and easy to spend the day with. He explained the history clearly and helped make each stop more interesting without making the day feel rushed. We were able to see everything we had hoped to, including the Step Pyramid of Djoser, the Serapeum, the main sights in Memphis, and the Bent and Red Pyramids at Dahshur. The day was well organized and everything went smoothly. We really enjoyed the experience and would definitely recommend this tour to anyone looking to explore these sites outside of central Cairo.
Fabulous day! So good to see the journey that was taken learning how to create a pyramid. Definitely worth entering inside the pyramids - but be prepared for a climb! Our tour guide was very informative, the driver courteous and the car clean and comfortable
We were given very valuable information and driver and guide were very friendly
The whole experience with Mohamed was very joyful! We’ve had such a nice experience.
We had a wonderful experience visiting the Pyramids with Khaled as our guide. She was extremely knowledgeable and explained the history, culture, and key highlights in great detail, making the entire visit much more interesting and memorable. What made the experience even more special was her exceptional photography skills! She knew all the best spots and angles and captured some amazing photos for us. Khaled was friendly, professional, patient, and made sure we had a great time throughout the tour. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the Pyramids of Giza!
Overall experience is amazing and guide Ms.Khloud is super friendly and professional. Enjoyed every bit of it.
We booked the tour on the same day everything was so smooth nice air condition car very polite driver arrived in time. Our tour guide was Donia very knowledgeable not only about the pyramids about the whole history of Egypt with good recommendations of places to visit we really enjoyed our visit. My brother, our children, and I went to Cairo. It was our good luck that Reem was our guide for the day. Really, thank you very much, Reem, for your patience with us and for everything you did for us. Reem is very informative and has a lot of patience with us. Thanks a lot, Reem. We highly recommend Reem.
Excellent day spend with khloud
The Giza Pyramid and sphinx tour was an excellent experience for me. From the pick up to the Pyramd and the tours, lunch, company and guide was amazing. I will recommend Ahmed to friends and colleagues who wish to visit Cairo for a tour in the future. Superb performance. Thanks sooo much.
The experience was fantastic! Ahmed gave great historical insight even for someone who has read up on the topic! He answered many many questions and was always patient. Step pyramid, Unas, Bent, and Red pyramids were all fantastic. Be sure to see the Bent before the Red, the climb down/in is difficult and easier before the red. Both are moderately difficult. They can be quite narrow. The food and the open museum also was great! The drive was comfortable - air conditioned - very new and clean. They provided small snacks and water but still bring your own. Be sure to bring some extra pounds or something for when you need to tip at the restaurant he takes you to. It was a once in a life time excursion and I will remember it forever. Thank you Ahmed (guide) and Momen (driver)!
Ibrahim was a great guide and showed us great soots
The tour was good and our guide Ibrahim was fun and friendly. The explanations were nice too. However we took the tour after we had seen giza, aswan and luxor so it felt kinda repetitive in its theme but im not a history buff and it was so hot, so that could be why i felt so. Definitely a tour full of history!
Great day with our guide Ibrahim. I learned new things and enjoyed the trip to the pyramids and tombs. We also had nice meal after.
An unforgettable day with our tour guide Ibrahim! He was an excellent guide with great knowledge about all the pyramids. His wide experience really helped us understand the history in a simple and enjoyable way. I truly believe having a tour guide is essential to fully enjoy the visit. He explained everything clearly without making it complicated. I had visited before without a guide, and the experience was not as good at all. We explored the amazing Giza Pyramids, and thanks to Ibrahim, the whole tour felt smooth and well-organized. Also, choosing the right travel company makes a big difference. I highly recommend this company as everything was perfectly arranged, and they offer excellent tours
Best experience of a lifetime! Ahmed was knowledgeable and kind! He took great pictures of my an and took us ill around to all the places we wanted to visit! Would highly recommend!
One of the best experiences of our lives! Traveled with my husband and booked 2 days of sightseeing with Ahmed! He picked us up from the airport and privately took us around to 4 different spots in Cairo including the Pyramids of Giza, Citadel and museum! He was so patient and so knowledgeable! It was worth every dime! Would highly recommend!
The tour was great and ibrahim was knowledgeable he had many interesting stories to tell we did enjoy with him, he gave us one of the best days at Egypt
Excellent and informative tour with a lot of variety. Very friendly man and excellent food to finish.
The tour was great we visited the places and ibrahim was to friendly and knowledgeable with all the stories about Egypt and the driver is good
This was breathtaking experience. Loved everything about it and once again Rana our tour guide did a fantastic job. I definitely recommend her.
The guide was exceptional at explaining the sites, hieroglyphics and was well placed.
A great experience, good to see the pyramids. Ibrahim gave us good explanation of the architectural evolution of pyramids in the Ancient Egypt. Also interesting to see the real Egypt.
It is nicely organized tour - definitely I wouldn't recommend visiting these places by yourself - having a guide (thanks Ibrahim) and transport is essential. You can enter the Pyramids and see some amazing hiéroglyphes. On top of the archaeological sites you can visit carpet factory and buy some souvenirs. We will also have lunch. A must do when in Cairo
I went to the oldest pyramid in Saqqara and bent pyramid, red pyramid in Dafahur. I had a great time. After going pyramids, I went to the Memphis museum which has the statue of Ramesess Ⅱ. The tour guide has significant knowledge of the history and ancient buildings of Egypt so I was able to learn about ancient Egypt. It was a great experience! I really recommend! The guide name is Ibrahim and the driver name is youssef ! Thank you for the tour!
By far the best pyramid experience in Egypt, not only for the wonders of Saqqara and Dosher but for our friendly guide Ibrahim and our driver, Ibrahim! Early start at 8am, picked up on the dot, finished by 2.30pm that includes all tickets and lunch, as well as local snacks that Ibrahim our guide got for us, it was a very hospitable tour! Avoids the crowds entirely so you can be at peace. Highly recommend going into the Unas Pyramid to see Amazing hieroglyphics and the bent pyramid, but be warned it is a challenge. We learned a lot from Ibrahim who was patient with our questions and provided extra knowledge! We were taken to the customary shop to browse and potentially buy, but no pressure at all, so it was a quick pit stop. Memphis was a lot less than I thought it would offer but it was more because of my expectations of the place, so you won't miss out on much if you skip Memphis, but we did get to see a huge statue of Ramses II.
Our experience with Ibrahim the to r guide and Ibrahim the driver was amazing and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. He went above and beyond and even got some orange juice a local Egyptian dish for breakfast despite it not being included just because I wanted some orange juice. Beyond the hospitality he was really knowledgeable and very passionate about ancient Egypt which really made our experience that much better, specially for the step pyramid which is the oldest pyramid to have been built. We cannot recommend Ibrahim the tour guide more!
It was really good day Ibrahim was a great tour guide he is knowledges are great and yossef the driver was smooth. Highly recommend the tour
We had a wonderful day with our family of four kids. Our guides were great with our kids and we did not feel rushed at all. We chose the VIP package. Lunch was provided at the end of the tour and it was delicious. Our guide Ahmed and driver Mamdouh were very professional. Highly recommend.
Ibrahim was a knowledgeable tour guide. He knew how to navigate the pyramids complex and was able to answer all our questions. He helped us take great photos and helped us tailor the tour based on our interests! We did the shorter three hours tour which is perfect if you want to see the pyramids and get the highlights and don’t necessarily have a lot of time to spend at the Giza complex
It was a lovely experience. Our guide Farohaa was very patient and insightful. The driver was also very good. I would recommended this trip.
Excellent, great tour with very experienced and knowledgeable guide Ahmed. Pick on time, Ahmed took great family photos, very friendly and helpful to foreigners that requires extra sense of comfort
Ahmed was a very good guide. He had excellent knowledge about the Tour site. He is also an excellent photographer ( with cellphone). The camel try was good. Must see the inside of the pyramid I would highly recommend him.
My Trip to the Pyramids was EVERYTHING. One of my best Birthday Trips. @Nada, my Private Tourguide was exceptional. She is a multi-lingual native who speaks English so clearly. She was very patient with me. She is very knowledgeable, she not only shared Information about the Giza Pyramids but also Eygpt on a whole. I recommend her 1000%. Thanks for making my Trip very memorable @Nada. Love from Sherica (Jamaica)
Ahmed was incredible! One of the best tours we’ve ever been on. Just the right speed of information and movement between sites. Ahmed knew exactly where to take us to make our day run smoothly and avoid some of the crowds. And the food was delicious- the perfect way to end the tour. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend the tour to everyone!
