Private Giza Pyramids, Sphinx Full Tour Inside Pyramids & Tomb

We had a brilliant day exploring the pyramids at Giza and Saqqara with Fatima. She organised everything very efficiently and was entertaining in her explanations. We rode camels and read hieroglyphics. It was a great day out - highly recommended

This was a wonderful tour with our guide Fatima. From riding a Camel for the first time, to going into the Pyramids, it was an amazing & unforgettable experience, being inside structures built thousands of years ago!

We had the private tour around the pyramids, sphynx, tomb and inside the pyramid, with Khaked, who was fabulous from start to finish. The tour is advertised at 4 hours but this did not include transfers from the hotel or lunch, so in total it was a lot longer, which was great because online it wasn’t clear whether transfers were inclusive of the allocated time. Khaked shared loads of knowledge that was otherwise not available to read, especially in the visitor centre/museum at the start of the pyramids. He also ensured we had prime positions to view all of the artefacts and monuments. Khaked was very friendly and welcoming, creating a great environment for us to feel safe. He took loads of amazing photos for us which was an added bonus! His English was very good and he was able to answer every question that we had about the pyramids and Pharos. With the tour guide, we were not hassled by anyone else and the tour was so private it was exceptional value for money. We had private entrances to the tomb and the experience was second to none. We visited the pyramids again on our last day, just by taking an uber, and the amount that we were hastled by locals was completely overwhelming. The uber dropped us at the wrong location and demanded cash to take us to the right place, merchants would follow you, not leaving you alone and just navigating around the place was very difficult. We had none of that when we did the tour, we were seamlessly shown around and transported from place to place. We did a lot of research and A1 tours repeatedly came up as the best choice and I completely agree I would recommend them every time.

100% recommend to book very nice stuff. Everything was booked for you, and we were even picked up. All we did is show up. Really felt like VIP!!! Felt safeit at all times. Pick up, we went for some shopping. Then we got tacos. We walked around the pyramids. and we had lunch included good for a private tour

Thanks to Mahmoud - our awesome driver and Sahl, our personal guide, this was a great morning to see the pyramids of Giza. Sahl provided great info and led us through some great sights. The visit to the Papyrus shop was unnecessary and spoilt the morning a bit - just a hard sell for papyrus images - give it a miss if you can. Otherwise, lunch was great and being able to navigate the crowds made it worth the time.

This tour was amazing! We were picked up promptly by our lovely driver Mustafa and then taken on an unbelievable tour by the amazing Abdo. We were a family with children and Abdo was so patient with us all and let us take our time around the sites as well as taking some incredible photos for our group. This trip was something we were really excited about and Abdo made it so memorable with the amount of knowledge he had about the pyramids. Please don’t miss the Meres Ankh tomb. The beautiful inscriptions that are still visible is just incredible! Thank you to Abdo and Mustafa!

We had a fantastic private tour of the Giza Plateau with Abdo and he proved to be an exceptional guide. His knowledge of Egyptian history and the pyramids was outstanding, and he has a wonderful ability to explain the history in a way that is engaging, easy to follow, and genuinely fascinating. Seeing the pyramids and the Sphinx is incredible on its own, but having Abdo there to provide the history, context, and stories behind what we were seeing made the experience so much more meaningful. Abdo was also incredibly kind, patient, and professional throughout the day. He made sure we never felt rushed, answered all of our questions, and knew exactly how to navigate the Giza Plateau so we could make the most of our time. It felt much more like exploring Giza with a knowledgeable local friend than simply following a tour guide. One of the unexpected highlights came after visiting the pyramids when Abdo took us to a fantastic locals-only lunch spot that we never would have discovered on our own. The food was delicious, authentic, and a wonderful opportunity to experience a little bit of everyday Egyptian life away from the typical tourist restaurants. It was the perfect way to finish the experience. Abdo’s combination of deep knowledge, kindness, professionalism, and genuine enthusiasm for sharing Egypt made our visit to Giza truly memorable. I would recommend him without hesitation to anyone visiting Cairo or Giza. Having Abdo as our guide made an already bucket-list experience even better!

With Lobna, you'll have the best time of your life. This is also the ONLY tour that takes you to the only tomb in the area with wall paintings and hieroglyph writings. Our guide Lobna was wonderful, she accomodated for our needs and made it a comfortable and magical experience. We learned, we laughed a lot, we had so much fun. She even took us to the city to get perfumes, authentic papyrus and silver cartouches with our names in hieroglyph. Best day ever!!! Thank you a million times for the unforgettable day 🥰

Fantastic experience and our tour guide Ghada was amazing. Very knowledgeable and highly recommended. We did the all inclusive option so got to see the pyramids as well as camel ride around them, go inside of one, visit a tomb and see the sphinx up close. After that, we went for lunch. A great way to tick off a bucket list tour!

It was very hot crowded and slightly disappointing. But not as bad a seeing nothing after a 4 hour wait at the great pyramid. That was ridiculous .

It was an absolutely amazing experience, choose Sasha as your tour guide if you can, she adjusted the plan a little bit to accommodate me, very knowledgeable about local history and culture. I got late due to another booking but Sasha and her team waited for me and made sure I can still see the best of the tour. She also took me to a few local stores, she asked me first if I was interested to see them, so I chose the Papyrus, perfume and statue stores. She just waited patiently while I was walking around there, both Sasha and the store staffs didn’t tried to push me to buy anything, it’s a very comfortable environment, and the local lunch provided to Sasha was also very good Egyptian Experience! When we walked around and someone tried to scam me Sasha would tell them to go away, she really took my whole Egypt experience to the next level, choose her if you can!

The trip will take some physicality especially going inside the tomb of the pyramid where you will have to climb up crouching, hard on the legs if you are not use to it. Im still sore after 2 days lol. Our tour guide Fatma was very knowledgeable and thorough the whole time. As well as our driver to the site Islam

Really good tour, comprehensive tour of the Giza site. Inside the pyramid is tight and steep, but really interesting. We lucked out with our guide Mo, who was brilliant, engaging, great sense of humour and excellent communication throughout.

I really enjoyed this tour. Rasha was wonderful! I hope when I return I get to have her as my guid again. Fair warning, be ready for side excursions for shops and the aggressive local merchants. Rasha was wonderful in shoowing them away haha.

Loved my experience with Amara. She was very knowledgeable and made the tour much more interesting than if I were to do it on my own. Didn’t pressure me to shop or look at perfumes or papyrus. Highly recommend it!

I had an excellent experience with this tour guide during my visit. From the very beginning, he was extremely polite, friendly, and made us feel comfortable right away. We had a great time throughout the whole tour. He took us everywhere we wanted to go, managed everything smoothly, and even helped us skip queues, which made a huge difference and saved us a lot of time. He guided us every step of the way, always making sure we were enjoying the experience and understanding what we were seeing. One of the highlights was the food—he took us to places with very high-quality, traditional dishes, which made the experience even more authentic. Overall, a truly enjoyable and well-organized experience. I would highly recommend him to anyone visiting.

We had an amazing pyramid tour guided by Nada Yassin, and it truly exceeded our expectations. Nada was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and engaging throughout the entire visit. She explained the history in a way that was both informative and easy to follow, making the experience even more memorable. I highly recommend Nada Yassin to anyone looking for a well-organized and enriching pyramid experience!

I believe your experience will highly depend on the guide. I observed motivated and demotivated guides while visited the pyramids. The motivated guides knew and shared some interesting stories besides pure historical facts, knew great places for picture taking and generally seemed engaged and treated the guided trip a fun. Demotivated were just ticking the boxes. Rasha, our guide sits somwhere in the middle. Definitely knowledgeable but very factual and dry. No stories, no extra background, we felt like a school history lesson. Average English, sometimes not easy to follow. . . Not really into pictures (and teenage visitors need to feed their Insta). We spent 45 min driving to lunch (waste of precious time) followed by a typical tourist diversion to visit overpriced shops with opils and papyrus (avoid these unless you do want to buy sth. and you do not have time to do on your own). I would not select this tour again, gave it 3 stars since I understand the guides need an income and my guess is a large portion of what we pay lands in intermediaries (tickets were included in the price). However the guides, drivers expect the tip anyway and keep in mind they effectively work 6-8 months due to high temperatures in summer. Some advise: go as early as possible, start either from Spinx to have pictures without crowds or go to the Great Pyramid if you have an inside visit. The lines for the latter may reach 1h wait time outside (in the open sun) and it’s very narrow, humid inside with ppl going up/down both directions through tunnels 60-80 cm wide. Also find your time to just walk around and enjoy, park the guide somewhere because there’s constant pressure to move (to go and visit the overpriced shops since the guide needs that commission as well)… However the experience of visiting the piramids is simply unforgettable.

We had the absolute best day exploring the pyramids on a private tour with Ghada! She was amazing organizing everything, her level of knowledge unbelievable and I honestly don’t think we could’ve been in better hands. Her passion and love for history and her culture shined through in every aspect and that made our experience even more special! Shout out to our driver Mr Islam too!!! Fantastic trip with excellent guide Hossam, who looked after us well and gave clear explanations. He contacted us the day beforehand with pick up details and glad we took his advice to depart at 8am as we were ahead of the large tour parties. Made for a really enjoyable time with no queues. Fab lunch too at a clean restaurant.

Booked via Booking.com The driver was great. He picked us up right on time from our hotel lobby (no waiting outside) and made sure we were comfortable the whole way. The guide was very nice, have the kids treats for engaging in trivia and we learned a lot. Remember that these guys don't get paid very much and rely heavily on tips. We have a lot of great photos but I'm not uploading family pictures.

The tour guide and driver are very kind and polite. They came on time with a very clean car. Our guide (Rasha) is very patient in helping us with our infant. It is a great experience overall. I do hope the best for Egyptian in this tough time. God bless Egyptian.

Our experience was absolutely incredible! Our guide Rania was very sweet and caring. She made us feel as if it was a personal friend showing us the area. She explained the sites very well, never rushed us and took plenty of photos including fun creative poses that turned out great! She answered any questions we had and the people that interacted with her spoke very highly of her. Our driver Moustafa was also wonderful. He was kind, engaging, and always had a smile. He was very accommodating and answered questions in the car along the way and even made impromptu stops for us at local shops we had previously visited and wanted to return to. Overall these two made for one unforgettable, special experience of a lifetime.

If you go to Cairo, you can’t miss the pyramids. And if you want to see the pyramids , call Mo. We were very fortunate to have him for two days and he guided us effortlessly through the sights and sounds of Cairo with incredible narratives and history throughout the 1000’s of years. On top of that, he was just plain fun to be with and made our trip unforgettable

It was our first time in Egypt, and our guide, Mai, gave us a full tour of the pyramids and the Sphinx. We were picked up at the hotel at the appointed time, and the car was clean and comfortable. Mai told us about the history of the pyramids, showed us the best spots for beautiful photos, and answered all our questions. We really appreciated her attentive attitude; the trip flew by, and we had a wonderful experience. We highly recommend Mai as a guide!

The guide was ok however they rushed us in Giza, so instead of proper site visit they took us to shopping which was useless

Well organized, smooth and hustle free tour of the Sphinx and pyramids. We booked the all inclusive tour and saw everything we wanted. The guide was very nice and helpful and could answer all our questions. More explanation of what we are seeing, history, etc. would have made it a five star experience.

Our tour guide Medhat was very good. He was exactly the kind of guide we needed. He was kind and respectful to our needs. He was providing the tour in the right kind of pace. You get the best views by following his directions. We highly recommend him.

Good communication, my guide Rania was helpful and gave me plenty of time to take photos. The highlight for me was the Marsa Ankh tomb. Going inside the great pyramid is quite a squeeze, so probably not suitable for anyone who is claustrophobic, but quite an experience in itself (and be prepared to queue). Overall a good first day activity to get acquainted with the key sights at Giza.

I had an amazing experience visiting the Pyramids of Giza with our guide, Mai. She was very pleasant and easy to communicate with, which made the whole tour even more enjoyable. After the tour, Mai kindly offered us three options for lunch. We chose the third option, which was a buffet-style restaurant. The food was delicious, and the place was very comfortable. I also appreciated that there was no pressure or attempt to push souvenir purchases, which made the experience feel relaxed and genuine. Overall, we really enjoyed the tour and were so satisfied that we booked our next excursion with Mai as well. Highly recommended!

I don't recommend this tour. We had a bad experience with the Guide. She spoke more regarding selling stuffs than explaining the place and history. Literally we need to keep asking to say something about the place. We can see all other guides around us explain something but our guide is silent most of the times.

The tour of the Pyramids was an amazing experience. Everything was well organized, and we had enough time to enjoy and take pictures. Our guide Azza was very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. She explained the history in a clear and interesting way and was always attentive to our questions and needs.
