Excellent! Good English and very intelligent, he know the history of the visited places.

Everything was perfect from start to finish. Our guide and driver picked us up from our hotel right on time and we first went to Saqqara. There, we visited the Tomb of Kagemni, with its amazing reliefs, and then the Pyramid of Teti. Everything was explained extremely well by our guide Mohammed, an archaeologist who also speaks excellent Italian. We then visited the Serapeum, which was truly impressive, especially the huge stone sarcophagi inside. After that, we saw the Step Pyramid of Djoser, another unforgettable highlight of the tour. After a refreshing break, we continued to Giza, where we visited the pyramids and the Sphinx. What really made the difference was our guide: Mohammed explained the history, the details of the monuments, and the construction techniques in a very clear and engaging way. Another big plus was the fact that we visited at the end of June, so Saqqara was almost empty. It really felt like a private tour. No queues, not even for the entrance tickets: absolutely top! The only thing to keep in mind is that it is very hot at this time of year, but luckily there was a light breeze throughout the day, so we managed very well. Highly recommended!

The tour guide was wonderful! The only reason that I’m giving it a three star is because we could not understand him!! He seemed to know a lot about what he was talking about. But there was such minimum communication because of his thick Egyptian accent. We speak English. Possibly the tour company did not realize that.

I choose this tour because i really wanted to visit the serapeum. I thought because of the price i would be part of a larger group, but no it was a private tour for only me, which gave some freedom in which order to do the program. Mohammed was very kind & knowledgeable and would answer all my questions. Because of a previous accident i was in a lot of pain when walking so he even brought me to a doctor who quickly identified the issue and gave some medication which really helped. I would highly recommend booking this trip of you want a personalised 5 star experience

It's not for the first time in Egypt for us. But the first in the new great museum. In a short time visit, as usually, nothing matters more than a good guide. And we found Mohamed, the very good one. He perfectly knew to take us through the Egypt history within few hours, at the Museum and, as well as, at the Pyramids. We had the most amazing day with our guide Mohammed from el mo tours he spent as much time as we needed the pace was easy & we got to see everything we wanted. Our driver also spoke English we had refreshments and air con. The heat was extreme 50c but we had a nice cool car & spent time out of the sun.

Since Mohammed was our first guide in Egypt (on our first day , at the Pyramids in Giza) one only realised later , after meeting Ahmed our guide in Luxor, how terrible he was . Sanctimonious to a fault, got pissed off at me for referring to Google on my phone while he was still droning on . And considering he told us the Great Pyramids base was 12 sq km (when I could see its base was barely 0.5 km long) and I was only researching the correct figure! But he really took the cake with the sheer lies he told us when we asked if there was a beer bar nearby, wanting to have a couple before lunch . He totally misguided us, telling us there were no bars nearby , nor shops selling chilled beer . He also told us there were no restaurants serving beer at Saqqara (where we were headed next) : all proved wrong by later googling . The most unkind cut of all was discovering that the very next restaurant at Saqqara that we lunched in served beer . There is also an Egyptian guide “gyp” where they try to push you to eat at buffet “all inclusive tariff” restaurants , insisting there are no others . Don’t fall for it and insist on googling up your own a la carte restaurants . And would advise you to strictly discourage the mandatory stop at vastly overpriced emporiums of tourist junk. Make your Own Way in Egypt and strictly doubt the guides recommendations for all other than monuments and sightseeing schedule .

It was a great day! Special requests were easily met and there was a lot of information about ancient and new Egypt. Also the driver was great and relaxed.

The full-day excursion to the Pyramids of Giza, Saqqara and Serapeum proved to be a globally positive experience, especially thanks to the logistical support provided. The transportation between the various points of interest and the general orientation along the route were fundamental elements to enjoy each moment without additional worries. In this sense, the organization of the tour is clearly worth it. However, we feel that the quality of the follow-up could have been more consistent, especially with regard to the historical content presented. Considering the cultural and archaeological richness of these sites, it would be expected that the guide would demonstrate a deeper knowledge, able to contextualize each monument and offer a more complete and rigorous perspective. The fact that the visit was conducted in Portuguese was a very positive point, facilitating communication and interaction throughout the day. Still, we believe that this linguistic facility could have been better exploited to enrich the experience with more detailed and informative explanations. In short, the tour performs well the logistical function and offers a good introduction to the sites visited, but there is clear room to improve the historical preparation of the guide, in order to provide a truly complete and memorable experience.
