We booked this Japanese-speaking guide. We hired a guided tour because we thought it would protect us from aggressive touts and rip-offs locally. However, this tour guide itself tried to deceive and rip us off. They demanded an additional fee four times the tour price for optional extras. Furthermore, the camel ride around the pyramids, which should cost 1000 Egyptian pounds for an hour, was charged at 35 USD for just 15 minutes. Furthermore, the guide's explanations of the pyramids and other ruins were delivered at an extremely fast pace, making it difficult for us to understand much. Moreover, we were rushed constantly around the pyramids, preventing us from fully experiencing the awe-inspiring atmosphere. It was a very disappointing guided tour.

A full-day tour visiting Giza Pyramids where you visit the Great Pyramids - Cheops, Chephren & Mykerinos then Visit the Valley Temple where the Priests Mummified the dead body of King Chephren Also there you will have a close-up look at The Sphinx - The legendary guardian that stands by the huge funeral complex with its lion body and the head of king Chephren. (2:30 hrs time Spent). Entrance is included for Pyramids Area
Pyramid of Khafre or of Chephren is the second-tallest and second-largest of the 3 Ancient Egyptian Pyramids of Giza and the tomb of the Fourth-Dynasty pharaoh Khafre, who ruled c. 2558−2532 BC
The Great Pyramid of Giza is the oldest and largest of the three pyramids in the Giza pyramid complex bordering present-day Giza in Greater Cairo, Egypt. It is the oldest of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, and the only one to remain largely intact. The original entrance to the Great Pyramid is on the north, 17 meters (56 ft.) vertically above ground level and 7.29 meters (23.9 ft.) east of the centerline of the pyramid. From this original entrance, there is a Descending Passage 0.96 meters (3.1 ft.) high and 1.04 meters (3.4 ft.) wide, which goes down at an angle of 26° 31'23" through the masonry of the pyramid and then into the bedrock beneath it. After 105.23 meters (345.2 ft.), the passage becomes level and continues for an additional 8.84 meters (29.0 ft.) to the lower Chamber, which appears not to have been finished. There is a continuation of the horizontal passage in the south wall of the lower chamber; there is also a pit dug in the floor of the chamber.
Sakkara, located only 27 km southwest away from Cairo. Visit the Step Pyramid (Built for king Zoser), which is considered an important part of the process of the pyramid evolution, which was made from the simple mastaba to its widely known form. (2 hrs Time Spent)
The Pyramid of Djoser, or Step Pyramid, is an archaeological site in the Saqqara necropolis, Egypt, northwest of the city of Memphis. The 6-tier, the 4-sided structure is the earliest colossal stone building in Egypt. It was built in the 27th century BC during the Third Dynasty for the burial of Pharaoh Djoser
The mastaba of Mereruka is the largest and most elaborate of all the non-royal tombs in Saqqara with 33 rooms or chambers in total. Mereruka was the vizier to king Teti, who was the first pharaoh of the 6th dynasty Old Kingdom period of Egypt
Dahshur pyramids were an extremely important learning experience for the Egyptians. It provided them with the knowledge and know-how to transition from steep-sided pyramids to smooth-sided pyramids. Ultimately their breadth of experience would allow them to build the Great Pyramid of Giza; the last of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World still standing to this date.

We loved this tour especially our guide, Nasser. We had a blast exploring the pyramids and everything in between. I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting Egypt. My favorite thing was how insightful Nasser is about Egypt.
The trip delivered exactly what was promised, and at the right pace . Our guide, Ms Ghada was outstanding. Her knowledge and English were awesome, and she gave just the right amount of information, plus tailored to our interests. It was the absolutely best way to visit the Giza and Saqqara pyramids.
The views of the pyramids were amazing. Our tour guide was Nasser who was very patient and friendly, and he gave us the best experience. He was constantly available to answer questions or help. We had a brilliant day, and special shout out to our driver who navigated the Egyptian traffic very well. Would highly highly highly recommend doing this tour. Big thanks to Nasser and his driver!!!
We were guidet by Nasser and he did a fantastic job. Throughout the day, he gave us the best experience, and were always available to help or answer questions. We had a great day, no way we were able to do a similar trip by ourselves - not to mention navigating through Egyptian traffic. We can highly recommend a full day trip with Egypt direct Tours - you will be well taken care of. Hotel pickup, our own driver and personal guide for the entire day - and a delicious lunch - the price is even reasonable. Big thanks to Nasser and Hassan ✌️.
Our guide Nessar took us to a full day Giza, Memphis and Saqqara tour. He was super kind and helpful, Kew everything about Egypt. We had a wonderful time with him. Seeing the famous monuments and listening about the history was a very fascinating experience. We highly recommend him for private tour and we will definitely ask him again when we come back to Egypt.
Best tour i ever had, especially for mr.nasser chapeau! Best tour guide ever, If I could give 10 stars, it would get 10 stars
Ahmed Nasser was an exceptional tour guide during my Alexandria day tour and Memphis city tour in Egypt. His deep knowledge of Egyptian history and culture brought each site to life, making the experience both educational and captivating. Ahmed's friendly demeanor and professionalism ensured a smooth and enjoyable journey, offering insightful commentary and answering all our questions with patience. I highly recommend Ahmed Nasser for anyone looking to explore Egypt's treasures with an experienced and personable guide.
We traveled to different places in Giza, Memphis. Nasser is a wonderful tour guide. He knows a lot about the history. He was very friendly and hospitable. We had a 3 month old baby with us. But he made it so easy for us by good planning and we didn’t miss anything in the day tour. Atif also knows his way round. Wish to take more tours with him in the future.
I loved this tour! My wife and I took our 6 month old baby with us and our guides ( Hassan and Nasser) were very accommodating. The private van was very clean and had a lot of space for our bags and baby stroller. Hassan even went out of his way to watch our baby while we would go up the pyramids and walk in museums. They treated us like family and that is very rare these days.
Nasser was a kind, knowledgeable, and friendly guide. He was patient when we stopped for photos and took many of us himself! Very respectful of the girls in our group and so sweet with the children asking him questions- I love how he included them in the conversation! He is an invaluable guide and totally made our trip, I would recommend going with him :) we made so many memories on our stops!

Nasser the guide was amazing! Thoughtful, patient and knowledgeable! Was fun and funny traveling through the pyramids with him. Mohammad the driver was excellent and really made feel safe on the road. They are very much cool Zalame’s!
Great experience. Nasser guide was fantastic, always available and extremely expert of the area and it’s history. With Islam they brought us around amazing places! Recommended
Mr Nasser is an excellent tour guide. He showed us the pyramids of Giza and Saqqara and we visited Ramses II statute in Memphis. He also explained in detail the history behind the pyramids, including the Pharaohs who built them, the type of stone used for the different pyramids and where the stones came from. For lunch he took us to a small local kebab restaurant. The food quality was excellent and had plenty number of dishes. It was an enriching day visiting and learning about these ancient sites. Would definitely recommend.
What to say after such an amazing day! This fantastic tour started with Nasser picking us up at our hotel, and though we were late, both him and Yessir never pressed us for time and accommodated our schedule. We got to see and visit incredible architectural sites including the pyramids, the Sphinx, Memphis and Saqqara and the day ran smoothly; not only was Nasser a great historian, but he also answered to all of our questions and treated us like family. Communication was great, and we felt safe at all times! Lunch was fantastic (a true Egyptian meal with super tasty starters and an incredible warm home-made pita bread) and they even had the hospitality to invite us to some fresh mango juice, free snacks and took us to the closest ATM on our way back to our request. Yessir was a very skilled driver and he always brought the car closest to the site. In summary, we highly recommend this tour to any travelers coming to Egypt! Thank you, Nassir and Yessir!
We were picked up from our hotel on time and the trip was very good. Mr Nasser was knowledgeable and very friendly, we felt safe and it was very useful to be shown where to go. We were very happy with our tour and would reccomend Mr Nasser. He made our trip enjoyable and relaxing, thank you so much!!
As a cynical tourist, I consider the below to be high praise indeed, so take it in the spirit intended....complete candor. From the beginning, Mr. Nasser was professional and helpful. He was aware of the perceptions that tourists have about being taken advantage of and attempted to clear those up from the outset. He sorted out our tickets to the Giza pyramids and our camel rides. He provided explanations when appropriate and was always available but never obtrusive as we toured Giza. He was also quite kind to our children, which was appreciated. As a frequent tourist understands, tour guides have relationships with other service providers and often help each other out. Mr. Nasser brought us to a papyrus shop and a perfume shop as “cultural experiences”. Each location did offer a brief demonstration/educational talk, but each was clearly geared toward a tourist sales pitch rather than merely ‘culture’, but we consented and thus it was our choice to go. I mention this only to say that while I do recommend Mr. Nasser for a tour of Giza, I recommend requesting to avoid the sales shops unless you are determined to go and learn about paper and perfume. Overall, I believe Mr. Nasser is an honest man who provides an honest service and who is working within the standard Egyptian tourism system. He was never insistent about where we went and never once pushed anything on us. He offered information, guidance and experiences for us to choose from. I would certainly recommend him to use for a Giza tour.
Mr Nasser is very knowledgeable and he has great patience and can explain the history multiple times till you get it straight.hr is very active and joveal , very apt for a tourist guide. He know almost every one and it makes your movement inside the tourist places smooth and faster. His knowledge on the history of Egypt is vast and you can keep talking hours on it and he will explain tirelessly. I had almost run out of cash and he lent me enough with out any hesitation to be repaid later . I would recommend to book Mr. Nasser on all of your tours to make it a meaningful trip.
The day started with Mr. Nasser and a private driver meeting me at my hotel and from there we drove to the great pyramids. Entry to see the pyramids was free but I paid an extra 360 Egyptian pounds to enter the great pyramid. Mr. Nasser also set up a picture on top of a camel for me and I paid extra to take a tour ride on a camel around the pyramids and Sphinx. From there we made a couple stops to a papyrus museum and a perfume shop. We stopped at a few other attractions that included the great Ramses statue. To finish the day we had a lunch that was paid for and then I was dropped off at my hotel. I highly recommend Mr. Nasser, he was polite and educated.
Very well organized. Tour guide Nasser was very good , locations were well explained , speaks good English Nasser was very supported by Driver Shreef. Good team.
We were provided an amazing tour of the pyramids, Sphinx and Sakkara. We were a large family of 9 - with grand parents and kids - age range 18 months to 74 years. Nasr -our tour guide and he was very considerate of our needs during the full day tour and his knowledge of the history and the city of Cairo and Egypt was amazing and accurate. The tour was never rushed or unnecessarily prolonged. The lunch was little late and not very appetizing, however, a good experience of authentic Egyptian meal. Highly recommend this tour if you are short of time and do a lot. We also took the tour of the city of Cairo (one day) - Citadel, Khan e Khalil market and historical mosque in the city and experience was equally amazing and satisfying.
This is my husband and I first visit to Cairo. We booked our day trip through Hayat, the hotel we were staying at. Nasser was our guide and he was excellent! Not only is he knowledgeable about the city’s history, he was also professional and friendly. He made our visit to Cairo very memorable. He knew the best spots to take pictures, was on time and helped us negotiate some deals. He even bought us a snack and took us to a mango juice spot that was mouth watering! He made sure we had enough time at each of our stops (The Giza Pyramids, Sphinx and Memphis). The driver, Mohammed was also great. Cairo traffic is insane. Mohammed made us feel safe and avoided many speed bumps. We will definitely use their services again and letting our friends know about it!
Thank you to Faten's guide. Our Japanese guide explained everything from pyramids to sightseeing in the city.
Nasser was our guide throughout this beautiful day with our driver Ahmed. Nasser has a lot of patience and is very kind. We had a good laugh and, as a bonus, he takes beautiful photos! See you next time Insha'Allah.
We discovered the tour in our hotel and getting to know part of Egypt with Nasser was great. Nasser accompanied us everywhere, filled with photographs and told a lot of history. We toured in comfort and discovered many places that we would not have been able to find on our own (like the Papyrus Institute or the Sultan’s Perfumes or Saqqara!). Nasser did everything to make us comfortable, we can not do anything but recommend it!
