We had an amazing day tour to the White Desert, Black Desert, and Crystal Desert with our guide, Hamad Sayed. From start to finish, Hamad was incredibly kind, helpful, and attentive to every detail. He made sure we were comfortable throughout the journey and shared fascinating information about each place we visited. One of the highlights was how generously he offered to take photos for us—he captured so many beautiful moments that we’ll treasure forever. His patience, friendliness, and genuine passion for the area truly enhanced our experience.

We hired a guided, wild-camping trip to Bahariya Oasis from where we explored the nearby White Desert, Black Desert and other sites. The White Desert is the most enchanting of them all. Spotless white chalk structures stand as if sprung up from the soft desert sand that stretches on for as far as the eye can see and beyond. The rocks take different kinds of animal, human or mythical shapes. The most famous one of them all is the mushroom and the chicken, with the beak of the chicken looking like it was sculpted by hand! We camped overnight in the middle of this magical place. It was just us, our guides and 2 other tents - no one else in this wilderness. It was our first ever wild camping trip as a family and it was unforgettable. We caught the sunrise early in the morning and saw the pink, orange and yellow hues light up the pristine white of the rocks. This beauty cannot be described in words. It's an experience to be had. Youssef from Sun Pyramids tailored a 3D/2N tour of the Al Fayoum and Bahariya Oasis with visits to the Valley of the Whales, White and Black Desert and other attractions. The guides were all local people and everyone was kind, sensitive to our needs and did everything they could up make us feel comfortable. We had never done a wild camping trip before, it's a completely different experience, and we are glad we chose Sun Pyramids to do it.

Long journey from Giza. However, we knew this beforehand and could adapt to it. But at the destination we were rewarded all the more by the impressions we had gathered. The complete itinerary of the tour worked flawlessly and the guide was also top.

Guide and driver were great travel companions. The dinner cooked by locals was sublime and sleeping in a tent in the desert is an unfulfillable experience. However, you should definitely buy more decent sleeping bags because at night we were really very cold.

You provided us with a wonderful view! In the case of a day trip, I think it is the best plan for those who have time because it will be an early morning departure and a late night return, so use it for a whole day!

Our guide always attentive and explaining all our doubts, the driver available to our needs. I recommend renovating vehicles, the interior condition of the bad car, the tent to sleep renovate them, the one we were assigned without working the lock, getting all the air into the tent

We leave early this morning with Mohamed Al-ghalban from Sun Pyramids for an unforgettable adventure through part of the great Egyptian desert, with the fabulous white desert as the final destination. The organization by Sun Pyramids is at the top. The air-conditioned vehicle, which is available to the oasis, is very comfortable for the four of us, plus Mohamed Al-ghalban, our Guide. Although the 4x4 may seem outdated, Mhamoud, our driver, is an off-piste Expert. It brings us through impressive dune runs and breathtaking sport driving, adding a good dose of adrenaline to our adventure.

We really enjoyed the experience. Our driver Mahmoud and Guide Mohamed were amazing and made the activity unforgettable. The excursion was 100% in Spanish, as requested, and they went to pick us up at our hotel even though it was outside the pickup area. We were offered the sandboarding experience despite not being included. They also gave us lunch and dinner and unlimited water. The car we went into the desert with was very well maintained, spacious and had air conditioning. The white desert is something incredible that is worth seeing, I'm glad I contracted the activity, I think booking is a total success. As a negative point, the activity was supposed to last 12h, we left our hotel at 6:00 am and arrived after 12:00 pm, that hurt us because the next day we had an excursion very early.

Guide Al-Ghalban Mohamed was at our service and showed us beautiful places. A person you can count on to find the best deals! Both drivers were also listening to us. I recommend!

I had contact with Hoda for our excursion to the white and black desert, and Bahariya oasis. She was very attentive, and responded to all our questions responsively, she is a very friendly person and we thank her. Regarding our excursion, very beautiful experience, magnificent landscapes. The locals as well as the different drivers were very pleasant, the meals cooked by the locals were delicious. And finally this experience would not have been as beautiful without our guide Mohamed, a wonderful person who introduced us to Egyptian culture, and learned the language spoken in Egypt. So where to start, I booked this activity on July 28th. In all honesty, I have always taken activities semi-privately, because as I travel alone, it's my way of meeting people and feeling a little safer. The company contacts me to ask me which hotel I am staying at to arrange transportation. He tells me 6:00 am and asks me if I want the activity to be in French or English. The day before my activity, the guide contacts me by what's app to prepare the activity. He speaks average French, but he is very nice. It was through our conversation that I realized that I had booked a private activity, being alone. For several private companies it can also be small groups (not a large passenger bus). Now I'm panicking, I'm going to find myself traveling 9 hours and a few hours in the desert with two men with almost no internet connection. I already had a bad experience in the past and since I have heart problems I didn't want to find myself in a stressful situation a second time. I take the time to explain the situation to the person in charge, he tries to find me a female guide, but in vain. There was no solution. He did not take my concerns into account and insisted on making me do the activity, despite my anxieties. At 3 a.m. I wake up in a panic and I take the time to write to the guide and the manager that I am really not comfortable doing the activity. A woman alone with two men, without connection and without reference points... For me it was inconceivable. Coming from a Muslim country where most activities are separated between women and men. They should have understood my feelings. I therefore contacted the intermediary company with whom I booked the activity to see if an exceptional refund was possible. The Sun Pyramids company does not want anything refunded. I'm trying to offer a 50% refund. They don't want to know anything either. I just paid 249 euros completely in vain, because I wanted to ensure my safety. They have no empathy and understanding of the situation and emotions, despite the fact that I took the time to warn them beforehand (heart problem, bad experience previously, no connection in the car or anywhere, 9 hours of driving alone with two men, etc.) I put two stars because the guide seemed to be more understanding than the company itself and because I misunderstood the notion of privacy here.
