We had a fabulous tour today with our guide Ashraf to Saqqara, Dahshur and Memphis. From pick up, to drop off, nothing was an issue for Ashraf. The tour included all admission tickets, so we could really take in the magnificent pyramids in these complexes. The car was comfortable and the driver, exceptional. We even had the opportunity to purchase a little Special keepsake from our tour. Highly recommend this tour.

This was definitely the highlight of a trip filled with highlights. Between the the uniqueness of these pyramids to the history of Memphis, I really enjoyed this tour. What made it extremely memorable was our tour guide Zanaty (Zizou) Mohamed. Every tour guide in Egypt seems to top the next and Zizou is no exception. His knowledge was exceptional and enthusiasm was contagious. I couldn’t recommend him enough!

Spent a very informational day in Saqqara, Dashur and Memphis with our Tour Guide Extraordinaire -Zanaty “Sizu” Mohammed. Sizu is an Egyptologist who has deep knowledge of history, language and culture of Egypt. We wished we saw the rest of Egypt with Sizu.

We had the most amazing day with our guide Hassan and our driver Eid. Pickup from our hotel was right on time and our guide was straight into explaining things to us and heaps of facts regarding Egypt and the pyramids. Our first stop was Sakkara and the Step pyramid. We spent heaps of time there exploring the pyramids and the tombs, our guide was extremely knowledgeable and explained everything in great detail and we got a great education in understanding and reading cartouches. We entered one tomb underground and the climb down was fun and the tombs and surrounding hieroglyphics were amazing to see. Remember to tip the staff down inside as your guide doesn’t go in with you. Next stop was to the Bent and Red pyramids, less to see inside of these but again amazing to see. You can climb down into both of these but there are no hieroglyphics in these but still a must do. From there our last stop was in Memphis to look at the ruins. Again such history and with our guide’s knowledge this all came to life for us. Our driver was fantastic and he navigated the chaotic traffic to perfection and made it really enjoyable. It was right on 6 hours for the duration. There are times when you go inside the premises where a tip is expected. Overall 11 out of 10 for the day, our driver Eid and amazing guide Hassan were fantastic. We would highly recommend this tour. We bought the tour that included all the entrance fees. Worth every cent.

The guide was an Egyptologist so his knowledge was amazing, my favorite part of the tour was entering the tomb with the priest. We had falafel sandwiches for lunch, they were amazing! We also went to carpet school and ended up purchasing a rug to be shipped to our home in the states! Overall great experience, would recommend to everyone. I had the best time!!

My favorite tour this whole trip!! Our guide arrived early, with great communication. From the moment we left the hotel, conversation was great, educational, and fun. We visited Sakkara which in my opinion was better than Giza, and even entered a priest’s tomb! Before we went to Memphis, we asked our guide to stop for some lunch and had the best falafel everrr. After the Red Pyramid and the Bent Pyramid we finished off the tour with a carpet making tour at a local carpet school which was amazing. Great tour, BEST guide. 10 out of 10!

One impressive experience . Probably 99% of the success must be ascribed to our guide - the dear & prodigious young Mr Hazem - without him ? We would have got stuck inside the old pyramid’s dark narrow labyrinth . All day long, He fluently spoke highly standard English, showed a large range of unusual personal qualities not restricted to the expected professional skills. I mean, a degree of qualifications into a multitude of senses : scientific / cultural subjects encompassing ancient & current tendencies - while depicting historical/ current native rituals, rules & related stuffs. Not forgetting to share his precious points of view. Without him ? The amazing experience would NEVER take place - we would have never dared to go thru the ancient pyramid. The suggested gastronomy experience & souvenirs stores also straight to the point, highly recommended . We have dealt with very honest and trustful sellers all day long. Mr Hazem did his best to safeguard us against the unofficial ( suspicious) sellers. Above all, the remarkable Mr Hazem also paid special & close attention to our safety & well being. A gentleman, a highly talented, intelligent and KIND professional. The driver, also close to perfection : going thru Cairos’s Avenues and narrow streets actually is a wild adventure. This was an Excellent tour and I would highly recommend! Hazem our tour guide was friendly, informative, and organized every detail for us. His descriptions of the history and ancient sites were detailed and fascinating. Our driver Hesham was kind and accommodating, as well. I really wanted to go into a Pyramid he recommended going into the Bent Pyramid (Amazing choice) so worth exploring. Hazem even gave us the option of a few stops, including the Nile Carpet School which was very interesting. We felt like we were walking and talking with a friend the whole time. He shared his culture and country with pride and professionalism, and we enjoyed the tour very much. Also, be sure to get the Egyptian street food lunch he offers on the tour, as it was very authentic and delicious (probably the best lunch we had on our entire trip!). I Would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Cairo.

We had an excellent visit with our guide Hazem. He and his driver helped us with our toddler and made the visit pleasant despite the high temperatures. The explanations from Hazem where well adapted to the visit. Overall we were very happy with our experience.

It was a nice tour with smaller crowds than Giza. Hazem was nice and friendly, explained everything in details. Let me skip what I wasn’t interested in with no issues, so I liked every place I visited.

After you’ve seen the Giza Pyramids, this is a worthwhile additional excursion to considering. Not as busy - off the beaten track, but very interesting and complementary to Giza. Very good company to deal with, with a good, knowledgeable guide and driver, punctual and helpful.

We booked this tour a little last minute as we couldn’t decide whether to spend our final day in Egypt relaxing by the pool after a hectic week of sightseeing or fit in one last adventure, and I am so glad we chose the tour! Honsy, our guide, was excellent, and along with the driver we thoroughly enjoyed our private day exploring Memphis, Saqqara and Dahshur. The day was well organised, comfortable, and full of fascinating insights into Egypt’s ancient history. Saqqara and Dahshur were the absolute highlights for us. The Step Pyramid, the Bent Pyramid and the peaceful atmosphere at both sites made the experience incredibly special — especially compared to the much busier Giza Plateau. Being able to explore these older pyramids with so few crowds was a real treat. Overall, this was a fantastic tour and the perfect way to end our trip. A must‑do if you want to explore Egypt’s older pyramids and enjoy a well‑paced, informative day away from the crowds.

It was on time, the guide had a good english and he was polite

Our guide Hosny took us on a half day tour to Memphis and several lesser visited pyramids. The break from the crowds at Giza was welcome and we nearly had the Stepped Pyramid, the Bent pyramid and the Red Pyramid to ourselves. Hosny was informative, friendly and the pace of the day was great. As a bonus, we stopped by a carpet making school and saw the process of how they are hand made. Of course they would like you to buy something but we weren’t pressured at all. We ended with lunch at a local place after convincing Hosny to take us off the tourist trail. Book this excursion, well worth it!

This tour was one of the highlights of our trip. Our guide, Hazeem, made our day so special. We climbed to the top of the Bent Pyramid which was amazing for two oldies, as well as seeing the Red Pyramid, visiting Teti, Dshshur and Memphis. Our guide really looked after us so well, gave us local food to try and even showed us how carpets were made. Everything went at a good pace for us. Hazeem was so professional, spoke excellent English and explained the history of everything so well and was so friendly and entertaining- we would recommend you must try this!! It was an absolute joy to spend time with Hazeem and to be so well looked after. He was a very knowledgeable Egyptologist snd an excellent guide.

Hazem was a superb guide for our family through Saqqara, Dahshur and Memphis. Not only was he informative in an engaging way, he also interacted with our six year old daughter with grace, humour and genuine interest in her questions and ideas about the history around. He provided informed advice about how best to use our time at each site, where there is more to see than is possible to get to in a day (especially with a child in the group). As a result, we had a completely fulfilling day out, with memorable experiences of going inside three pyramids, examining tombs and visiting the ruins of Memphis, all with Hazem’s expert guidance. The package also included a fantastic lunch of Egyptian falafel and a comfortable vehicle to make the journey, which was expertly piloted by Hisham. All in all, the best of the four different tour packages we booked during our six days in Cairo. Can’t recommend this package, and Hazem as guide, highly enough.

We did the full day Memphis Sakkara and Dashur and it was a fantastic experience. Zizou was our guide and he was excellent. He was very enthusiastic and very knowledgeable. We really had fun and learnt so many things about the Egyptian culture and history. Highly recommend the experience and Zizou.

My wife and I were so glad to have booked this tour due to how much we learned about Egyptian history in a short amount of time! The company provided a professional driver and vehicle that was in good condition with fully functioning A/C, which isn't always guaranteed in Egypt. We were so lucky to have had Zizou as our guide. He gave us time to explore on our own at each site and was more than happy to answer and questions we had. It was super easy to understand Zizou since he spoke near perfect English and it was very easy to follow his explanations and details about ancient Egyptian history.

We had a wonderful half day visit to Sakkara, Memphis and Dahshur. Our tour guide is great - very knowledgeable, patient, friendly, and took a lot of good shots for us. He messaged us the day before to confirm the pick up time and arrived in our Movenpick hotel on time. On our way to Sakkara, he drew the time line and sketches of the evolution of pyramids and social as well as ideological backgrounds. This tour is important prerequisite for our coming visit to Giza pyramids and grand museums. I recommend this tour as well as Zizou our tour guide. Our driver is also very reliable and considerate.

The tour is everything we needed. We were able to see and went inside the step pyramid, the bent pyramid, and the red pyramid. My boyfriend and I just came back from a private tour in Saqara, Memphis and Dashur. We had a great experience with our kind driver Anwar and our amazing guide Zizou. It is obvious Zizou is an experienced guide. He was able to answer every questions we had and offered advice on our next itinerary. Strongly recommended!

It was a fun day, Hazem knows a lot and was very friendly. He also arranged lunch for us even though it was Ramadan. 5 stars!

We had a brilliant trip to the ancient sites of Daphur, Memphis and Sakkara guided by the very knowledgeable Mohamed Gomaa and the driver Ehab who arrived at our hotel on time as indicated. Mohamed was very patient with our questions and allowing us the time and space to let us explore on our own after having given us a substantial amount of information around the site. We also had our group photos taken periodically at key locations. Would recommend!

As a family of four including two children we spent the day with Hassan (our amazing guide) and Sabry (our excellent driver) exploring Saqqara, Dahshur, and Memphis. Hassan was friendly and deeply knowledgeable about all the monuments and was happy to share that knowledge with us. He was happy to go at our pace and was great with the kids. Sabry drove us carefully and safely in his comfortable minibus. I couldn't recommend this tour highly enough, it was superb!

We had a great day out with Zizou, who’s very knowledgeable and down to earth. We enjoyed the tour throughout and felt it was well done - organised, on time, at a very comfortable pace. The weather also helped so we didn’t end up being too tired. We’d highly recommend going with Zizou to see these less visited sites after you’ve seen the pyramids in Giza because it holds many more stories here.

Zizou was a great guide, very knowledgeable and friendly. He and our driver made sure we were comfortable throughout the day. We had plenty of time to explore the sights in Sakkara, Dahshur and Memphis, and we enjoyed the level of detail our guide was able to provide. The sights were much less busy than the Pyramids at Giza so if you only have time to visit one of the sites, I would suggest going on this tour instead of to Giza.

Mohamed G was personable and clearly well educated with a great knowledge of Egyptian history. Pick up was on time in a clean car and driver was superb throughout. Great to see the stepped pyramid at Saqqara and the red and the bent pyramids at Dahshur. It’s possible to enter the Saqqara pyramid and also either the red or bent. Guide mentioned the red had a slightly shorter entrance, it’s quite physical but worth going into. Finished off with a trip into Memphis to see the Rameses statue and the smaller sphinx of Hatshepsut. All in good trip, left at 9.30 and back to the hotel by 2.30pm. Thanks both 🙏
