We had an excellent tour of the Pyramids, Saqqara, and Memphis. Our guide Nashat Bedeir was outstanding—extremely knowledgeable, informative, and passionate about ancient Egyptian history. What impressed us most was his ability to read and explain ancient Egyptian texts, which added a fascinating and unique dimension to the experience. He was also very humble, approachable, and happy to answer all our questions, making the tour both educational and enjoyable. His expertise brought the sites to life and helped us gain a much deeper understanding of their historical significance. The entire day was well organised, and we thoroughly enjoyed visiting all three locations. We highly recommend this tour, especially with such an excellent guide leading the way. I wish my day trip would become at lest 3 days trip. Unfortunately, I can only give 5 stars review but I wish I could give 55 stars. Pick up was on time, clean car with AC. Very experience driver with a great personality. Thanks to my guide, Essam, my tour became a travel capsule. I travel 3000 years back in time to the beginning of our civilizations and returned with the stops in every dynasty and every historical occurrence. Essam is a very knowledgeable in history of Egypt and particularly in egyptian pyramids. He covered every aspects from building, history and purpose of every pyramids. Excellent planning of the trip. We spend an extra time at every pyramids so, I could learn more about a dynasties and history Thank you, team. I recommend this trip and Essam as a guide to everyone. Happy travels.

It was easy to be impressed with the subject matters of our private guided full day tour. The Great Pyramid (and its friends at Giza) and the Great Egyptian Museum. But without the wisdom and knowledge of our guide, Essam Khadrawy, it would have been just another day of sightseeing.. Essam has limitless knowledge as an Egyptologist and was able to some of his knowledge in an enthusiastic, engaging and relevant way. He also helped us stay out of the clutches of souvenir salesmen and to get value for our extras.Everything was as promised with a good clean van, a police driver, a knowledgeable guide, an interesting lunch and a couple of worthwhile fill in stops along the way. I highly recommend it.

Essam Khadrawy was an excellent guide. He has extensive knowledge of Egyptian history, archaeology and hieroglyphics. He presented the information so clearly and precisely and with great enthusiasm. We would highly recommend him.

I can't even describe what a wonderful experience today was. I have dreamed of seeing the pyramids my entire life (48 years now). You need to book this with a guide, it made the day magical. Esaam was incredible. Exploring the sites with an actual Egyptologist was amazing. His insight was so enlightening. I will be back to Egypt and I will be doing more tours with him.

My solo private tour is perfect. My driver Abdo picked me up at my hotel and my tour guide Essam joined in the middle. He is a brilliant guide, being super knowledgable in everything regarding the pyramids and the artifacts of the egyptian history. And because he was with me through both the Giza Plateau and the Grand Egyptian Museum, he showed me so much hidden stories and hidden gems a guidless trip can not provide. He also know a lot of the best picture spots and took great pictures for me. In general, the trip is well worth it and Essam is a great tour guide.

We had a great private tour through Deluxe Tours Egypt of the Sakkara Pyramids, Memphis, the Sphinx, and the Giza Pyramids. Essam was our guide and he did an excellent job walking us through every site at an informative and leisurley pace. We were picked up promptly at our hotel in the morning and dropped back off at the hotel in the late afternoon after our tour was over. We would highly recommend this tour!

At one stage we were considering visiting the pyramids and GEM by ourselves, but we’re incredibly glad we made the decision to use a guide. As others have noted, Essam is a well qualified Egyptologist with a wealth of knowledge and experience, moreover he is a good bloke with a sense of fun —he certainly added enormously to our enjoyment and understanding of the Giza site. GEM was a highlight but I suspect it could easily become overwhelming without a good guide. I should also note that Essam was invaluable in navigating the labyrinthic bureaucratic systems of ticketing and navigating around the sites and museums — it could have been a nightmare without Essam. Highly recommended.

We had an absolutely incredible experience on our Giza guided tour! From start to finish, everything was well organized, and our team—especially our guide Essam—made the day truly unforgettable. Essam is a highly experienced Egyptologist with over 26 years in the field and a Master’s in Hieroglyphics. His depth of knowledge and passion for Egypt’s history really stood out. He brought the ancient world to life through detailed storytelling and rich historical context, making this much more than just a sightseeing tour—it was a deeply enriching experience. We started the day at the Giza Pyramids, where we had the opportunity to ride camels upon arrival—a truly unique and memorable experience that set the tone for the day. After the camel ride, we explored the pyramids and the Sphinx, which were breathtaking. Essam provided fascinating insights throughout, helping us truly appreciate the significance of these iconic landmarks. We also had the opportunity to visit local shops for spices and jewelry, which added a nice cultural touch to the day. Lunch was a delicious buffet featuring a variety of Egyptian cuisine—fresh, flavorful, and a great way to recharge. In the afternoon, we visited the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), and all I can say is WOW. The museum is massive, filled with thousands of incredible artifacts. It’s a must-see and a perfect way to end the day. Overall, this was an amazing experience. Highly recommend this tour—especially with Essam as your guide!

The pyramids are vast and busy, but Ebrahim is incredibly knowledgeable and made the whole experience fun. He knows exactly where to take you so you have space to listen and take it all in. He’s also a brilliant photographer, so you not only leave with great memories but with some amazing photos too. We wouldn’t hesitate to book with him again. Thank you for a perfect Cairo day.

We had an amazing day with Marco as our guide, and Ayman as our driver - we couldn't recommend them enough! Marco's choice of timings for each point of the tour meant we never felt like we spent lots of time queuing nor in too crowded places. At each stop, Marco had amazing knowledge, and was able to answer all our questions - he even read us some hieroglyphics! It is clear Marco has not only studied hard, but is one of the best in his field after how many years he has been doing it. Not only does Marco have the knowledge, but he seemed to know people at each stop, and was friendly to us - both of which made us feel instantly at ease as two female travellers. We knew as we are, and appear as, Western women that we could have been easily exploited and/or harassed at multiple points, but Marco (and Ayman) made us feel safe, and warned us where this could happen and told us where to ignore sellers. For two camera shy people, Marco was great at making us feel at ease enough to take pictures - and getting us doing funny poses - meaning we will look back at these pictures with fond memories! For our lunch stop, we had falafel and Egyptian moussaka - which was super tasty! Rather than eat at the restaurant, we ate in an essential oils shop - which we understood was due to how crowded and hot everywhere was. We also appreciated their hospitality, and having a quiet, clean, air conned place to take a beat. Yet we did initially feel a little anxious like we needed to make a purchase in there due to their hospitality. We enjoyed learning about the business, but we did feel a little obliged to buy - but purely our own feeling, nobody made us uncomfortable in anyway. We mention this so that if like us, your budget is tight, and hadn't budgeted for this, a small bottle of essential oils is £20 gbp. We bought one to help with sinuses - and already felt the relief in the room! Finally, need to give kudos to Ayman for his driving. Given the hustle and hustle of Cairo roads, he made us feel super safe, navigating through the roads calmly and with a smile. It is impressive how at ease he made us feel, and more so given he isn't fluent in English. Overall, I've given this tour 5* stars, and would recommend Marco and Ayman to anyone - especially solo female tourists and or small female only groups. In a country where female travellers are told to always be cautious, Marco and Ayman put us both quickly at ease. We hope to return to the area again, and would not hesitate to book back in with Marco and Ayman - and will tell any friends visiting Egypt to do the same!

We had an incredible day with Marco and Ayman! I cannot recommend this tour enough. Marco listened carefully and took us to everything we wanted to see- I had a few places I wanted to see muddled up in my head and he managed to still get us to all of them. His knowledge and expertise is second to none and I only wish I was able to remember everything he told us! The detail in which he knew all of the information, and ability to answer my random questions was very impressive! He could even read the hieroglyphics! You can really tell he has studied this and been leading the tours for a long time. He was friendly with everyone and knew where to go to get the best view. We had been worried about being harassed into buying things having heard some horror stories from friends, to the point where we initially covered our hair as two white women to try and reduce this (neither of us are good at saying no!). However, we soon took the hijabs off as Marco made us feel safe and warned us about where to ignore traders etc. It was a really enjoyable trip and Marco knew everyone, and utilised his contacts to make it a seamless experience. We don’t really care about taking photos of ourselves, but Marco managed to secure some for us without making us feel pressurised that we will treasure forever- thank you Marco. He really knows the best places and poses to make fun memories. We are very grateful for this! We saw everywhere we wanted to see, plus Memphis which was a really nice surprise! We also enjoyed stopping off at the carpet shop and talking to the owner who was lovely and produces incredible work. For lunch we had tasty falafel and chips, which was good! We ate in an essential oils shop, which we were initially a bit anxious about, as this trip was a big expense for us and we had to plan every pound so we were worried about being forced to buy stuff. However, we understood why we were there as opposed to sitting in a hectic restaurant and appreciated a cool, quiet, clean place to sit after the heat of the morning. We enjoyed smelling the oils, and understanding the business history, but did feel a bit obliged to buy- this is only our own feeling, no one made us- we know this is a weakness of ours. If like us, your budget is tight, and you would feel bad leaving someone’s hospitality without buying something, it doesn’t cost that much. In the end we only spent £20 on a small bottle of essential oils to help with colds which seemed worth the money for how strong it was! Ayman was friendly and an incredible driver. How he navigates Cairo roads safely and with a smile, I do not know! We quickly felt at ease with him too, and enjoyed his enthusiasm, which was all the more impressive when not fluent in English. Overall, I’d rate this tour 10/10. If you are a solo woman or in a group of only women, 100% book in with Marco and Ayman. In a country not renowned for women’s safety, we couldn’t have felt safer, which is testament to both these men. Both men were lovely and quickly put us at ease, and we appreciated learning about Marco’s background and the interest he took in ours. If we could have tipped $100 we would have and they would have deserved every cent (unfortunately we are not rich). We will be back again and will tell all of our friends to book in with Marco and Ayman.

Latif was a fantastic organizer—he made the booking process seamless and ensured every logistical detail was handled perfectly before we even arrived. Our guide, Marco, was truly exceptional. His knowledge of ancient Egyptian history and the Giza plateau is encyclopedic, but he presents it in a way that is engaging and easy to digest. He knew all the best spots for photos (avoiding the heaviest crowds) and made the city tour feel personal and authentic. Solo trip to Egypt, i have always wanted to see the Pyramids of Giza. My guide Essam was amazing meeting me at my hotel on the first day. Essam is an Egyptologist Archaeologists and a hieroglyphs expert, we went to the Sakkara, Memphis and the main Pyramids of Giza the amount of information this man knows is incredible, and was able to organise other tours for me as my onward plans were stopped due to unrest in the middle east. Very impressed.

We had a 2 days Cairo tour with tour guide Ahmed. The tour started after breakfast at hotel, and the transportation was always punctual. Welcomed by tour guide Ahmed and was given some history background on the way to visit the Pyramids. Pyramids are amazing and learned so much from Ahmed. On the second day we visited the Grand Egyptian Museum which is absolutely stunning. Ahmed is so knowledgeable and explained all the most important exhibits. We have also visited a carpet school, gallery and bazaar. Both days finished at around 4pm. The admission fees and lunch are included. The tour was very well organised and we enjoyed it so much.

Marco and his driver Ayman were amazing guides. We got to go into the great pyramid later when it wasn't busy, we saw toumbs that we didn't expect and they knew the best way around the sights avoiding the crowds and getting good photos. We learnt a lot about the history in Cairo and other areas in Egypt. We highly recommend this tour as it was nice to be driven around in a comfortable car, with a nice lunch. We took so many photos!

Great days tour with Essam as our guide. Very enthusiastic and helpful with a stream of interesting insights as we visited Saqqara, Memphis, Giza Pyramids and Sphinx. Lovely stop for lunch. Our family with a 12 and 7 year-old had the most amazing day with the private tour we booked. We were picked up on time from our stay and our guide Hassan was absolutely delightful. We visited Saqqara, Imhotep museum, Memphis and the great pyramids of Giza and Sphinx. Hassan helped us not only to navigate the places easily but also helped us understand the science and techniques that existed thousands of years ago that built these ancient wonders. Whenever the walk got a bit too tiring for the little legs of our seven year old, Hassan quickly came up with creative conversations about pyramids that kept him engaged and before we knew it we had done it all ! Thank you to Hassan and Abdul(our safe and calm driver) for a wonderful day and memories that'll stay with us and our boys forever.

Our guide was Marco and he was fantastic - he helped us understand the history, gave us excellent service, and was friendly to be around. If we had more time we’d have Marco guide us in future tours! The tour went the Giza first and saw the pyramids and sphinx, stopped at the obligatory papyrus shop (which was actually kind of interesting), had some great lunch at a local cafe, and ended seeing Saqqara and the tomb of Teti- it was an excellent, very full day!

Inspiring day in Giza, Memphis and Saqqara! Marco was an incredible guide and put so much effort to pack as many attractions into our tour, making sure we got our money's worth and also including a few additional landmarks which we definitely reccomend (trust him!) What an AMAZING experience. We spent 3 unbelievable days touring the sites in Egypt and our final day with Essam as our guide in Giza was unforgettable!! The private tour with Essam was excellent. What an experience! The archeological sites of Ancient Egypt are truly spectacular. We were very fortunate to be the only visitors on the tour - and we were left in the good hands of Hayam and her driver. Everywhere we went, from the Giza pyramids to Sakkara, to Memphis, Hayam did a fantastic job of putting what were were seeing into historical context; she was informative, helpful and a delight to spend time with. We considered it one of the highlights of our holiday and would have no hesitation in recommending it to others!

We had this tour on our first day in Cairo and utterly enjoyed it. Our tour guide Ebrahim was very friendly and knowledgeable and organised, with extra skills of taking great photos. Sakkara pyramids were unanticipated highlights.
